"Hydreigon use Surf!" Ghetsis called out.
"Charizard use Seismic Toss!"
Charizard leapt into the air, dodging around the wave of water coming from Hydreigon's three heads, grabbing the dragon before dragging them into the air with him.
"Hydreigon break free with Focus Blast!"
Hydreigon's heads stopped arguing with one another, long enough for the two arm heads to fire a combined blast at Charizard, knocking the dragon free of the fire types grip, causing both to begin plummeting back down towards the arena.
"Charizard use Flamethrower while they're prone!" Ash called out.
"Hydreigon use Dragon Pulse!"
The two streams of energy collided in midair, as both recovered their stances, resulting in an explosion of energy, shaking the arena itself.
"Charizard use Dragon Rush!" Ash commanded.
"Hydreigon, Crunch attack!"
Charizard rushed at Hydreigon slamming his tail into the pseudo legendary, Hydreigon responding with all three of it's heads biting down on Charizard before tossing him to the arena's floor with devastating force.
"Charizard!" Ash exclaimed, checking on the fire type.
"When will you learn, you can't beat me, you tried with your best, and they weren't enough, now you only have your reserves, how do you hope to win now?" Ghetsis taunted.
"Something you should know about my reserves Ghetsis." Ash said, returning Charizard to his Pokeball. "I have far more than you could ever imagine! Snorlax I choose you!"
Snorlax landed on the arena floor with a resounding thud, dust and debris being shaken up from his presence.
"Hydreigon use Crunch!"
"Snorlax use Ice Punch!"
Snorlax reared his fist back, striking the center head of Hydreigon, freezing it and sending the dragon tumbling back.
"Is that, a Snorlax?" Rosa asked in shock seeing the large normal type in battle against Ghetsis's Hydreigon.
"Just how much was Ash holding back all this time?" Hugh wondered aloud.
"Snorlax use Mega Punch!"
"Hydreigon use Focus Blast!"
The two remaining heads refocused on Snorlax, only to be punched in their combined gut, pushing the dragon back several feet from the impact.
"Enough playing around! Hydreigon use Dragon Pulse!"
"Snorlax use Hyper Beam!"
Snorlax opened his eyes, firing a massive beam of pure energy from his mouth, pushing back against Hydreigon's draconic pulse before breaking through and engulfing the dragon.
"Hydreigon get up!" Ghetsis demanded to no avail as all three heads were unconscious. "Very well then, have it your way! Cofagrigus come out!"
"Snorlax use Heavy Slam!"
"Cofagrigus use Protect!"
Cofagrigus created a shadow barrier, blocking Snorlax's attack from reaching them in just the nick of time.
"Cofagrigus use Toxic!"
"Snorlax use Ice Punch!"
Snorlax rushed forward taking the brunt of the poisonous sludge before slamming his freezing fist into the lid of Cofagrigus.
"Snorlax use Heavy Slam!"
"Cofagrigus use Psychic!"
Cofagrigus struggled, keeping Snorlax away as the heavy normal type managed to outweigh the psychic powers of the ghost type, slamming into them for massive damage.
"Cofagrigus switch out, Toxicroak use Brick Break!"
Cofagrigus was quickly replaced by the poisonous frog Pokemon, sending a devastating blow into Snorlax's gut, sending the normal type onto his back.
"New game, same rules." Ash said. "Snorlax come back for now! Pikachu I choose you!"
"Pika!" PIkachu exclaimed, running onto the field.
"Pikachu use Thunderbolt!"
"Toxicroak use Poison Jab!"
Pikachu sent out a bolt of electricity, easily shooting and hitting Toxicroak as he dodged out of the way of the poisoned claw at the end of their fist.
"Pikachu use Iron Tail!"
"Toxicroak use Sucker Punch!"
Pikachu leapt at Toxicroak, his tail slamming against Toxicroak's clawed fist, both striking multiple times before Pikachu was struck hard enough to go flying back.
"Pikachu! Are you okay?!" Ash asked.
"Pika!" Pikachu said, getting back up, sparks coming off of his cheeks.
"Alright then, use Charge Beam!"
"Use Shadow Ball!"
Pikachu fired off a beam of electricity, piercing through the shadow ball and striking Toxicroak in the center of their chest.
"Toxicroak use Poison Jab!"
"Pikachu use another Charge Beam!"
Pikachu flipped backwards just barely out of the way of Toxicroak's claw as a beam fired from his paws, striking Toxicroak in the center of their chest, sending them rolling back as Pikachu landed back on all four paws.
"Toxicroak use Shadow Ball!"
"Pikachu use Thunderbolt!"
Pikachu leapt into the air, releasing all of his stored electricity into a single bolt of energy, striking through the shadow ball, into and engulfing Toxicroak in the static energy.
"Toxicroak return! Seismitoad use Earthquake!" Ghetsis called out.
The quick switch left Ash and Pikachu no time to respond as the arena floor shook sending Pikachu flying up and into the air.
"Pikachu!" Ash called out.
"Now use Sludge Wave!"
Seismitoad shuddered, each of it's bulbous protrusions vibrating as it released a wave of toxic sludge at Pikachu, coating the electric type in the poisonous liquid as he fell to the ground.
"Pikachu take a break, this is a bad matchup." Ash said, as the electric type shook off his fur, walking back over to his trainer. "Sceptile come on out!"
The grass type came out onto the field, pulling a twig from his tail and popping it into his mouth.
"Incredible, I knew Ash had Pokemon from other journey's, but this is an all star line up by the looks of it." Elliot said in shock.
"Sceptile use Leaf Blade!"
"Seismitoad use Drain Punch!"
Sceptile leapt at Seismitoad, a blade extending from his arm, slicing at the water type as he was also punched in the gut, draining some of his energy.
"Seismitoad use Sludge Wave!"
"Sceptile dodge it with Quick Attack!"
Sceptile ran across the arena, dodging the poisonous liquid erupting from Seismitoad with ease.
"What is Ash's plan with that of all things?" Trip wondered. "He won't win like that."
"Oh shut up already, you lost in the first round, and he's literally running circles around that Seismitoad." Georgia commented.
"That's his plan." Stephan realized. "He's going to tire out Seismitoad by running circles around them!"
"Now Sceptile use Leaf Blade!" Ash called out.
"Seismitoad use Drain Punch!
Sceptile pivoted, leaping into the air before slicing downwards towards Seismitoad, the water type catching their breath as they turned to see Sceptile land their hit right atop Seismitoad's head, causing them to fall over.
"Seismitoad use Muddy Water to get back up!"
"Sceptile use Dragon Claw!" Ash called out.
Sceptile leapt at the prone Seismitoad as it was pushing itself up with a wave of water, slicing across the ground type's back, Seismitoad finally collapsing beneath it's own weight.
"Alright Sceptile!" Rosa cheered.
"This is far from over though." Elliot said.
