A long gone Miraculous

Bella's pov

I turned white when I saw the figure behind me. He was waiting for me. I couldn't do anything. Liliana noticed it before me and started running towards the door. The figure teleported to the door and locked it. Liliana was stunned. She couldn't move from the fear. I climbed the window but the figure was already waiting for me there. It's like it can teleport! Aaron and Olivia woke up scared, shaking. I don't know what to do! The figure took my hand and suddenly, when I blinked, my ring was gone! He was fast and agile. I wanted to pull his mask but he just teleported outside of the hotel. Everything happened so fast that no one had time to even react.

''What will we do?!" I said.

''We have to take the miraculous back. The good news are-'' said Olivia.

''What could possibly be the good news?!"

''…Are that he can't do anything with only one miraculous.''

''I don't think I will sleep anymore.'' said Liliana worriedly.

We didn't even blink that night. Aaron took some naps, but other than that, no one slept. The figure could be back anytime.

''You don't have more information about it, Olivia?" asked Liliana.

''No, sadly. I only know that every person who has this miraculous uses it for bad purposes and is going to make a bad wish that is going to bring the end of the world if he lays hands on your miraculouses.''

It was 5 am in the morning and everyone fell asleep for a little bit, except me. I couldn't sleep. I tried, but every time I had nightmares about the figure making the wish. I heard a knock on the balcony door. I instantly got up and tip toed to the door. It was a strong wind outside. I could hear the leaves of the trees. When I opened the door of the balcony, I felt my feet stuck to their place. I wanted to scream, talk, anything, but I just couldn't! The figure looked like the death, with a knife in his hand. I don't think he will actually kill me! He only brought the knife with him to scare me, right…?

Aaron heard some noise coming from the balcony and woke up. He had really sensitive hearing. He was half awake when he entered the balcony but he fully woke up when he saw the figure standing there.

''What do you want from us?!"

He yelled so loud that Liliana and Olivia woke up and ran to us to see what was going on.

''What in the world-''

Then they both stopped talking.

''I want the wish and nothing else.''

That was the first time I heard the figure speak. I wanted to get out of there as soon as possible but then I realised it was my only chance to get my ring back and defeat him. Aaron saw my tense face and immediately understood what it meant. He transformed and tried to take the ring from the figure's hand. The figure wasn't so dumb so he put the ring in one of his pockets and zipped it. Panzie got mad and grabbed him by the collar.

''If you don't give me the miraculous now I'll kill you!''

Everyone froze. Is he going to go so far?! Suddenly the figure smiled and I saw he had red teeth. I had a serious fear of blood and every time I saw it I became dizzy and sometimes fainted. Everything was starting to get blurry and I fell on the ground like a bird who got shot.

Liliana's pov

When Bella couldn't stand on her feet anymore, I panicked. I didn't know what to do. I caught her and ran in the house. The figure probably doesn't need us anyway. My miraculous is useless to him and less enemies the better for him. I spilled some water on her face to wake her up but no sign. I was certain she didn't die but that thought still travelled my brain and I couldn't really think straight. When I looked outside I saw Aaron punching the figure. I locked Bella in the bathroom so the figure wouldn't get to her and I ran back to the balcony to help with what I could. I transformed. The figure backed down and he started to use one power I haven't seen before. Wait … Bearzy used it! It was slightly different from hers, but I remember when Bearzy got so mad in the final battle that she could control fire. To the figure it was the same thing, but with dark magic. I saw a ball of dark in his hands. I don't know what he can do with it! I got my rainbow punch ready anyway. You don't know when you need it. He threw it on the floor and disappeared. What even was that? Panzie wanted to know what could it do, and he stepped towards it. When he did, the black hole absorbed him inside… I got so scared I grabbed Olivia and we went back inside. Bella was screaming from the bathroom. She didn't know why she was locked there. Oh, no! I can't find the keys! I have to use my rainbow punch, I guess. It's useless now anyways. I broke the door and Bella was free.

''I am so sorry I locked you there! I wanted you to be safer!"

''What were you even thinking?! I thought the figure locked me there!''

I hugged Bella tight. I was so scared I didn't even notice it was morning already. I started to get more relaxed until I remembered one thing… Aaron got absorbed in the black hole! When I told Bella about it, she couldn't believe me.

''I am sorry I didn't help you, guys. I didn't help you fight him. I was there and knew what would happen if Aaron stepped in the black hole but I didn't have time to open my mouth to tell him to back down…'' said Olivia.

''It's ok. We will save him. We know the fighting isn't really your thing.'' I said.

''That's right. I also haven't helped.''

''Stop with the apologies and let's think about a way to get Aaron out of there.''

''What do you know about this black hole, Olivia?"

''Basically, it teleports you to another dimension. A dark, dark one…''

''Can you give more details?'' asked Bella, scared for her boyfriend.

''There are a lot of bad people there and the figure can teleport there any time. It's like a scary dark forest who also has a king.''

''And how do we get there?!"

''Only one Master went there and actually came back… He had the Miracle Box with him. That's how he made it. He only told me what I've told you, because right then the figure killed him so he couldn't tell more. No information about how he got back, what exactly happened, how he got in there in the first place to save the person stuck and who the king was.''

''So we have least information. We will make a plan with what we have, I guess.'' said Bella.

''Yeah…''

We started writing ideas on a piece of paper we found in the small room. None of us could focus, so the ideas didn't make sense or were really bad. We eventually gave up and just stayed there looking at each other, lost in our thoughts…

Aaron's pov

I instantly felt myself falling. What's happening?! Everything went black. I got dizzy as I kept falling in the nothingness. My vision got steady after a few minutes. I thought I was still hallucinating. I heard a raven making noise in one of the black trees. I looked around. Everything was black, except me. This place is scary. There was no escape. I suddenly heard a voice coming from inside the forest.

''Search for intruders, now!" yelled the voice.

I am an intruder! I have to hide! I hid behind a tree and I saw some knights on horses talking to each other.

''Why does he always have to boss us around?!''

''You're right! I guess no intruders this time, either.''

They were named 'The wolves who howl at night'. That was written on their costumes. I got out of the hiding spot and saw a huge castle in front of me right before I made some steps. It was made of brick. Of course it was black, like the other things there. I wanted to go home and abandon this mission with the figure, but I knew it was my duty. I have to get back to Bella, Olivia and Liliana. I hope they will find a way to get me out of here. As I was thinking all of these things, I heard a voice behind me:
''You thought I wouldn't find you, right?''
