CHAPTER 17
Uchiha Itachi vs. Yamanaka Ino Begins…
Itachi's Sharingan spun dangerously as he locked eyes with Ino. His voice was calm but carried an edge of finality.
"You made a mistake looking into my eyes."
He activated his Sharingan fully, intending to end this quickly. But something was off.
Ino smirked.
"What makes you think I'm even here?"
Itachi's eyes flickered as he noticed the inconsistencies around him. His instincts screamed a warning. He immediately dispelled the illusion, only to realize that what he had assumed to be Ino was nothing more than a tree.
His Sharingan whirred as he processed the deception. A Genjutsu? On him?
Before he could react, a powerful force wrapped around his neck—Ino had him locked in a triangle choke hold from behind.
Impressive… Itachi thought, feeling the precise execution of the technique. Most shinobi would never have dared to get this close to him. But he wasn't just any shinobi. His body blurred as he used Genjutsu: Crow Clone , dispersing into a swarm of black crows that scattered through the air.
Ino's grip closed around empty space.
But as she landed, she didn't panic. Instead, she smirked.
"Predictable."
Itachi reappeared a few feet away and immediately struck at her with kunai—but to his shock , Ino also dispersed into crows, mirroring his own technique perfectly.
Before he could track her movements, she reformed behind him, hands already weaving a jutsu.
" Suiton: Sentei Ō Yari! "
A thousand spears of compressed water materialized in the air around her, gleaming with lethal intent. With a flick of her wrist, they fired toward Itachi in rapid succession .
Itachi's eyes narrowed.
"I can't believe you forced me to use this…"
His Mangekyō Sharingan activated, spinning wildly. A translucent, skeletal figure began forming around him.
"Be witness to the Uchiha Clan's ultimate defense … Susanoo. "
The spears clashed against the forming ethereal warrior, but the construct's rib cage expanded, blocking every single projectile. Ino watched as her attacks shattered against the spectral armor.
Itachi's gaze met hers. His bleeding eyes burned with intensity as he prepared his next move.
"Your skills are impressive, but this battle ends now."
The moment he said that, his Mangekyō Sharingan spun again, locking Ino in place.
"Tsukuyomi!"
Ino felt a sudden shift in reality. The world around her bled into a stark monochrome.
She knew what was coming.
A thousand days of torture in a single second. The weight of eternity crashing down upon her mind.
But Ino… smiled.
No, Itachi, she thought. You walked into my trap.
She raised her hand in the real world, her fingers forming a precise seal.
" Suiton: Mizukagami no Jutsu. "
A mirror of water formed between them, shimmering like a polished glass pane.
Itachi's Tsukuyomi rebounded , its power reflecting back at him.
Itachi's entire body froze. His Mangekyō Sharingan flickered as he struggled, his mind experiencing the very illusion he had meant to cast upon her. The weight of his own Genjutsu bore down on him, fracturing his senses.
He stumbled slightly. Impossible…
Ino took a deep breath, her blue eyes calm.
"You underestimated me."
Itachi clenched his fists. The strain of maintaining both Tsukuyomi and Susanoo was taking a toll on this body. He couldn't let this fight drag on.
"…I will end this with one final attack."
His eyes bled. The black flames of Amaterasu erupted, hurtling toward Ino.
The moment the dark flames touched her body, she screamed in agony. Itachi exhaled sharply, his vision blurring from overuse of his Dojutsu.
But something felt wrong.
His instincts screamed at him again.
Then he realized it.
The Ino burning before him was an illusion.
His eyes widened as he turned— just in time to see a kunai stabbing toward his chest.
His body jerked as the steel sank into his torso.
He looked down, seeing the blade protruding from his body.
"You…" Itachi gasped, his vision blurring further.
His gaze shifted back to the Ino that had been "burning" in Amaterasu—only to see it morph into a tree.
" Genjutsu… " Itachi whispered, his breath weakening.
Ino's voice was calm, yet unwavering.
"You didn't realize it, but the moment you activated your Sharingan at the start of this fight… you already lost."
Itachi coughed, his body trembling.
"This… isn't… normal Genjutsu… "
Ino smiled faintly.
"No. It isn't."
She hadn't just used regular illusions.
She had mastered something far beyond the norm.
Her techniques weren't just meant to deceive the mind—but to alter perception on a level even the Mangekyō Sharingan struggled to comprehend.
She had taken inspiration from Kurenai-sensei's stories of a Genjutsu specialist from the Kurama Clan —a girl who could manipulate reality itself through illusions. She had created something similar.
Itachi exhaled one last time. His borrowed body from the Suna spy collapsed.
His consciousness faded into darkness.
Uchiha Itachi vs. Yamanaka Ino Ends…
Yamanaka Ino Wins…
Ino took a slow breath, steadying herself. The battle had been intense—pushing her to use everything she had trained for.
She wiped a small trickle of sweat from her forehead.
Turning away, she gazed toward the battlefield where the others were still fighting.
There was no time to rest.
She had won her fight. And she was sure the others would do the same. She picked up the body as she could use her Clan's Ninjutsu to read this guy's mind. Well, until the body started to stink that is.
With Sakura…
Sakura stood firm, her fists clenched as she stared down the gilled opponent before her. Memories of the past resurfaced—the first A-rank mission she had ever taken part in.
Back then, she had been weak. Powerless. She had stood frozen while Kakashi fought Zabuza, unable to do anything of real value. The feeling of helplessness had burned itself into her memory.
But this time was different.
She was different.
Maybe she still wasn't the strongest, maybe she still had a long way to go—but she was no longer useless.
Kisame Hoshigaki scoffed, shifting Samehada onto his shoulder. His beady, shark-like eyes gleamed with amusement as he sized her up.
"To think I'd have to waste my time fighting a brat."
Sakura didn't flinch. Instead, she smirked, cracking her knuckles as a surge of chakra gathered in her fists. She had spent years training under Tsunade-sama for this very moment.
"Don't underestimate me, fishsticks."
Kisame's grin widened, revealing razor-sharp teeth.
"Heh. You've got some guts, I'll give you that."
Sakura didn't wait for him to make the first move. She lunged forward, the ground beneath her shattering from the sheer force of her step.
This time, she would prove that she wasn't weak.
Hoshigaki Kisame VS Haruno Sakura Begins…
Sakura exhaled slowly, her emerald eyes locked onto the gilled opponent before her. Kisame Hoshigaki was a monster in every sense of the word—towering, muscular, and exuding an overwhelming killing intent. He radiated confidence as he hoisted Samehada onto his shoulder, his shark-like grin stretching wider.
"You're using a weapon. It wouldn't be fair if I fought barehanded."
Kisame chuckled, amused.
"Fair?"
His sharp teeth glinted under the light.
"Life ain't fair, little girl."
Sakura ignored his taunts and steadied herself.
"Kradot Chok!"
She launched herself at him, twisting her body midair as she aimed a powerful downward strike at his nose. The sheer force of her movement created a sharp gust of wind, her fists glowing with chakra-enhanced strength.
Kisame, unfazed, raised Samehada.
The moment her fist collided with the massive, scale-covered blade, a shockwave erupted between them, sending dust and debris flying in all directions. The ground cracked beneath them from the impact.
Kisame blinked, genuinely surprised. He flexed his fingers around Samehada's hilt as he let out a low whistle.
"Huh. Guess I was wrong about you. You're not just some normal brat, are you? You must be that old hag's student—Tsunade, right?"
Sakura's expression darkened.
In an instant, she closed the gap between them, her speed catching Kisame off guard.
"Don't call my master a hag! Ap Chagi!"
With lightning-fast precision, she snapped her leg up, her knee rising to her waist before she extended her foot in a powerful front kick.
Kisame barely managed to block it, crossing his arms in front of him. Even so, the sheer force behind the kick sent him skidding backward, his feet dragging against the ground.
Kisame shook his arms out, rolling his shoulders before smirking.
"Tch. Too bad I never got to fight Tsunade myself, but…"
His grin grew predatory.
"You'll do it."
Without warning, he lunged at her, Samehada raised high, its grotesque scales twitching in anticipation.
Sakura's muscles tensed.
"Ssam-Su Taekkyeon: Nakyoung!"
Just before Kisame's blade came crashing down, Sakura jumped into the air, twisting her body as she executed a midair sweep kick. The movement was graceful yet deadly, her heel slamming into Kisame's shoulder.
His balance wavered for the first time.
Before he could recover, she delivered a teep kick to his stomach, sending him airborne.
Then, with seamless efficiency, she spun around and executed a devastating back kick, sending Kisame flying across the battlefield.
Kisame crashed into the ground, rolling before quickly pushing himself up, his lips curled into a grin.
"Heh. Not bad."
Without hesitation, he formed a hand seal.
"Doton: Dochū Senkō!"
Like a shark slipping into water, Kisame sank into the earth, disappearing beneath the surface. The ground rippled as he moved, his Samehada protruding above like a shark's dorsal fin, cutting through the terrain as he sped toward her.
Sakura exhaled through her nose, unimpressed.
"That won't work on me."
She raised her fist.
"Ōkashō!"
With an earth-shattering punch to the ground, she sent massive shockwaves rippling outward, splitting the terrain apart. Jagged cracks spread rapidly, collapsing the ground beneath Kisame's position.
A loud explosion of earth and debris erupted, and Kisame was violently ejected from underground, his body flung into the air.
Sakura moved in a blur, catching him midair by his hair. With a fierce glare, she slammed her knee into his face, the sickening crunch of his nose breaking echoing through the battlefield.
Kisame let out a guttural grunt of pain.
Sakura wasn't done.
She twisted her body and delivered a devastating uppercut, her chakra-enhanced fist colliding with his jaw, sending him soaring high into the sky.
Kisame hit the ground hard, groaning as he tried to push himself up. Blood dripped from his broken nose. His vision blurred for a moment as he panted, his grip on Samehada tightening.
But before he could make another move… his body suddenly wavered.
Sakura narrowed her eyes as she watched him struggle to stay upright. Then, without warning—
Kisame collapsed.
His body twitched for a moment before it dispersed into smoke.
Sakura's eyes widened slightly as the transformation undid itself, revealing the true identity of her opponent.
His body convulsed once, then fell completely still.
Sakura exhaled, rolling her shoulders. Her fists were still clenched, her heartbeat gradually slowing as she assessed her surroundings.
Hoshigaki Kisame VS Haruno Sakura Ends…
Haruno Sakura Wins…
Back with Sasuke and Kakashi…
Sasuke glanced at his teacher, irritation flickering in his onyx eyes.
"With a thousand jutsu at your disposal, don't you have a single long-range technique, Kakashi-sensei?"
Kakashi didn't immediately respond. Instead, he placed a hand on his chin, contemplating the best way to deal with their airborne enemy. What jutsu should I use?
After a brief moment, a strategy clicked in his mind. His Sharingan eye sharpened as he turned toward Sasuke.
"I'll bring him I give the signal, you strike."
Sasuke gave a curt nod, his body already tensing in preparation.
Kakashi took a deep breath, beginning the hand seals for his chosen technique.
Deidara VS Hatake Kakashi and Uchiha Sasuke Begins…
"Fūton: Fūjindō."
With a single-handed seal, Kakashi gathered wind chakra into his palm, forming a compact sphere that spun violently, reminiscent of a Rasengan but with a singular, unidirectional rotation.
He hurled it toward the sky, the spinning mass slicing through the air like a bullet. As soon as it made contact with the clay bird, a powerful suction force erupted from within, pulling in the surrounding air before detonating in a controlled explosion that obliterated Deidara's creation.
Debris rained down as Kakashi activated his Mangekyō Sharingan once more. His vision blurred slightly from the strain, but he ignored it. With precise timing, he used Kamui to warp Gaara's unconscious body into his dimension, ensuring the Kazekage remained unharmed from the ensuing chaos.
"Sasuke, now!"
Sasuke didn't hesitate. In a single motion, he unsealed a katana, the blade glinting as he unsheathed it. He could feel the heat of battle fueling his every move.
"Honō no Kokyū: Ichi no Kata—Shiranui."
With a burst of speed, Sasuke vanished from sight, reappearing behind Deidara in a blur. His blade sliced horizontally, aimed cleanly at the Akatsuki member's neck for an instant kill.
But instead of panic, Deidara smirked.
"Jibaku Bunshin."
Sasuke barely had time to widen his eyes before the Deidara in front of him began to swell grotesquely, his skin bubbling as explosive chakra filled the clone. It detonated instantly.
Kakashi watched in alarm as the explosion engulfed Sasuke.
Deidara emerged from the ground, laughing.
"Hah! It seems I managed to take down at least one Uchiha today!"
A flicker of movement caught his eye.
"Raisen."
A lightning-infused fuma shuriken spun toward him. Deidara barely dodged in time, feeling the electric charge singe his skin as it zipped past. His grin did not fade.
"What a cold-hearted teacher. Starting a fight without even mourning your student's death. No sympathy at all?"
"Why would he grieve when I'm not dead?"
Deidara's smirk vanished as Sasuke materialized from thin air, grabbing his wrist and twisting it with expert precision. A painful crunch echoed as the Akatsuki member was slammed into the ground using a well-executed Aikido maneuver.
"What?!"
Deidara choked, his body reeling from the impact.
"How did you—?!"
Sasuke pressed his knee against Deidara's arm to keep him down.
"Kakashi-sensei used his Mangekyō Sharingan at just the right moment, sending me into his Kamui dimension before the explosion hit. Then he pulled me out right behind you, perfectly timed with his attack."
Deidara cursed under his breath. He hadn't accounted for Kakashi's space-time techniques. But he was no weakling. He still had an ace up his sleeve.
"Say hi to my little birdie."
Deidara lifted his free hand, revealing a small clay figure in the palm of the mouth embedded in it. C1.
Sasuke's eyes widened as the tiny bird shot toward him, expanding as it flew.
But he was ready this time.
With a burst of movement, Sasuke leapt backward.
"Suiton: Ja no Kuchi!"
A massive serpent made of water surged forward from behind Deidara, its maw open wide to consume Deidara whole.
Deidara clicked his tongue, realizing he needed to escalate his attacks.
"This is taking too long. Fine. I'll give you a real show."
He raised both hands, the mouths on his palms stretching open.
"C2."
From the earth beneath him, a massive clay dragon rose, its eyes glowing with stored chakra. Deidara leapt onto its back as it soared into the sky, evading the water serpent's attack.
"Now this is art."
Sasuke narrowed his eyes, watching as the dragon flapped its wings, sending out smaller clay bombs like aerial mines.
"C3."
Deidara crafted a small clay golem and tossed it downward.
Sasuke and Kakashi didn't need their Sharingan to tell that this attack carried an immense amount of chakra. It was a city-level explosion waiting to happen.
Sasuke exchanged a glance with Kakashi. Both knew they had to detonate it before it reached the ground.
"Chidori Senbon!"
Sasuke formed a cluster of lightning-infused senbon in his hand and launched them at the clay figure. The needles pierced the golem mid-air, sending a chain reaction of explosions across its surface. The sky lit up with a violent blast, forcing Deidara to shield his eyes.
"Doton: Moguragakure no Jutsu."
Kakashi grabbed Sasuke's arm, pulling both of them underground just before the shockwave reached their position.
From above, Deidara scanned the scorched battlefield. There was no sign of them.
He clicked his tongue.
"Tch. Did they get caught up in it?"
His fingers twitched as he considered sending out more explosives, but before he could act—
"Doton: Yomi Numa."
The ground beneath Deidara's dragon softened into a massive swamp, dragging the construct downward. His dragon struggled, but the viscous earth held fast. Deidara's smirk faltered as he felt something grip his ankle from below.
"Now, Kakashi-sensei!"
He whipped his head up to see Kakashi emerging from the earth in front of him, hand crackling with blue lightning.
"Raikiri."
The Copy Ninja dashed forward with inhuman speed, his lightning blade extending into a lethal arc as it slashed across Deidara's throat in one clean motion.
A wet gurgle was all Deidara could manage before his body went limp, blood spraying into the air. His body collapsed onto the sinking dragon, and in seconds, both vanished into the murky depths of the swamp.
Sasuke climbed out of the ground, brushing dirt off his clothes.
"Two-on-one against an Akatsuki member. Doesn't seem very fair to them."
Kakashi chuckled.
"We don't fight fair in war, Sasuke."
Sasuke smirked. He supposed training with Jiraiya had given him an appreciation for underhanded tactics.
Kakashi deactivated his Sharingan with a sigh.
"Let's head back to the cave. I'll retrieve Gaara from the Kamui dimension."
Sasuke nodded, sheathing his sword.
"Yeah. We've wasted enough time here."
As they made their way back, the battlefield behind them lay silent, the remnants of the battle marked only by the scorched earth and the fading scent of ozone from Kakashi's final strike.
Deidara VS Hatake Kakashi & Uchiha Sasuke Ends…
Hatake Kakashi & Uchiha Sasuke Win…
The midday sun beat down on the desert, its golden rays casting long shadows over the remnants of the battlefield. Naruto stood amidst the scattered debris, helping Chiyo gather the remnants of the destroyed puppets.
The old woman had finally made her decision—she would pass on her knowledge to the next generation, choosing Kankuro as her successor. Though she knew he would never surpass Sasori, nor Naruto in sheer strength, she hoped he would become strong enough to protect the Kazekage.
The wind carried the sound of approaching footsteps. Naruto turned to see the rest of the team arriving, their expressions weary but determined. Ino, walking slightly ahead, dropped the body she had been carrying onto the sand. Chiyo gasped upon seeing the corpse, her old eyes widening in shock.
"Are you sure he was with the Akatsuki? He was once a loyal shinobi of Suna."
Naruto narrowed his eyes as a thought formed in his mind. This was something he needed to discuss with his team later. If Akatsuki had infiltrated Suna so deeply, who was to say that Konoha was free of spies?
Pushing the thought aside for now, he turned toward his comrades.
"Let's return the Kazekage to Suna, shall we?"
No one visibly carried Gaara, but Naruto knew exactly where he was. Kakashi-sensei had used Kamui to store Gaara safely in another dimension. As Naruto waited for everyone to gather around him, he reached out and placed a hand on Kakashi's shoulder.
"Hold on tight."
Naruto used Kai-Kai, teleporting the entire group directly to the gates of Sunagakure.
The startled Suna guards nearly attacked before recognizing the familiar faces. Murmurs spread among them as Kakashi activated his Mangekyō Sharingan and summoned Gaara's unconscious body back from the Kamui Dimension. Relief washed over the gathered shinobi, and a ripple of cheers and gasps of gratitude filled the air.
Chiyo stepped forward, her aged hands trembling as she gently touched Gaara's forehead.
"We must take him inside. The people of Suna will be anxious to see their Kazekage returned."
Naruto nodded, but his mind was still preoccupied. He turned to his team, his tone casual but his words laced with significance.
"I think we should take our time walking back to Konoha and talk."
The others exchanged glances, understanding the unspoken message. Without hesitation, Ino activated her Mind Link technique, connecting their thoughts.
Alright, Naruto, what's going on? Ino's voice rang through their minds.
"I don't think we should tell Baa-chan everything directly" Naruto responded, his thoughts deliberate. "Instead, we should inform her about Orochimaru through Ino-chan's jutsu. It's safer that way."
There was a pause before Sasuke frowned.
"Why? That doesn't make sense. If we have valuable intel, why wouldn't we just report it directly?"
"Didn't you hear Chiyo-baa just now?" Naruto pressed. "The guy Ino took down was a Suna shinobi, and no one had a clue he had been working with Akatsuki. That means there could be spies anywhere. Kabuto fooled us for years while working for Orochimaru. If there's even a chance Konoha has someone like that in our midst, we need to be careful."
The team fell into silence. The weight of Naruto's words was sinking in, and they all knew he had a point.
Kakashi was the first to break the quiet. "That's a good strategy", he admitted. "For now, let's focus on getting back. We can figure out how to handle the information once we return to Konoha."
Satisfied with the plan, Naruto exhaled and smiled slightly. Alright. But before that, we should check in with Suna's leadership. Gaara's safety is our priority right now.
After a few miles, Sasuke finally broke the silence.
"So… what's our next move?"
Kakashi glanced at Naruto, giving him the go-ahead to speak. Naruto took a deep breath.
"We stick to the plan. Ino, once we get back, you'll use your jutsu to relay everything we've learned to Baa-chan. That way, if Konoha has a spy, they won't know we're onto them."
Ino nodded.
"Understood."
Kakashi smirked beneath his mask.
"Looks like you're thinking more strategically these days, Naruto."
Naruto rolled his eyes.
"Oi, I've always been strategic! Just in my own way."
Sasuke snorted.
"Yeah, if 'punch everything really hard' is a strategy."
Naruto grinned.
"Hey, it works, doesn't it?"
Their laughter echoed across the dunes as they walked on, a team that had grown stronger through every trial they faced. But even as they made their way back to Konoha, Naruto couldn't shake the feeling that this was only the beginning of something much bigger.
Orochimaru was still out there. The Akatsuki's plans were in motion. And now, the possibility of a traitor lurking in Konoha was something they couldn't ignore.
One thing was certain—things were only going to get more complicated from here.
Sometimes Later…
"Why did you come back so late? I thought you would teleport here directly after the mission ended."
Tsunade's voice carried both curiosity and concern as she eyed Team Kakashi. Her sharp gaze immediately caught the subtle exchange between them. Something was off.
Before she could press further, Tsunade suddenly felt a familiar sensation—her mind connecting to Ino's through the Yamanaka Clan's telepathic jutsu. Ino's voice echoed in her head, relaying everything that had transpired during their mission.
She explained the unexpected complications, the confrontation with Akatsuki, the revelation about the hidden spy, and Naruto's suspicions regarding Orochimaru's own network of informants.
Tsunade remained composed as she processed the information. Outwardly, she merely crossed her arms and sighed.
"I see… Very well. Do as Naruto instructed," she responded mentally.
She turned her attention back to the group and spoke aloud in a neutral tone, masking the conversation that had just occurred.
"There's good news, Naruto. The group you requested has been assembled."
At that, Naruto's expression shifted, his serious demeanor giving way to a small, satisfied smirk.
"Perfect. Tell them to meet me at the Academy."
Without wasting another second, Naruto raised two fingers and vanished from sight, using Kai-Kai to teleport straight to the Konoha Ninja Academy, leaving Tsunade and the others watching after him.
Sometimes later…
Naruto stood at the front of the classroom in the Konoha Ninja Academy, watching as ten civilians—men and women of varying ages—filed in one by one.
They weren't shinobi, nor did they come from ninja clans. They were ordinary citizens, merchants, craftsmen, and scholars, drawn here by curiosity and the promise of knowledge.
It had taken some convincing, but Tsunade had done as Naruto requested and gathered this group of eager learners.
While the world revolved around shinobi and war, Naruto believed that progress didn't only come from battles—it came from intelligence, understanding, and innovation. The world needed more than just fighters. It needed creators, thinkers, and builders.
Smiling, he picked up a piece of chalk and turned to face them.
"Welcome, everyone."
Naruto greeted warmly, setting the chalk down for a moment.
"I know you're probably wondering why a shinobi like me called you here."
The group exchanged glances. Some looked curious, others hesitant.
"Well, it's simple. The world only seems to value ninjutsu, strength, and fighting. But that's not all there is to life. There's so much more to understand, so much we can learn and create. I'm here to teach you something that most people ignore or don't fully understand."
The room fell silent as everyone absorbed his words.
"Now, let's start with introductions. I want each of you to tell me your name, and in return, I'll ask you a question. Don't worry—there's no right or wrong answer. Just give it your best shot."
A man with a short crop of brown hair, brown eyes, and glasses stood up first. He bowed politely before speaking.
"Hello. My name is Katasuke Tono."
Naruto grinned and stepped closer.
"Alright, Katasuke, here's your question: What is white light?"
Katasuke frowned, thinking hard. After a moment, he adjusted his glasses and shook his head.
"I… don't know."
Naruto chuckled.
"That's fine. You're here to learn, after all."
He walked over to the desk, picked up a small glass prism, and held it up so everyone could see.
"You'd be surprised to know that white light isn't just one color. It's actually a combination of all the different colors of light moving at the same speed. But when light enters a different medium, like glass or water, it slows down—except different colors slow down at different rates. That's why white light splits apart into different colors when it passes through a prism."
He pointed the prism toward the sunlight streaming through the window, angling it carefully until a vibrant spectrum of colors appeared on the wall—red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, and violet.
The students gasped in amazement.
"This is the same phenomenon that creates rainbows after it rains. The water droplets in the air act like tiny prisms, bending the light and revealing its true colors."
He turned back to the group.
"Next person."
A young woman of average height and slender build stood up. She had long dark-colored hair and eyes framed by glasses.
"Hello, I'm Inuzuka Akita."
Naruto raised an eyebrow in amusement.
"An Inuzuka? That's a surprise. I didn't think any of you would be interested in this kind of learning."
Akita smirked.
"Not all of us just rely on our noses and fangs, you know."
Naruto laughed.
"Fair enough. Here's your question: What is light, exactly?"
Akita thought for a moment before answering.
"Light is a stream of particles that emit photons."
Naruto nodded approvingly.
"You're half right. Light is tricky—it behaves both as a particle and a wave. When it moves through space, it acts like a particle, traveling in straight lines. But when it interacts with objects, it behaves like a wave, bending and spreading out. This is called wave-particle duality."
Akita's eyes widened.
"Wait, so light can be both at the same time?"
"Yep. It's weird, but that's how it works. And trust me, this is just the beginning of the strange and wonderful things we'll be exploring."
Naruto turned back to the chalkboard and began writing.
"As you can see, I won't be teaching you history or basic arithmetic. Instead, you'll be learning about things that can change the world. You'll have the freedom to explore ideas and develop skills that can push humanity forward. Here's a list of subjects you can choose to study."
He wrote down various fields of science and engineering:
- Civil Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering
- Biomedical Science
- Computer Science
- Electrical Engineering
- Aerospace Technology
- Astrophysics
- Industrial Design
- And many more…
Turning back to face them, Naruto continued.
"You don't have to choose just one. You can study multiple subjects if you want. My goal is to give you the knowledge and resources to explore, experiment, and eventually create."
One of the older students, a middle-aged man with graying hair, raised his hand.
"Naruto-sama, will we be given study materials?"
Naruto nodded.
"I'll provide books, blueprints, and examples to help guide you, but the real effort has to come from you. Learning isn't about memorizing facts—it's about understanding, questioning, and applying what you know."
A young boy in the back hesitantly raised his hand.
"What happens when we finish learning?"
Naruto smiled.
"When you reach a certain level of understanding, you'll take on students of your own. You'll train interns and apprentices, passing on what you've learned to the next generation. That way, knowledge doesn't just stay with a few people—it spreads and grows."
The students looked at each other, excitement flickering in their eyes. They were starting to understand. This wasn't just about learning random facts—this was about building something bigger than themselves.
Naruto clapped his hands together.
"Alright, that's enough talk. Let's get started."
He walked over to a stack of books he had prepared earlier, distributing them to each student based on the subjects they had shown interest in.
"Your first task is simple. Read through the introductory chapters and take notes on anything you don't understand. Tomorrow, we'll go over your questions and start working on practical experiments."
As the students eagerly flipped through their books, Naruto stepped back, watching them with satisfaction.
This was just the beginning.
Konoha had always been a village of warriors. But now, it was time for it to become something more. A village of innovators. A place where knowledge and progress could thrive alongside strength and tradition.
For the first time in a long while, Naruto felt hopeful.
And as he looked at his students, he knew—this was the first step toward a better future.
AND THIS IS SOMETHING NEW, ISN'T IT? I MEAN NARUTO HAS KNOWLEDGE, IT IS ONLY RIGHT TO DISTRIBUTE IT. THE TIMESKIP AFTER SHIPPUDEN WILL LET US SEE HOW MUCH IMPROVED THE WORLD HAS BECOME BECAUSE OF NARUTO. BUT WE ARE STILL A LONG WAY FROM THAT.
SO READ IF YOU WANT TO KNOW.
