3. Arkham Asylum.
The Elizabeath Arkham Asylum For The Criminally Insane, better known as Arkham Asylum, was a psychiatric hospital in the wilderness on the outskirts of Gotham City. Designed as a remote, creepy castle-like facility with a black gate that had the place's name at the top and a gray rock wall around the building, Arkham had once housed many of Gotham's most notorious villains, like The Joker, The Riddler, Two-Face, Scarecrow, etc, etc.
Inside, Dr. Hugo Strange walked down the halls with Jeremiah Arkham, the asylum's current director, who was on his blue cellphone, talking to a staff member, with gray pendant lights handing from the ceiling.
Hugo was balled, had a black beard, wore round light blue lens sun-glasses, a white lab coat and black latex gloves, with his name-tag clipped to the left of his coat.
Jeremiah had black brown hair, brown eyes, he wore a round black glasses and a white lab coat, his name-tag also clipped to the left side of it.
"Yes, okay." Director Arkham said before hanging up his phone. "Alright, Hugo..." He began as he and Hugo stopped in his tracks. "i've got two male staff members dead...another one of our patients is gone...so tell me...what the world happened here last night...exactly?"
"Another one of our patients escaped. That's what happened. I was checking them out and they'd broken loose. It's as simple as that." Dr. Strange explained.
"As simple as that? Patient 666 is a mentally disabled person like every other patient here at the facility. So tell me, how does one of them just walts out?" Director Arkham said.
"You speak of this patient as if they were human. Patient 666 is anything but human." Dr. Strange said.
"Now you're starting to sound like you did ten years ago when patient 0 escaped." Director Arkham said.
"I must warn Gotham concerning The Bat." Dr. Strange said.
"Warn Gotham about The Bat? Why? Why do you have to warn Gotham about him? Why would The Bat have anything to do with Patient 666? Why would he even bother with them at all? He doesn't even know them, he has nothing against them. Nothing what-so-ever." Director Arkham said.
"Evan so...they're still a criminal. That's what The Bat's rage is directed towards." Dr. Strange explained. He would've thought that after six years of The Bat being here in Gotham, Director Arkham would've recognized the pattern by now. But obviously not.
"Fine. Fine. Go into the city. But as soon as you arrive, you check in with the GCPD. Tell them you're there as a percautionary measure. Just as a observer. We don't wanna stir up a panic in the city. Goodness knows those poor people are suffering enough at the hands of the criminal population as it is. So off you go. Go, go, go. Into Gotham with you." Director Arkham said.
"Yes, sir." Dr. Strange said.
"Yes what?" Director Arkham asked.
"Yes, Director. I'm leaving." Dr. Strange said before walking off, leaving Director Arkham behind.
"Hm." Director Arkham said as he stuffed his hands in his lab coat pockets. "The Bat. Yeah, right." He said before turning around and headed back down the hall.
