Sorry for the inactivity! I have been busy with school and tests, but I promise I am going to post more often. A little recap: Liliana followed the figure to his hiding spot, and she found out Cat Noir was kidnapped by him too.

Chapter 10

The final fights part 2

Liliana's pov

''What do you mean…?" I asked, but I didn't want to know the answer.

''You know that she was kidnapped right in front of you, and I had the same story as her just a few days later.'' He whispered, but I could barely hear him.

I froze at what Cat Noir told me and I realised we were standing in the kidnapper's house.

''The figure kidnapped you! He has the Miraculous of the Bear, and I followed him here!"

Before Cat Noir got to say anything else a dark shadow made its appearance behind him and dragged the chair he was tied to across the room.

''You are smarter than I expected, Liliana.''

''YOU! You did all of this!" I screamed in his face.

''That's right. And you figured it out faster than I expected.''

''Let them free!" I said as I transformed as fast as possible.

The figure grabbed my hand, but I used it to pin him to the ground.

''It's time to see who you really are…''

I was about to unmask him until he opened a portal and we both fell in it. Cat Noir ran to us, but we were already gone. I was screaming for my life while he was just relaxing like it was a normal car ride. I didn't want to leave Olivia and Cat Noir alone in the figure's house, but at least Cat Noir was free. They could escape and alarm Ladybug. I landed from the portal right onto the ground and the figure landed on his feet.

''You did that on purpose, didn't you?" I asked.

''Maybe, maybe not.''

''Where are we?!"

''Don't you know where Aaron and Bella are? This is the place. I think they're dead by now, so I only came to collect Aaron's miraculous so I could finally make the wish.''

''What do you actually want?!'' I yelled as I pushed him aside and tried to take his miraculous again.

He lifted me up by my arm like it was nothing and said:

''You forced me to bring you here, so shush and stay here.''

Before I got to answer he teleported somewhere else. He thought I was dumb to follow his orders? I am going to search for Bella and Aaron. Gun shots were heard all over the forest. The poor animals of dark were running everywhere to hide. The castle… they're there. I ran fast and got there in no time. A big fight was going on, and soon enough I spotted the figure's magic. Wonder how? Dark magic leaves black trails everywhere. I entered carefully… there were no knights outside. That was a little weird. I opened the main gate with my super punch and the battle that was going on in front of my eyes was huge. I was flabbergasted, scared… Bella and Aaron were doing everything they could, and I hid. They can't see me, I'll make them lose focus on the fight they were almost winning, with the help of a mysterious girl? Suddenly, white magic surrounded everyone…

Bella's pov

Everyone was confused, dizzy, except Addison, who now was wearing a long white dress and her hair was shinier than ever. Even her skin was glowing with white magic.

''What happened?" we all asked in unison.

''The king…. He doesn't exist anymore. I sent him with the help of my good magic to a prison in the mountains. He is locked up with no powers. He is a prisoner like he let you be for all these years when all you did was take care of your families and be kind.''

We all blinked a few times. Addison was serious. She actually did it, with our help of course. All the prisoners hugged her tightly. Aaron looked at me and I couldn't help but notice the love in his eyes. Right then and there, we had our first kiss. It was the best kiss in the history of kisses. I felt like a fire was lit up in my heart. I was barely breathing because I was so happy. I waited for this moment a long time. The most wholesome part was when everyone in the room started applauding us. There was only one thing missing… Liliana. Suddenly, I heard a familiar voice that reminded me of home.

''Guys… you did it!" she said.

''LILIANA!" Aaron and I yelled in excitement.

We all hugged. Our friend was there, I didn't care when or how she got there, but all that mattered to me was that she came.

''No time for hugs, the figure-''

The figure cut her off as Addison turned to him fearfully.

''Addison? Long time no see… the prison in the mountains was not very comfortable for me.''

''You know him too?! How many evil people have you defeated?!" Aaron asked in shock.

''Not so pleased to see you.'' Addison answered.

''The feeling is mutual.'' He said as he snapped his fingers and all the lights turned off.

I held Aaron's hand, and Liliana fed her kwami in five seconds so she could transform back. She had some cookies in her pocket in case of an emergency. Only Addison's magic was guiding us to the people who were on our side. The knights walked on the figure's side as he pulled Addison's necklace, pulling her too.

''I see you defeated your ex-husband, but as someone who didn't have feelings for you, ever, I guess I won't have second thoughts about this.''

''He was not my HUSBAND!" Addison raised her voice at him.

That was the last thing she said before the figure used his most powerful tool on her: The main power that made her the worst version of herself. Addison lost her spark and the room became the darkest place on earth. People were whispering, encouraging each other not to be scared, but in reality it was not really working. After one minute, we heard the figure's evil laugh, so we assumed it was over. Liliana and Aaron, the only ones with powers left in the room were ready to defeat the figure, when an explosion happened. More powerful than the one that happened when Addison showed her powers. It was like an asteroid hit us. All over again, all we could see was white and hear the words:

''I don't have the worst version of myself. I've accepted it as a part of me, so your powers won't work on me.'' Addison said as she punched him in the face and snatched the miraculous as soon as she could. She threw it at me, but I was so scared and surprised I didn't know what to do. The figure detransformed and he was like a normal civilian then. Aaron transformed and lifted him up, ready to hit the walls with him, until I said:

''Don't go down to his level. Retrieve my miraculous and let Addison send him to the well-guarded prison in the mountains.''

Aaron smiled and did as I suggested. I always knew I brought up the best in him. Aaron pinned the figure to the wall and I ran to get my miraculous. I put the ring on my finger and I was so happy to see Bearzy 2.0 again.

''Bella! You saved me!''

''No, I won't take credit, Aaron did.''

We skipped the small talk and I transformed. I was so happy to be Bearzy again after such a long time. I felt like my world was slowly coming back. I still missed some people, but I knew they couldn't attend the defeat that was going to finally take place.

''Addison, it's time.'' I said.

''I know.''

She used her magic and the figure was gone. Even though he was just a boy, no one could ever excuse the things he did. Maybe sometime he will change… I like to believe in everyone, no matter who they are. I just smiled at everyone while tears were streaming down my cheeks. I missed my friends, but the ones that were next to me also meant everything. It was time to return home. And not Paris. California. The city I left everything in. My home. I haven't seen the street I live on in almost a year… I am behind with my studies, but the most important of all my designer career is probably over. I don't have time to think about that… I will just help my friends one last time.

I sighed and Addison handed me the figure's miraculous.

''Am I the one who should use this? What if it takes control of me like it did the figure?''

''That miraculous is the root of all evil, but we trust you enough to use it wisely so you can open the portal to get us home.'' Aaron reassured me.

I transformed and my bear suit blended perfectly with the black that the miraculous of the dark gave me.

''You look incredible.'' Aaron complimented me and I smiled.

I wanted to get it over with. The portal opened and I was scared to step in it. It was the portal who made us suffer so much, and I knew it would get us back in Paris, I didn't find the courage to do it.

''Not yet. I am not finished.'' Addison and I said at the same time.

We looked in each other's eyes and we were ready to do what we had to before we gained our courage. Addison used her powers to make everything right in the king's kingdom. She made the sun rise. We all went outside to see the first sunrise ever in the world of dark, who now became the world of light. The prisoners and any other human who was in the forest covered their mouth when they saw the spectacular round sun appear on their black sky.

''This is awesome!"

''Is this the so called sun?''

''Will we see it again?''

''How did she do that?"

''It's beautiful!"

All the people were surprised and they congratulated Addison. Even Aaron and I, who had seen the sun before smiled. The nature revived, everything was green and alive. The fruits started growing on trees, and Aaron taught a few people how to water the plants so they would have food, not the leftovers the king gave them.

''I promise we will come back with gifts for you all. But we have to see our families and escape.'' I announced.

They nodded and I cried. I saw Liam through the crowd, but I already decided what was best for me: I didn't want to talk to him anymore.

''I hope even the ones who prayed for my downfall and ratted me out to the king have the best life and realise the only thing I wanted was to help them.'' I said while looking at Liam.

He was silent, he didn't say anything to me. He was too ashamed that he had helped the king capture me. I opened the portal again. Liliana, Aaron and I were ready to jump in, but we were still waiting for Addison.

''I'm not coming with you…'' she said.

''W-what…?'' Aaron said.

The end of chapter 10! It has 2000 words to make up for my constant absence on this app. I am sorry I didn't write this chapter well, but I am honestly tired of writing on this book so much, but I also wanted to give you a proper ending. Don't worry, this is not it! My inspiration came back a little bit, so there will be two chapters before the ending. I hope you liked it. The king's and Addison's storyline is about to be fully explained. The fights were a little rushed, but I believe I made them as interesting as I could.
