07/28/2656- Relays Discovered In The PA-K4-040131-2 System, Garden World And System Finally Named

"Today, after nearly a month of exploration, the Garden World discovered 22 days ago has finally been given a name. After 15 days of debate by the Protectorate Exploration Committee has given the system the name Hoc, while the world has been named Virmire. Additionally, exploration of the outer system has unveiled several inactive Mass Relays, one Secondary, and two Primary Relays. Trajectory calculations for the Primary Relays show that one is in the direction of the Attican Beta, where a potential pair dormant Relay resides, and the other, while the other goes core and antispinward of the system, in the direction of the Banshee's Well and Omega Nebula. The Banshee's Well is known to hold an inactive Relay in its outer reaches, so it may go there. This bodes poorly for colonization prospects, as the Relay would bring pirates and other hostile groups to the Cluster."
