9/13/2656- Union Fleet Returns To Noudrur In Defeat

"Today, the Union combined fleet exited FTL and retired to Noundrur orbit significantly degraded in numbers, with only 117 vessels entering the Garden World's orbit compared to the 205 that left less than four full days ago. Of the fleet's battleline, only the Guardian of Democracy, a grand cruiser, and the heavy cruisers Warhound and Sentinel remain, the Stalwart, a heavy cruiser previously seen to have escaped the ambush two days ago, is nowhere to be seen. No Union officials have commented on the fleet's return, with all asked by the press refusing to give any information."
