9/15/2656- Sonurvral Republic Declared By Rebel Forces

"Today, a speech was transmitted across a large section of the Terminus Systems, declaring the independence of the planet Sunurvral and the creation of the Sunurvral Republic. The speech, given by a salarian female claiming to be the President of Sunurvral, calls the Union an wretched empire that oppressed its people and should be destroyed, and orders all Union officials and military personnel to leave the planet and its orbit at once. The Union's President has decried the Sunurvral Republic as "a collection of terrorists and pirates attempting to undermine the Union and distract it from foreign aggressors." They have further claimed that no Union military personnel shall leave the planet, and in fact a task force has been assembled to reinforce the Union's presence on Sunurvral."
