The early morning sunlight streaming in through the rulers of Arendelle's bed-chamber windows, it slowly starts to draw Anna from the most wonderful sleep she can ever remember having in her life. She lays on her side, feeling completely rested and amazingly satisfied, an overwhelming sense of relief pervading her mind. As the fog of sleep slowly starts to roll away, she becomes aware of the warmth of Hiccup's firm, lean, and nude body pressed against her back. His arms are draped over her waist and he hugs her to him in his sleep. She smiles as she gently takes hold of his arm, then her smile blooms from ear to ear as she realizes that Elsa's hand is right next to his forearm, also touching her belly. Feeling Hiccup's slow and quiet breathing warm the back of her neck and head, Anna quickly realizes that the three of them are spooning together, with Hiccup laying between her and Elsa, all of them snuggled up close together on their right sides.
Anna knows just how blessed she is to have Hiccup and Elsa in her life, she loves them with all of her heart. And what they shared together? It wasn't a normal relationship, but Anna didn't care what everyone else thought about the three of them being in a relationship, she loved Hiccup and Elsa both. And nothing would ever change that. Their love was so... perfect, Hiccup and Elsa were perfect, it made Anna's eyes moisten with tears as unpleasant memories of the past came rushing back to her: the years she was alone and without companionship while growing up, fearing that Hiccup was dead when Arendelle was sacked five years ago, Elsa nearly dying while defending the kingdom from that... monster Hans, as well as said monster raping her in front of Elsa.
Anna whimpered at the awful memories as she nestles in all the more needily into Hiccup while squeezing her eyes shut, breathing deeply as tears start to well up. She reminds herself that Elsa and Hiccup will always love her and never shut her out, that she'll never have to fear them seeing her as a broken object that's beyond repair.
She had lived for so many years with the pain, frustration, and all of the heartache of being shut out and alone.
Haunted by the past, Anna tries to focus on the present, on Hiccup and Elsa spooning her. She thinks about last night. Her mind is flooded with detailed memories of how their family had a day of fun together, and she also remembered the love they shared in bed before having such a fun day with their family; she recalls with vivid clarity every word that was said, every touch, every smile, every loving look, every kiss, every breathy moan, and every last passionate scream as the three of them reveled in their lovemaking. It all seemed too good to be true, but as she gently caressed the hands, wrists, and arms of the two people she loves most in this world, the reality of it is undeniable and it shakes her to her core.
The nightmare is over. It's finally over. She doesn't have to be alone anymore and doesn't need to worry about being shut out.
Never again.
Though she tries to fight the emotions that swell up inside of her, the reality of it all crashes violently down upon her, and Anna feels herself quickly losing the battle. She doesn't want to wake Hiccup and Elsa, but the tide of joy and the flood of relief, coupled tightly with the vivid memories of those years of pain and suffering overwhelms her, drowning her, and soon her tears flow freely. Her body shivers with the intensity of it. She desperately hugs their arms to her, pressing herself back against Hiccup's body, needing to feel his reassuring nearness, needing the reminder that this is real, they both love her and she loves them, and that's okay. She feels him stir and reflexively tighten his arms that wrap about her waist, an action that Elsa mirrors, both of them moaning softly in their own contentment. Anna feels so wonderfully secure and happy in their shared embrace, so relieved at the end of her own personal hell, that she can't help it when a heartfelt sob slips out with her next inhale of breath, her body shivering against Hiccup. The loud sound cuts through the silence of the bedroom.
"Anna?" Hiccup instantly but groggily responds, starting to stir against her.
As he starts to wake, Anna winces, feeling frustrated that she had let her emotions get so out of hand. She wanted to let him sleep longer, and she really doesn't want to explain her tears. She's not sure that she has the words to do so.
With her silence, he worriedly asks further, sounding more awake. "Hey, what's wrong?"
She squeezes her eyes shut as the memories of Hans raping her flood over her, along with the pain of Elsa shutting her out as children, losing their parents to Vikings, and being alone. Reaching behind her head, she finds his cheek and strokes him tenderly while she turns her head, whispering tenderly. "N-Nothing... go back to sleep, my love."
The tremble and passion in her voice have the opposite effect, however. Hiccup props himself up on his elbow to try and see her face better, looking down at her with concern. Anna can't turn away fast enough, although she tries, it's too late. As he moves, Elsa moans softly behind him, disturbed by the shifting of his body against hers and the forced shift in her arm's position.
"Anna, what's the matter?" Hiccup asks with concern, the arm that's wrapped about her waist moving so he can stroke over her cheek with his fingers.
He hesitates as he feels the moistness on her cheeks, then he asks more urgently, "Anna, why are you crying?" She winces, keeping her face hidden by her hair, though she presses her body further against his as he continues to lean over her to try and see her face. She squeezes her eyes tightly shut, more tears leaking out as she tries to hold back the tide, her every breath a battle against another sob that threatens to rip out of her.
"What's wrong?" Elsa murmurs in a sleepy, but worried tone. Anna can hear her moving, too. She huffs a sigh in frustration at the complete disaster she just caused, then curses herself as the emotions she's trying to fight are even further fueled by how much care and concern she hears in her two lover's voices.
"Anna's crying," Hiccup reports anxiously, his hand gently brushing her strawberry blond-hair aside, visually confirming to himself his own words.
"What?!" Elsa says urgently, Anna can hear the rustling of sheets as Elsa sits up.
Realizing that she can't avoid this anymore, she resigns herself with a sigh to the inevitable and turns over onto her other side to face the two people she loves so much. Tears are streaming down her face as she opens her eyes to look at them. Hiccup drops down off of his elbow, and while he's watching her with deep concern, he strokes her cheek with his hand, brushing her hair from her face as she lies in front of him, their heads both on the pillow as they look at each other. Now Elsa is leaning against him, looking over his shoulder at her with worry deeply etched upon her face.
"Anna, what's wrong?" Elsa asks, her angelic voice urgent with intense concern and rich with loving affection for her sister and lover. Elsa watches Anna with a deeply worried gaze, reaching over to caress her tear-stained cheeks along with Hiccup. Both of them look at her with such tender love and worry that Anna can't help it, she breaks down into tears, sobbing heavily while closing her eyes tightly and leaning into the man she loves.
Hiccup wraps his arms about her and pulls her to him, resting his forehead against hers. Elsa calls her name urgently, scrambling up and crawling over both of them, laying back down behind Anna, pressing their naked bodies together as she wraps an arm around her sister's waist. When Hiccup and Elsa sandwich her between them, both hugging and squeezing her to them, she can't help but weep all the more, her chest heaving in heart-wrenching sobs. Elsa places desperate kisses upon her neck and cheek while Hiccup kisses her cheek and forehead. She feels their lips shower her skin with affectionate caresses, sending pleasant shivers through her body. Anna feels the warmth and coolness of Hiccup and Elsa's bodies not only of how snuggled up they are with her, but of their every exhale upon her neck and face, and of how much they love her. They press their naked bodies against hers, the temperature of their skin on her bare flesh sending an endless stream of shivers through her.
"I j-just," she starts to say, interrupted by a sob. "I... I just love you so much," Anna murmurs through her tears, adding hastily, "I love you both so much!" A sob rips through her body, and both Hiccup and Elsa hug her even more tightly.
"I love you too, Anna," Elsa quickly answers, while Hiccup says almost at the same time, "I love you too, honey." Their words only serve to send her into another fit of crying. Anna holds onto Hiccup's waist, desperately trying to pull him closer. Elsa rests her cheek against Anna's and she presses back firmly, wriggling her back against Elsa's body, trying desperately to get even closer to both of them at the same time. Elsa and Hiccup both cover her legs with theirs, the four entwining with the two to make her feel even more enveloped by their closeness.
Elsa and Hiccup exchange worried glances as Anna sobs, their eyes moist with tears as they hurt inside for how their love is so upset. Wordlessly, they realize they'll just have to wait this out. She's not going to be able to tell them anything until she gets this out of her system. Elsa rests her cheek upon on Anna's, while Hiccup rests his forehead against the crying woman's. Both hug her tightly and snuggle as close as they can to her, while she pours her heart out in a seemingly endless stream of sobs and tears.
It takes a little while, but eventually, her body stops convulsing so often, her breathing slowly starts to settle down. She clutches desperately at Hiccup's waist, keeping him close, though he makes no move to go anywhere, touching as much of her naked body with his as he can, his arm wrapped tightly around her waist. Elsa strokes Anna's cheek with her own, often murmuring the words, "I love you," a phrase Hiccup also chimes in with periodically as he hugs her to him, sometimes gently kissing her lips. Elsa's shapely, nude body is pressed as completely against Anna's as she can manage, her arm snuggly tucked about her sister's waist.
Finally, mercifully, Anna's sobbing stops, and she just breathes raggedly. Hiccup and Elsa exchange worried glances, but neither say anything. They simply wait for when she's ready to speak. Anna tugs Hiccup to her again, a gesture he mirrors as he leans his body into hers once more. Then, Anna nuzzles her cheek affectionately against Elsa's, the ice queen leans into Anna's body again, squeezing her arm about her sister's waist, then presses her lips firmly against her tear-stained cheek while whispering against her skin, "I love you, Anna." None of them move for a while, except to try and snuggle closer to the others.
Drawing in a deep, heavy, trembling breath, Anna finally starts to move, trying to roll onto her back. Her two lovers immediately make room for her. Once she's on her back, the other two quickly adjust to lie against her again, each of them pressed upon opposite sides of her, partly covering her body with both of theirs. Hiccup and Elsa watch her attentively, their gazes full of love and worry for her, so much so that she has to close her eyes again, worried that she'll start to bawl once more. Elsa and Hiccup both start to kiss her cheeks tenderly, nuzzling her skin as they wait patiently for her to say something. She sighs heavily, wrapping her arms about their waists.
"I'm sorry," she whispers brokenly, opening her eyes to look at them.
"Stop that," Elsa quickly protests, covering Anna's lips with her own in a light, fleeting kiss, sending a shiver through the other woman's body. "You don't need to apologize, sweetheart," she then adds, "just... just tell us what's wrong, please..." The tear-stained woman can hear the fear in Elsa's voice, and she suddenly realizes that the other two might be misinterpreting her sadness as regret or second thoughts about their marriage.
Swallowing heavily, Anna forces herself to open her eyes and look at the man and woman whom she loves so much. Drawing in a heavy breath, she explains, "I... I'm just so overwhelmed by what's happened," She sees the both of them continue to watch her with worry, then realizes she hasn't said anything to assure either of them that she's not changing her mind. Huffing a sigh, she tries again, "what we shared last night, what we have been sharing for five years now, the three of us?" She smiles warmly at them, "it's all so amazing and wonderful and perfect... it... it just seems too good to be true." Elsa and Hiccup start to smile along with her, continuing to watch her attentively as she elaborates, "I... started thinking about how awful it's been for so many years... but what we've been doing for the last five years has been so beautiful..." She's forced to close her eyes and swallow heavily, fighting back the tears that threaten once more.
After pausing again, she continues, "I had lost all hope of being truly happy. All the hurt from all those years of being alone, shut out by you Elsa, losing our parents, Hiccup being a Viking ships slave, and... and Hans raping me," she spat out those last four words before continuing, "those terrible memories and feelings of hopelessness, sorrow, and pain just came crashing back down on me. After recovering from Hans temporary, yet bloody rule here, I believed it was only a matter of time before you both saw me as a broken object that's beyond repair and it crushed me inside." Her voice cracks and again, she can feel the tears welling up inside of her. She closes her eyes, determined to stop crying, but it takes an epic amount of effort.
After taking a few deep breaths, she sighs again and forces herself to look at them and say, "I've never felt so happy and so loved as I do now. I don't ever want this to end. I can't imagine being in this world without either of you and for us to be here now, the three of us, sharing our love like this..."
Again, she loses the battle and the tears come forth. In an instant, Elsa and Hiccup both lean in and ply soft kisses to her cheeks and lips. Anna wraps an arm about each of their waists while squirming happily beneath them as they lean into her, wordlessly assuring her with every tender kiss, every nuzzle and rub and caress of their naked bodies to hers to ensure her that neither of them isn't going anywhere. Between tender kisses, both whisper how much they love her. She answers their words in kind, brokenly telling them how much she loves them, too. The woman sobs a few more times and her lovers press their bodies to hers as they try and comfort her as best they can.
After a few long moments, she finally gets herself under control again. When she opens her eyes, she sees both of them with moist eyes, their own tears having fallen when she wasn't looking. She makes a lamentable sound as she sees how her sadness has affected them, but before she can say anything, Elsa kisses her passionately. Anna wraps an arm about her sister's neck, all while also hugging Hiccup to her as he presses warm and firm kisses to her cheek, jawline, and neck. Soon enough, he worms in for his turn, Elsa readily yielding and treating Anna's cheek on her side to kisses, as Hiccup had done for the one on his side. They switch up again, with Elsa kissing Anna on the lips while Hiccup kisses her cheek. Then, they switch once more.
Finally, the kissing winds down and they're just nuzzling each other, their naked bodies pressed tightly together, Elsa and Hiccup on either side of Anna as she lay on her back. Finally, Anna has stopped crying, she just hugs them both desperately, with one arm around each of their waists. Drawing in a deep. ragged breath, she sighs heavily and opens her eyes, blinking a few times to clear them.
"Sweetheart," Elsa begins tenderly, "we're not going anywhere."
"We feel exactly the same as you do," Hiccup assures her, glancing over to Elsa, who immediately takes his cue.
"Absolutely," she assures the emotional young woman, nodding resolutely. Both of them are caressing her cheeks with their hands, staring happily into her eyes.
"I know," Anna says, now feeling ridiculous for her outburst. Seeing the guilt written across her face as the dusky-skinned young woman's brow furrows, Elsa quickly and gently scolds her.
"Don't you dare feel bad for crying," she insists, her hand upon Anna's cheek grabbing her chin and forcibly, yet tenderly, turning her head towards her. "I don't want you bottling up your emotions. If you need a good cry, you go right ahead."
"That's right," Hiccup assures her, and she turns her head slightly to look at him. He meets her gaze intently, explaining, "we need to be completely honest with each other, now, about everything, especially about how we feel." Elsa nods resolutely at his point, causing the strawberry blond to place a warm, tender hand on Hiccup's cheek, and with a sigh, he leans into Anna's hand while reaching up and holding Elsa's, pressing it to his face.
"What we're doing here?" Elsa starts to explain, "the three of us, sharing our love together as a trio?" She winces as Hiccup lifts his brow when she uses a label, but she bulls forward without giving him a chance to say something, "this is going to be difficult enough without us picking at old wounds." Pausing just for a moment to emphasize her point, she goes on, "most people aren't going to approve of our marriage, and few people will probably even accept it, we're fortunate all of Arendelle accepts our love and the three of us being together." After another pause, she adds, "I bet most people, even our friends, and closest allies, are going to try and force each of us to stop. Everyone is going to want us to choose one or the other."
"Never!" Hiccup growled out, "I want this more than anything! I'll do anything to keep the three of us together!" The passion in his voice soothes both women, who visibly relax and smile slightly.
Nodding, Elsa speaks firmly. "Good," Looking between them, she explains, "my point was, we're only going to be able to depend upon each other. We can't assume anyone else is going to be in our corner. We need to expect everyone else is going to be against our choice to do this, so none of us can falter in the slightest in supporting each other." She sighs heavily, pointing out, "we have to let the past go and accept the fact that we did everything we could to end that madman Hans and his regime, and we did. But it's in the past now. We can't bring up anything that happened before, we can't have that kind of guilt or reproach or pain between us anymore. We have to be there for each other, no matter what." Hesitating, she adds, "the three of us need to let go of the past, and focus on the future we have together."
She falls silent for a few moments, letting her impassioned speech sink in. Both Hiccup and Anna watch her with somber expressions, but neither debate her points.
Finally, Hiccup looks to Elsa, cupping her cheek with his hand. She covers his hand with hers, staring back into his eyes as he watches her intently.
"I agree, we've been through so much together and it's hard to forget what Hans and the Vikings did to us," Licking his lips, Hiccup continued, "but that's the past, and I want to share the future with you both. To grow our family and lead our people into prosperity."
"Agreed," Elsa says firmly as she looks down on Anna with a warm smile, "you're perfect my dear sister. Hiccup, and I will always love you, Anna. I promise you that." Anna holds back her tears of happiness and nods furiously at Elsa's words, she then says four words. "Prove it to me."
With that said, Elsa leans in towards Anna, and again she lifts her head at the last second to meet her sister above her pillow. Their lips meet and they kiss sweetly, lovingly caressing one another's faces with tender touches of their fingers, with Anna's head sinking back down into the pillows plushy support.
After giving them a few moments to themselves, Hiccup then leans in to join them. The kissing women readily move to accommodate him and the three start to kiss tenderly together. They linger for a while, sometimes teasing each other with their tongues, other times just caressing each other with their lips. Soft moans escape each of them, and soon all three are tingling from head to toe, feeling warm and loved while wreathed in smiles together. Sometimes, two of them kiss deeply together while the third kisses their cheeks, other times they go back to all kissing together.
After lingering for a while, the kissing winds down and the three look at each other with warm smiles, gazing contentedly at one another.
"So what now?" Hiccup wonders idly, to which Anna responds quickly.
"I, uh... I need to go pee!" She says with considerable urgency, wriggling beneath them in an effort to get out from under them. Elsa and Hiccup look at each other in surprise, then share a laugh as they move to free Anna from the warm, cool and cuddly prison that their two naked bodies had created for her while the three had snuggled together.
Elsa's amused demeanor changes into one of alertness as she looks back out towards the window, causing Hiccup cock his head in curiosity. "Are you hearing what you heard last night?" He asked, causing Elsa to hum in confirmation. "I don't what it means Hiccup," Elsa sighed out, "but... something is out there calling to me, I just wish I knew what it was." Hiccup wrapped his arms around Elsa and pulled her to him, his chest pressing against her back. "Whatever it is, we'll find out what it is," he then kissed her cheek and murmured out, "I promise." Elsa hummed in acknowledgment and turned her head to give him a proper kiss. After breaking their kiss, Hiccup nuzzled the back of her neck and pressed kisses along her delicate skin, causing Elsa to moan in happiness and sink further back into Hiccup's arms.
But Elsa couldn't help but wonder what it was exactly that was calling to her, or what it means. Hiccup said they'd find out together, and she was looking forward to what this voice calling out to her means.
(Unknown location)
North of Arendelle, a group of Vikings has settled in the fabled Enchanted Forest, where elemental spirits supposedly rule. These Vikings have been here for quite some time and despite not believing that this forest is ruled by elemental spirits, their chief believes it and wishes to understand the lore and legends of these elemental spirits. These Vikings are known as the Hidden, they're a tribe that is more peaceful than bloodthirsty, but they're far from innocent.
These people serve as spies to warmongering Vikings, they inform their Viking brethren of any weakness the Saxons have yet to rectify and allowing those who crave war to exploit the Saxons weakness in the most fatal ways possible. In return for providing the warmongering Vikings with vital information about the Saxons, the Hidden received payment in coin, furs, livestock, and other necessities to stabilize their tribe.
Chieftain Arne, leader of the Hidden was already up, and early while continuing studies about the elemental spirits of the Enchanted Forests in his personal library. The man was muscular, his head was shaven that showed off Viking tattoos, he sported a sharp dirty blond beard, he wore black leather armor as well as boots, and he was draped in a wolf fur cloak. Despite having the appearance of a raging warrior, Arne was an intelligent man, one who values knowledge more than spilling blood and waging war. He believed these spirits could be transferred into a living being, allowing that mortal man to possess godlike power. Luckily for Arne, he already had the perfect human sacrifice to test his theory.
Getting up from his seat, he made his way towards the dungeon and to go check up on his... guest. For years now, the Hidden have harbored a prisoner of great value, not only did this prisoner possess elemental powers, but she was a princess of Arendelle. Chief Arne has heard that a Viking now rules Arendelle alongside the late Agnarr and Iduna's daughters, Elsa and Anna. This prisoner's name is Sophia and she was the first heir of Agnarr and Iduna, but the Hidden snatched her from Arendelle while the young princess explored beyond the safety of the trading kingdom's walls.
Finally entering the dungeon, Agnarr shut the door and laid eyes on Sophia, the Saxon girl had dark brunette hair, ocean blue eyes, and she looked exactly like the late Queen Iduna. Sophia was dressed in a simple long sleeve dress and she had shackles that covered her hands, a necessary precaution to ensure she wouldn't use her powers to slaughter every last one of the Hidden. Looking down on the floor, Arne hummed and spoke up. "I see the guards have already given you something to eat, that's good," the old chief then continued, "because I have questions, and you will provide me the answers."
Sophia blew strands of hair out of her face and looked into Arne's eyes. "I will tell you nothing," she snarled out, "you heathen dog!" Arne sighed heavily and pinched the bridge of his nose. "I have treated you with kindness girl," he said firmly, "I allow you to bathe in privacy, eat food, drink water, and even offer you a place among us. Yet you take advantage of my hospitality and have killed many of my people with the power you wield."
"Because you ripped me away from my home!" Sophia barked out. "You robbed me of my childhood, took me away from the loving embrace of my family, and brought me here to live with you... people!" She spat out the last word with disgust. "You've taken so much from me, and you expect me to fall to your feet, kiss your feet, and give you my thanks?!" Sophia huffed and puffed heavily, causing Arne to purse his lips and nod. "True, we ripped you away from your family and future kingdom," the chief of the Hidden continued, "but you are fated to do more than wither away inside a palace and rule commoners." Arne then pulled out a small book that was tucked in the back pocket of his leather pants and opened it. "This forest is ruled by elemental spirits," he then smiled at Sophia, "you possess the power of stone! Is it possible to transfer these spirits into a being blessed with powers like your own?"
"Never," Sophia growled out, "I will not become a living weapon that you can use against my countrymen!" Arne offered Sophia an apologetic smile. "Of course not, nothing is ever simple with you," he then continued, "but I'm afraid it's only a matter of time until I learn how to take control of these spirits and transfer them into you." Arne then bowed his head at Sophia. "Until our next meeting Princess Sophia," he then added, "not all of us are monsters, I do what I must to ensure my people have a future." Arne then opened the door of Sophia's cell and closed it, leaving the forgotten princess alone.
The morning sunlight shone inside Sophia's cell, she looked towards the barred window and began calling out to her sister, Elsa. Over the years, she had heard stories of how Queen Elsa, her sister Anna, and their husband Hiccup, who was in fact a Viking dethroned a usurper who took their kingdom and defeated a massive Viking army with the power of winter and ice as well as dragons! Though she didn't know her sisters, Sophia knew that if she called out to Elsa, she would eventually come to her rescue and hopefully rescue her from these barbarians who took her from Arendelle so many years ago.
Ever since hearing Arendelle has become more powerful than ever, Sophia would pray that Arendelle would look towards the Enchanted forests to expand the kingdom and dispose of the Hidden. She only recently began calling out to Elsa, she didn't even know if Elsa could hear her calls, but she prayed that she did and that Elsa and Arendelle would come to her rescue and bring her home.
"Find me, Elsa," Sophia murmured out, "deliver me from the hands of these heathens."
