Today was a big day for Lincoln Loud. This was the day that he was about to introduce his entire family to his girlfriend. His parents and sisters gathered in the dining room as dinner was close to being ready. "Okay, you guys. My girlfriend's gonna be here any minute," he emphasized with excitement. Although, the sweat on his brow and his somewhat strained facial muscles betrayed how nervous he was. "Are you all ready to meet her?"

"Of course we are, son," his father said happily. "We can't wait to meet her."

"Especially since you've always been so vague whenever you talk about her," Lola pointed out.

"Yeah, you've never even told us her name," Leni agreed. "Just that she's a demon."

"And that she's in the music business," Luna added.

"And that you met her on the job," said Lucy.

"Uh, yeah. Listen, I'm sorry for being so short with you all," said Lincoln. "I was just worried you guys wouldn't approve of her."

"Oh, sweetie, don't worry," Rita said gently as she gave her son an assuring smile. "I'm sure she's a perfectly lovely girl and that we're all going to love her."

"Even though she's a demon?"

"Well, I'll admit that did raise some red flags at first, but I trust your judgement, Lincoln. And as long as she makes you happy and treats you well, then that's all that matters."

"Plus, you did say that she saved your life one time, so how bad can she be?" Lynn Sr. added.

Seeing the warm smiles on his parents' faces, the Loud boy started to feel a little more at ease. He glanced back towards his sisters who all gave him thumbs up, showing that they were all ready to meet this mystery demon girl that their brother was all head over heels for. This made him feel well enough to give them a genuine smile of his own. "Thanks, you guys," he said before something else came to his mind. "Oh, one more thing I should probably mention? She's... a little older than me."

"How much older?" asked Lori.

"Oh, just a... couple of years," he answered nervously.

"Everyone! Look!" Luan gasped as she pointed out the window. Everyone turned to see a hot pink convertable pull up in front of the house.

"She's here!" Lincoln exclaimed happily as he ran to the door. The family followed him outside as they got a good look at the car. It was very bright and shiny as it shimmered in the sunlight. A few of them noticed the message on the licensce plate that read 'SUCK4LYFE.' Whoever this girl was, she must've been very successful to have a car like this.

Then the front door opened and when the Louds saw who stepped out... well, shocked would be an understatement. The older sisters especially couldn't believe who of all people had just rolled up to their house. "No way!" said Lori.

"It can't be!" said Luna.

"Is that...?" said Leni.

Stepping out of the convertable with her signature pair of heart-shaped reflector sunglasses was the international musical superstar herself, Verosika Mayday. "Verosika!" Lincoln said happily as he ran up to the popstar without an ounce of hesitation.

"Hey, Linky!" she replied as she pulled up her shades and bent down to greet him with a big loving hug. She then planted a kiss on his cheek as the family continued to watch in complete disbelief. She set Lincoln back down and he turned back to his family.

"Guys, I'd like you all to meet Verosika Mayday, my girlfriend," Lincoln said as he proudly introduced his family to Verosika.

"What's up, Loud fam?!" Verosika greeted with her usual celebrity confidence and swagger. "Lincoln's told me all about you!"

Most of the family was still struggling to process this incredible revelation. The fact that their brother/son was somehow acquainted with a world famous popstar was beyond anything they had expected. And they had seen quite a bit lately. "Um... wow... I-I mean just..." Lori stuttered from being in the presence of one of her favorite music artists. "Could you excuse us for a moment?"

All of a sudden, the eldest Loud sibling grabbed her brother by the arm and pulled him away into a private conference with the rest of their family. "Lincoln! Your girlfriend is LITERALLY VEROSIKA MAYDAY?! HOW COULD YOU NOT TELL US THIS?!" she demanded with a manic stare in her eyes as she gripped him by the collar of his shirt.

"Okay, okay!" Lincoln released himself from Lori's grip as he looked around at his family's expectant faces. "Well, first of all, I didn't think you'd all believe me if I just told you. But also because I really wanted you all to meet her before you pass any judgement on her."

"Hang on. I thought you said your girlfriend was a demon," asked Lucy.

"Actually, she is a demon," Lincoln confirmed.

"So wait. You mean she's wearing a human disguise like Loona the hellhoud does?" asked Lynn.

"That's right. Verosika is actually a type of demon called a succubus."

"A sucky-what?" Leni asked confused.

"Succubus, Leni," Lisa clarified. "A demon who specializes in sexual and romantic seduction. I've been brushing up on demonology."

"Well, isn't that... interesting," Rita said, eyeing the young woman with hightened suspicion.

"Mom, I know what you're thinking, but please, give her a chance," Lincoln pleaded. Seeing the begging look in her son's eyes, the Loud mother couldn't help but relent.

"Alright, Lincoln. We'll give her a chance," she said, which everyone else agreed to.

"Thanks, Mom."

Now that that was settled, the Louds officially welcomed Verosika into their home. "You can drop your disguise now if you want, Vee. They've met demons before," Lincoln told her once they were inside.

"Alrighty." In a quick blaze, Verosika dropped her human disguise and revealed her true form to her boyfriend's family in all her magenta-skinned, pink-haired beauty.

"Whoa. Still smokin'," Luna whispered with a blush on her cheeks. She tried to shove those thoughts aside by picturing her beloved girlfriend Sam instead.

"OMG! I literally cannot believe that Verosika Mayday is literally standing in our living room right now!" Lori exclaimed.

"I know, right?! Somebody pinch me!... But, like, not really," Leni agreed.

"Vee, this is Lori and Leni," Lincoln said, introducing his two oldest sisters. "They're the ones I told you about who are huge fans of yours."

"Awesome to meet you both," Versosika said, pulling out her phone as she got up right next to the two giddy teens. She snapped a picture of herself with Lori and Leni as the three of them put on big smiles. "New Sister Selfie, ladies!" she exclaimed. Naturally, the two girls couldn't stop themselves from squealing with excitement. An occurance which Verosika was more than used to.

"And this is Luna. Not like the hellhoud I worked with back at I.M.P. She's a musician, too," Lincoln said.

"Oh yeah. Lincoln tells me your in a rock band. That is so cool," Verosika said, recalling what her boyfriend had told her about his sisters.

Incidentally, Luna was still finding herself a bit entranced by the popstar's demonic good looks. She had seen pictures of her human form before and even seen her on stage at a concert or two, but something about seeing her up close and personal in this edgy new appearance made her feel... different for some reason. Truth be told, the musical Loud girl had never really been a major fan of Verosika herself, but had come to appreciate her sound a bit more after a collab she had done with the band SMOOCH.

Eventually, she realized that the succubus was still looking at her and she hadn't said anything yet. "O-Oh! Yeah! My-My girlfriend Sam and I play in a band together called the Moon Goats," she confirmed, mostly including the part about Sam as a reminder to herself.

"I can't wait to hear you guys play sometime," said Verosika.

"Yeah. Totally." As Verosika moved on, Luna took a deep breath to steady her nerves. "I have a girlfriend... I have a girlfriend... I have a girlfriend..." she repeated to herself.

Later on, after all the introductions were complete, the family of thirteen was gathered at their dining room table enjoying a delicious home-cooked dinner with the added company of their son's celebrity demon girlfriend. Who also happened to be rather... mature, as many of them couldn't help noticing, especially the family matriarch herself Rita. The somewhat revealing outfit she was wearing didn't help to ease the mom's concerns one bit. As such, she made it a point not to take her watchful eyes off of the couple for a moment.

Even so, Verosika attempted to have a little sneaky fun with her boyfriend. She carefully raised her tail up behind him to try and wrap it around his waist. But Lola caught sight of this and took action against it. She grabbed Verosika's tail and bit down hard on it, causing the succubus to yelp out in pain. "Keep that creepy tail of yours to yourself, sister," Lola demanded as Verosika rubbed her throbbing tail.

"Why, you little..." Verosika's snarled back with an angry glare.

"Calm down, you two," Lincoln intervened, trying to keep the peace. "We're supposed to be getting along here."

"So, Verosika. How did you and Lincoln meet?" Rita asked.

"Oh, great story. So I showed up at this crappy little office building to do some freelance work for this company called Succ Inc. when suddenly, I have the incredible bad fortune to run into my shitty ex-boyfriend Blitzo," Verosika began. She recounted all of the events of her and Lincoln's first meeting, from the wager between her and Blitz, to her saving his life from the giant fish monster, to Lincoln saving her and her crew from getting arrested.

"I can't believe Blitz almost gambled Lincoln away over a parking space!" Lynn Sr. said angrily.

"I know, right?" Luan agreed. "Someone really should've pumped the brakes on that wager. Hahahahaha! Get it?" As usual, her joke caused nearly everyone present to groan in annoyance.

"I can't believe you and Blitz actually used to date," said Lynn Jr.

"But it's really cool that you saved Lincoln's life," said Lana. Even Rita had to agree with that assessment. Even so, there was something she still wanted to know.

"So why did you want Lincoln to spend the whole week with you and your crew, anyway?" asked the mother.

"Because we all thought he was really cute," answered Vee. "Well, the guys didn't think so, but the girls and I just thought he was adorbs. We just wanted to get to know him better."

"Really? A twelve-year-old boy hanging out with five promiscuous older women?"

"Mom, please!" Lincoln said, giving his mother an annoyed look.

"No, no. It's okay, Lincoln. I get where she's coming from," said Verosika. "Excuse me, I think I need to use the bathroom."

"Upstairs, down the hall to the left," Lynn directed her.

Once his girlfriend was out of the room, Lincoln turned back to his mother. "Mom, what the heck? You said you were gonna give her a chance."

"Lincoln, you are twelve years old and she must be at least twenty-five! This relationship is completely innapropriate," Rita argued.

"Well, what about Scoots and Tyler? Nobody ever says a thing about those two dating."

"That's different, son," Lynn Sr. jumped in. "Scoots and Tyler are both adults."

"Oh please. Have you even met Tyler?"

"Lincoln, enough!" Rita demanded. "That kind of thing might be acceptable in Hell, but it is most certainly NOT acceptable in this house!"

With an angry glare in his eyes, Lincoln stood up from his seat and headed towards the stairs. "Lincoln, wait! Where are you going?" Leni asked.

"Lincoln, come back!" his dad called after him as he stormed up the staircase.

They angry white-haired boy made it upstairs, only to find that the bathroom door was open with Verosika not inside. He wondered where else she could be before he noticed that his bedroom door was also open. When he went to check inside, sure enough, there she was, sitting on his bed with a sad look on her face.

"Verosika?" he said, getting her attention.

"Oh. Hi, Lincoln," she replied sadly as he joined her on the bed.

"Listen, I'm sorry about what my mom said to you down there."

"It's fine. Honestly, I can't blame her for not trusting me. Truth be told, I've never really done this before. This whole 'meeting the family' thing is pretty new for me. I never got this far with any of my exes."

"It's not your fault. My mom doesn't know you like I do."

As the succubus woman looked around Lincoln's room, she started to realize just how different they were from each other. "Maybe she's right, Lincoln. Maybe you and I are too far apart in age for us to work. I mean, who ever heard of a succubus being in a non-sexual relationship?"

"Hey, it doesn't matter what other people think of us," Lincoln said as he took her hand in his. "All that matters is how we feel about each other. I love you, Verosika."

Hearing Lincoln say those words turned Verosika's cheeks a soft shade of pink and brought a gentle smile to her lips. "Linky, you may only be twelve, but you're easily the most mature guy I've ever dated," she said, pulling him closer to her.

"I guess I had to grow up pretty fast to survive down there in Hell." Lincoln smiled as the two embraced in a hug. As they did, the heart tattoo on Verosika's right shoulder shimmered with a bright red aura.

Meanwhile, just outside the door, all of the other Louds had gathered and listened in on the couple's conversation. Hearing what they had said to each other made each of their hearts melt. At that moment, some of them started to feel a pang of guilt for how they had treated Verosika, especially Rita. Sure, her relationship with Lincoln was unconventional to say the least, but it sounded like they really did care for one another. Plus, the last thing she wanted was to lose her son again by pushing him away.

"I know you guys are listening!" Lincoln called from the other side of the door.

"Oh, sorry, bro! We just wanted to make sure you two were okay!" Lana called back.

"Honey, can we come in?!" asked Rita.

"Sure!" Lincoln answered, opening the door and allowing his family to enter.

"Lincoln, Verosika, I'm sorry for how I acted earlier," Rita began. "I can see now how much you two deeply care about each other. And if this is what you really want, Lincoln, I'll support you both."

"Me too, son," Lynn Sr. agreed.

"Really? Thanks, guys," said Lincoln as he happily embraced his parents.

"Just don't try anything funny with him while we're around, sweetheart, or you're gonna get a taste of Lola," the mini pageant princess threatened while waving a fist at the demon popstar. "Got it?!"

"Don't worry, sweetie. Just because I'm a demon, doesn't mean I don't have standards," Verosika cheekily assured her.
