My very first Monsters Inc. fic! I figured Mike would have to marry Celia at some point and, bodda-bing, bodda boom! And sorry if the box is a bit redundant. Didn't know what else Mike could hide the ring box in.

The Laugh Floor buzzed with energy as monsters zipped between doors, their laughter canisters filling up faster than ever. It had been months since the big change, and Monstropolis was running on joy instead of fear—something Mike Wazowski never got tired of bragging about.

"Alright, funny guys, keep those punchlines sharp and the pratfalls painful!" Mike called out, rolling across the floor with his usual pep. "We're powering an entire city here, people! No pressure!"

As he weaved past a few coworkers, he stole a glance at the clock. Just a few more hours, and he'd be off for the evening—off to take his soon-to-be fiancee, Celia (hopefully) on the most perfect date he had ever planned. And, if all went well, by the end of it, he wouldn't just be her boyfriend anymore.

He patted the tiny box tucked under his arm and grinned. "Tonight's the night, baby."

Later at the reception desk, Mike kept the small box carefully tucked behind his back as he strutted up to his snake-haired girlfriend. "Oh, my Schmoopsie-Poo!" he sang, flashing his biggest grin.

Celia glanced up from her paperwork, her single eye narrowing playfully as she tapped her pen against the desk. "What do you want, Googly Bear?"

Mike gasped, placing a hand over his chest. "Want? Can't a monster just shower his lovely lady with affection?" He leaned on the counter, waggling his nonexistent brows. "Besides, tonight is all about us, remember? A romantic evening, just you, me, and the finest sushi in Monstropolis."

Celia smirked. "You're actually taking me out without some last-minute catastrophe?"

"Cross my heart!" Mike declared. "No work interruptions, no Sulley busting in, no Roz lurking in the shadows—just a perfect night."

Little did she know, he had something even bigger planned.

"Let me guess… is it Harryhausen's?" Celia asked, arching a brow as her snakes perked up with interest.

Mike gasped, feigning offense. "What, do I look like some kind of predictable guy?" He huffed, then quickly backpedaled. "Okay, yes, it's Harryhausen's, but come on! It's sentimental! That place means something to us."

Celia chuckled, resting her chin in her palm. "I suppose it does. Our first date, our last interrupted date, and now this one." She tilted her head. "You sure nothing's gonna go wrong this time?"

Mike waved her off. "Please! Everything is under control. I made reservations weeks ago—no CDA, no emergencies, no chaos. Just fine dining and moonlit romance."

Celia hummed, clearly amused. "Alright, Googly Bear. You're lucky I love that place."

"Correction—you're lucky you love me," Mike said, winking. "Now, finish up, 'cause tonight's gonna be unforgettable."

And if everything went according to plan, it'd be the night he asked her the biggest question of his life.

Later, as Celia waited outside, Mike sprinted through the Laugh Floor, searching for his best friend. He needed something—*anything*—to keep the ring hidden until the perfect moment.

"Sulley! Sulley! Sulley!" Mike hollered, weaving between monsters as he rushed toward the big, furry CEO.

Sulley turned just in time to catch Mike skidding to a stop in front of him. "Whoa—what's the emergency?" he asked, raising a brow.

Mike glanced around, making sure no one was eavesdropping, then lowered his voice. "I need a place to stash this." He pulled the small ring box from behind his back and held it up. "Celia can't see it until the right time, and I can't just carry it around in my hands and hide it behind my back all night!"

Sulley smirked. "You finally gonna pop the question, huh?"

Mike grinned, puffing out his chest. "That's right! But I need a solid plan to keep it hidden. You got anything?"

Sulley rubbed his chin, glancing around the office. "Hmm… well, you could tuck it in your—"

"No pockets, remember?" Mike interrupted, crossing his arms. "I'm all eye, no pants–or clothes!"

Sulley chuckled. "True. Alright, how about this?" He grabbed a small, empty storage box from a nearby shelf. "You could hide it in here. It's the perfect size and nobody's going to think twice about you carrying a random box around."

Mike inspected the box, tapping it with his finger. "Not bad… it's simple, discreet, and I can hold it like it's part of the plan." He carefully slipped the ring box inside and shut the lid. "Perfect. Celia won't suspect a thing."

Sulley grinned. "Just make sure you don't get distracted and end up tossing it in a random drawer."

"Trust me, I'm on top of this," Mike said confidently. "This ring is staying with me until I'm ready."

With the box safely hidden, he gave Sulley a quick thumbs-up. "Alright, I'm off. The night's just getting started!"

Sulley chuckled. "Good luck, Mike. You've got this."

Mike nodded, his nerves a little steadier now. "Thanks, Sulley. Let's just hope Celia's ready for the biggest surprise of her life."

He hurried over to where Celia was waiting outside the building. As he opened the doors, she looked up at him with a smile that made his heart race.

"Took you long enough, Michael," she teased, crossing her arms and giving him that playful look she always did.

Mike grinned, trying to act casual despite his nerves. "What can I say? I like to keep you on your toes." He quickly adjusted the small box under his arm, making sure it was still safely tucked away.

Celia raised an eyebrow. "Uh-huh. I'm sure that's what it was." She smiled, the light from the streetlamps casting a warm glow on her. "So, where are we headed, huh? You've got me curious now."

"Just wait and see," Mike said, trying to sound confident. "It's going to be a night to remember."

Celia chuckled, shaking her head. "You say that every time. Well, let's go, Googly. The suspense is killing me."

With a playful nudge, she started walking, and Mike hurried to catch up, his heart racing with both excitement and the weight of what he was about to do.

Once they reached their table at Harryhausen's, Mike pulled out Celia's chair with a flourish, earning a playful eye roll from her. As she sat down, he slid into his seat across from her, making sure the ring was safely hidden in the small box beside him.

The soft glow of the restaurant's lights bathed them both in a warm, romantic atmosphere. The mood was perfect, the quiet hum of the bustling restaurant surrounding them, yet it felt like it was just the two of them in the world.

Both of them shared giggles and lighthearted chatter as they perused the menu. Mike couldn't help but feel that familiar rush of joy when they joked together—like nothing could go wrong.

"So, what's your verdict on the sushi here? You think it'll be better than last time?" Mike asked, trying to keep his tone light, though his mind was racing.

Celia grinned. "If it's anything like last time, I'll be tossing a wasabi bomb at you by the end of the meal." She paused, her eyes glinting mischievously. "But, honestly, I'm just glad I'm with you tonight. It's been a while since we've had a proper night out."

Mike smiled, his nerves settling just a bit. "I know what you mean. We deserve this. A little time to just relax… and enjoy each other's company."

Celia leaned forward slightly, her snake-hair curling in playful patterns. "You're right. And after this, you're not getting out of telling me every little detail about your day. I'm dying to know what went down at work!"

Mike laughed, a little too loud. "Oh, nothing much. Just the usual. A few laughs, a few screams…" He trailed off, hoping the box wasn't giving him away as he carefully nudged it under the table.

Celia raised an eyebrow, clearly not buying his nonchalant tone. "Uh-huh. Sure, sure." She leaned back, glancing around. "But, really, Mike, it's nice. Just us. No work, no interruptions. Just… us."

Mike's heart pounded in his chest as he met her gaze. Tonight, he would give her more than just a simple date. He would give her a memory they would share forever.

Celia sighed, her smile fading slightly as she looked down at the table. "Michael… I'm sorry."

Mike blinked, his eye widening with confusion. "What are you talking about?"

She met his gaze, her expression softening. "I… I haven't been nice to you the day after the incident here… My temper can really be a pain sometimes. And… I'm really sorry I didn't believe you when you were telling me about Randall and Waternoose. You were trying to protect everyone, and I… I doubted you."

Mike's gaze softened as he reached out, gently taking her hand in his. "Hey… it wasn't your fault. If anyone's at fault, it's me. I should've saved you from that CDA agent during that time… and the bruises, and the cone from after… I should've protected you better, Celia."

Celia shook her head, her snakes falling gently over her shoulders as her voice softened. "We were both caught in something bigger than us. But… I just needed you to know how much I appreciate you, Michael. I really do."

Mike squeezed her hand, his voice steady and full of warmth. "And I appreciate you. More than you'll ever know. We both made it through, together. And that's what matters, right?"

Celia smiled, a bit of the tension easing from her shoulders. "Yeah… together." She squeezed his hand back, their connection palpable in that quiet moment.

Mike leaned back in his seat, taking a deep breath. The weight of the conversation had left him a little shaken, but he was ready for what was coming next. "And hey… no more regrets. Tonight's about us. Just us."

Celia smiled, her eye sparkling. "Yeah. Just us."

Mike smiled back, relief washing over him. The night was still young, and his plans were just getting started.

The snake-haired monster leaned forward, her snakes swaying gently as she brushed her lips against her one-eyed boyfriend's. The kiss was quick but sweet, a quiet affirmation of everything they'd been through and everything they were to each other.

When she pulled away, she giggled softly, her eye sparkling. "I needed that," she said, her voice filled with warmth.

Mike grinned, his heart fluttering. "Yeah? I think I needed it, too." He rubbed the back of his head, feeling a little flustered but trying to play it cool. "It's been… a crazy ride, huh?"

Celia's smile softened, her hand still resting on his. "I wouldn't trade it for anything, Mike." Her gaze lingered on him for a moment, something deep and fond in her eye. "You've always been there for me, even when I didn't deserve it."

Mike's smile widened, and he leaned in slightly, his voice gentle. "And I always will be."

There was a long pause, the kind where time seemed to slow down as they shared a look that said everything words couldn't. It was the kind of moment Mike knew he'd never forget, no matter what happened next.

"So," Celia said, her voice teasing again, "are we going to talk about the real reason you're being so sweet tonight, or do I have to keep guessing?"

Mike's pulse quickened, but he managed to laugh, the nervousness creeping back. "You'll find out soon enough," he said, trying to keep the mystery intact. "But right now… let's just enjoy the night."

Celia tilted her head, her curiosity piqued, but she simply smiled and leaned back in her chair. "Alright, Michael. I'll let you keep your secrets… for now."

Just then, the waiter arrived with their plates, breaking the tension in the air. The savory scents of sushi filled the air as the plates were carefully set in front of them.

Mike's eye widened at the spread of food. "Now this is what I call a meal." He chuckled as he picked up his chopsticks. "Perfect timing, huh?"

Celia smiled, the playful spark never leaving her eye. "You always seem to know how to make an entrance, Mike. Food included."

She began picking up a piece of sushi, her snakes swaying lazily in contentment. "But you're right, this looks amazing. If the night wasn't perfect already, this sure is a good start."

Mike grinned, his focus still half on the meal and half on what was coming next. He nudged the small box under the table again, making sure it was out of sight. "I think you'll find the night gets even better from here."

Celia looked at him, puzzled for a moment, but then shrugged with a teasing smile. "Alright, I'm intrigued, Googly Bear. You've got me hooked."

As they dug into their meal, the conversation shifted between the food, casual chatter, and laughter. But all the while, Mike couldn't shake the excitement building in his chest. Tonight was the night, and everything had to go just right. Hey, that rhymed!

"You know… it's hard to believe all this time we believed in children being toxic…" Celia said, picking up another piece of sushi and chewing thoughtfully.

Mike nodded, his chopsticks halfway to his mouth. "Yeah… All that was a lie. Ever since Boo came into Sulley's life and Waternoose got arrested… everything changed." He paused, a small grin forming as he remembered the events that led them to this moment. "Now we run on laughter, not fear. It's wild to think how much we've all been through to get here."

Celia tilted her head, her snakes curling lazily as she set her chopsticks down. "Not to mention Randall… Wherever he is…"

Mike's smile faltered for a moment, his thoughts briefly drifting to their old rival. "Yeah… I wonder if he's ever gonna come back for revenge or something. But honestly, at this point, I'm more focused on us. No more distractions, no more enemies. Just you, me, and… whatever else is next."

Celia raised an eyebrow, a playful glint in her eye. "What do you mean, 'whatever else is next'?"

Mike gave a small, nervous chuckle as he fiddled with the edge of his napkin. "Well, uh… what I- what I meant was, uh… I don't know. Sometimes I get so caught up in the moment, I forget to think about the future."

Celia leaned in slightly, her curiosity piqued. "That's… unusual for you, Michael. You're usually the one planning everything."

He shrugged, trying to mask his nerves. "Yeah, I guess I'm just figuring some things out tonight."

Celia giggled, clearly amused by his shift in mood. "You're acting a little weird, but I'm not complaining. I think it's cute."

Mike glanced at her, his heart pounding again, but this time it was for an entirely different reason. "You'll see what I mean soon enough."

Once they finished, Mike let out a puff, leaning back in his chair with a satisfied sigh. "Now that was a meal."

Celia chuckled, dabbing her mouth with a napkin. "I'll admit, Michael, you really outdid yourself this time. No disasters, no interruptions… I'm impressed."

Mike grinned, though his nerves were creeping back up. "Hey, I told you—tonight's all about perfection." He glanced under the table, subtly checking that the small box was still safely tucked away.

Celia stretched slightly. "So, what's next, huh? You're being all mysterious tonight."

Mike swallowed hard, his heart pounding. "Well… I do have one more surprise." He reached under the table, fingers brushing against the box as he took a deep breath.

Celia raised an eyebrow, her playful smirk returning. "Michael, what are you up to?"

Mike took a deep breath as he gently took Celia's hand in his. His heart was racing now, his nerves threatening to get the best of him, but he forced himself to focus. This was the moment.

"Celia…" he started, his voice unusually soft. "You and I—we've been through a lot together. The good, the bad, the terrifying." He chuckled nervously. "And through it all, you've been there. You've put up with me, believed in me, and… honestly, I don't know what I'd do without you."

Celia's expression shifted, her usual teasing demeanor fading into something more tender. "Michael… what are you saying?"

Mike inhaled sharply, then, with a slightly shaky hand, pulled the small box from its hiding spot and placed it between them. He opened it slowly, revealing a beautifully crafted ring, sparkling under the restaurant's dim lights.

Celia gasped softly, her snakes squeaking in surprise as her eye widened.

Mike swallowed hard and continued. "Celia Mae, my Schmoopsie-Poo, my one and only… Will you marry me?"

Celia felt her chest tighten as she stared at the ring, her breath catching in her throat. She blinked, trying to process the enormity of the moment, but Mike's nervous gaze and the sincerity in his voice made everything fall into place.

For a moment, the restaurant seemed to fade away, the noise and chatter becoming distant echoes. It was just the two of them in that bubble of time, suspended in the excitement of what was happening.

Her hands trembled slightly as she reached out to touch the ring. "Michael..." Her voice was a mix of disbelief and pure joy. "Is this... real?"

Mike, sensing her shock, began to ramble nervously. "I know it's sudden and—"

But before he could say another word, Celia gasped and broke into a wide smile. "Yes!" she exclaimed, her eye shimmering with excitement. "Yes, I'll marry you! Of course, I will!"

The restaurant, which had been quietly observing, suddenly erupted into applause and cheers, as if the entire place had been waiting for this moment. Some monsters at nearby tables clapped, while others shouted words of encouragement.

Mike froze for a second, his eye widening. "Really? You mean it?"

"Absolutely," Celia replied, her smile widening as she leaned in and kissed him, a deep and loving kiss that sent his heart soaring.

Her snakes, unable to contain their excitement, curled forward and began peppering Mike with playful kisses all over his face. The ticklish sensation made him giggle.

Celia chuckled as she and her now fiance pulled back, gently pushing her snakes back. "Alright, girls, that's enough!"

As they pulled apart, Mike was practically glowing. He carefully slid the ring onto her thumb—since it was the only finger she had—and grinned. "You just made me the happiest monster on the planet, Celia."

Celia smirked, resting her hand on his. "I'd say the same, Michael… but I think I already was."

"I love you, Schmoopsie-Poo."

"I love you too, Googly Bear."

As they later stepped out into the cool night air, Mike still felt like he was floating. Everything had gone perfectly—better than he could've ever imagined.

Celia, still admiring the ring on her thumb, turned to him with a flirty smile. She leaned in close, her voice smooth and teasing. "Say… how about we celebrate this engagement at my place?"

Mike's eye widened, and he felt his whole body heat up as he blushed. "O-Oh! Uh—" He chuckled nervously, rubbing the back of his head. "Well, uh, I mean… I am all about celebrating…"

Celia giggled, looping her arm around his as they started walking. "Good. Because I don't plan on letting my fiancé out of my sight tonight."

Mike gulped, his knees going a little weak—but the goofy grin never left his face. "W-Well, Schmoopsie-Poo, lead the way!"

It was a pretty long walk for them, but eventually, they arrived at Celia's place. As soon as they stepped inside, Mike wasted no time flopping onto her bed, letting out a tired puff. His feet were sore from all the walking, but honestly, he didn't care—tonight had been perfect.

Celia chuckled as she stood beside the bed, looking down at him with an amused smile. "Tired already, Googly?"

Mike exhaled dramatically, stretching his arms. "Hey, planning the perfect proposal takes a lot out of a guy! Plus, these little legs don't exactly make long walks easy."

Celia smirked as she climbed onto the bed beside him, propping herself up on one elbow. "Poor thing," she teased, running her non-existent fingers lightly over his face. "Maybe I should've carried you."

The green cyclops monster let out a laugh, shaking his head. "Oh sure, that would've looked real dignified. 'Monsteropolis's newest groom-to-be gets carried home like a sack of potatoes.'"

Celia giggled, her snakes swaying playfully. "Well, I am strong, you know."

Mike turned onto his side to face her, his goofy grin softening into something more tender. "I know. And you're amazing, Celia."

Her eye locked onto his, warmth filling her chest. She gently ran a hand over his face before leaning in, pressing a slow, loving kiss to his lips.

Mike melted into it instantly with a sigh, his tiredness completely forgotten. This night really couldn't get any better.

As they broke away, Celia smirked, her eye filled with playful warmth. "Hey… why don't I help you recover from all that walking?"

Mike stretched out on the bed, still grinning. "Oh, you just got started on that, and it's working so far."

Celia chuckled. "I have another way, and it'll definitely work."

Mike sighed dramatically, sinking further into the bed. "At this point… anything will work."

Without saying another word, Celia gently lifted one of his feet into her hands and began rubbing slow, firm circles into the sore muscles.

Mike's whole body relaxed instantly as he let out a low, happy groan. "Ohhh, Schmoopsie… where have you been hiding this talent?"

Celia giggled, pressing her thumbs into just the right spots. "You never asked, Michael."

Mike's toes curled slightly at the perfect pressure. "Well, consider this me asking for regular treatments."

Celia smirked, shaking her head as she moved to his other foot, giving it the same gentle attention. "We'll see if you earn them, Googly."

Mike sighed dreamily, sinking deeper into comfort. "Oh, trust me… I'll earn them. Forever, if that's what it takes."

Celia's smile softened as she kept rubbing his feet, her touch both soothing and affectionate. "Good," she whispered. "Because you have me. Forever."

Mike chuckled as his snake-haired fiancée switched to his other foot, her hands expertly kneading away the tension. "Y'know, Schmoopsie-Poo, I think this is the first time I've actually enjoyed having sore feet."

Celia smirked, glancing up at him. "Well, don't get too used to it, Michael. This is a special engagement treat."

Mike sighed dramatically, wiggling his toes as she worked her magic. "Aw, come on, I am your future husband. Doesn't that come with lifetime foot rub privileges?"

Celia chuckled, shaking her head as she applied just the right amount of pressure. "We'll see about that."

Mike grinned, completely melting under her touch. "With hands like those, I think I just became the luckiest monster alive."

Celia's eye softened, her heart swelling at his words. "Oh, Michael," she whispered, rubbing a little slower, savoring the moment.

Mike let out a content sigh. "Yeah… this is definitely the best night of my life."

After a while, Celia finished rubbing her future husband's feet, but as she glanced up at him—his eye half-lidded in relaxation, a dopey grin on his face—an idea popped into her head. A smirk crept onto her lips as she decided to be a bit mischievous.

Without warning, she lightly ran her hands along the soles of his feet.

Mike immediately jerked, his entire body tensing. "AHAHA—HEY!" He burst into uncontrollable laughter, wiggling and kicking as Celia's fingers danced along the sensitive spots.

Celia giggled, keeping a firm grip on his ankles. "What's the matter, Googly Bear? I thought you were enjoying my hands."

"THAHAHAT'S DIFFERENT!" Mike cackled, flailing as her fingers teased his arch. "YOHOHOU KNOW I'M TIHIHICKLISH!"

"Oh, I know," Celia said slyly, her snakes swaying with amusement as they watched the scene unfold. "I just couldn't resist."

She gave one last quick tickle before finally releasing his feet. Mike immediately yanked it back, gasping for breath as he shot her a mock glare. "You… are evil."

"Come on, you know you enjoyed that," Celia teased, her voice light and mischievous as she watched Mike recover.

Mike let out a breathless laugh, still a little shaky from the tickling. "Enjoyed? Are you kidding? I'm pretty sure I just lost five years of my life."

Celia leaned in, her snakes playfully swaying around her. "Oh, don't be dramatic, Michael. You're just a big softie."

Mike rolled his eye, rubbing his foot. "A big softie? You nearly gave me a heart attack!" He paused for a moment, giving her a playful look. "But… I'll admit, you got me good."

Celia grinned, settling beside him on the bed. "Glad I could make you laugh. I'll always find a way to make you smile, Googly Bear."

Mike grinned back, leaning over to kiss her on the cheek. "Yeah, I can already tell. You're pretty good at it."

Her snakes, as if on cue, swayed contentedly, nuzzling him playfully. She raised an eyebrow, her smirk never fading. "Well, if you think that's good, just wait until I really get started."

Mike raised an eyebrow, grinning. "Oh no, what did I just sign up for?"

Celia gave him a wink. "Only the most fun night of your life, Googly."

Mike smirked, propping himself up on one elbow as he gave Celia a playful look. "How much fun?"

Celia leaned in close, her eye glinting with mischief. "Oh, so much fun, Michael," she purred, trailing a finger slowly up his arm.

Mike shivered slightly but kept his grin. "Well, now you've got my attention."

Celia chuckled, her snakes smiling playfully. "Good. Because I don't plan on letting my fiancé get bored anytime soon."

Mike's eye widened slightly at the way she said fiancé. He still wasn't used to it—but wow, did it sound amazing coming from her.

He chuckled, giving her a lopsided grin. "Well, Schmoopsie-Poo, I do love a good surprise."

Celia smirked. "Then you're in for quite the night."

They then both connected their lips in a deep, passionate kiss, their bodies instinctively drawing closer. Mike wrapped his arms around Celia, pulling her against him as he melted into the warmth of her embrace.

Celia sighed softly into the kiss, her fingers tracing gentle circles along his back while her snakes swayed happily, some even brushing lightly against Mike's face. The ticklish sensation made him chuckle against her lips, but he didn't dare pull away.

As the kiss deepened, Celia tilted her head slightly, savoring every second. Her heart swelled with the realization—this was her fiancé. The monster she loved more than anything, the one she was going to spend the rest of her life with.

Mike chuckled as he slightly pulled away. "Hey… I gotta admit… the foot tickles were actually pretty fun…"

Celia giggled, her smirk returning. "Good. 'Cause you'll be getting them every foot rub."

Mike raised an eyebrow, a playful grin spreading across his face. "Wait a minute—I thought I had to earn the rubs."

Celia shrugged, her fingers absentmindedly tracing small circles on his arm. "Well… I've actually thought that over… and I really enjoy rubbing your feet."

Mike's grin widened. "Oh? So, what you're saying is… I'm getting spoiled now?"

Celia smirked, her eye glinting with mischief. "Maybe. But only because I want to."

Mike sighed dramatically, stretching his legs. "Well, who am I to argue? Guess I'm just that lucky of a fiancé."

Celia chuckled, pressing a soft kiss to his cheek. "That you are, Michael."

Mike gave her a mock-serious look. "Just don't tell Sulley how ticklish I am. He'll never let me hear the last of it."

Celia giggled, her snakes swaying playfully. "Oh, that's tempting… but don't worry, Michael. Your secret's safe with me."

Mike let out a relieved sigh. "Good. Because if he finds out, I'll never be able to walk through Monsters, Inc. without looking over my shoulder."

Celia smirked, trailing her fingers lightly over his arm. "Well, I could use that information to my advantage…"

Mike's eye widened. "Wait—Celia, let's not get crazy here—"

She giggled, tapping his non-existent nose. "Relax, Googly Bear. I'll be nice… most of the time."

Mike groaned, flopping back onto the bed. "Great… I just proposed, and I'm already doomed."

Celia laughed, snuggling up beside him. "Oh, Michael… you love it."

He sighed, shaking his head with a smile. "Yeah, yeah… I really do."

"But right now…" Celia said flirtatiously as she glanced at her snakes on each side of her head. "Tuck away, girls. Seven's a crowd, and this moment will not be for that many people."

Her snakes let out small, playful hisses before curling back, nestling themselves comfortably out of the way.

Mike chuckled, watching them retreat. "Wow, I don't think I've ever seen them listen that fast."

Celia smirked, leaning in close. "They know when to respect the important moments."

Mike's grin softened as he wrapped his arms around her. "Well then, Schmoopsie-Poo… let's make this moment count."

With that, their lips met once again, sealing the perfect night with love, laughter, and the promise of forever.

"Mmm… I can't wait to be your wife…" Celia murmured against his lips, her voice filled with warmth and anticipation.

Mike's eye fluttered open slightly, his heart skipping a beat at her words. "And I can't wait to be your husband," he whispered back, his arms tightening around her. "Schmoopsie-Poo, we're gonna have the best life together."

Celia smiled, resting her forehead against his. "You better believe it, Googly Bear."

Mike chuckled. "Oh, I do believe it. And hey, if every night includes foot rubs and kisses, I'd say I hit the jackpot."

Celia giggled, brushing a hand over his cheek. "You did hit the jackpot. And lucky for you, it's all yours."

Mike grinned, feeling like the luckiest monster in the world. "Forever?"

Celia kissed him softly once more. "Forever."

Mike sighed happily, holding her close. "I love you, Celia…"

Celia smiled, her heart swelling as she gently caressed his cheek. "I love you too, Michael…"
