"SILENCE, EVERYONE! TAKE YOUR SEATS! CLASS WILL BEGIN IN FIVE MINUTES!"
A tall teen with bluish-black hair, glasses, and a commanding presence shouted across the room. Tenya Iida, the diligent Class 1-A president, was determined to keep order.
"Uh, Iida," Hanta Sero drawled, leaning back in his seat. "We're already sitting. You're the only one standing—again."
Realizing his mistake, Iida quickly adjusted his glasses and sat down, muttering an apology. Ochaco Uraraka, seated behind him, reassured her flustered friend.
"Don't worry about it, Iida. You're just doing your job," she said with a kind smile. "But what's this about Mr. Aizawa wanting to talk to us?"
"He stopped me in the hallway earlier," Iida explained. "There's something important he wants to discuss with the class."
The students murmured amongst themselves, speculating about the announcement. As they chatted, Momo Yaoyorozu, the class vice president, noticed an extra seat in the back that hadn't been there before. Her curiosity piqued, but she decided to wait for answers.
The door opened, and Mr. Aizawa entered with his usual nonchalant demeanor. He walked straight to the podium and addressed the class.
"I have a few announcements," he began, his tone flat yet commanding. "First, we're welcoming a new student to Class 1-A."
The room buzzed with surprise and curiosity.
The door opened again and in walked a petite girl with long dark blue hair tied into pigtails that reached her waist, her bangs framing her youthful face. Her brown eyes scanned the room nervously as she adjusted her U.A. uniform and clutched her school bag.
Stopping at the front of the class, she bowed politely and introduced herself. "Hello, my name is Wendy Marvell. It's very nice to meet you all, and I hope we can get along."
The students murmured greetings and introductions, intrigued by their new classmate.
"She was supposed to join earlier in the semester," Aizawa explained, "but her entrance was delayed due to an incident involving a villain during the exams. Today, she'll complete her entrance exam to demonstrate her quirk."
The room fell silent, listening intently.
"Instead of fighting the robots, she'll battle the first-place winner of the Sports Festival," Aizawa continued, glancing meaningfully at Katsuki Bakugo.
The spiky-haired teen with ash-blond hair and a fiery temper narrowed his red eyes, his teeth grinding audibly.
"She's just another stepping stone," Bakugo muttered his competitive edge flaring.
"And for our second announcement," Aizawa continued, "Todoroki Shoto will also face an opponent—a new transfer student joining Class 1-B."
Todoroki's heterochromatic eyes widened slightly in surprise. Two new students? He wondered about their quirks and how they'd measure up.
"Wendy, your seat is in the back, behind Momo Yaoyorozu," Aizawa instructed.
Momo turned to the girl and smiled warmly. "That's me. Come on, I'll show you where to sit." Wendy nodded and made her way to the back.
Meanwhile, in Class 1-B, Sekijiro Kan introduced his new student.
"This is Chelia Blendy," he announced as a girl with reddish hair tied into pigtails, blue eyes, and a bright demeanor entered the room. "Like Wendy, she'll take her entrance exam today. Instead of battling robots, she'll face the second-place winner of the Sports Festival, Todoroki Shoto."
Chelia nodded politely. "Thank you. It's a pleasure to meet you all."
As she made her way to her seat in the back, she felt someone staring at her. Turning her head, she caught Neito Monoma reaching out, his hand inches from her arm.
Without hesitation, Chelia grabbed his wrist, twisted his arm behind his back, and held him firmly in place.
"Ow, ow, ow!" Monoma yelped.
"Neito," Kan said sharply, his warning gaze silencing any protest. "Be glad it wasn't Kendo dealing with you."
"I was just curious!" Monoma whined, wincing. "Can you let go now?"
Chelia smiled sweetly. "What's the magic word?" she asked, twisting his arm a little more.
"Please!" he cried out, and she released him.
The class laughed as Chelia continued to her seat, where Class 1-B president Itsuka Kendo greeted her with a high five. "Nice job," Kendo said with a grin.
Lunch Break
During lunch, Wendy sat with her new classmates. Iida introduced himself as the class president and escorted her to the cafeteria, where she marveled at the size of the school and the crowd of students.
As they sat down, Izuku Midoriya hesitantly spoke up. "Um, Wendy?"
"Yes, Midoriya?" Wendy replied, looking up from her plate.
"Were you and the other new student from the same school?" he asked.
"And could you tell us a bit about your quirks?" Todoroki added, his calm voice drawing everyone's attention.
Wendy smiled. "Yes, Chelia and I came from Tokyo. Our quirks are similar, but they also have some differences."
"Similar yet different?" Iida asked, intrigued.
Before Wendy could elaborate, someone bumped into the table. Drinks wobbled precariously, but none spilled.
"Oops! Sorry, Class 1-A," came the insincere apology from none other than Neito Monoma.
As the students sighed in annoyance, Monoma grinned. "I just wanted to introduce our new star student—the one who's going to crush Todoroki later today!"
Before he could finish, a loud squeal interrupted him.
"Chelia!" Wendy exclaimed, jumping up and running to hug her friend.
"Wendy! I came to find you and meet your classmates!" Chelia said enthusiastically.
Monoma, confused, watched the exchange. "Wait, you two know each other?"
Kendo approached, arms crossed. "Were you not paying attention earlier, Monoma? Of course, they know each other."
"Well—" Monoma didn't get to finish his sentence, as Kendo knocked him out with a karate chop. She apologized to Class 1-A and left with an unconscious Monoma slung over her shoulder.
"Everyone, this is my friend Chelia," Wendy introduced, gesturing to the red-haired girl at her side.
"Nice to meet you all!" Chelia said cheerfully. Her gaze landed on Todoroki. "You must be the one I'm battling today."
Todoroki nodded, extending his hand. "Todoroki Shoto. It's a pleasure to meet you."
Chelia shook his hand. "Likewise."
"So, your quirks are wind-related?" Midoriya asked.
"Yes," Wendy confirmed, "but the differences between them...well, you'll just have to wait and see." Chelia grinned mischievously, leaving her classmates eager to learn more.
