One day in the Hotel, the former Exorcist was looking over some paperwork at the coffee table in the lobby. She placed the paper in front of Charlie's line of sight, "Okay... This is about an estimate of weapons lost in the fight."

The princess frowns with her eyes narrowing, "Yeesh... Spears, swords, chainsaws... Even an angelic shotgun!" The two look at Viola after listing the last weapon, who was watching Francis.

The smaller former Exorcist frowns at them both, "What? It's the only weapon I'm good at!"

Vaggie rubs her forehead in annoyance, "Yeah... I'm probably going to have to talk to Miss Carmine about this. Don't worry about it, babe." She turns to her old friend, "Do you want to come with me

Viola shrugs her shoulders, "Hm... I don't know. Maybe!" She then gets up from her chair, "I'll be right back actually! Forgot I have to check in on something with Angel." With that, she had left the room...

Francis speaks up from his spot on the couch, looking over his sister's shoulder, "Miss Carmine?" He has his portable console in his hands, playing what looks to be a rhythm game with colorful arrows.

The bodyguard shakes her head, "You know, Carmilla Carmine. The lady Charlie sent me to go talk to before the extermination?"

The blonde woman gestures above her body with her hand, "One of the stronger Overlords of the Pride Ring... Super tall... White hair shaped like horns..."

The boy widens his eyes once he remembers, "Oooh! Wait, I remember her!" He then relaxed back in his seat, his eyes shifting back to his rhythm game, "One time, she and her really, REALLY, tall friend came to Dad's penthouse."

Both girls stop to look at the boy with wide eyes, "Wait, what?" Lucifer turns his head upon hearing the commotion.

When the goat boy didn't answer back due to looking back at his game, Charlie slips the console from his hands.

The prince pouts when his sister took his game away, "Hey..." But he then smiles, "Yeah! They were too far away from her business building for shelter so... I let them in!"

Charlie folds her arms, "WHEN did this happen and why wasn't I aware?!"

Lucifer decides to pipe up, "Yeah, uh, me too! Actually!"

Vaggie chose not to respond but both siblings shot him the same single eyebrow raised look. Charlie in particular put her hands on her hips, "...Dad, it's YOUR penthouse."

The king waves his arms in front of himself in a dramatic fashion, "I know! That's why I wanna know!"

Francis sits up straight before waving his arms in a calming motion, "Okay, okay! Well, it happened when I was little..."

...

One day in the unpleasant red fields of Hell... Angels with black wings fly around the Pride Ring, cutting down any sinner they see. Two particular figures rush through crowds of demons to get away from the chaos around them.

The tall woman ran in front of an even taller, scrawny, man, jumping over a dolphin sinner with a spear stabbed through their chest. Seeing that he was dying anyway, she moved to give him no aid.

The taller man shifts his body into her shadow, is green eyes glowing within the silhouette. They glow brighter once he spots a tall building with a door that was ajar.

"Carmilla, try there!"

The woman spoke with a Hispanic accent while she ran, "Under normal circustances, I would not rush into what looks like an overblown building where someone seems to be compensating." She slid inside the door, her metal shoes sounding like nails on a chalkboard. She fixed her hair with a shake of her head, "But just this once..."

Now both inside the buiding, the man slipped out of her shadow to stand fully. He peers at a second door in front of them, "Hmm... It appears that there is not a soul in sight."

The mother attempts to open the door"Yet it is locked. That's suspicious, Zestial."

Zestial narrows his eyes back at the door, "Hmmm..."

They both then see the curtain suddenly move by itself, blinding them from looking further into the building.

But before the pair could do anything, they heard a voice...

...The voice of a little boy in return, "Hello?"

Carmilla simply stays still, "...Hello."

The boy questions them, "...Who are you guys? This isn't your turf."

The spider Overlord steps in front of his friend, "I am but Overlord Zestial and this is my fellow Overlord, Carmilla Carmine. May thou allow us to take shelter during this terrible time?"

They saw the curtain shift a little with the voice speaking again, "Uh... I don't know. Charlie said that I shouldn't open the door for strangers. And this is my dad's building." The curtain moved again, "And I don't know where Ophelia went..."

The mother straigtens her shoulders, "That is very responsible of your sister and honestly, I can't argue with that. But where is she now?"

The boy speaks with a hint of confusion, "She's trying to talk to dad about something... Something that started with an 'R'..." He then speaks excitedly, "Hmm... Oh! How about if I let you in, you guys can play with me! Elissa went home when her dad opened their portal so I have no one to play with!"

Upon seeing her friend nod his head behind her, Carmilla nods, "...I say we have a deal. My, what a tiny Overlord you are already."

The door then bursts open, showing a tiny boy covered mauve fur, goat legs and a tail. He has small red bumps on his head that have yet to really resemble horns, red hooves, red eyes with yellow sclera. He is wearing a purple sailor suit, a white shirt and black buttons and no shoes...

THe goat boy jumps up and down, "Hehe! Yay!" He turns and rushes away from them, "Now come on! Let's play!"

Upon seeing the boy's appearance, the same thought immediately clicked in their heads.

Zestial blinks with wide eyes, "...Did we just agree to play games with the young Prince of Hell?"

Carmilla nods back at him, "The goat legs and tail confirm it. That is indeed the little prince. Well, let us play whatever game he wishes to torture us with."

...

Only for a few minutes later, the Overlord duo were both sitting at the table. They were both cutting pieces of different colored paper and gluing them together.

Zestial looks up from the paper he was cutting, "...Quite the frightening game. Isn't it, Carmilla?"

The mother rolls her eyes, "Silence, Zestial." She looks back at the paper in front of herself, "Though, I think I would say this is more like a activity rather than a game."

Francis frowns at the two of them, "Do you not like it? We can play an actual game!"

Carmilla shrugs her shoulders, "Well... It is a part of our little deal. Isn't it, little prince?"

The prince then stands up, placing his hand over his heart, "Oh, you can just call me Francis! That's my name after all! But yeah! You're right!" He then snapped his fingers, "Dazzle! Come here, boy!"

The small, red goat flies right up to the boy with a great big smile on his face... After knocking over a few items on his way over, He tilts his head at the young member of royalty.

The Prince of Hell jumps up and down, "Tag mode please!"

Dazzle grunted in response before flying away from the group. He begins to easily lift chairs and vases, various other objects for the prince's game.

...

The two rush around the penthouse... Carmilla runs while Zestial slips through the shadows to look for the little boy.

The mother continues to run, "Where in Hell did that little boy run off to?" She frowns, "I hope he didn't hide in one of the many rooms..."

Both her eyes and Zestial whip around the room before they rushed off into the hall.

The Overlord pops out of her shadow with a frown, "His goat legs are rather small and seem to make him a bit off balance. He couldn't have gotten that far..."

Carmilla shakes her head, "You'd be surprised at how fast children can be, Zestial."

Zestial begins to slither into a different direction, "I shall try this direction." His friend simply gives him a nod...

Once she entered the next hallway, Carmilla saw the prince's tiny body holding onto the balcony... The OUTSIDE of the balcony!

Her eyes widen upon realizing what he was going to do...

And... Francis leaps off off the balcony, "Okay, wings! Fly me!" He sticks his tongue out of his mouth with a determined look. Dazzle just missing the back of his collar before trying to fly after him.

Luckily, he falls right into the older woman's hands while she slid into the room, keeping him safe and sound in her arms. Once Zestial spots them, he slithers into his friend's shadow once again.

Carmila frowns at him, "That was incredibly dangerous, young prince!" She keeps him in her arms like a toddler, "Are you trying to get yourself killed?!"

The boy immediately gave her a panicked look, "No! Oh no, Ophelia says that... I'm sorry! I just wanted to fly like my dad can..."

The woman rubs her eyebrows, "Next time, please wait for your wings to come in before leaping off buildings. You gave your poor goat a heart attack." She pat him on the head when she didn't get a response, "Can you do that for me?"

The goat prince plays with the frong of his shirt, "I can... I'm really sorry..."

The mother lets out an exhausted sigh, "It... Just don't do it again... I haven't done this sort of thing for a long, long time. Not since my daughters were but your age, actually."

Francis tilts his small head at her, "You're a mommy?"

The tall woman nods her head at him, "Yes, I am a mother to two girls."

The prince scratches his chin, "Ooooh... But wait, Charlie told me Sinners can't have kids."

Carmilla explains patiently to the boy, "That's because I had them before I died. We all died at the same time, actually."

Francis nods his head in understanding, "Oooooh! That makes a lot more sense!"

While they walk through the hall, the two begin to look at pictures along the left wall.

Francis spots a tall painting of his father with his cane, "That's my dad! You know, the king."

Carmilla simply blinks at the painting, "I see! He is... Quite the short monarch, isn't he?"

The prince gasps, "Whaaaaat? What are you talking about? He's plenty tall!"

The mother shakes her head, "That's because you are only six years old. You will grow when you get older, most likely even taller than your father due to your mother." She looked up at a nearby painting that depicted Lilith holding a much younger Charlie, "I know this is the lost Queen."

Her eyes found their way to the boy when she didn't get a response.

Francis frowns, playing his his fingers nervously, "...I miss her a lot..." He grabbed the front of his shirt until it made a little ball in his hand, "And sometimes, when I feel really sad about her, my chest hurts..."

The tall woman adjusts him in her hold, "...That is completely normal."

The goat boy blinks back at her, "Is it?"

Carmilla nods her head, "Yes, you miss her and you're hurting. Who wouldn't miss their mother?" She gives him a pat on the back, "You will be okay. It will take some time."

Zestial interrupts the two, slipping out of his friend's shadow, "And who knows! Maybe thou mother will return one day!"

Francis then starts to smile, "...You know what, yeah... Maybe!" He then started to stretch his small body with a big yawn, "Maybe she will... One day..."

Carmilla smiles before adjusting her grip again, "It seems that you are tired now..." She then places the boy on a plush chair with a small smile.

The boy sits on the biggest chair in the room and he yawns once he makes contact with the pillow. He looks towards the window, his little tail wagging.

The mother gives him a smile, "Would you like for me to open the curtain?"

Francis jumps up and down in his chair, "Yeah! Yeah, yeah, yeah!"

She whispers to her friend, "He's definitely at the stage where he's struggling to stay awake now."

All three of them hold their eyes upwards, seeing what looks to be a singluar yellow firework shot in the air. It explodes into a million golden fireworks into the red sky. Brighting up the room for a few seconds while they watched the display in the sky! Which makes the prince's tail wag even harder...

...And makes him immediately go to sleep once the light show was done. He curls up on his own little body to keep himself warm...

Carmi"Goodnight and have the most pleasant dreams, young prince... Maybe we will meet again in the future..."

And with that... The two made their way out of the penthouse, leaving the prince to nap on the chair. Until he was found by Ophelia soon enough.

...

Back in reality, both father and daughter nod at Francis when he finishes his story. Their dad rubs his chin in thought while the princess rubs her temple.

Charlie smiles with her eyes widening, "Ooooh, I remember that! Yeah, that firework was me!"

Francis tilts his head at her, "Whaaaaaat? Really?"

His older sister nods her head, "Yeah! It was after I talked to Dad about using the hotel to redeem sinners. At the time, the hotel was used by Mom and Dad but it was basically abandoned at that point."

The prince snaps his finger at her, "Oh yeah! Like the penthouse!" He then turns to the king, "Wow, Dad, you sure have a lot of buildings you don't use."

Both siblings turn to look at their father... Lucifer had his finger at his mouth a raised eyebrow.

His eyes widen, "OOOOOOH! I thought it was some sort of new phenomenon in the sky."

Charlie raises an eyebrow at him, "Really, Dad?"

Lucifer nods his head, "Yeah! I thought it was like... You know, the Northern Lights?"

Francis simply blinks at his dad, "...Yeah, that sounds like a thought you would have." He then turns to his sister, "Besides, Charlie, you don't remember me telling you about meeting Ms. Carmilla and Mr. Zestial?" He smiles upon remembering something, "I even drew a picture of them when I was little! Don't you remember, Charlie?"

Charlie's eyes widen in surprise, "Oh THAT'S what you drew! I honestly thought you made an imaginary friend."

The goat boy shrugs his shoulders, "I guess that's fair. But Oldie was my imaginary friend!"

The princess tilts her head at her little brother, "...Oldie?"

The prince uses his fingers and blows a whistle, "Yeah!" The blue manticore from the battle, now mini sized, jumps up at the boy and he lifts him up to show his sister, "See, Oldie!"

The blonde woman remembers her brother's childhood toy, "Oooooh, the keychain!" She then scratches her chin, "But why Oldie?"

Francis nods his head while holding his new pet, "Yup! Well, you know... Razzle and Dazzle... Give 'em the ol' razzle dazzle!"

Charlie lets out a laugh, "...Haha, that's clever!"

Her little brother laughs back at her, "Hehe, thank you!" He then gives her a bit of a curious smile, "Hey, Charlie... Do you think you can..."

His older sister smiles knowingly at him, "Yes, yes I can..."

Without another word, the girl opens the window to shoot a few golden fireworks into the sky from her fingertips... Allowing several yellow lights to flicker in the dark red sky.

Much to the joy of both her dad and her brother...

Francis felt himself fall to the floor when Oldie jumped onto him... He smiles while his new pet began to lick his face, having the brightest smile in the room...

...

Meanwhile... Both Carmilla and Zestial see the fire works within the woman's office full of windows. Both smile from inside the Carmine office building... Thinking back on the memory fondly...
