Here we go with the first chapter of a story that I've been working on for some time now. Ever since I began this series, I knew this is where my story series would eventually go towards. Oh sure, I could have gone with Rebels or even Mandalorian, but nope. I chose this timeline, because this is a timeline where it has divided a lot of people.

Now, this is set during the events of Episode VII: The Force Awakens. However, there will be a lot of changes made from this to the final episode. So, I will make sure to go down a better route than the one we ended up getting. Also need to make sure it works with adding Godzilla and the other monsters.

Now, there will be some familiar characters thrown in from the previous stories, but also some new ones. If you have any questions about them, don't hesitate to ask. Also, this is set 34 years after the Battle of Yavin and 30 years after Return of the Jedi. So, around 34 ABY (After the Battle of Yavin).

This is also 36 years after the events of my Kong story. So, by this time, Kong should be the age needed for his upcoming battle. I know technically in the Monsterverse, it took 51 years for Kong to reach the same height as Godzilla, but going to expand it a little bit. So, I'm cheating.

Anyways, how will it all go? Will it go way better than how Disney did it with the sequels? Will we see more monster fights? And how will it all work in the Star Wars universe?

Tune in to find out.

Also, Happy New Year to all! I hope everyone is ready for the new year. I know 2024 was not great, especially near the end. But let's try to make it through this year together. And ensure it all goes well without any more shit…hopefully.

Now, time for the disclaimer. I don't own anything owned by Disney except the OCs of my friend. Also, again I'm doing this for my friend who can no longer work on my projects.

Enjoy the chapter everyone.

Prologue

In the beginning…

There was nothing but darkness.

Nothing but pure darkness. The only sound that could be heard is a heartbeat. It was a steady and calm beat that echoed all around in the darkness.

He doesn't know how long he's been in the darkness or why he was here. He just knew he had to wait. But why? Why does he need to wait?

Suddenly, he felt the area around him beginning to shift. Followed by the sounds of loud muffled roars, yelling, and screaming. It all terrified him. It made him feel only fear as his surroundings began moving more violently.

Shifting him around in the darkness as the sounds got louder until finally, he saw a light. A bright light, which began pushing him towards it. Towards this light, where the sounds that terrified him could be heard. He had no choice though.

He couldn't stop himself from being pushed towards the light. Before he knew it, he emerged out of the darkness and into a world of pure violence.

Looking over he saw a large, furred ape fighting these large reptilian monsters. He was fighting with all his might, while letting out a loud roar, and the monsters letting out a loud screeching roar. This ape though, he didn't know why, but when his eyes locked on to this ape, he instantly saw him as his father. His father, towering over these creatures, was fighting against them.

He was covered in cuts, bite marks, and was bleeding. He didn't understand what was happening and why these things were attacking his father. He didn't have time to process this as he suddenly felt a large arm appear and wrap around his body. Looking up, he found himself being held by who he knew right away was his mother.

She looked tired, covered in cuts, and bleeding. He did not cry, nor did he fuss. He only looked up at his mother, happy to see her, despite what was happening. He saw her smiling while moving her fingers along her child's head. However, that smile only lasted for a moment, before she saw the fight before her turning against them.

Having no time to hold her child any longer, she begins going towards a small opening into a cave. She begins moving her child into the cave, while the child looked on confused. He had just met his mother and father, but before he had a chance to be with them, he was put in this hole. His mother looked down, with some bit of tears in her eyes, as she rubbed his face one last time, before covering much of the hole with rocks.

Despite blocking the entrance, the young child could still see what was happening. Before he knew it, those monsters that attacked his father soon came for his mother. He watched as his parents tried to fight them off, but in the end. They were overwhelmed and the poor child watched on in horror as these monsters killed his parents.

His eyes watching as these monsters tore his parents apart and was powerless to do anything about it. His eyes though began to shift. His eyes began to shift up towards a large-winged monster with three heads. Their eyes looking down towards the young ape child as he his eyes locked on to their own.

The monster's body begins to glow from his belly before moving up to their three longnecks and their eyes begin to glow brightly. The monsters opened their mouths and fired three yellow lightning blasts towards him, before everything turned to darkness once more.

Present

Kong's eyes soon opened as he jumped up from his sleep. The large ape Titan begins panting heavily as he felt his body panicking and shaking from what had just happened. Looking around, he soon saw where he was at. In his makeshift cave home, which he had built over the last 30 years. Moving towards the entrance to his cave, he saw the sunlight and sighed in relief.

It was just a dream…a nightmare…a very bad memory. One that he knew will always stick with him as long as he lives, but this time it felt different. He remembered every bit of it. He remembered being born, his mother, his father, the monsters that killed them, and walking out of the cave crying over their bodies. It was something he will never forget, especially the rage.

His cries and wails soon turned to one of anger and rage. He would never forgive those monsters for what they took from him and vowed to make sure they never harmed another living soul again. And since then? He has kept that promise.

Kong has grown. He has grown to around 340 feet tall. His fur has changed colors too, becoming darker, growing a bit of a beard, and looked stronger. Stronger than his parents and any of his past ancestors…at least as far as he knows.

To the point he has been able to kill more of these Skullcrawlers without any difficulties like when he was young. Kong even had no trouble killing the adult sized ones, which used to be a challenge for him. Kong has even exterminated much of their population, making it difficult for them to be a threat to the planet anymore. Kong has truly shown he has the alpha of the planet, and no creature has been able to challenge his dominance.

But the dream he had felt different. He knew there was no large three-headed monster. He knew it never even existed in his world and has never seen anything like it before. So…why did it appear in his dream?

What did it mean? And why did he feel so much darkness flowing from it.

Kong could hear his stomach begin to growl, causing him to snap out of his thinking. He'll worry about this dream later. Right now? He has some hunting to do.

Kong walked along his jungled world as he headed towards the waterfall. He walked along the path that he had made for himself as the adult ape Titan walked over to get a drink. He begins kneeling down and begins taking big slurps of water, finding it much fresher than normal. His attention though turned to the small deer creatures coming by to drink water too.

They had nothing to fear from Kong, who they recognize as their protector and feel safe around him. Kong knew this and knew many of the herbivore creatures all feel safe around him.

Kong appreciated this as it showed he made a difference on his planet. His attention turned towards the water and began seeing what he was looking forward to. Moving his large right hand down, he begins grabbing his breakfast. A large crab, which tried to fight back with its mandible claws, but Kong held on tight, despite the claws pinching him.

They didn't hurt and his thick-furred muscles protected him from any injuries to the claws. Kong grabbed the crab with both hands and moved down to take a big bite of the crab. His jaws pierced through the shell and allowed him to rip half of it off. The small pieces begin to fall as the deer begin moving away from what was happening.

Kong chewed with his mouth open as more small pieces fell out. But Kong kept on eating and enjoyed every minute of it. He swallows the bits in his mouth and goes in for another bite. He would keep this going until he was done. He had some of the legs and claws left, so he set them back in the water, allowing the fish to eat the remains.

Kong made sure nothing he ate went to waste.

Kong soon goes over to the waterfall and begins washing himself. Making sure he washed his body after sleeping in the dirt. As Kong did this, his attention turned to the bright sun suddenly getting bright for a second. This caused Kong to stop washing and looked up before the sun went back to normal.

Kong knew something was suspicious and didn't like it. Moving his left hand up to block the sun, Kong tries to assess what is happening. As he did this, he noticed something was indeed off and it made him mad.

While all this was going on, a young pre-teen girl with short black hair, brown eyes, & tan skin could be seen working on something. Next to the young girl stood by the young man in his early 20s with black hair, blue eyes, and tan skinned.

The young man watched as the girl is seen putting on the last touch of her work. She's seen picking a little flower from a small flower patch and turned to the young man.

She moved her right hand up and used sign-language to communicate with him. The young man smiled softly and nods in response. "I think it looks perfect," he replied.

The young girl gave a small thank you hand-sign before she felt the ground shake beneath them. The two soon begin to turn to the source of the ground shaking and begin running off. Running through the jungle as they head towards an open clearing. As soon as they emerged, they began to slow down and look up to see the source of the ground shaking, which was Kong.

Kong is seen ripping a large tree from the ground and appears to be removing the branches, along with the roots. He looked up at the sky and growled softly, before his eyes looked down to see the young man and girl. Kong placed the weapon down and began to kneel in front of them.

The young man didn't look concerned as Kong lowered himself to face the two. He stood by as the young girl began walking up to Kong. She lifts up what she was making so Kong could see it. It was a wooden ape doll, which clearly looked hand-made.

Kong gave a small snort when he saw the doll, which blew into the girl's face, making her laugh. The young man chuckled when he saw this as Kong appeared to like the doll. A small smile formed on the ape who seemed to appreciate what the young girl made. Before his attention turned to the sun when it flickered over him.

Kong's demeaner soon changed to a more serious expression before he picked up the tree, he pulled out from the ground earlier. The young man saw this and quickly runs over to grab the girl before pulling her away. Kong takes aim and throws the tree into the sky. Sending it flying as the tree spins towards the sky, until it hits the sky itself.

However, the sky, as it turned out to be not actually a sky at all. But a large projection screen panel that had begun to flicker all around as the force of the tree hitting one of the panels affected the others.

Upon seeing this, Kong lets out a loud angry roar as he realizes he's been placed in some sort of cage. One that has bound the ape Titan within this fake jungle as Kong begins pounding his chest and roaring once more.

Outside of the said cage, it's revealed to be a large dome. One that covered a quarter of Skull Planet, which is being bombarded by a powerful storm. Heavy winds blowing many of the trees around the dome facility, heavy rain hitting the facility sideways, lightning strikes scattering around, and loud thunders roaring all around the planet.

Inside the facility in what appears to be the control room, there are dozens of people working on their computers assessing the damage that Kong has created. All while trying to find a way to fix it. The one running the control room is a man in his mid-50s with long black hair, short beard, blue eyes, tanned skin, and wearing a robe as he observed what was happening. He sighed softly as he crossed his arms and saw the people in the room working on fixing the mess Kong has made.

"I hate to be the one to say I told you so, but…who am I kidding, I love saying it…" turning around, the older man sees the young man from inside the facility speaking to him in hologram form. "I told you so, father."

The older man chuckled softly at what his daughter has said and couldn't help but nod in agreement. "You did say that, yep. You're very like your mother, Kanan. Just be careful not to gloat too much like her, okay?"

"I'll be fine, dad…oh whoops, sorry. Master Bridger. I forgot you want those close to you to call you by your title while at work," said Kanan, revealed to be the son of Ezra Bridger, former Jedi Padawan of Kanan Jarrus and current Jedi Master on the Council of the New Jedi Order.

Kanan was named after his father's former master, which he was honored to take. Kanan heard stories about the adventures his parents underwent and what their family did to protect the galaxy. He hopes to live up to their legacy and their sacrifice. While trying to avoid getting killed.

"Not when it comes to family, but I appreciate it," said Ezra as he begins assessing the damage his team has provided for him. "I had hoped this dome would have fooled Kong a little bit longer. Doctor Serizawa is not going to like this at all."

"No, he won't, but he should have seen this coming. I know I did," said Kanan as he hears Kong's roars continued in the background. "Kong was fine with letting us set up a base here and had put his trust in us to respect his rule. Us putting him in this dome not only was going to piss him off but was going to lead to a lot of damages."

"We had no choice, Kanan," said Ezra as he showed how bad the storm has gotten outside. "This storm system has gotten worse. Ever since that fight with the First Order, we've been trying to find a solution in protecting Kong and much of the inhabitants of the planet."

Ezra then begins showing a hologram of a bomb that a TIE-Fighter had dropped during the battle against the First Order ships six months ago. The bomb detonated, which began causing the storm system that once protected Skull Planet's only mainland against it. The bomb somehow caused the storm to get out of control, grow stronger, and become more violent. To the point they barely had time to put this dome up and save as many of the animals as possible.

Even saving the Iwi…or as much of them as they could. Sadly, half of the population were killed in the storm and when the Skullcrawlers began attacking them when their walls came down. Kong saved as many as he could, but this still didn't stop half of the Iwi from dying. Ezra at least managed to bring them in the dome but kept them in a safe place that was closely resembling their old home.

"This dome was the only solution we could think of. I mean, other than getting him off-world to a new one," but Ezra knew the council of Monarch would never go along with it.

"Dad, there's a reason why it was shot down. General Yamagata warned that each world has their own Titan Alpha ruling over it. If another alpha shows up, a fight would break out, which would result in Godzilla going there to stop the fighting," Kanan replied knowing that was the last thing they want for Kong to deal with. "And from what you found while on Peridea…I don't want them to get into a fight."

"I don't want that either, *sighed* but we're running out of options," Ezra saw the damage to the dome was only 20%. Nothing too serious, but he knew Kong will keep at this till it breaks. "Still, you don't think the king can defend himself. Even with us backing him up?"

"I do," said Kanan as he turned to the young girl who looked concerned. "But Mira and I believe there has to be another way to keep Kong safe."

Ezra sighed as he crossed his arms and turned to his daughter, Mira. Named after his mother. She was born deaf, but despite this, she was able to learn sign-language, which allowed them to communicate with one another. Despite her disability, they still love their daughter and are thankful she had adjusted well.

"I'm afraid with the First Order still out there, hunting down Titans like him, I don't think that's going to be possible," said Ezra who knew Kong wasn't safe on his world and needs to find a new one. "I'll keep talking to the council and see what their solutions are, but you have to prepare yourselves. War is coming and when it does…we can only hope Kong and Godzilla can put aside their ancestral bad blood and save the galaxy."

*Godzilla vs. Kong Opening credit theme*

Images begin to appear showing different cave drawings of different monsters of all sizes. Some small and others large. Some reptilian, amphibian, insectoids, and sea-like creatures. While others appearing more mammal like.

"Finding the origin of these creatures, is essential to our survival," spoke a woman's voice as images of ancient Titans could be seen, along with footages of different bases that are monitoring them. "To better understand them and to try co-existing with them."

The images soon showed different cave drawings of different Titans. One of a large moth-like creature being worshipped by small humans. Another two large bird-like reptile creatures. Flying over the ruins of a destroyed city, that appeared on fire.

"The interior of these worlds is made up of large caverns and air-pockets. Joined by natural avenues," spoke an older sounding man as images of what appeared to be a large ape and creature with spikes on his back, fighting one another.

The images soon showed documents, which many of the words redacted, except for the name of the file: Hollow Earth Theory.

"The admiral has begun his expedition. Searching for an entrance to this hidden world," said the voice of an older woman as images of people in armored suits preparing to go into a large cavern. "The purpose is for the discovery and release to the galaxy of the unknown treasures deep beneath our worlds. In the interest of all life."

"Members of the lost party have completely vanished. Still no word of what happened," said the voice of an older man as pictures of the missing people are seen with 'Unsolved' written over their images.

"There's an ecosystem out there the likes of which we can't imagine. And the place to find them, is on this planet," another voice spoke showing the images of planets like Heiwa, Skull Planet, Coruscant, Lothal, and other worlds that show to house large number of Titans.

The images soon showed footage of Godzilla himself, attacking and fighting a Titan. Using his Atomic Breath, as he shot it from his mouth down the mouth of the creature. While showing the different abilities, strength, and power of Godzilla.

The image soon turned to footage of Kong himself, attacking and fighting the "Big One" Skullcrawler. Killing it and ripping its organs out from its mouth. While showing the different abilities, strength, and power of Kong.

The footage soon showed the different Titans the two Alphas have defeated. Before the images show the two different locations of where the two Alpha Titans live on.

Star Wars: Godzilla vs. Kong - Kings of the Monsters

That's the end of the chapter and not a very long chapter, but I feel a good introduction to what I've been working on. This is just a taste though. I promise the next chapter will be longer. But yeah, there we go.

It's a little bit like the opener of Godzilla vs. Kong. However, with some slight differences. Yes, in the series Ahsoka, Ezra and Sabine appeared to be more like siblings than actual love interests. I decided not to go down that route and instead have them together. Mainly because I was one of those people who shipped those two dorks.

Also, yes, they have two kids. The oldest, named after Kanan and the youngest, named after Ezra's mother. In this timeline, there is a Jedi Council formed, and wasn't wiped out when Ben turned evil. Now, yes, he still does turn, but in the comics, they showed other surviving Jedi coming out of hiding to join Luke's new Jedi Order, so in this version, it's the same.

With Ezra becoming a Jedi Master himself and being a member of the Council. While making some changes to the rules. As to avoid the same mistakes the old council made. Don't want that to happen again.

For those who read the Kong story, Ezra has a bond with Kong. So, it makes sense Ezra would be there on Skull Planet with his kids, who too have formed a bond with Kong. Where is Sabine? Alive, but off-world on other stuff.

Also, the cause of the storm was the First Order's doings and like Ezra said, they're aware of the Titans. How will things go four heroes? Will they be able to prevent them from using the Titans as a weapon? And stop whatever they're up to?

Tune in next time to find out. Thank you all for reading and I'll see you all next time. Please leave some reviews and subscribe to the story. Take good care and see you for the next chapter, bye.
