First official chapter for you!

I raced after her litter mates. It was their first time out the nursery and they were of to explore. I wanted to see the high ledge, the fresh kill pile the apprentice den and the camp entrance. I began dawdling behind my littermates smelling all the new scents and seeing all the new things.

" Come on slowpoke Doeleap said we can't leave you behind!" called Strawberrykit.

" I wanna check out the fresh kill pile but we need to wait for you!" Yowled Cherrykit.

" Ok I'm coming." Dragonkit meowed.

The kits ran past a weird smelling den. " Hey lets see what's in here!" I meowed eagerly. the we walked in." Wow!" the they gasped. The den walls were lined with strange plants and spider webs and berries. We began exploring the den. There was a pile of nettles soaking in a small pool at one end the den. There were four nests on the floor, they were lined with soft moss and feathers and we spent a long time bouncing on them.

"Lets play dare," Cherrykit said " I have a good one." We ran over to her eyes big with anticipation. "Ok I dare you two to eat some of those leaves!" she gestured to some small dark green leaves in a little hole in the wall. "Only If you do It." Strawberrykit complained. Cherrykit rolled her eyes "Fine!". We all took a leaf off the neat pile in the little hole. " Ready go." Cherrykit meowed. We chewed the bitter leaves then forced them down our throats.

Strawberrykit looked queasy as she wandered round the den meowing softly to herself and Cherrykit looked quite unwell too. Soon enough poor Strawberrykit brought up the contents of her stomach. " Haha can't handle a few bitter lea-agh my tummy" Cherrykit wailed miserably before throwing up the contents of her stomach too. " Hahaha looks like you both can't handle a few bitter leaves." I jeered. That's when I started feeling unwell. I began running around the den as my throat tightened. Yarrowtree walked in the moment I couldn't take it anymore I stopped running." uuuurrrrgggg." I moaned as I vomited up everything in my tummy. On Yarrowtree. I still fell ill. I had had a big drink of milk before i came out so I wouldn't get hungry whilst exploring. " What in Starclan's name is going on here!" yowled Yarrowtree. She bent down to sniff me. That's when the rest of my meal came back up. " Dragonkit are you ok you threw up just then and now on my face. Wait you've all been sick, what is happening kits?"

We all looked at each other but Cherrykit cracked. " We ate those leaves then we threw up everywhere we are so sorry." To my surprise Yarrowtree laughed " what you ate was Yarrow, I give it to cat to make them throw up. Promise me kits that you will never come in and play hear again." "We promise." we chorused "Are you gonna tell Doeleap?" I asked nervously. " I'm afraid so little kit. You need some kind of punishment."

We sadly trailed after Yarrowtree and watched her tell Doeleap and Moonstar what we had done. " Right kits. As punishment for playing in the medicine den you all have to do the elders ticks tomorrow." Moonstar meowed. " But-" Cherrykit began. " No buts" " Cherrykit if we ask we might get a story." I meowed trying to comfort her. " Oh yeh good point"

After a day of playing we went back to the nursery for bed. " You kits better be up bright and early tomorrow for the elders. from what I've heard Somberpath doesn't do stories after sunhigh.
