Months had passed since the events in the Bogon Galaxy and the Ratchet Family was living day by day while also enjoying the production of Secret Agent Clank. Right now, Ratchet and Clank were playing a board game, Ben and Hilda were just spending time snuggling with each other, Ema and Angela were enjoying a scientific conversation, and the Mane 6 were just channel surfing while also doing their own thing.

"Haha! My Blargian Snagglebeast devours your mutant swamp fly." Ratchet taunted Clank after making a move on their game. "Oh yeah! I bet you didn't see that one coming!"

Clank rolled his eyes before eliminating the Blargian Snagglebeast from the board, much to Ratchet's confusion.

"Check and mate."

"What?! That's cheating!"

"On the contrary, the rules clearly state that the Blargian Snagglebeast has an allergic reaction to swamp flies that lasts two turns." Clank clarified.

"Which is why I don't play with Clank. His supercomputer brain has all the rules down pat." Ben chuckled as Hilda stroked his head while resting it against her chest.

"Oooh! It's on! It's on!" Pinkie excitedly said as everyone quickly looked at the holo-TV to see the latest episode of Secret Agent Clank was playing.

12:31 AM

At a casino, Agent Clank was rolling the dice at a craps table, rolling the right numbers and scoring big winnings. On the opposite end of the table was a large yellow robot in a red business suit who looked like some crime boss.

"Your luck is extraordinary, sir. But do you lose as gracefully as you win?" The crime bot asked while dusting ash from his cigar.

"I would not know, MAXIMILLIAN" Clank replied, emphasizing the name. "I never lose."

"Zere is a first time for everything." Maximillian began before pushing a big red button dramatically. "AGENT CLANK!"

Ninja bots armed with double-beam sabers dropped from the ceiling as the civilians scattered. Maximilian drew a laser gun and started shooting at Clank, who performed a few ninja flips before using a drink tray to deflect the laser fire into the ninja bots in bullet time. However, one of the ninja bots' beam sabers cut the tray in half as it flew from its grip.

"You lose!" Maximilian proclaimed eagerly as Clank prepared for a new defense, his eyes sweeping around for a weapon. "So much for the famous Secret Agent-"

Maximilian's rant was cut off as the ceiling tile directly above him dropped downward, dropping the chandelier on him and electrocuting him into unconsciousness.

"Shocking," Clank quipped.

"How many times have I saved you?" Hilda's character, White Rhino, said as she strutted up in a snug form-fitting dress with heavy boots and silk gloves while carrying a smoking pistol.

"I don't know because I think I had it under control." Clank joked back.

"Well, with this guy out of the way, Rarita's father can come home." White Rhino then turned and walked away, blowing on some dice before tossing them on the craps table, which scored winning numbers. "Tell that cute detective who's been on my case that I look forward to our next rendezvous."

Clank chuckled. "I'll be sure to send him a postcard."

Clank then headed outside the casino as Ratchet's character, Jeeves, came in with the hovercar.

"Pull the car around, Jeeves. And mind the ejector seat this time."

Jeeves rolled his eyes before suddenly getting an alert on the phone, which he showed Clank. Turns out, it was from Ben's character, Detective Valentine.

"Agent Clank! Sparks is at it again! Apparently, Lord Micron has bought a suspiciously large plot of land. Care to see what he's cooking up?"

"I'm on my way. Good eye, Detective." Clank thanked. "And do be sure to let Sparks know it's past her bedtime."

"But that's where all the fun stuff happens!" Twilight's character whined on a secure channel.

"Stay tuned for more Secret Agent Clank!" The TV announcer said. "Up next; Micron's Collider!"

"That was terrific!" Clank praised.

"And Ratchet being a supporting character keeps him out of the limelight just enough," Angela noted.

"Still, I'd say he looks rather dashing as a butler." Ema pointed out with a giggle.

"I wonder what else is on!" Pinkie said as she began channel surfing again.

Suddenly, the TV buzzed as an incoming call from none other than Mr. Fizzwidget came on.

"Ratchet! Clank! Angela! And present company! I have some bad news coming in from the Solana Galaxy!"

The channel then switched automatically to the galactic news, revealing Veldin was under attack and Darla Gratch was on the scene.

"We continue our live coverage from Veldin. Just hours ago, the planet was attacked without warning by a terrifying alien race known as the Tyhrranoids. Officials believe that an evil robotic supervillain known as Dr. Nefarious is the mastermind behind the Tyhrranoid attack. As you can see, the Galactic Rangers are putting up a valiant fight, but they are no match for these tentacle-eyed terrors. Indeed, this backwater planet may be completely destroyed in a matter of hours. Darla Gratch, Channel 64 News."

"Grim..." Ratchet whispered.

"Mom..." Hilda gasped silently.

"Mom, Dad...!" Ben said as he stood up.

At first, the three were surprised by this piece of news, then outraged that their home and families were under attack. Clank and the Mane 6 shared in their anger while Ema and Angela narrowed their eyes.

"WE'RE GOING HOME."

As they worked on Ratchet's new ship. much more streamlined and built for interstellar and intergalactic flight, Clank expressed his concerns with the plan of action.

"But Veldin is in the Solana Galaxy!"

With a grin, Ratchet pulled out something he'd been working on with Angela. Ever since the Female Lombax had retired from Megacorp to live with the family, she and Ratchet had started going steady after realizing how much they had in common.

"Oh, no! Not the gravimetric warp drive." Ema gasped.

"The untested gravimetric warp drive?" Twilight added.

"The one you built from Blarghian scrap metal?" Clank fretted.

"You guys coming?" Ratchet asked.

Ben chuckled. "Wouldn't miss it for the world!"

"Heck yeah!" Hilda grinned. "Let's save home!"

"We are doomed..." Clank muttered.

"This is gonna be so cool!" Rainbow said. "I CALL SHOTGUN!"

The gravimetric warp drive functioned flawlessly, getting them back to Solana in minutes.

"Woo hoo!" Ratchet yelled out as the ship spun in an aileron roll towards Veldin. "You were saying?"

"I stand corrected," Clank grunted from his upside-down position in his seat.

"Even monkeys fall from trees," Twilight pointed out with a groan. "I didn't want this to be your fall, Daddy."

"Well, we're coming into Veldin now! Hang on!" Ratchet aimed the ship into the atmosphere.

"I just hope we're not too late," Ben muttered as he and Hilda held each other's hands.

"Get ready, we might be under some heavy fire," Angela warned.

Once on Veldin, the gang encountered some green-armored robotic soldiers.

"These must be the Galactic Rangers!" Clank pointed out.

"Hey look!" one of the Rangers said, pointing to Ratchet. "It's a new sergeant!"

"What?" Ratchet asked, surprised.

"Here Sarge, you can have my gun," the second said quickly, throwing Ratchet a Shock Blaster.

"There's too many of them!" the third shouted. "We're all gonna die!"

"Awww man, I really wish we could have gotten Brax Lectrus or Cora Verulux..." Rainbow moaned in disappointment.

"Don't worry, sirs, we'll keep you safe." Fluttershy reassured the Galactic Ranger troopers.

"But we can't have civilians in this warzone! Especially not children!"

Twilight smirked. "Don't worry, we're not ordinary children."

Ratchet led the way, taking the role of Sergeant assigned to him without issue as everyone else followed behind. Angela had passed out the weapons she, Ratchet, Ben, and Hilda had been using during the Bogon adventure to the Mane 6. Twilight got the Heavy Bouncer, Pinkie got the Mini-Nuke, Rainbow got the Blitz Cannon, Fluttershy got the Sheepinator, Rarity got the Vaporizer, and Applejack got the Megarocket Cannon. As for Angela, she readied the Heavy Lancer and Plasma Storm.

The Tyhrranoids were revealed to be green-skinned aliens with three eyes on stalks, ranging in size from the size of the Mane 6, Ema, and Clank to as big, or bigger, than the Rangers, some in battle suits.

"These Megacorp weapons sure pack a wallop!" Applejack noted after blowing up some of the Tyhrranoids.

"We better not rely on them too much. These guys seem way tougher than the enemies we fought in Bogon." Hilda said.

They eventually approached a large attack jet piloted by a larger Tyrrhanoid, keeping two Galactic Rangers pinned down with its weapon fire.

"Boy am I glad to see you, Sarge!" the first said. "We're pinned down by that enemy vehicle. Somebody's gotta take it out."

"I'll do it!" Rainbow smirked as she zoomed forward and zipped around the vehicle, blasting it from all over the place with her Blitz Cannon until it was destroyed. "Awwww yeah! Nobody messes with Dashie!"

"Wow! Is she with you, Sarge?" the second ranger asked.

Ratchet chuckled. "Yup. She's more than qualified."

"Here, take this!" the first ranger said, tossing Rainbow a Nitro Launcher. "We'll cover you.. from back there!"

"These guys seem...highly ineffective. Just who was saving the galaxy before we came along?" Twilight asked.

"Captain Qwark." Ratchet, Hilda, and Ben casually replied.

"Ah."

After clearing their way through several more waves of Tyrrhanoid attack troops and assisting several Ranger groups the trio approached a dropship.

"What's the situation?" Ratchet asked the nearest Ranger.

"The Noids have fallen back to a base in F-Sector. We have orders to go in and take them out."

"F-Sector?" the second Ranger demanded fearfully. "Game over! No way man! We're all gonna end up as scrap metal!"

"Get back in there, trooper!" Ben barked. "We've got a planet to save!"

"Sir, yes, sir!"

"Wow, who knew Papa Ben had military guts too!" Pinkie noted as everyone boarded the ship.

"Hey, it was part of the training Megacorp gave us."

At F-Sector, Ratchet leaped out to free fall along with the Galactic Rangers, counting on Clank's Heli-Pack to slow him down once they reached ground level. Hilda did the same with Ema using the Thruster Pack while Fluttershy clung to Ben's back and used all her strength to slow his descent with her wings.

Pinkie just took out a parachute made of balloons, having also provided extra to the Galactic Rangers, Angela, and Applejack while Rarity used her magic to create a crystalized umbrella to slow her descent.

As for Twilight and Rainbow, the two wanted to show off a bit more by folding their wings and diving before picking up speed and taking out the new N60 Storm pistols from Gadgetron to shoot down the missiles that were being fired at everyone still free-falling.

"BOMBS AWAY!" Pinkie cackled as she used the old Bomb Glove to drop explosives from where she was landing.

"Thanks, sweetie!" Hilda praised her daughter as a path was cleared for everyone else.

While Twilight joined everyone on the ground to take out the rest of the Noids, Rainbow kept in the air, doing bombing raids while also tricking the nearby ships into shooting each other down trying to hit her.

"Yee-Haw! Ride 'em, cowboy!" Applejack cheered as she kicked a large stone into a Noid assault jet, flattening it under the heavy volume of earth.

"Man, you guys are amazing!" Angela said after shooting down one last Noid trooper.

"Ratchet!"

Ratchet, Ben, and Hilda all smiled in relief when they saw Grim and their parents coming in, having taken shelter when the attack hit. Hilda ran to her mom and hugged her tightly while Ben embraced both his parents. Grim put a fatherly hand on Ratchet's shoulder with a proud smile.

"Good to see you still in shape, kid."

"And glad to know you're okay, Grim." Ratchet smiled back. "Also, this is Angela."

Angela awkwardly waved, much to Grim's surprise at seeing another Lombax besides Ratchet. However, one of the Galactic Ranger troopers came over with a transmission.

"Sir, we have a transmission from the President!"

The transmission displayed an older male Cazar, a felinoid race somewhat similar to Lombaxes but native to the Solana Galaxy. He had tan skin, a thick dark brown coat covering most of his facial features, and an easy smile.

"How are things on the front line, soldier?" he asked but then gasped. "Is...is that Secret Agent Clank?"

Ratchet and Ben rolled their eyes in amusement while Hilda, Ema, and the Mane 6 giggled.

"I take it he's not very bright?" Angela guessed.

Grim shrugged. "Eh, he's a nice enough guy. Problem is that while he does a lot of good, he's a bit naive to how the galaxy as a whole works."

"I believe he's done a good enough job." Hilda's Mom said.

"Greetings, sir," Clank offered to the President. "We are here to help."

"Well, this is an honor!" The President replied. "And I see your trusty majordomo is by your side. And so is that lovely lady friend of his."

"Yup! And so are Detective Valentine and White Rhino, ready to save the day." Ben added in, deciding to play along.

"Oh my! And if it ain't Lil' Sparks and her friends!" The President said once he noticed the Mane 6. "Now what are you little angels doing on the field of battle?"

"Adventure is out there, sir!" Rainbow proudly said. "And we love adventure!"

"Ah, so much spunk!" The President smiled good-naturedly before turning to Clank, Ben, and Hilda. "Agent Clank, Detective Valentine, White Rhino, we must stop Dr. Nefarious! As you may know, only one man has ever faced him and survived. I've just received a top-secret report on that man's whereabouts. Here, take a look."

The President then showed a recorded preview of "Nature's Mysteries", everyone listening in closely.

"On tonight's episode of Nature's Mysteries, we examine the Florana Tree Beast. Deep in the dense growth of Florana's Jamboo Forest lives a mysterious creature. Or maybe he doesn't. It's...one of Nature's Mysteries!"

"I seen him run right through our camping site." A native of Florana named Joe said. "He was buck naked, screamin', and holdin' a banana. Or maybe it weren't a banana. It could be-"

"-ONE OF NATURE'S MYSTERIES!" The announcer cut off before Joe could get to the gruesome details. "Legend tells that this mysterious creature is actually one of the greatest superheroes who ever lived. Shamed by his recent past, he is now one of Nature's Mysteries! Tune in and find out the answers."

"So...we're going to Florana to find this guy?" Twilight asked with uncertainty in her voice.

"I guess so," Ratchet allowed.

"We won't let you down, Mr. President!" Clank assured Phyronix.

"Are we sure we need to find this guy?" Angela asked skeptically. "He looked like..."

"Captain Qwark?" Ben cut off dryly. "Who else has a body shape like that?"

"I wonder what he's been doing since the Bogon Incident..." Ema hummed.

"We'll just have to head to Florana and see for ourselves." Hilda said.

Fluttershy frowned. "You think he's okay? He was really hurt last time..."

"He's a big guy, he's probably alright now." Rainbow reassured her sister.

"Oh dear, while the forests are indeed beautiful, I am not looking forward to any bugs getting in my hair." Rarity grunted.

"Awww, quit yer bellyachin', Rares." Applejack said.

"Alright! Adventure #3! We're rocking this!" Pinkie cheered.

With that, after making sure their families were alright, the heroes returned to their ship, setting course for Planet Florana.

And so begins the Up Your Arsenal Arc! It's time for the trilogy to come in full clutch! The battle with Dr. Nefarious begins now!
