The Story of Jinjing 3 by VampireGirlFan1

Summary: Jinjing is determined to help Po stop Kai from collecting every Kung Fu masters chi and intent on destroying Oogway's legacy. She's learning about her newfound ability to see the future. One day, an offer comes to Jinjing to teach at the Phoenix Blaze Academy, which she's torn between leaving her family and friends behind and following her dreams.

This is my fifth Kung Fu Panda FanFiction story. Like my previous stories, I really hope that this one goes well.

Please read my previous Kung Fu Panda FanFiction stories before you read this.

The Story of Jinjing series will be ordered chronologically. You can look at it on my profile.

If you read the last chapter of The Story of Jinjing 2, Jinjing has the ability to see the future, like Oogway saw Tai Lung's return in my first story.

We will explore more about her power in the story as it goes along.

I don't own Kung Fu Panda. DreamWorks does. I only own Jinjing, Dongmei, Longwei, Yue, and this story.

I watched Kung Fu Panda 4 on Vudu with my family. It was so good. I love it.

Rated K for violence.

Here's Chapter 1. Enjoy!

Chapter 1

At night, Jinjing sits in her room in meditation, surrounded by candles. "Inner peace... Inner peace," The female red panda takes deep breaths. She opened her eyes. They're glowing blue, including her crystal jade necklace. Jinjing gasped.

FLASH! A green aura is seen beyond Oogway's statue. Then, a green explosion appeared at a farm. The bull tossed his blade. He approached the scared farmers. The duck farmer lets out an egg out of extreme fear.

"What is this place?" the bull questioned.

"Aaah… my brother's… farm?" the bunny farmer hesitantly answered.

"Ah, if I were to step on you, would you die?"

"Y-yes," the bunny farmer replied as the duck farmer released more eggs.

The bull looks at a turtle jade pendant. "The Mortal Realm. You hear that, Oogway? Kai has RETURNED!"

Later, Kai tosses the jade pendants on the ground. They materialize into masters covered in jade. "Find Oogway's students and bring them to me," he instructed them. The enslaved masters split into multiple directions. "By the time I'm done with them, Oogway, there will be no one left who will even remember your name," he manically laughed. "KAI IS COMING!" the green aura reappears in the sky. FLASH!

Her eyes are back to crystal blue. Jinjing panted heavily. This is the 7th night that I keep having visions of Kai. What happened to Oogway and every master in the Spirit Realm? Why are they green? Is my father one of them? I have so many questions. She thought.

She uses her kung fu to blow out the candles, quietly opens the doors without waking the others, and then tiptoes out of the student barracks. Jinjing made her way to the peach tree and sat down. The female red panda looks up at the stars. "Mom, Dad, why do I keep having these visions and what do they mean? Please tell me,"

The female red panda heard footsteps coming her way. She readied herself in a kung fu position, with her dual swords in her hands. As she was prepared to attack whoever was coming her way. "Jinjing, what are you doing up so late?" A calm but concerned voice said. She flicked her ears, just to be sure.

"I could ask you the same question, Uncle Shifu,"

Jinjing put her swords away as Shifu approached her. "You have been out here in the middle of the night 7 times now. What's going on?"

The female red panda sighed. "I have been having visions,"

"When did they start?" he questioned.

"The visions started after we came back from visiting Mom and Dad's graves from when we returned from Gongmen City to defeat that foul, loathsome, evil peacock," Jinjing answered as she sat down on the ground and Shifu sat next to her.

"What did you see in your visions?"

"Something is going to happen, whatever those things are [1]. They're coming here. I know you think I'm crazy, but maybe I am. I'm turning into Oogway,"

Shifu puts a paw on her shoulder. "You're not going crazy, you just somehow have the ability to see the future. Jinjing, do you remember when Oogway told us that he saw a vision of Tai Lung's return?"

She shuddered at the memory of Tai Lung. "Yeah. You said that's impossible. My visions are impossible. There hasn't been any threat since, well, you know who [2],"

"Nothing is impossible," Shifu quoted the old, but wise turtle.

"I know that I didn't tell you about this. The only reason why I didn't tell you and the others is because I thought that you'd be mad. I'm sorry,"

"Jinjing, you don't need to apologize, and I could never be mad at you. Anyway, you need to go back to bed, it's late,"

The female red panda whined. "Do I have to, Uncle Shifu?"

"Yes, you have to," Shifu mocked her.

Jinjing gives her uncle puppy dog eyes. "Can I stay up a little longer?"

"No," her uncle responded.

"Please,"

"No," he repeated.

"Please,"

"No,"

"Pretty please?"

"Yes,"

"Really?" She gasps.

"No,"

"Eh, worth a shot," Jinjing started to leave but stopped, and turned to her uncle. "Thanks for listening, Uncle Shifu. I wish that I knew how I got precognition, I do. I want to find answers,"

"You're welcome. I know you do want the answers. But not tonight, you can try to find them another time. Now, off to bed,"

"Okay, good night,"

"Good night,"

The female red panda went back to her room, quietly. Then, she took out a piece of parchment and a brush. She began to write what she had seen in her vision. When she finished, Jinjing rolled up the parchment and put it in her bag. She stared at the portrait of her parents. "I miss you, Mom and Dad."

Jinjing finally fell asleep.

1) "My army! Koopas. Goombas. Whatever those things are." - Bowser from The Super Mario Bros Movie (2023). Jack Black (b. 1969) played Bowser in this movie. He's outstanding!
2) I'm not talking about Lord Voldemort from Harry Potter.
