Hi, I edited this story on 05/04/2024 so it may sound a little different. It used to be the lunch scenario but now I have decided on joining it up. There is still Karmi x Hiro in it though ( one of my favourite ships after Lumity .). Enjoy !

SFIT cafeteria

All of the Big Hero 6 gang were relaxing in the cafeteria. It was a crisp winter morning and a white blanket covered the majestic garden outside SFIT. In just a few days the Christmas holidays would start. The cafeteria was buzzing with the noise of students trying to get lunch. A suspicious green gilled monster with burning orange eyes walked over to a table. He quickly tilted his costume's head. Fred leaned over the table and his mascot head dangled from his neck. "Does everyone know how to snap?" Fred asked. Wasabi nearly fell of his chair wobbling and Hiro looked from the blue kitty cupcake Aunt Cass had made.

"Sure ,but how do you play?" Honey Lemon replied as she clapped her hands quietly next to her lap.

"Me and Gogo played this all the time from when we were in secondary school together." Wasabi stated as he looked over his shoulder to Gogo and squinted his eyes. " The competition begins." he said in a low tone.

"Just don't loose like you did when you were 16. "said Gogo with a dried-up tone and kicked her legs up. Shuffling the cards Fred grinned.

Karmi walked over and squinted her eyes when she walked past. "Playing cards,is so basic. I need to carry on writing my fan fic where Captin Cutie ki—" Hiro leaned in and covered his hands over her mouth. His face went red "Hiro you have a fast rate of blood coming to your cheeks. People do this went there..." Hiro quickly rushed over to Baymax and slapped his hands around Baymax's screen which was already showing a cartoon face which looked red.

"Okay Baymax! Karmi stop writing fanfic about someone loving you went they obviously don't love you." Hiro stated as his voice went up an octave. He quickly touched his throat and concentrated on getting his voice back to normal. Karmi snickered.

"Yeesh Hiro you just don't have any emotions. " Karmi stated as she flicked her ponytail.

"Hey, Bio buddy why don't you play with us."Honey Lemon asked. Karmi declined but sat down next do her. Hiro and Karmi glared at each other while the others started to play.

"Wasabi your turn" Fred said as he placed his card down on to the table with a large noise.

"So, I've gotten an internship with Liv," Karmi showed off. Hiro quickly thought of something snarky to say.

"Well, I have better qualities than you," Hiro replied as he fidgeted with his fingers. Karmi's eyes squinted from the comment he had made. She though that what she had said would turn him off.

"Snap!" Honey lemon said as her eyes gleemed. They both turned to her direction and Hiro let out a smile. Gogo and Wasabi turned to each other and they both had their mouths wide open with shock. Wasabi stuttered from embaresment.

Karmi sighed and her eyes became dull. Baymax noticed.

"Karmi are you alright?" Hiro asked. The girl nodded and all the attention went to her .She never had true friends before as she skipped a few grades with how intelligent she was for her age. The gang turned to each other and tried to loose eye contact with Karmi to make her not feel bad. Hiro decided to break the sad mood and quickly scribbled on a scrap of piece paper.

"Here," Hiro said as he passed the paper, "It has my phone number on it. Professor Granville told me to give it to you."

Her eyebrows went up in shock and tried to look disgusted but was really gratefully. It really took her by surprise and she felt like she was doing somersaults in the air.

"It will ring to me as well if you need any support ," Baymax said

"Thanks but I don't need it,"Karmi muttered in a sarcastic turned around, grabbed her notebooks and left. Sweat already started to come on her face.

Wasabi turned to Hiro. "Tadashi always looked out for his friends." he said as he helped tidy up the cards.

"But she's not my friend. Although that's what Tadashi would have done." Hiro whispered as he let out a harsh chuckle.

Karmi's SFIT Lab

Karmi's lab was painted with white walls and a table layed out on the sides of the room. She leaned over her table. "His phone number. He gave me his phone number, experiment 103." Karmi expressed as she walked around back and forth. Experiment 103 was in a petri dish with yeast that was about to be incubated. She kept clicking her pen with her phone on the other hand. She opened her phone and it gleamed 17:00. "He should be home by now in the Lucky Cat Cafe." Her eyes shifted and kept pondering on the thought.

Hiro's room

Hiro kept tapping his keyboard and looked up on his computer screen. Baymax stayed in his charging box and played around with a red yo yo. "Hiro you are nearly finished." Baymax responded. "I am now. Mrs Granville decided to give our class extra homework." Hiro replied as he turned his chair around to him. He was very proud with finishing his homework. "You normally procrastinate." Baymax shot the robot an annoyed look. "I hope Aunt Cass didn't hear that or I would be getting an extra chore." Hiro jokingly replied as he stretched his arms. Baymax blinked from his answer.

Aunt Cass walked up to his room and smiled at them. "I heard that Hiro." she said and gave a little chuckle. " You heard!" Hiro moaned as he held out his hand as he leaned back in his chair. She passed him a piece of paper. Hiro gave a little nod. "Brushing Mochi? Not that bad." he said as he looked to the side and saw Mochi crawling up the stairs. "Meow." Hiro smiled at the calico and patted his lap. Mochi jumped up onto his lap. Aunt Cass gave him a brush and said, "Baymax don't waddle downstairs to get a water bottle for Hiro it's here." Baymax nodded and she left.

A phone ringing could be heard and Baymax's screen showed a brunette-haired girl. "Karmi! Hiro exclaimed as he jumped out of his chair and accidently pressed the accept button. Mochi quickly rushed out of Hiro lap and glared at Hiro.

"Sorry Mochi" Hiro apologised.

"Yes Karmi, Hiro." Baymax stayed as he put his finger up.

"Hi Hiro" Karmi waved

"Oh hi, Karmi what up?" Hiro said as he placed his arms under his shoulders and grinned.

"I wanted to say thank you for giving me your phone number!"

"Oh um no problem." Hiro said as he grapped his water bottle and started to drink.

"I wanted to ask you for help." Karmi said as she lost eye contact.

"I help you! "Hiro exclaimed as he quickly gulped his water and threw his water bottle to his bed.

"Yeesh don't let it get to your head. "Karmi said sarcastically as she stopped clicking her pen. Hiro mummed. "I wanted your help for writing my next Big Hero 6 fan fiction. You look like Captain Cutie just the dumber version. "She rolled her eyes.

His eyebrows went up and he toppled over. "Ow!"

"Please rate your pain from 1 to 10." Baymax said as he waddled over. Hiro made a zero shape with his hands.

"I don't look like Captain whatever his name is," Hiro said as his voice cracked while his face went red, "But sure."

Karmi blinked from what she saw and quickly cleared her throat. "Thanks. I need to go."

"Oh okay."

"Bye"

"Bye". Baymax screen turned off.

A "You have a girlfriend?" she exclaimed. Hiro gasped from shock as he swissled his chair around. Infront of him stood Aunt Cass wearing an apron ,cooking gloob falling from her spatula and her eyes wide open with excitement.

"No! Just a friend ...whose a girl." Hiro said this although he said the second part quietly.

I decided on joining this story and another one I had in my mind. I will try and update this regulary. Also how do I join this story to the Karmi x Hiro community because I have no idea. :)
