CHAPTER 17
The announcement went out that Prince Lorasen, of the Elven Kingdom and Lady Sarah, Champion of the Labyrinth, are to be wed and a coronation in one month from that day. The invitations were sent out to all of the Elven Kingdom court and the royal courts of the Highland, Fairy, Unicorn, Pixie, Goblin, Dwarven, Ogre, Centaur and all of The Seelie Court.
Arlan read the announcement and invitation and was happy for his beautiful friend Sarah, but a little forlorn that she didn't fall in love with him. He would have loved to have such a smart and kindhearted lady as a wife.
Jareth was beside himself that he would never find another girl like her and how he had made such a disaster of his life by his own impulsive actions and emotional anger. All hope was dashed to the ground.
—--
Sarah was on cloud nine the day her wedding came. It had been confirmed by the healer and Gaia that she was pregnant with twins. Gaia said they were a boy and girl. Sarah asked if Gaia would look over her prodigy no matter whatever happens in the future. Sarah told Gaia that as her friend she would be like a godmother to her babies. Gaia was flattered and completely surprised that Sarah thought so much of her. All the others before her treated her like an entity or an elemental, never as a personal friend. The Labyrinth was amazed at her Champion's thoughtfulness towards her. She promised to always watch over them. it made Sarah happy and Gaia felt it coming from Sarah in all honesty, affection and emotion.
—--
It was an unprecedented event that the Labyrinth Champion, an ex-human fae, would become the Elven Princess and future Elven Queen. The royals in court were calling for her to undergo a full elf transformation. The Elven King Palloren refused to allow any tampering with Sarah being she was with child and it was not her choice or his son's choice. He said her bravery and several magic's would be blended into their future prodigy and strengthen the royal bloodlines.
So the first blending of the fae and elven bloodlines took place up on the wedding, coronation and birth of the first elf/fae children of the Underground.
