[Aspertia City Gym: Jimmy, Sarah and Sabrina]
Jimmy did his gym training for raising his Newly Caught Pokémon, a Beautifly, named Sticky.
Beautifly, or Sticky, was a black-colored, butterfly-like Pokémon. She had the black slanted point extended on her head and a grayish face with a black proboscis. She had large, dark blue eyes, and her face was light grayish in color. Sticky's body also had grayish, stubby, fingerless limbs with a white, egg-shaped underside/abdomen. Her wings were very large and colorful with yellow, blue and red spots. The lower part of the wings have pointed horns and long extensions.
Ever since training a Wurmple, even so afraid of it, made it quite hard to do. Even so, she always made Jimmy scream in fear every time he saw it. Until he slowly warmed up to her the minute Silcoon was present.
He tried training Sticky more, and so, had mastered the potential of the Butterfly-like Pokémon. And it didn't take long before Sticky eventually became a Beautifly.

"Wurmple, the Worm Pokémon. Uncommon Rarity. Bug Type. Often targeted by bird Pokémon, it desperately resists by releasing poison from its tail spikes. Using the spikes on its rear end, Wurmple peels the bark off trees and feeds on the sap that oozes out. This Pokémon's feet are tipped with suction pads that allow it to cling to glass without slipping."
"Silcoon, the Cocoon Pokémon and a Branched Evolve Form of Wurmple. A Rare Rarity. Bug Type. It wraps silk around the branches of a tree. Silcoon were thought to endure hunger and not consume anything before its evolution, but no. It's already known that it drinks rainwater on its silk while awaiting evolution."
"Beautifly, the Butterfly Pokémon and the evolved Form of Silcoon. A Super Rare Rarity. Part Bug and Part Flying Type. Despite its looks, it is aggressive. It jabs with its long, thin mouth if disturbed while collecting pollen. Beautifly's favorite food is the sweet pollen of flowers. If you want to see this Pokémon, just leave a potted flower by an open window. Beautifly is sure to come looking for pollen."
And despite all this, Sticky remained loyal to Jimmy regardless of outcomes. Jimmy even warmed up to the techniques of using this Pokémon. However, even if Jimmy didn't like scary bugs, Butterflies were the exception. And sometimes, even Bug Pokémon can be useful. As Jimmy studied throughout Floccesy Ranch, Grass Pokémon can do almost nothing to Sticky. You see, Grass is hardly effective against Bug, Flying, Fire, Steel, Poison and Grass Type Pokémon. Having two of these basically means your Pokémon is a living weed whacker. Jimmy also found out that Sticky has two ways of exterminating Bug and Grass Pokémon. And although, to some, it might have made Jimmy much happier, he slowly warmed up to Bugs in an instant. He finds Venipede and Sewaddle ticklish as he would plan to catch his own, but as of now, he had no more Pokéballs as he and Sarah used them all on some new Pokémon. And they're fresh out of money, but luckily the Hotels were cool enough to let them stay.
However, breaking the spirit of Jimmy and Sarah, Sabrina had classes to go to, which they parted ways. For now, they're accompanied by three other trainers who were paid for this mission. Meet Kyle and Vada.
Vada and Kyle are the ages of Jimmy and Sarah. Vada was a light skin girl who had long curly blonde hair, she also wore a black and white striped shirt with a blue jean skirt. She also wore some pink boots with White leggings.
Kyle was a dark skin boy who had long hair but tied into a ponytail with one hairband, he also wore an orange shirt with a Pink and Red Lemonade sign on it. (To adults, it's Caribbean Rum.) He also had Green Military Shorts that were not camo edited and some red sneakers as Eddy. To Sarah, these two also were the weirdest options to place for her, despite the fact their kids. While Vada lived in Lemonbrook, Kyle was an Afro-Alolan Native, so Pokémon is his specialty in all corners, though he has nothing to channel his energy to, he gets hyperactive most of the time.
As of now, Jimmy and Sarah wished to challenge Jake of Aspertia City's Gym.
"Well then, shall we get started?" Asked Jake.
"J-Just like that?!" Asked Jimmy, feeling surprised as his heart started pounding faster.
"Well, yeah. Do you want me to give me a speech?" Asked Jake.
"It's… just… it's my first Gym Battle…" said Jimmy, shyly.
"Hey, it's my first Gym Battle, too." Said Jake with a reassuring grin.
"It is?!" Jimmy and Sarah asked with a slight shock.
"Yeah, today is my official day of being a Gym Leader in action. Of course, you could've gotten the Basic Badge anywhere else, but you chose here… why?" Asked Jake.
Sarah blushed. Jimmy, Kyle and Vada all looked at Sarah in utter confusion.
"Um, Sarah?" Asked Jimmy, "What was the reason we landed again?"
"To… catch my dumb brother and his stupid friends by surprise of course!" Sarah hid the truth as much as she could.
"Lie detector go… BING!" Yuna beeped, humanly.
"Uh oh, when Yuna sounds like that, she can obviously tell it's a lie." Jake smiled with slight awkwardness coming from Yuna.
"Jake, the secret to girls is sacred." Said Yuna.
"Oh…kay… I guess I'll leave it like that…" said Jake looking away from Yuna.
"Pay 300 Pokédollars to hide your secret for 30 seconds." Said Yuna.
"IN YOUR DREAMS, FREAK!" Sarah blasted out screaming.
"She needed to use the restroom but Skyla had to go." Said Yuna, so smugly.
"EW!!" Jake's crew cringed.
"Why you little-!" Sarah tried attacking Yuna, but two arms sprung from Yuna's back as she made a forcefield made out of electricity that not only zapped Sarah, but launched her back.
"Looks like scientists do thrive over here." Said Kyle.
"Who's a pretty meme girl?" Asked Vada, teasing Yuna.
"Tomato Emoji," said Yuna, hiding her face.
"So are we battling or not?" Asked Jake.
"Well, I guess while I'm here…" Jimmy loaded a Pokéball.
"Good, Stay in this corner, while I go to the other side." Jake smiled as he and his friends began walking to the other side.
"Oh dear…" Jimmy bit his nails.

[Striaton City Gym: Nazz, Jonny, Dan and Amanda]
As for changing outfits. Dan found somebody who was willing to go on a Pokémon Adventure with them, even though the maximum they could go is three trainers. Although Four was never bad, they could honestly use some extra hands.
Dan changed clothes to a Cobalt Scarf, a Cobalt vest with a Black shirt, blue jeans, blue shoes and a customized cobalt backpack.
The new trainer? A Dark Skinned Girl with a red and white hat, a red and white vest with a black shirt that stretched by the chest. She also had a red and white scrunchie tying her hair up with a ponytail. She also had red sneakers and spandex shorts. Normally, it's still cold, but now, it's summer, which means everything is warmer, or perhaps, beach weather. The girl's name? Amanda.
Dan, was finishing up the battle as he was introduced with the three brothers of the Striaton City Gym.
"Welcome. This is Striaton City's Pokémon Gym." Cilan greeted the four.
Chili walks out from behind Cilan. "I'm the fire-type freak, Chili!"
Cress walks out from behind Cilan. "I'm the water-user, Cress. Pleased to make your acquaintance."
"As for me…" Cilan replied. "Call me Cilan, with a preference for grass-types."
"Nice to meet you!" Said Jonny as he listened to his plank of wood with a drawn face to it, Plank, as he would name him. "Plank says you guys are the best gourmet kings he's ever encountered!"
"If that was the piece of wood complimenting, then I agree. Because I believe two to six others from your neighborhood foretold us about you." Said Cress. "These six have eaten their meals like if it was their last, either that, or they just have never had any good food, or at the least, any take out."
"I had my fair share, it's just hard to get any service down in Peach Creek…" Nazz sighed as she shook her head.
"Well then, who shall be challenging us?" Asked Cilan.
"I believe I'll be the start of this match." Said Dan.
"Hey! Is there one for each of us?!" Asked Jonny, joyfully.
"Um, well… You may ask why there are three of us…" Chilan explained.
"Well! Lemme explain!" Chili explained energetically, "We are three! And the type of the Pokémon you first chose decides who you fight!"
"That's right." Cress nodded. "And the first partner you picked was a grass-type."
Chili stepped up. "TA-DA!! The Fire-Type Scorcher Chili- That's me- Will be your opponent!"
"Well then? Go get 'em, champ!" Jonny smiled as he, Nazz and Amanda left to their seats to see the view.
"YEEEEOOOWWW!" "Time to play with FIRE!! I'm the strongest of the three brothers!" Chili loaded a Pokéball.
"Strongest, eh?" Asked Dan. "We'll see who will be the last one standing…"
Guido appeared onto the Referee square and announced the battle. "The Battle between Striaton City's Fire-Type Gym Leader, Chili, and Peach Creek's Danny, will soon commence! Each challenger has up to 4 Pokémon to battle! Switching is allowed! No substitutes after the first 4 Pokémon have already been summoned! Items are allowed! The winner will be declared after their Opponent's 4 Pokémon have been knocked out! Select your Pokémon!"
Chili smirked. "As of now, let's go with Lillipup! Let's fry them up!"
Chili summons his Puppy Pokémon to battle.
"(Arf! Arf! Time to bite;)" the Puppy Pokémon barked.
"Well now, you haven't failed me then, and you could never fail me now… Corona! Let's go!" Danny summoned his Scyther.
"(Alright! Who wants a good haircut?!)" Corona slashed her scythes outwards.
"(You may be a bug, but out here, we fry them for dinner!)" Lillipup barked.
"(Do you eat them as much as one of my best moves for Pokémon like you?!)" Corona taunted as she placed one scythe forward.
"(Maybe not by me, but my friends will make you wish your mom was still alive to feed you a leaf!)" Lillipup taunted back, holding his position.

[Aspertia City Gym: Jake Vs Jimmy]
As Jake got onto the ramp and onto the dock, Jimmy loaded a Pokéball. And so did Jake.
Guido appeared right by the Referee Square and announced the battle. "The battle between Aspertia City's New Gym Leader, Jake, and Peach Creek's Jimmy, is about to begin! Each challenger has up to 4 Pokémon to battle! Switching is allowed! No substitutes after the first 4 Pokémon have already been summoned! Items are allowed! The winner will be declared after their Opponent's 4 Pokémon have been knocked out! Select your Pokémon!"
"Well then, squirt! If you won't go first, then I will! Come on out, Pidove!" Jake summoned his first Gym Pokémon, and she appears to be a small, gray, plump pigeon-like Pokémon with elliptical yellow eyes. She had two wide black stripes on both of her wings. She had a light gray belly and breast, the lighter patch shaped like a heart. She also had a tuft of three feathers atop her head.
"A… bird?' asked Sarah as Kyle used his Pokédex to scan the Pokémon.
"Pidove, the Tiny Pigeon Pokémon. A Normal/Flying Type, Common-Rarity Pokémon. These Pokémon live in cities. They are accustomed to people. Flocks often gather in parks and plazas. Each follows its Trainer's orders as best it can, but they sometimes fail to understand complicated commands."
"A… bird?" Asked Jimmy. "Well, I'll show you mine… NOT BECAUSE OF THE FACT I'M ALMOST ELEVEN, AND I DON'T WANT THE RATINGS TO ESCALATE TO A 'T'! I want to show you my Pokémon…"
"Kid, we all know it's a Pokémon. Why would it be something else?" Asked Jake.
"Oh, it's because… Oh nothing…" Jimmy blushed.
"Go on, squirt! Shoot the ball!" Jake ordered.
"Okay… Sheriff! Go!" Jimmy tossed his Pokéball and out came a black and white Pokémon with a black "horn" on his head. He had one white feather just like his pre-evolution and the other two were black. He had a white splotch on his chest and face. He also had an orange beak and three toed orange feet but the tip of his beak was black.
"THAT IS HIS BIRD?!" Trixie was shocked.
"Yo, Jake! This kid has a bigger bird than you!" Fresh taunted Jake.
"Well, there's always time for everything…" Jake was concerned about where Jimmy found this Pokémon.
Jimmy looked at Yuna as she blushed.
"I… trained… Sheriff… H-He glowed and he suddenly became this…" Jimmy replied.
Sarah scrolled through the Pokédex and showed the Gym Team and her Team of what happened to Jimmy's Pokémon.
"He was this Pokémon when Jimmy found him. They used to call him, Starly." Sarah replied.
Starly are small bird-like Pokémon with a similar appearance to other bird Pokémon such as Pidgey, Taillow and Pidove. It has a small round body which is mainly brown-gray in color with white blotches on its face, chest and a single white feather on its tail while the others are black. There is a small feather located on the back of its head that curls up similar to its evolved forms, though less dramatic. It also has orange feet and an orange beak. If a Starly is Shiny it is light brown.
"Starly, the Starling Pokémon. A Normal/Flying Type, Common-Rarity Pokémon. Usually with a large flock, it is barely noticeable when alone. Its cries are very strident. Because they are weak individually, they form groups. However, they bicker if the group grows too big.
"And now he's this." Jimmy points his Pokédex to Sheriff.
"Staravia, the Starling Pokémon. A Normal/Flying Type, Super Rare-Rarity Pokémon. Recognizing their own weakness, they always live in a group. When alone, a Staravia cries noisily. It lives in forests and fields. Squabbles over territory occur when flocks collide."
Sheriff and Pidove prepared to open their wings.
"(Perhaps it's common for us birds to get in a battle…)" Pidove puffed up her chest.
"(Why would we ever fight, unless for Food, Water and Land?)" Asked Sheriff.
Pidove opens her small wings. "(Because it's common in our nature to be free and diplomatic, just ask the Braviary and the Mandibuzz, for example…)"

[Dan Vs Chili: Round 1]
"Well, if you want, I can start first." Said Dan.
"Actually, allow ME! Lillipup use Bite!" Chili ordered.
"It's not possible because- CORONA, USE VACUUM WAVE!" Dan rebutted Chili's order.
"(Take this!)" Lillipup opened his mouth and elongated his teeth with glowing white energy.
"(Sorry, pal…)" said Corona as she pulled Lillipup close with a Vacuum Wave and then punched Lillipup all the way back, breaking the white energy in Lillipup's mouth!
"(Ow!)" Lillipup dropped into the ground and slid on the floor…
"Lillipup!!" Chili was shocked. Lillipup struggled to get up but he managed to do so. "As if that would work on my Pokémon!"
"Now, Quick Attack!" Dan ordered once more as Corona blipped out of the plane for one second, reappearing behind Lillipup, and then she slashed Lillipup on his back and blipped back to her spot. Without a single phrase to say, Lillipup plops back down on his belly, fainted.
"LILLIPUP!!! NO!!" Chili was shocked at Corona's power.
"Lillipup is unable to battle! This round's winner is Scyther!" Guido announced, pointing his hand to Corona.
"See? I told you." Said Dan, petting his Scyther.
"Lillipup, return!" Chili recalled his Pokémon.

[Jimmy Vs Jake: Round 1]
"Pidove, use Work Up!" Jake ordered.
"(No pain, means no gain!)" Pidove did a few wing exercises as a Big Red Aura surrounded her, signaling her offensive stats going up by one stage each, even though Jimmy and Sarah didn't even know what it was.
"What was THAT?!" Sarah scoffed. "What a waste of a good turn! Show him you mean business, Jimmy!"
"Well, if you want to use that time to do that, I guess…" said Jimmy shyly. "Sheriff, use Wing Attack.."
"Aw come on, Jimmy! LOUDER!" Sarah cheered for Jimmy.
"Sheriff… U-Use Wing Attack!" Jimmy managed to squeeze it out of his mouth.
"(What was that you said? No pain means no gain? Watch what happens once you GAIN PAIN!)" Sheriff flies by Pidove and smashes his wings into Pidove, which hurts her a lot to the point where she chirps loudly!
"Pidove!!" Jake honestly felt sorry for his Pokémon.
"See?! A waste of a good turn!" Sarah smirked at Jake. "Finish him, Jimmy!"
Pidove looked back at the Sheriff who opened his wings and scared Pidove.
"You see that?!" Sarah taunted Jake. "That scares your Pokémon so you can't be stronger than Jimmy's Pokémon! Hahah!"
"Well if I can't go in Attack Mode, might as well keep your Pokémon in far range…" Jake squinted.
"Huh?" Asked Sarah.
"Pidove! Sick 'em with Air Cutter!" Jake ordered.
"(Like I said; no pain, no gain!)" Pidove closed her wings in front of her and opened them, releasing a bunch of Wind Blades from inside her wings!
"AAH! Sheriff! Dodge them!" Jimmy ordered frantically, as Sheriff flies up, barely dodging the blades.
"Don't let them escape! Quick Attack and Gust Combo him!" Jake ordered.
Pidove closed her wings and blipped out of the plane! She reappeared behind Sheriff. And then, like Jake ordered, a Gust Combo! So she dove in a circle around Sheriff, getting a Small Wind Tornado, wrapping Sheriff in a closed space, closing his wings!
"Jimmy! Do something!" Sarah called out.
"Uh…! Sheriff! Save yourself with Wing Attack again!" Jimmy ordered.
"(You think a small gust of wind can stop me?!)" Sheriff opened his wings and was about to attack with his wings again, clearly being able to finish off Pidove!
"Gotcha! Pidove! Air Cutter on his wings, then again by the center!" Jake ordered with a thrust of his hand!
"(No more playing rough with a lady!)" Pidove closed her wings and opened them, revealing a Rain Storm of Air Cutters that hooked Sheriff's Wings apart and opened, making Sheriff receive another round of Air Cutter to his chest!
"(GRAAAAWWW!!!)" Sheriff was immobile as he was falling to the ground!
"SHERIFF!!!" Jimmy cried out.
"Quick Attack below, and use the Gust and Air Cutter Combo!" Jake ordered.
"(Say bye-bye, Territorial Bully!)" Pidove blipped out of the sky and onto the ground, making a small wind tornado, catching Jimmy's Staravia from an impactful landing, if only Pidove didn't end the round by springing Three Air Cutters to Sheriff's Back and his wings from behind, so it not only became an impactful landing, but a finishing one!
The round was over as the Gust and Air Cutter tossed Sheriff into a spiral as he smacked against the ground, on his belly, fainted.
"No…" Jimmy's eyes teared up.
"Staravia is unable to battle! This round's winner is Pidove!" Guido pointed his hand to Pidove, as Jimmy recalled his Staravia.
"HEY! THAT WAS NOT FAIR!" Sarah stomped her feet. "JIMMY SHOULD'VE WON THAT ONE!! NOT YOU!!"
"Well in case you didn't know, while Staravia may have had the upper hand in Physical Attack, he had no way to answer the increase of my Pidove's Special Attack. So while your Pokémon is physically stronger, there was no answer to Special Moves like Gust and Air Cutter, that got boosted during the Work Out Process. Tough luck." Said Jake with a sneer.
"Oh dear…" Jimmy sniffled.

[Jimmy Vs Jake: Continuing to Round 2]
Jimmy shivered with fear about this Pokémon who Jake summoned.
"Hey! Jimmy! Can I see your Pikachu in action?!" Asked Vada, smiling.
"Vada! How could you think of summoning his Pikachu at a time like this?!" Sarah growled at her ally.
"Well, I guess I could try…" Jimmy shrugged as he loaded another Pokéball. "Let's get 'em, Sparky!"
Jimmy tossed his Pokéball out and summoned a Female Pikachu, much like Jonny.
Sparky got on all fours with her heart-shaped tail up. "(You think you're so tough by handling the bully of the group?! Well you're not gonna like me!)"
"(Your friend wasn't much of a contender… I was disappointed in our bird fight…)" Pidove raised her wings.
"(Well bird frying… IS my thing! Hope you enjoy!)' Sparky gritted her teeth.
"How to work this one out…" Jake began thinking. "How about this? Pidove! Blow that Pikachu away with Gust!"
"(With pleasure!)" Pidove sweeped in circles, releasing a small wind tornado that swept throughout the arena, heading towards Sparky's direction!
"AACK!! Sparky! Fend it off with Thunder Wave!" Jimmy panicked.
"(Here it goes!)" Sparky stood up and blasted a pulse from her cheek pouches that collided with the Gust and the collision exploded, neutralizing it! After the smoke cleared up, Sparky was right behind Pidove.
"(HUH?!)" Pidove was caught off guard.
"WAIT! WHAT?!" Jake was at a loss for words.
This gave Jimmy encouragement as well as motivation to try something new.
"Sparky! Quick Attack and Thundershock! Uppercut her with lightning!" Jimmy smirked, nervously.
"(Try THIS!!!)" Sparky charged lightning from her tail and PUNCHED Pidove into the air with a Lightning Bolt!
"WHAT THE-?!" Jake was caught off guard as Jake and Pidove saw Sparky right above the Bird Pokémon!
"Thundershock and Quick Attack, DOWN!" Jimmy pointed down!
"(TIME FOR THE FINISHING TOUCH!)" Sparky grabbed Pidove's body as she used Lightning and Quick Speed to travel down and Body Slams Pidove into the ground!
(IT'S SUPER EFFECTIVE!)
Sparky somersaulted back to Jimmy's side.
"Pidove is unable to battle! Pikachu is the winner of Round 2!" Guido announced.
"You did excellently well, Pidove, return…" Jake recalled his Pokémon.
"Good job, Jimmy!" Sarah smiled.
"So, you've mastered the art of Combining Skills, huh?" Asked Jake.
"Well, you taught me." Said Jimmy.
"I should've known better than to let a Flying Type handle an Electric Type Pokémon…" Jake sighed.
"Wait! That's the weakness for birds?!" Asked Vada.
"Exactly." Said Jake. "Though no more birds… Prepare yourself for the next one!"

[Dan Vs Chili: Round 2]
"Well, hope you're not carrying a berry! Cuz this one will toast you!" Chili taunted. "Come on out, Pansear!"
"(Out of all the Fire Types, they put a monkey to fight me?!)" Corona aims her scythe at Pansear.
"(Believe me, milady… I do not have the patience to cook vile insects…)" said Chili's Pansear.
"(You're more of a Kid's EZ Oven to me.)" Corona slashes the air to boast.
"Finally, a Fire Type." Said Dan.
"And it'll be the last your Buf Pokémon sees!" Chili boasted. "Take this! Pansear! Incinerate!"
"AHP! Corona! Vacuum Wave!" Dan ordered.
"(EAT THIS, HOT BREATH!)" Corona sucked in Pansear's Incinerating Flames and also sucked in Pansear and punched him all the way back, making him slide on the floor with charred marks. And like Lillipup, Pansear also struggled to get up…
"HEY, WHAT GIVES?!" Chili was beginning to question the official rules of the Scyther's power.
"Oh, nothing." Said Dan. "It's just flinching."
"Flinching?! Since when can Vacuum Wave hurt Pokémon that badly?!" Asked Chili.
"I dunno, how about we see it again?" Asked Dan. "Do it one more time, Corona!"
"(With pleasure!)" Corona reeled in another wave of air, sucking in Pansear.
"Quick! Pansear! Use Lick on the Scythe of that Scyther!" Chili plotted.
"(I'm sorry, Madame…)" Chili's Pansear opened his mouth and as he tried licking Corona's Scythe, he got a scythe punch to the stomach as he was launched back, landing onto a painting on a wall and flopped down, fainted.
"Pansear is unable to battle! The winner of Round 2 is Scyther!" Guido pointed to Corona.
Chili looked at Corona's Scythe, and found out it was soaked, meaning that Pansear successfully used lick on the Scythe, but nothing happened.
'Perhaps Pansear missed? Or is that Pokémon hiding something?' Chili began thinking. 'One must see before understanding…'

[Dan Vs Chili: Continuing to Round 3]
"Is that something you're hiding underneath your Pokémon' Scythe?" Asked Chili.
"What? You thought it was a berry, and the answer is wrong." Said Dan.
"What is it then?" Asked Chili.
"All you need to know it's perfectly Legal to have in a battle, even an official Gym Battle." Said Dan.
"Alright then, let's find out. Come on out, Tepig!" Chili summoned his First Surprise Pokémon.
Tepig oinked as he stood on all fours for battle.
"(Another food based pun to go to my Vacuum Wave?)" Asked Corona.
"(I'm no hotdog, but I can SURELY make it burn like a hot rod!)" Tepig snorted flames.
"(Hot rod dog seems more like it…)" said Corona.
Chili tried ordering an attack. "Tepig, use-!"
"Vacuum Wave!" Dan replied to that order, but this time, Chili tried identifying the thing tucked underneath Corona's Scythe as he tried thinking, Corona landed a critical hit, knocking out the Tepig with one punch as Tepig gets tossed back into Chili's Zone.
"Tepig is unable to battle! The winner of Round 3 is Scyther!" Guido pointed to Corona.
Then Chili pieced it altogether as he chuckled, feeling like an imbecile…
"Oh you cheeky monkey!" Chili placed his hand on his face in sheer disgrace and humorously as he answered the riddle.
The riddle: what cannot be incinerated like a berry and be able to mop Pokémon with flinches? The answer is…
"What?" Asked Dan.
"You didn't think I'd let you leave with a King's Rock Wielding Scyther with a Priority Move, right?" Asked Chili. "It's not over yet! One more left! This is where I give it my all! And no more hiding behind rocks with that one move! I have one move that can easily put yours to shame! Behold, my final surprise Pokémon!"

[Jimmy Vs Jake: Round 3]
"Hope you're ready for a new Pokémon, Jimmy!" Jake loaded another Pokéball. "Hope you're as good as he said you are… … LET'S GO, SLAKOTH!"
Jake summoned his Hoenn Pokémon, courtesy of the Hoenn Champion.
"(Well… …. What now?)" Asked Slakoth.
"(Oh brother, a Slow Fighter…)" Sparky growled with impatience.
"(You'll find out the truth about me…)" Slakoth chuckled.
"Oh no!" Sarah mocked. "A slow weakling! Whatever shall we do?!"
"Careful, young lady. How would you feel if that Pokémon's yours?" Asked Jake.
"And why would I catch one?!" Asked Sarah. "If I have one, I would disown it!"
"Ooh, harsh words, but you'll see." Jake smirked. "Slakoth! Skill Swap!"
"(Let's trade shoes… as my Ex-Owner says…)" Slakoth's eyes glowed green as Sparky's eyes glowed green as there were two beams of transmission flying from each other's eyes to the other!
"(Hey… give back my speed…)" Sparky already felt tired.
"(AHAH! I TOLD YOU TO NOT DOUBT ME!)" Slakoth leaped in the air as his opponent became slower.
"AAAH! SPARKY! NO!" Jimmy felt horrified.
"HEY! WHAT DID YOU DO TO JIMMY'S POKÉMON?!" Sarah shouted at Jake.
"Well, you did say you were going to disown the slowest Pokémon like Slakoth, so let's see how YOU like slow Pokémon!" Jake taunted.
Sarah was about to lunge at Jake, but Yuna had her robot arms on her backpack ready to shoot Sarah with another blast of Electricity.
"Stay back, rabid dog!" Yuna barked.
"You and your machines… You remind me of Double Dee…" Sarah argued.
"Jokes on you, he's actually a good trainer." Said Jake.
"How did you know?! Did YOU battle him?!" Asked Jake.
"We all did." Said Trixie.
Meanwhile during the argument, Jimmy studied Sparky, she would take naps between turns. Jimmy wonders about something.
"Alright! If you want my Pokémon to take a break, then so be it!" Said Jimmy with a voice with energy as he recalled his Pokémon, snapping Jake's Crew and Sarah out of the argument.
Jake raised a brow.
"Pink! Let's go!" Jimmy summoned his Gorebyss, who's inside an orb of water.
The Gorebyss looked at Slakoth, who's energetic.
"(Let's finish this quick!)" Pink squinted at Slakoth.
"(I'm loaded with more gimmicks that you can stuff your mouth with!)" Slakoth taunted.
"(Your blood will not be the only thing I want in my mouth!)" The Gorebyss prepared to swim.
"(HEY! I'm a guy!)" Slakoth warned.
Pink blushed madly. "(THAT'S NOT WHAT I MEANT, IDIOT!)"
"Alright! Now, where were we?" Asked Jake. "Alright. Slakoth! Scratch!"
"(Here I come!)" Slakoth charged with excellent speed.
"Pink! Blast him with Water Pulse!" Jimmy ordered, pointing forward with his finger!
"(Have a drink!)" Pink blasted some water from her mouth that spurted into a ring that flew fast as it splashed Slakoth in the face so hard that he felt dizzy, as he was confused.
"(Oh… my head…)" Slakoth was confused.
"Slakoth! Don't stop! Attack that Gorebyss now while you have the chance!" Jake ordered.
Unfortunately, Slakoth swiped and fell on his back, hurting himself in his confusion.
"Slakoth! Are you okay?!)" Jake was caught off guard with the miscalculation.
"Great! Now how about this for a combo?!" Asked Jimmy with a confident smile. "Pink! Whirlpool!"
"(How about a nice spinning swim?!)" asked the Gorebyss as she spits a stream of water that slithered onto Slakoth, trapping him into a twister of water!
"What the?!" Jake was shocked.
"And now! Confusion!" Jimmy ordered as he took out a spoon, as he aimed it at Gorebyss.
"(Hope you're ready for a wild ride!)" Said Pink as her eyes flashed and controlled the whirlpool. "(Here it comes!)"
Pink controlled the Whirlpool wave with Slakoth inside of it as Slakoth kept hurting himself in confusion. It was until after 5 dips in the ground that Pink lifted up Slakoth and pummeled him into the ground while the water began fading, showing a soaked Slakoth.
"Slakoth is unable to battle! The winner of Round 3 goes to Gorebyss!" Guido pointed to Gorebyss.
"Well done…" Jimmy puts away his spoon.
"What was THAT?!" Asked Jake.
"You trained with Sabrina behind my back, Jimmy?!" Sarah looked angry as Jimmy sheepishly smiled. But then Sarah smiled. "Can you teach me how to work with that spoon after this battle, please?! Sabrina keeps telling me that I'm no good!"
"Um, sure, Sarah!" Jimmy smiled.

[Jimmy Vs Jake: Continuing to Round 4]
"Alright! No more games! Slakoth, return!" Jake recalled his Primary Weapon Pokémon. And now he has his Secondary Weapon Pokémon. "Hope you're ready for the next one, Jimmy! Because Water Pokémon is his Bread and Butter! Come on out, Porygon!"
Out came a Digital Pokémon who looked at the battlefield and saw the Gorebyss.
"(Great… another Normal Type… I'm getting bored…)" said Pink.
"(Hope you like the sour, tingling taste of Electricity.)" Said Porygon. (Voiced by a Dalek.)
"(Say what now?)" Asked Pink.
Suddenly, Jimmy felt something tugging in his pockets, like if his spoon wanted to get out of his pocket.
"Hey! Why is my spoon trying to leave my pocket?!" Asked Jimmy.
"Perhaps it's because this Pokémon has a Magnet, Jimmy. Be careful!" Kyle warned as he began thinking. 'This trainer has a Magnet, could it be with Thunderbolt? Or perhaps… oh no…'
"Alright! Lock-On to that Gorebyss, Porygon!" said Jake.
"(Locking on)" said Porygon.
"What is this waste of turn now?!" Sarah frowned.
"Nothing, it just locks onto the opponent so that the next move doesn't miss." Jake simply replied.
"Oh yeah?!" Asked Jimmy. "Here's another combo for thirsty Pokémon! Pink! Water Pulse with a Whirlpool touch!"
"(Prepare to be soaked like your other Normal Type Partner!)" Pink takes a deep breath of her water orb and spits it out onto Porygon's Direction!
"Oh yeah?" Asked Jake.
"JIMMY! IT'S A TRAP!" Kyle warned.
"WHAT TRAP?!" Vada and Sarah exclaimed.
"Now, Porygon… ZAP CANNON!" Jake ordered.
"(EXTERMINATE!)" Porygon pointed his Beak at the center of the spiral, as his Magnet charged up the electric power. And then Porygon fired a big Ball of Electricity!
The magnet also pulled Jimmy's spoon out of his pocket, but Jimmy quickly grabbed it as the Drilling Water Pulse and Whirlpool sizzled underneath the might of the Zap Cannon!
"JIMMY!!!" Kyle, Vada and Sarah called out to him.
Jimmy was close to having a panic attack as his Pokémon was about to be cooked! But Jimmy never let up as he took a deep breath as he and his Pokémon's eyes turned blue.
"Confusion on that ball of Electricity!" Said Jimmy as he and his Pokémon worked together.
Water Pulse combo all sizzled out as he and Pink caught the Zap Cannon attack in midair, pushing the two a bit back.
"HOW DID YOU CAUGHT THE ATTACK?!" Jake was shocked.
"Now you really must show me how to do that!" Sarah said, impressed.
"Sarah… I don't think he's actually doing well…" Kyle warned as Sarah saw Jimmy's nose… it's bleeding!
"Dude! Don't do it again! You're gonna get hurt!" Jake warned.
"This victory… is as good as… mine!" Jimmy fought for it even though it's punishing his body.
"Jimmy, this isn't you!" Sarah warned.
"Hey, Jake! How about you try that Zap Cannon one more time?!" Asked Jimmy, his eyes still glowing blue.
"I… I can't! It takes time for Lock-On to actually work!" Said Jake. "And even if I did, how are you planning to toss a minimum accurate attack right back at me?!"
"Like this!!" Jimmy ordered. "Pink! Toss this attack back with Confusion and Water Pulse!"
"EEEK! A TRIPLE COMBO!" Yuna warned as Jake's friends were surprised by what Jimmy had unlocked.
"(What was that? Oh yes, Exterminate…)" Pink blasted a ring of Water around the Zap Cannon as she sent the Electric Attack right back at Porygon! Making a big explosion of Light!
After the light and mist faded, Porygon was jittering with electricity and was soaking wet.
"O-o-o-o-ow…" Porygon shut down.
"Porygon is unable to battle! The winner of round 4 goes to Gorebyss!" Said Guido!
Sarah and Vada celebrated as Jimmy's eyes turned to normal as he fell to one knee.
"Is… your Pokémon okay… Jake…?" Asked Jimmy,.. so frail…
"Well, about my Pokémon, nothing like a Good Zap Cannon to say good morning…" said Jake as he sees Jimmy's other nostril bleeding. "ENOUGH ABOUT US, WHAT ABOUT YOU?! YOU'RE LITERALLY GIVING THIS BATTLE YOUR ALL!!"
"Should I call off the fight?" Asked Guido.
"No…" Jimmy moaned in pain. "Please… I did all this for our first battle…"
"He has a point there…" Said Lawrence.
"Well if we're playing that…" Jake begins pacing back and forth.
Jimmy breathes in and out.
"I'm afraid you have to surrender…" said Jake as everyone gasped. "If you really wanted to fight me with such power, let's just say there will be more than hospital bills… Jimmy, don't do it! Not with this Pokémon anymore at least!"
"You're… you're scared…" said Jimmy.
Jake got a bit ticked off. "Jimmy! You're in no good condition to keep fighting! How about 1 more minute before I call the Paramedics…?"
"Is that supposed to be a threat?" Asked Jimmy as he coughed extremely hard, making everyone feel sorry for Jimmy.
"Jimmy! I don't want you to die!" Said Jake. "Sometimes there's more to a battle than just winning! You can't expect it to always go your way!"
"Well, then, how about I try again…" Jimmy recalled Pink.
Guido looked at Jake. "Well, here it goes… The battle between Jimmy of Peach Creek and Jake of Aspertia City will now resume!"
The two groups were by no means not excited, but rather extremely worried… for Jimmy.

[Dan Vs Chili: Round 4]
"Behold! I choose you! Arcanine!" Chili summoned his last Surprise Pokémon.
Arcanine was a large, bulky canine Pokémon that also possessed traits of tigers and lions. He had a distinct long dog-like muzzle with a large round black nose. His eyes were triangular in shape, with black pupils. He had short diamond-shaped orange ears with cream colored insides. The majority of Arcanine's body was covered with bright orange fur with jagged black stripes, resembling the fur of a tiger. Most of his head and face, and his chest, legs, are covered in light cream colored fluffy tufts of fur. He had a long puffy cream-colored tail.
The Pokémon roared loudly. "(Who's ready for some LEGENDARY ACTION?!)"
Sarah and Jonny were scared. Amanda was surprised as her fighting instincts activated.
"Not now, Amanda. Calm down. This isn't something to worry about." Said Dan.
"Oh you should worry! Not only is this Pokémon a Fire Type! Your Pokémon is also weak to it!" Chili warned.
"Fire Type, you say?" asked Jonny as he took out his Pokédex and scanned it.
"Arcanine, the Legendary Pokémon. A Fire-Type, Ultra Rare-Rarity Pokémon. The sight of it running over 6,200 miles in a single day and night has captivated many people. Its proud and regal appearance has captured the hearts of people since long ago."
"Such a majestic being…" said Amanda watching the Pokémon.
"But why would I be afraid since I'm not using Corona for this Pokémon?" Asked Dan.
"Wait! You're not?!" Asked Chili.
"Look at the Donphan in the room. A Bug fighting Fire Type who IS ALSO NOT a Rock, Steel, Ice or Normal Type for that matter. So let's not play as the idiots of the game, and play it right! Corona, return!" Dan recalled his Scyther.
"Alright. If you don't need to use that Pokémon to use, which one shall it be?" asked Chili, getting rather impatient.
"Well then, look no more than to Gold!" Dan summoned his Meowth.
"(Who wants a taste of Gold?!)" Asked the Meowth.
"(Hello, Kitten! You wanna fight with the big boys, now?!)" Arcanine growled.
"(I'm more of the Gentlemen's Poker Club myself, thank you very much!)" Gold posed for battle.
"Well, that'll be all." Said Dan.
"Alright, if you don't have anymore cheap tricks, Arcanine! Use Fire Fang!" Chili ordered.
"Use Fake Out!" Dan rebutted.
Just as Arcanine was loading his mouth with Fire, Gold slapped his own hands in front of his face, making Arcanine flinch and stopping his attack. However, the attack had much more power!
"Okay, what's the catch…?" Asked Chili, feeling defeated.
"Nothing. It's just a Silk Scarf and the Ability Technician, which not only boosts the weaker moves, but the Silk Scarf boosts Normal Type Attacks. How do you like it?" Asked Dan. "While we have the chance! Use Scratch!"
As Arcanine shook his head, Gold approached with long claws!
"(Say good night, ya mutt!)" Said Gold as he delivered the finishing blow!
Arcanine was slashed as he fell on his stomach, fainted with swirly eyes.
"Arcanine is unable to battle! The winner of the Final Round goes to Meowth, which means the winner is Dan of Peach Creek!"
Dan's team celebrated.
Chili sighed as he warmed up.. "You got me… I.. am… burnt out…"
"What a nice play!" Jonny exclaimed as he listened to Plank. "Plank says that ONLY YOU CAN PREVENT WILDFIRES!"
Amanda giggled at the Joke.
"You did it, Danny- er- Dan!" Nazz replied, respecting Dan's change.

[Jimmy Vs Jake: Round 5]
Jimmy begins thinking. 'I can feel Sparky's Life Energy is still as happy as ever… Perhaps the Skill Swap wore off… But I used a safe amount of power that Sabrina taught me… And so, I fight back with this… I have to…'
"Alright! My last League-Provided Pokémon… Let's go, Munchlax!" Jake was about to summon Munchlax.
"Wait, wasn't that the Munchlax that you forgot to heal?" Asked Catherine.
"OH SHOOT! I forgot… but let's keep going… I wouldn't want the squirt to waste too much time… Let's get 'em, Munchlax!" Jake reluctantly kept going as he summoned his last Pokémon, a Surprise Pokémon.
"(HEHEY! HERE I AM!)" Munchlax replied with energy as he felt his pain coming back… "(OHOH… THE PAIN…)"
"What kind of Pokémon is that?" Asked Sarah, really puzzled as Vada pulled out her Pokédex.
"Munchlax, the Big Eater Pokémon. A Normal-Type, Epic-Rarity Pokémon. In its desperation to gulp down food, it forgets about the food it has hidden under its fur. It wolfs down its weight in food once a day, swallowing food whole with almost no chewing."
Munchlax has a plump, teal-colored body with a cream-colored spot on its chest. Its round head is teal in the top half and cream on the bottom half. It has big, round eyes and large pointy ears. It has five-fingered hands and cream-colored feet with three clawed toes.
"Alright, Jimmy. No more Psychic-Type Shenanigans…" said Jake.

Jimmy recalled Pink and summoned Sparky, as Jimmy looked at Sparky as she began charging her electricity.
"Munchlax! Use Double-Edge" Jake ordered.
"(HEE HEE! HERE I GO!!)" Munchlax charged with gaining speed.
'Poor kid, he gave it all…' Jake thought. 'Little did he know Munchlax is Tanky in all sides. And Double-Edge gets a Normal Type Boost with Munchlax. I'm afraid with the shock of defeat, stress and whatever THAT attack was that held onto both my Slakoth AND Porygon… I'm afraid his Pokémon Trainer days will be over…'
But as Sparky charged up a ball of Electricity as big as Porygon's Zap Cannon, Jake's Eyes opened up.
"HOW?! HOW IS THAT POSSIBLE?!" Asked Jake.
Bruno pieced it together. "That Zap Cannon education cost you that other nostril, huh, Kid?"
Jake was surprised and chuckled, feeling like an idiot. "You are one miracle kid. But don't let it get to you… FASTER, MUNCHLAX!"
Munchlax charged faster.
"ZAP CANNON!" Jimmy's rusty voice squeaked as he called out.
"(Take this!)" Sparky shot the Zap Cannon at the Tackling Normal-Type Pokémon who got up close and took it square to the body!
"(GyAyAyAyAy!!)" Munchlax felt paralyzed and damaged from the skeleton-tingling power of Zap Cannon!
"Serve him another Zap Cannon… Sparky!" Jimmy ordered meekly.
"(With pleasure!)" Sparky raises her tail as her tail glows blue, then her body and then her ears as she runs and gets a bit closer. (Hence her name, from Clash Royale's Sparky, the Legendary Card!)
"Munchlax! Get up!" Jake ordered frantically, but Munchlax sparked with electric tingles. Not even a potion could save him! "OH NO!!"
"(ZAP… CANNON!) PIKA… PIKA… CHUUUUU!!!)" Jimmy's Pikachu zapped Mumchlax with a devastating cannon of electricity, blasting Munchlax far into a concrete wall! Munchlax laid there, fainted.
Jimmy's team celebrated!
"You did it, Jimmy!" Sarah smiled.
"See? I told you Pikachu helps!" Vada smiled with glee.
"That's REAL Brainpower." Said Kyle.
"Munchlax is unable to battle! The winner of the final round is Pikachu, which means the winner of the battle is, Jimmy- … OH SWEET CHERUBI'S IN THE SKY! GET ME THE PARAMEDICS, ON THE DOUBLE!!! WE GOT AN UNCONSCIOUS TRAINER IN THE FIELD!!" Guido runs to the exit as Jake, Sarah and their friends see Jimmy, who was on the ramp. His head, shoulder and arms limping from the side of the stage.
"JIMMY!!!" Sarah cried out as they all tried running to Jimmy but the Paramedics came right on time. Beside Jimmy, Jake gave him his Basic Badge and his Technical Machine for Work Up.
"Be safe, kid.." said Jake as Jimmy was carried away into an ambulance.

"Woah Ho! You're on fire! Well it's the Pokémon League's Rule. Take this Gym Badge and this Technical Machine!" Chili rewards Dan the Trio Badge and the Technical Machine for Work Up. "Congratulations, Mr New-Strategy-up-his-sleeves. You beat me…"
"Don't be so hard on yourself, Chili, You tried your best." Said Cilan.
"And so, we will do our best in our own battles. Is everyone ready?" Asked Cress.

For Nazz Vs Cress, Nazz bought some time fighting Lillipup, Panpour and Oshawott with both Evo (Eevee) and Buddy (Her own Lillipup) while saving Charlotte (Tepig) and Valkyrie (Pidgeotto) for last, defeating Cress's Starmie.
For Jonny Vs Cilan, it was best seen to use Chuchu for Thunder Wave while beating everyone in a 3 V 4, though he did loan a Pokémon from Amanda.
Amanda Vs Cilan? Amanda did as she could, she struggled, but she came out victorious.
The group decided to have some brunch for the day to celebrate it even though Chili, Cilan, and Cress were thinking of retiring from being Gym Leaders.

And although Jimmy was in the hospital (inside the Pokémon Center), Sarah and her allies never stopped to take the inspiration to watch over Jimmy, while one of them, one by one, battles Jake, starting with Sarah. However, Jake didn't feel like battling, so he let Catherine fight for him while he felt blue.
For Sarah, she just had to simply wear down Catherine's Pokémon, defensively and offensively. Using the game stretching combos of Superlady (Ledyba) and Bully (Snubull), all Blue (Huntail) and Chica (Torchic) had to do was fight normally, although Sarah learned how to combo the hard way and had to find the right way to combine attacks. (Not Attack-Fusion)
Vada and Kyle had one Pokémon each, so they loaned Jimmy's Pokémon for the time being and won.
As Catherine awarded Sarah, Kyle and Vada their Gym Badges and Technical Machines, Jimmy requested Jake to visit him.
As Jake was dubious about visiting him, he did. And once he did, Jimmy gave Jake a hand shake and said that Jake delivered one of the most heart-thrilling battles in history and thanked Jake for welcoming Jimmy to the Pokémon World. Jake replied with gratitude as both shared Jimmy's requested recovery food, Waffles and Pancakes with Pecha Berry Sauce.
Jake wondered if he'll meet trainers like Jimmy.
Spoiler Alert: After 18 battles, none of them even came close to the awesome craftsmanship of Jimmy. Or perhaps Jimmy was the best one who began Jake's Gym Leader Career and the feeling to spark thrills is the most cherished moment.
