"The Bloody Hellion and Morta Negra."
The greasy man laughed.
"As if these monsters have such allies! Don't make me laugh." the man said. Danok growled. A sudden flash of light distracted the group again. Galen and Vanyel emerged from the light.
"We can as soon as we recieved your message, Rania." Galen said softly. Rania nodded.
"Where is our brother?" Rania said coldly. Vanyel's icy eyes centered on the jail behind the greasy man and his group.
"They are in the jail behind this cretin. Wounded as well." Vanyel said, his voice cold. The KI leaking out of Rania and Danok was suffocating the lesser of the men.
"Stand aside. NOW." Danok growl, his red eyes flashing. The greasy man laughed again.
"Kill them." The greasy man said. The men rushed towards the group. The men suddenly stopped, fear in their eyes. Rania's eyes looked to Danok only to see he called his nightmare armor. A skeleton like helmet, arcanic symbols, and his terror sword with its screaming head.
"T..they are...them..." One man said. Rania then summoned her blood blades. As they appeared, the men began to back pedal.
"Vanyel, get inside the jail." Galen said. Vanyel nodded and walked towards the jail. The greasy man scowled at Galen.
"I guess its me and you, pretty boy." the man scoffed
"Yes." Galen said, forming a sword out of the sunlight. The greasy man paused.
"A man who can use light as a weapon. That means you're The Consul of Velos." The greasy man said. Galen smiled.
"Of course, you are holding my people hostage. As a leader, I have to act. As their friend, I will protect them from you." Galen said. The greasy man grinned
"Theres a price on your head. I could be rich." The greasy man said, attacking. Galen sidestepped the man as the man attacked.
"Stay still so I can kill you." the man fumed. Galen smiled.
"If you were faster, you might touch me." Galen said. As they were fighting, more men had gathered around Rania and Danok.
"Art of nightmare: Dark hearts." Danok said. Suddenly, black mist burst from the chest if some of the men. The men then saw dopplegangers of themselves and began to fight. Four jumped at Rania, blades ready.
"Blood art: Boiling blood." Rania said as they were in the air. The men fell to the ground, blood boiling from their bodies. Others ran towards her as their comrades lay dead.
"Blood art: Blood spikes." Rania said, her eyes burning red. The other attackers bodies were riddled with bloody spikes from their dead comrades. The greasy man watched as his men were killed in minutes.
"Your turn. Surrender or die." Galen said as he had the man down. The greasy man looked pale.
"I...surrender." The man said. Galen nodded and removed his blade from the mans neck. The man sat up, grinned, and tried to pull a blade from his back sheath, only to find his hands pierced to the ground by shafts of light.
"Because you surrendered, I won't kill you. Instead, you go to Velos and will face your crimes there." Galen said as more light wrapped around the man. Galen looked to the jail. Vanyel was carrying Geralt and Jakier was following. Rania and Danok hurried to them.
"Save the questions for now. We must get home." Vanyel said as Galen caught up with them.
"Indeed, Lets go." Galen said, dragging the captured villian with him. Vanyel spoke a few words and they were transported to Velos. Geralt was still out of it. The group hurried to the hospital.
"Doc!" Rania called. Lars turned to see the group and an injured Geralt.
"This way!" Doc said. Vanyel brought Geralt into the room. The others waited outside in the waiting area. The light went from green to red above the door. Vanyel exited the room and joined the others. Jaskier was tired and worried.
"Jaskier, you should be checked as well." Rania said. Jaskier opened his mouth to speak.
"It will some time before Doc is finished with Geralt." Galen said. Jaskier nodded numbly. A nurse stood at the door. Jaskier got up and followed her. Vanyel spoke his voice icy.
"From what little Geralt was able to tell me, they were on mission to find out how the Cocktrice was transported to attack the young ones. They were asking around and then they were attacked by possessed humans. Geralt couldn't kill them so they surrendered." Vanyel said.
"And the gang did the rest?" Danok asked.
"Not sure. Geralt passed out beofre he could tell me anything." Vanyel said. Rania spoke
"I'll have one of my summons look into it. This has to go higher." Rania said. Galen spoke.
"I agree. They would have to know why they were there." Galen said. The group was quiet, each thinking. A nurse walked in catching the attention of the group.
"Lord Consul, Jaksier is going to be admitted due to some injuries. They are not life threating but do require observation." The nurse said.
"Thank you." Galen said. The nurse left. Two hours passed before Doc walked out of the exam room.
"How is he?" Galen asked.
"Lucky. He has a broken arm that I set, several cuts that had to be stitched, a very bad gash to his head, and..." Doc trailed off.
"Doc?" Rania said, her voice concerned. Doc took a deep breath.
"He was whipped with a silver whip while the metal was hot." Doc said.
"Son of a ...They tortured him!" Rania said, her voice full of rage. The men where mad as well.
"He's still out of it for now and probably will be for some time. I'm not allowing visitors at the moment." Doc said, trying to calm the group. Rania took a deep breath.
"Ok, Doc. Let us know when we can see him." Rania said, controlling her anger. The group left quietly
"I will get to the bottom of this. Room 56 will be busy for some time." Galen said.
"Indeed." Danok said. Rania walked in between Danok and Vanyel quietly.
"What are you thinking about?" Vanyel said.
"I'm going to contact the king of that isle. He's not apart of the league but we do have a trade agreement." Rania said.
"What would that accomplish?" Danok said.
"Velos is a highly respected trading nation. If he thinks we could cancel the agreement because of this, he could tell us who is the real mastermind." Rania said.
"That could work but he may act dumb." Vanyel said.
"Then we know he's the mastermind. The ones I'm thinking of sending knows how to handle such men." Rania said as they walked up the steps. A man, dressed elegantly, stormed forward.
"Consul! You have overstepped your authority!" the man raged.
"Duke Pelion, what do you mean?" Galen said coolly.
"Imprisoning my nephew Mortis! As a duke nephew, he should be..." Pelion raged.
"He was arrested for attacking the Consul, instigating a coup, and use of a forbidden artifact." Rania replied, standing toe to toe with the duke.
"Nonsense! My poor misguided..." Pelion said
"Your nephew tried to kill the Consul. That act alone could cost him his head. You know our laws apply here and it will be up to the Consul to decide if he faces the council's judgement or be sent home." Rania replied.
"Pelion, if you wish to speak with your nephew, I'll allow it. Otherwise, stand aside." Galen growled.
"Your guard bi..." Pelion began. Danok and Vanyel walked forward and Pelion shut up.
"Yes, Consul." Pelion said sulking off.
"Mortis spilled everything he knew. Pelion and his father were egging him on but made sure their hands were clean." Galen said.
"They are panicking. They know he'll talk." Rania said.
"Lets handle the attack on Geralt first." Galen said. Rania nodded and went in her office. She walked to her desk and sat down, her temper still simmering. She then grabbed a piece of with her official seal on the top and one with the military letterhead on it. She filled out the military paper first. She then summoned a page
"Yes, Lady?" The page said. Rania spoke.
"Take this to the Phantomhive Estate." She said. The page nodded and left. She was writing the letter to the king when her door opened to reveal Kakashi.
"Lady Tsunade wanted me to report to you about the ones who attacked them but if you're busy, I can come back later." Kakashi said.
"Go ahead." Rania said.
"They were hired by a man dressed in black. He only gave his name as Black." Kakashi said.
"So the trail ends with them?" Rania asked
"Not sure. Lady Tsunade sent a few nins to investigate it." Kakashi said.
"Good. We need to stop this." Rania said. Kakashi looked at her..
"Lady Rania, do you think that Danzo has caused this?" Kakashi said.
"I'm not certain. I have sent warnings to them to leave everyone alone but it seems they think I'm bluffing. I guess I'll have to show them a little more force." Rania said. Kakashi looked at her. He knew of the power she had and what it could do. He did not envy Danzo.
"I'll make anthier report once the other nins report back." Kakashi said leaving. Ra ia finished the letter to the king as another knock sounded on her door.
"Come in." Rania said from her desk. The door opened to reveal Sebastian and Ciel.
"Hello, Lady Rania. Your message said that you had something you wanted us to investigate?" Sebastian said. Ciel took a seat in front of the desk.
"Yes. There is a noble who I need to be investigated without their knowledge of being investigated. I kniw you are the best at this and they have often asked you to go to one of the balls they throw." Rania said. Ciel sighed.
"Pelion." Ciel said.
"Yes. I believe he is behjnd the recent attacks. If ine of us go, then he would be in guard. With you, he will merely overlook you as a child." Rania said.
"I hate people like him. Scum." Ciel said. Sebastian spoke.
"Lady, we gladly accept however we heard of Sir Geralt's attack on the way over and would also like to investigate that as well." Sebastian said smoothly. Rania looked at him, her eyes blazing.
"You think Pelion had something to do with it, don't you?" Sebastian asked.
"Yes. Thats the other reason I'm asking you to do this." Rania said.
"We will accept this mission, Lady." Ciel said.
"Thank you, Ciel. If Danok or myself goes, that outcome may be less than ideal." Rania replied. Ciel and Sebastian left the office quietly. Ciel looked at Sebastian.
"Sebastian, is Pelion holding a meeting tonight?" Ciel asked.
"Yes, My lord. Shall I get your blue attire ready?" Sebastian said.
"Yes, lets see what this so called nobleman has planned." Ciel said. Sebastian smiled, his eyes glowing red.
Velos-School
Naruto and the others walked out of the school with lists of stuff they would learn and supplies they would need. Sasuke looked at the list.
"Most of this stuff looks simple enough to get. I'm sure the market would have this and we can get something to eat." Sasuke said.
"Yeah, I'm starved!" Naruto said. The group spunded off as well. As they did, a group of nins jumped down from the walls. The group stopped and looked at them.
"Come with us, criminals. Your Hokage Danzo inisists upon it." One said. One flashed through hand signs and suddenly the children were trapped.
"What? Chakra locks?" Sasuke said. The nin smiled
"You are criminals. You will return." One said. Another voice chimed in.
"No they won't. You are invading a land in which you have no authority. Leave now or die." A man in red and black said, his cold blue eyes showing his warning.
"You cannot stop us! We are the greatest! We Are..." One nin said until the man reached up and ripped his throat out.
"As I said, you have no authority here." The man said. The nins turned to face the man. Naruto and the others were watching.
"Kill him." One nin said. The other attacked but then the man moved fast, slicing flesh as he did. In seconds, all but one nin was dead.
"Who are you?" The nin said, his voice emotionless.
"Your Executioner."
