Chapter 886: A Mysterious Assassin.

(February 24. Tall Timbers Park. Royal Woods, Michigan.)

This is where the B. Lewis Family is now, spending time together after some outing time around the Town. All of them talking about the birthday of Leni Loud coming soon.

"We have Lori returning to be part of the birthday party" replied Amanda. "And, Miguel and Fiona will be handling the decorations, since they know Leni well, and it is nice of them to help out too."

"Lincoln and I have our birthday present ready, and the Loud's as well" replied Luna. Leni will have a lot of friends coming, and it will be a fun party."

"I also have to be ready for when the Logann's are gonna head there" replied Michelle. "Now, we know Kurt Logann has a fear of flying, and so FutureTech will handle the transportation for the Logann family. We have this whole party wrapped up and prepared."

Lincoln chuckles. "I can't wait, and yet I feel like the birthday party will make us all surprised. I don't know why, but it's this weird feeling."

They don't know what he means, but if there is going to be something surprising, then they're hoping it'll be a good one. They then spot the lake and are nervous about it. "So, did you guys tell FutureTech yet?" asked Lincoln.

"I did, and they said someone is down there, and investigating" replied Michelle, and she tries to remember who it is. "I think they sent that guy Boomer to check, I don't know."

They then walk back to the car, to go and get some lunch someplace else, since they don't see any food carts in the area. They head to Amanda's car, but then Michelle feels like something's off, and then she hears something and she looks to the right.

She spots this motorcycle coming at them, and so she grabs her family and pulls them away, and the bike stops not too far, and they see this man, and he doesn't look friendly. The man looks to the B. Lewis', and then the photo. "So, ya'll must be the Lewis'. Heard a lot about you, but never knew what you all looked like, glad I found you. I didn't find you at your home when I showed up."

This surprises the B. Lewis', and they didn't like this. Then Luna asks. "Who the heck are you and what the heck do you want?!"

The man gets off his bike, and he slowly goes towards them. "I go by the name, The Viper, and I'm the man who is gonna kill you all!" He pulls out his pump shotgun and shoots, but the B. Lewis' avoid this and they head back into the Park for safety, and this man goes after them.

They picked a bad day to leave their Pokémon behind to rest, they literally don't have any Pokémon with them for help, which means they have to try and take this man out themselves. Amanda then realizes. "this man must be a mercenary, or a hitman, or an assassin. But why go after us?"

The Viper manages to get close enough to them, and he tries to attack with his knife instead. "Nothing personal, but someone hired me to kill ya'll, and I'm already paid, and I gotta finish the job." He tries to stab at them, but then evade this.

Lincoln tries to go beneath, and land some kicks, but he is kicked off away. The man tries to attack Lincoln, but then Amanda uses her taser, but he dodges this and then he throws his knife, Amanda ducks down and the knife heads into the lake.

Michelle has her own taser, but he punches her in the face, and then he slaps away Amanda, then Luna tries to tackle, but he overpowers her, and throws her towards a tree. Amanda and Michelle ready they're handguns, but he shoots at them with his shotgun.

Michelle and Amanda race behind a fallen tree, and the shotgun rounds all head into the lake water, but before he can fire again, Lincoln leaps at the back of the man's head, and he manages to land some punches to the face, and tries to grab one of his knives.

But then The Viper grabs Lincoln and throws him to the ground again, and he is about to stab him, but then Luna grabs his arm and fights for the knife, but then he has another knife, and he stabs Luna onto her side, and this shocks the others, and then he punches Luna away from him and she lands near her brother, and he helps put pressure on her wounded area.

The Viper is about to kill them, and Michelle and Amanda are about to shoot him, but then they all hear this low growling sound, and they all look to the Lake, and see bubbles are forming, and then something large is now surfacing from the Lake and they look up at what is rising, and it is a Gyarados, and even Lincoln and Luna are startled.

The Viper is shocked, and doesn't know what is this. "What in the hell is that thing?!" Then someone falls from the Gyarados' mouth, it's the guy who was in there checking, Boomer.

Boomer floats on the lake and he removes his breather. "Everyone run! Some moron threw a knife, and shot at him! This peaceful water dragon is now pissed!" The Gyarados then raises it's tail above Boomer. "Oh, for Christ's—" Then the tail smacks onto him,

Gyarados looks around, and then it spots the Viper, and his knife. The knife falls from the top of Gyarados' head, and there is now a small scar, and there are some bruises on the back which are from the shotgun rounds, and the beast roars at the man.

The Viper drops his knife, and he makes a run for it, Gyarados then uses water cannon, and this sends the man to his bike, and then he sees Gyarados in full fury, that the beast traverses on land like a snake, and is going after him.

The Viper gets onto his bike and drives off, Gyarados stops and snarls, and then he heads back to the Lake and back to sleep, cop car sirens can be heard chasing the man on the bike while the others head for the Park.

Amanda and Michelle check on Luna, and she just has a stab wound and will be fine, they help her up to her feet, and then they see the paramedics racing towards them. Luna then asks. "Who the heck was that guy?"

A/N: Whoever that man is, this is not over and thanks to Gyarados for stopping him, and that means Royal Woods has a giant lake water dragon, so… Is this a good thing? I hope you all enjoyed reading this new chapter guys.
