Chapter 501 Recovering from Trauma…

(February 5. Lewis Residence. Olive Street. Royal Woods Michigan.)

Lincoln Lewis awakens and he sees the time is passed 7:30am and he sees that it's no even his alarm clock. H looks around and sees where he is, he is in his big sisters bed room and next to his right and asleep is his big sister Luna, and she looks like a mess with her hair.

Lincoln then remembers what's going on. After the attack of the corrupted Carson's, Lincoln has been having a hard time sleeping and same with his sister Luna and mother Michelle. Deep down, he felt sick in the stomach after what he witnessed, and what they were almost put into.

At least they don't have to go to school. Principal Ramirez and Principal Rivers agreed to let Lincoln and Luna some time to recover and try and go back to normal. Even Michelle has been given a temporary absence from her work.

Lincoln then sees Luna is waking up. She sits up and looks to her brother and both have some hurt in their eyes. The two Lewis siblings then embrace each other and shed some tears. They're both still hurt inside.

Just then they hear a knock at the door. So Lincoln and Luna get off the bed and they open the door and both are surprised to see it's Amanda Bright and she give them a comforting smile. "Good Morning you two. Breakfast is ready now, I came up here to get you guys."

Lincoln then asks. "Amanda? What the heck are you doing here?"

Even Luna asks. "Don't you have to go to work?"

Amanda smiles and then she explains. "I was given some days off to come here and help you guys. My boss totally understands and wants me to be here with you guys and help with your recovery. Are you two doing alright?"

Lincoln sighs and looks a little nervous but he does answer. "We're still trying to get over things after what happened…. Same with mom too. Did you go and see her?" Luna also looks concerned.

Amanda nods and then she explains. "I did and she's trying to take it into account after what went down and be as normal as things can be. I'll talk to her later and see what I can do, and you two can tag along as well. You're mom is in the kitchen and she finished making breakfast."

Amanda then goes to Lincoln's level and she places a hand onto his shoulder and then she asks. "Are you doing alright sport?" she knows something is up and so does Luna.

Without even answering, Lincoln just hugs Amanda and has tears and so she hugs him back and then Luna hugs them both and has some tears. Amanda knows that Lincoln and are hurt inside and need comfort. They then hear Lincoln talking as he's crying. "W-Why did that h-have to happen?"

Amanda can see he is truly shaken at what he witnessed and experienced. "I… I don't know why, but we're gonna get through this together. Becca we're all family." They then continue this hug, but they depart after a few minutes and then head downstairs.

They spot Michelle in the living room and she looks to her phone and then she puts it away and she looks to the others. They know she is still upset after what went down. This causes both Lincoln and Luna to go over and embrace their mother and she returns the hug. Amanda then heads over and she also hugs them all. She knows they need time to recover.

(An hour later.)

We now see the four of them eating breakfast and their glad it's still warm but they all eat it in the living room and watch some TV. Just then they see the news is on and it's Katherine Mulligan.

"This is Katherine Mulligan live here at the FutureTech base of operations outside of Royal Woods and we just got word that the Carson Brothers will be sentenced to be locked away in different countries around the globe, therefore unable to ever make contact to each other."

An armored truck drives off, and then another and another and another.

"Also, the original Carson Parents, Benjamin and Loretta have officially disowned the brothers thus they are no longer part of the Carson Family and are dead to them. They're plans are now to sell whatever useless materials the brothers have kept and to send the money to the Lewis' as an apology after what happened-"

Luna turns off the TV and she looks miffed. "I don't wanna hear anything about those Carson's ! Let them be good or bad!" she then sheds some teats and Lincoln goes over and hugs her, Luna returns the hug to her brother.

Michelle scoots closer and she sighs. "I don't blame you Lunes. I don't wanna hear about anything from them either." Amanda then goes over and she hugs Michelle and so she returns the comforting embrace.

Amanda knows that she has to help them, if they are to return back to normal. But deep within her thoughts she is enraged. 'If by some dumb luck those cretins do come back, then I'll be the one to bury them sixty-thousand feet into the ground!'

Then another thing comes to Amanda's mind. 'I haven't even thanked that superhero who helped us. Lady Ace, my superhero version…. I am so grateful that she came and helped me rescue my family.'

A/N: Amanda will be the one to do whatever she can to help them recover, and they're still shaken from what they had endured, but what will happen when the Carson's do show up and speak with them, and I mean the good Carson Family. I do hope that you all enjoyed reading this new chapter everyone.
