Leslie is up to something, and it has something to do with her cousin Delilah S. Silver, and she will help her and also get the truth out, but this is going to be something ya'll didn't expect to happen. Chapter 508: Leslie, and Delilah and the truth…
(February 12, Royal Woods Middle School.)
We now see Delilah going through her locker and she smiles when she sees her motivational poster of a Machamp lifting a Snorlax. But then someone calls out to her. "Delilah, cousin…"
Delilah sees who it is and smiles and she closes her locker. "Hey there Leslie. What's happening cousin? Also, where's Carmelina?"
"Busy with her boyfriend and helping with setting up the prom" replied Leslie and then she looks sternly at Delilah. "Cousin, we need to talk. I have been noticing this ever since you encountered Darrel and you have stopped in telling him how you feel."
Delilah is surprised to hear this and she chuckles. "Leslie, I…"
Leslie then continues. "You are one of the smartest and nicest students here and have done so many hard working and multitasking stuff with the clubs you help manage and operating the entire chess club and you always show bravery and determination."
Delilah then is confused. "Leslie…"
"You never backed down from challenges or even flinched away from the sight of what could be difficult or impossible to perform and do and you are legit a courageous girl who can talk to others or have them back off and for some reason talking to someone you have a crush on just makes you moonwalk away."
Delilah then grabs Leslie. "Leslie! Stop talking! I don't have a crush on Darrel anymore!"
Leslie remains silent and surprised, she then blinks and snaps out of it. "Wait. Wait. Hold the phone there, what?! When?!"
Delilah then calms down and she explains. "It happened last month. Darrel has a girlfriend and he always had one since the start of Middle School. They're having a long distance relationship and are both still strong and loyal to each other and I'm fine with it. At first I was kinda disappointed knowing he's got someone else already, but then I calmed down and understood. Sorry for not telling you about that one, I guess it slipped out of my mind."
Leslie remains silent, she is baffled and truly surprised and she didn't see this one coming. But then something comes to her thoughts. "Wow… Just, wow. Delilah, I'm so sorry about that. I didn't even know, and I am glad you were able to understand and leave it be. I was just…."
"Looking out for me?" asked Delilah and she smiles. "All is good, cousin. I understand and thanks for the concern and…"
Then someone walks by them and that someone is the former school bully, Taylor and she greets the duo. "Hey there, Silvers." Taylor high fives and fist bumps with Leslie, and she winks and waves towards Delilah.
Leslie smiles seeing Taylor. "See you around Taylor." But then she notices the nervous look coming from her cousin, and this has her confused. "Delilah, are you doing alright?"
Delilah then looks nervous and she stutters. "Y-Yeah, I am. J-Just, something… That I ate this morning?" she then tries to change the subject. "So, ummm… What were we talking about again?"
Leslie then realizes what is happening and she is wide eyed. "Oh-M. Goodness, Gracious me. Delilah, you have a crush on Taylor?"
Delilah then covers the mouth of her cousin. "Shut it." She sees Taylor is no longer around, and then she explains. "Yeah, I guess I do, I have a crush on Taylor and that kinda sparked during the time I had a crush on Darrel."
Leslie is amazed, and then she asks. "Delilah, when did this happen? How did this even happen?"
Delilah sighs and then she explains. "It all started, last year…."
(Flashback!)
The Middle School days are going on as usual, and we see Delilah going down the hallway and evading the areas where Lynn Jr. is on Hall Monitor duty, and she is panicking. "Dang it! Dang it! I am so late, I can't be late. I have never ever been…" She then collides with someone, and that someone is new.
"Oh, sorry about that. I was just in a rush to…." Delilah sees who it is, and they are by the window and the lighting from the window shows this girl who looks mean and rebellious in nature, and yet she has this aura that shows that she is not like that, and because of the lighting this girl looks kinda beautiful.
The girl known as Taylor extends her hand out. "Hey, don't sweat it. I was the one who should be sorry, and also I didn't think there'd be anybody out here besides that dumb sports loving ponytail weirdo, Loud." She helps Delilah back to her feet, and she hands her the bag back. "Also, you look like the smart kinda gal, best head on to classes before you get late. Detention is meant for mean kids, like me and not cutie smart gals like you."
Taylor winks and smirks, and then walks away, and Delilah watches her leave and she is still amazed and at a loss for words. Delilah looks to her hand, and she recalls how soft, and smooth the hands of Taylor is, and then she recalls that this is the same girl who is a bully to Lincoln and his friends from the bus. 'For someone mean, she seems… Kinda nice, and pretty.' Delilah then heads off to class, and she manages to evade a patrolling Lynn Jr. too.
(The present.)
Leslie is at a loss for words, and then she looks to her cousin. "Oh, my…. I didn't know… And it took place right after the bus thing…" She then looks to her cousin. "Delilah, you're bisexual?"
Delilah nervously nods. "Yeah, I am. I didn't even knew that, until after I met Taylor and the whole thing is still a little new to me still and I told my parents and they're alright with it. Still, I wanna tell Taylor how I feel but it's so nerve wrecking and I have been trying to figure something out, but I don't know if they will work."
"Hey, hey." Leslie holds her cousins hands. "Calm down, and listen to me. I have been through the same thing too, recall that I am dating Stella Zhau, and we're going steady and alright and always romantic towards each other. I can help you figure this out, I got your back."
Delilah is happy to hear this, but then something else comes to her mind that is concerning. "But… But, I don't even know if Taylor would like me back. I don't know if she is also sorta into girls."
Leslie can see where this is going and she speaks. "Delilah, calm yourself and listen to me. I kinda had the same issue as well, but then it worked out and I knew Stella was also into girls, and we might not know if Taylor is the same as well. But this won't stop eating inside you're head until you confess to Taylor. I can't promise anything of what could happen next, but to just brace for what is next to come."
Then Leslie has an idea. "Or, ask her to prom. If she says yes, then that's proof enough."
Delilah is surprised to hear this, and she is confused but then she calms down and she is about to speak, but someone else does. "If you are gonna ask me to go with you as your date to the prom, then sure I will." Hearing that voice stuns both Leslie and Delilah, they know that voice. They both turn around and they see Taylor is right there, and she smiles. "Hey Silvers."
They did not even see that coming, and then Delilah asks. "Ummm, how long have you been standing there and how much did you hear?"
Taylor goes over, and she speaks. "I heard all of it and I am surprised that you both were unaware of me being right here." She then looks nervous and she blushes. "I never knew you felt that way towards me, because I am a lesbian gal. I thought you were kinda cute, and when I became part of the friends group, I saw how pretty and amazing and nice you are, and super smart and brave too."
This makes Delilah blush madly, that her head is now red like a tomato, and this makes Taylor giggle. "Cute, as always, and even when you're all nervous and such. I guess, I'll see you at the prom, Delilah." She does boop Delilah's nose and she walks away.
Delilah is a total shock, and she is still red as a tomato. "I feel… All warm, and giddy inside and…" She then smiles and has determination. "I am so ready for prom!" she then looks to Leslie and hugs her. "Thank you for helping me cousin!" She then departs and takes her leave, to make a plan for her prom night with Taylor.
Leslie is left in the halls, confused and still shocked. 'What the heck just happened?'
A/N: Yup, looks like Delilah has a girl on her mind, a former bully and both look forward to prom night. I know you guys didn't expect this to happen. I do hope that you all enjoyed reading this new chapter everyone.
