Komet is riding one of Cendrillmon's bird familiars, who are taking Team Twilight to the meeting place. At the moment, Sonne and Lua are in their Child forms - Coronamon and Lunamon - riding different familiars. They currently fly over badlands. Komet stares at her to-do list and sighs in disappointment, especially because she has yet again to shift her focus to something else before advancing with Hydra's case. "Patience, Tayna, patience… We'll find a way to solve everything…" She closes her notepad and stores it back in her smartwatch as soon as she notices that Lua is trying to get her attention by waving frantically at her.
"Look! Look! It's Quettas!" says Lua, pointing towards the horizon
She looks at it and sees the skyline of the metropolis. "Oh wow! I wasn't expecting to see somewhere like Soutriver here-"
Suddenly, the three familiars quickly drop sideways to a lower level, flying dangerously around hoodoos. The team grip tight on them as they hear something flying over them: a big military aircraft monster heading towards Quettas.
"What the hell?" says Komet, nervously looking towards the tiltrotor Digimon. "T-This is giving me bad vibes already"
"I do not believe they would properly enforce the lockdown without proper military force" says Sonne
She shudders. "I was expecting the Angels to do that, not an actual Digimon police!"
The birds take a different trajectory, and after some time, they land in front of a cave. Komet pets the birds on the head and thanks them. Then, she returns Sonne and Lua to their current highest forms: Flaremon and Lekismon.
"Bancho Lilimon is the name of who we are looking for, right? A strong looking flower girl in black and yo-yo in her hands. I see no one yet. Is she late?" Lua says, looking around already a bit annoyed.
"What's up?"
The team turns around. It's Bancho Lilimon, playing with her yo-yo. She's just a bit taller than Komet.
"Are you the fellas I'm looking for? Hmm… A lion, a bunny and a non-Digimon. Yep, you are the ones"
Komet approaches her. "Oh hi! Yes, we are! I'm Komet, and these are Sonne and Lua!"
Lua looks at Bancho Lilimon top to bottom, and raises a brow. "They said it would be a strong looking person, not a-"
Bancho Lilimon quickly grabs Lua's arms and throws her to the floor into submission, twisting her arm so she can't react much. Sonne and Komet give one step back in surprise.
"AAAAH! Help me!" screams Lua while wincing
"Nope, that was entirely your fault" says Komet
Bancho Lilimon twists the bunny's arm a bit more.
Lua slaps the floor three times. "Ouch! Ouch! Okay, I get it! Now please, release my arm! You are strong as hell!"
The flower girl smirks. "No shit! Why else would I have the title of bancho? I rock, and you suck"
She scowls but says nothing.
Komet frowns and grits her teeth. "Oh no… I recognize that attitude…"
"Wassup!" says someone else
The group looks towards the other voice. They see two Digimon walking in their direction with such confidence that it feels like they think they own the world. The first is a bipedal lion with white mane, wearing a black jacket over his shoulders and a commissar cap. He is almost 3 meters tall - a bit taller than Sonne - and holds a sword. The second is…
"Another pea monster!" thinks Komet
It's a Mamemon. As expected, he is shorter than Komet. He also wears a black jacket over his 'shoulders' and a commissar cap. He holds two metal bats.
"Oh, look! You guys are really capable of arriving in time! Good job, I'm so proud!" Bancho Lilimon scoffs
"Who do you fucking think I am? It's this shithead that is always late, y'know?" says the Mamemon, pointing at the white-maned lion with his bat
The lion punches his hand twice. "Of course I'm here on time! I was promised that we are gonna beat the shit out of the D-Brigade, after all"
"Oh, shit… We are already in trouble, huh…" thinks Komet
Bancho Lilimon gently facepalms and shakes her head. "Don't mind those dumbasses. These are Bancho Leomon and Bancho Mamemon. They are just happy that we have a good reason to provoke the D-Brigade again. Any reason is a good reason actually!"
"...they are delinquents. Troublemakers. Ringleaders. The 'bancho', Drake's favorite trope"
"So, the other two are not coming?"
"I heard that Stingy is already doing stuff somewhere else, while Goley… Just didn't want to come. Can't believe that brute will really sit this one out!" says Bancho Leomon
"I heard we're gonna escort some fellas to Quettas" Bancho Mamemon looks towards Team Twilight and points at them, raising an eyebrow. "Those wimps there?"
"Don't be so harsh, Mamy! The trio right there dethroned Scrivale's prince who turned out to be an evil tyrant or something, and saved my lil sis. She told me how they fought like true warriors, facing danger with bravery and yada yada" says Bancho Lilimon
"Got my points already" says Bancho Leomon
"Oh, really? Cool!" Bancho Mamemon gives a grin. "What happened to the Mamemon there?"
"They have been enslaved by the new queen, a sentence for their evildoings" says Sonne
"Heh, serve those traitors right. Glad that the delusional ruler lost everything too. His only redeeming factor is that he was killing Infecteds"
"Even that was fake. He was just a coward!" says Lua
"Why am I not surprised?"
"Well well, all that talk will get us nowhere! I want action! Action!" says Bancho Leomon. "But first, tell me something: why do you need to go there? I hope we weren't called to take a bunch of kids on a tour. We're no babysitters, y'know?"
"I, uh… There's a place in Quettas called Central Network Palace. My homeland is in danger, and I need to go there to save my homeland from… From the Corrosion Virus, before the Angel Army destroys everyone from there" says Komet
Bancho Leomon rubs his chin. "That's very brave of you and all, but I didn't feel much conviction there. Where's that 'oomph' in your words?"
She puts a serious look on her face. "I'll save my homeland and bring justice to a friend. If the Angel Army stands in my way, I'll beat them"
"That's more like it, I love the sound of that! Big words. But can you really pick this battle?"
"We can and we will! We already fought a lot of problems that got in our way and we never stopped because of that!" says Lua. She proceeds to babble about their achievements, and of course, she has to say the line that it's because her team is awesome.
"That's a lot of things you have under your belts - if you are telling the truth, that is" He looks at Bancho Lilimon. She nods. Then he looks at Bancho Mamemon. The pea looks unconvinced.
"Too much big talk for someone that feels small" says Bancho Mamemon
Lua scowls, feeling like making a snarky comment, but this time she decided to keep it to herself.
The Mamemon walks towards Komet and pushes her head up with his bat. "You are the leader of the bunch, aren't ya? Just so you know: we are no fucking bodyguards. If - I repeat - IF we accept your request, you have to tag along at all times. I want no wimp being a dead weight in my back"
Komet attentively listens to him.
He lowers his bat, grabs one baseball and hits it with force. The ball hits the ceiling of the cave, causing an explosion and making a huge portion of it collapse. He looks back at her. "Facing the D-Brigade is hard as hell, y'know? It's even worse now that a lot of them are gathered there. And on top of that, there's Cherubimon. Sure, I love to beat the police up, but the authority of the Digital World is there too, and we have no reason to mess with him yet. I ain't wasting my time to take some sissies on my back". He hits his bat on the floor. "You want the help from the BAN-TYO? Then you have to earn it. Battle me. All three of you against me!"
"Oooh, that's an awesome idea, Mamy!" says Bancho Lilimon, clearly showing her enthusiasm
"A duel" Bancho Leomon nods, also enjoying the idea. "The best way to see if they are worth our help. Will you accept it or cower?"
Komet looks at the cave that the Mamemon destroyed with ease, swallows hard and looks back. "We accept"
Bancho Mamemon smiles confidently. "Good, because you would've had to battle even if you declined, girlie. You already wasted our time, after all" He jumps farther away from the cave, facing Team Twilight. He hits his bat with each other twice, making them sparkle from the impact. "Bring it on!"
"W-wait, right here, right now? What if the police-"
"Did I stutter?"
She grits her teeth and looks at Sonne and Lua. "Alright, team. You know the drill. Do not underestimate him because of his size" She summons Ogremon's bone club to her hand and points at the bancho. "Let's take him down! Do the honors, Lua!"
Lua focuses on Bancho Mamemon.
Bancho Mamemon. Stage: Ultimate. One of the only five Digimon that have acquired the title of "Bancho" - a title given to those who continue to emerge victorious in battles with fierce champions, without their spirit being broken. He fights strongly in spite of his small stature, and has a personality that sports deeply overflowing emotions. As with Bancho Leomon, he wears a GAKU-RAN that negates the impact of physical attacks, and this defensive effect is often used to protect its companions.
"An Ultimate, huh… And they really take that name seriously, huh? We'll not let this stop us" she thinks, feeling a bit more nervous.
Sonne and Lua charge towards him, starting with long distance attacks to help analyze how he deals with certain attacks.
"Tear Arrow!"
"Purifying Roar!"
As expected, Bancho Mamemon uses his cape to defend from the ice stakes, and dodges the burning roar. "Thousand Blasting" He blasts the two with a lot of baseballs. Lua is launched away by the impact, but Sonne resists it.
"Gurenjuouha!" Sonne fires a lion shaped fireball at him from his fist, but the bancho dodges it by jumping away. So Lua jumps towards him, readying a diving kick. "Moon Night Kick!"
Bancho Mamemon uses his cape again, negating all the power from Lua's attack. He notices Sonne coming from his left with his fists and legs clad on fire, and quickly moves his body to fling Lua at him.
Sonne cushions Lua from the impact - which creates a little crater on the floor - and looks towards the bancho, who quickly dives in their direction, readying his bats.
"Golden Rush!"
Sonne quickly parries the bats with the arcs from his arms, but Bancho Mamemon keeps pushing it harder until Sonne and Lua are launched away again.
Komet watches the battle, where Bancho Mamemon seems to have the upper hand at all times. "Holy crap, he is very strong and very fast…!"
Bancho Lilimon raises a brow. "Won't you join your friends? Are you really gonna let them do everything by themselves?"
Komet smiles confidently and raises her left arm, displaying her smartwatch. "We are already doing this together. Just sit back and watch!" She presses the 'Command' function. "Sonne! Lua!'
The two Digimon take their positions, ready to follow the plan. Lua runs towards Bancho Mamemon and launches her ice stakes, in which the bancho just defends with his jacket again.
"Purifying Roar!" Sonne attacks from the side where the opponent left uncovered, hitting him square.
Bancho Mamemon rolls twice on the floor and immediately jumps back up. "Heh, good job, you've finally hit me"
"It's just as I thought. The cape protects against physical attacks, but not things such as fire, so we won't use it to defend himself" says Komet
He sneers at her. "So this is how you 'fight', huh? Like those D-Brigade scums, the commander stays in comfort while the others do the dirty work. But we all know what they do when the danger comes to them" He quickly rushes towards her, hitting one bat with the other and then opening his arms wide.
She motions a swipe as she looks serious, summoning Minervamon's sword midair, which falls and gets stuck on the floor, just in time to defend it from Bancho Mamemon's attack. She goes around the sword, grabs his jacket and pulls it with a lot of force, making him tumble. "Don't assume things about me! Hone Konbou!"
With the electrified bone club, she swings at his face, who he easily defends with his bat. He smirks. "That's some positive surprise! Too bad it's far from enough. Strike of the Man's Spirit!"
He extends chains from his jacket and quickly binds her arms tight. Komet tries to break free, but her struggle is not enough. She looks at Sonne.
Sonne looks at her, then at Lua and then nods. They both rush to the bancho readying their attacks. When he is about to shield himself with the jacket, Komet grabs it with her legs and pulls it away from his hand, making him take the icicle attack and the fire punch, resulting in releasing her from the chains in the process. Both Digimon attack him in synchrony, not giving him time to react, and Lua finalizes by kicking him away.
Bancho Mamemon bounces on the floor a few times and sits up. "Impressive…!" He wipes his face, seeing a bit of blood on his hand, then stands up. Sonne and Lua rush towards him again, but he just hits his baseballs with his bats and easily blasts both with his attack. "Now that I've warmed up, I can start fighting for real!"
Komet gets shocked when she sees both on the floor, struggling to get up. "Were you just holding back?"
"What? Did you really think I was using my full power? Hell no! Strike of the Man's Spirit" He grabs both Sonne and Lua with the chains, hits them into each other and throws them towards the lass, while walking in her direction menacingly. "Is this all you got? Damn, you suck, huh?"
She grits her teeth and runs closer to her friends. "Sonne! Lua! Get up!" She desperately shakes them, but they don't respond. So she pulls Lua closer to Sonne, summons Minervamon's shield and stands in front of them.
"Heh, do you still think y'all are a match for me? Wake up for life, girlie!"
"It's not over until it's over!"
"Alright, if you say so! Then let's get this over! Golden Rush!"
She places her shield in front of her to brace the attack, while charging the club with electricity, but the bancho jumps over her and swings his bat with full force towards her. She tries to follow the attack, but it's too late. He is faster.

Komet whips her head towards the noise and sees Bancho Leomon parrying the attack with his sword.
Bancho Mamemon lowers his bats, fixes his cap and gives a smile. "Aight, you passed!"
These words echo in Komet's mind.

"H-huh? Passed what? I was humiliated by you!"
"Yeah, obviously, you are just a small fry after all!"
"Hmph!"
"But now you have my attention, you did it"
"'Attention everyone, I mopped the floor with that tryhard'. Awesome"
"Haha! I see, I see, your pride is broken. Normal for people like us. You lack skills, but this is an easy fix. What really matters is that you have something that not many people do, something I like a lot. Soooo…-"
"Hello? You awake?" asks Bancho Lilimon, shaking Komet hard by her shoulders
The lass gasps in surprise, coming back to reality, then she frowns.
The flower bancho forces a smile on Komet with her fingers. "Don't look at me like that! We just said that you passed, you dumbass!"
Bancho Leomon gives her a thumbs up. "You are now an honorary member of the BAN-TYO! Welcome to the pack. Stick with us, do as we say and you will have our backs!"
"I-I thought I had to win" Komet stammers
Bancho Mamemon snorts in laughter. "Did you really think you could beat me?"
"Well, isn't that why they are joining us? They had that fire on their eyes despite you showing your superiority" Bancho Lilimon says
"Heh, that's true" He turns to Komet and shakes her hand. "Well fought. You even made me break a sweat"
Bancho Lilimon pokes him hard. "Only a sweat?"
"OUCH! You bitch, that hurts! I didn't expect to take that much damage, okay? Now, leave me alone while I recover!" He limps towards the broken cave and sits down, looking grumpy.
She laughs while watching the pea monster retreating, making sure to point at him. Then she looks back at Komet, who now crouches next to her friends with deep worry.
"Don't worry" says the flower bancho. "They will wake up soon. He didn't cause lethal damage or something"
Komet nods, still worried. "By the way… Why is there a lockdown in Quettas?"
Bancho Leomon shakes his head. "We don't know, but we hate it. It was our favorite place to hang out until the D-Brigade swarmed that place at the command of Cherubimon. To make things worse, a lot of people there don't even care about it! Just gives us a reason to kick their asses, dammit!"
"Don't worry darling, we do have a reason now! Aren't we gonna help the trio here? If Cherubimon and the other angels are really a threat to our new buddies, then they are our enemies too!"
The lion nods, getting fired up. He punches his open hand. "It's time for some JUSTICE!"
"So, you didn't attack your 'archnemesis' here yet because they are under the request of Cherubimon, and now that I joined, you believe in my cause and see the Angel as a threat, is that right…?" asks Komet
The two delinquents nod.
Komet swallows hard
Time passes. The sun is setting. Lua and Sonne woke up, and together with Bancho Mamemon, they all got basic treatment from Bancho Lilimon. Currently, they sneak towards Quettas.
"Holy crap, there's police everywhere!" says Lua, gritting her teeth
"A big city requires a big force to keep surveillance," says Sonne. "May I ask you something, Bancho Leomon?"
Bancho Leomon wraps his arm over Sonne's shoulders. "Of course, fellow lion! Go ahead!"
The Flaremon feels a bit uncomfortable by the unexpected contact, but lets it slide. "I would like to know the reason for your group to despise the D-Brigade"
"Well, that's an easy one! I do justice! I follow my justice! And to achieve justice, sometimes you need to break the laws, and those idiots stand in my way in breaking the laws. I do what's right, and if they don't like it, I beat them up!"
"Oh"
"I like that!" says Lua. She looks up, dreamy. "Who knows one day I will become a Bancho Lekismon!"
They keep walking until they reach one of the many entrances to the metropolis. The place is full of dinosaurs in military armor, holding a shield and a grenade launcher.
Komet gasps. "My gods! That's so many of them!"
"I know, right?" says Bancho Leomon, opening a big and excited smile. "That's gonna be fun!"
"Wait, huh?"
"Don't worry, darling, Hi-Commandramon are just Adults!" says Bancho Lilimon
"Uuh… Isn't it better if we just try to sneak in in silence…?"
"Nah. Now you go there and distract them for us"
The lass flinches and frowns. "W-wait! Do you want to make me an enemy of the police too?"
"I mean… Aren't you already an enemy of the police in your 'homeland'? You break laws and stuff, a criminal in their eyes" says Lua
"Sure, but… That doesn't mean I-"
"Oh, you have experience already! Before we rumble, we need to do something with the surveillance cameras. Take them away from the sentry box and use this." Bancho Leomon gives Komet something that looks like a pendrive. Then, he grabs her by her clothes and throws her towards the entrance. "You can do it!"
The lass rolls twice before stopping behind a rock. "Goddammit, really?" She sees Sonne looking at the situation incredulously, but she gestures that everything is fine. She also sees the banchos giving her thumbs up. She groans and facepalms, then starts feeling tense. "They didn't give me a choice. I guess I have to do it. Let's hope I'm not rusty then"
She looks at the pendrive, then over the rock and sees the sentry box, where a smaller armored dinosaur sits inside in front of a control panel. Next to it, a lot of Hi-Commandramon patrol the area. She scans around to spot more hiding and blind areas. "If I throw anything in a straight line, they will immediately notice it came from here… If only I still had the boomerang to do something about it… Wait a second!"
She opens the storage of her smartwatch and summons Minervamon's shield and Ogremon's bone club to her hands, then she selects Minervamon's sword and summons it above and ahead of her. The sword falls on the floor and cracks it upon impact. The Hi-Commandramon immediately react to it, looking for whatever threat could be coming from above.
Komet runs closer to the sentry box and crouches next to it. "Okay, now to take on that little dinosaur…" She grips harder on the bone club, which starts to crackle with electricity. She quickly opens the door and wacks the dinosaur on the snout and yanks it out of the little room. Then, she gets the pendrive and inserts it in a port. The panel sparkles a bit, and when she looks at the screen, she sees that the recordings are being overwritten.
"You are done for!" says someone behind her, followed by the noise of a rifle being readied.
She freezes. Shots are fired. Then, noises of ricocheted bullets. When she finally whips her head towards the noises, she sees Bancho Leomon smiling, protecting her with his cape. Behind him, Bancho Lilimon knocks the small dinosaur out with her yo-yo.
Bancho Leomon gives her a thumbs up. "Well done! Now let's teach them a lesson before going in!" He grabs her by her waist and carries her closer to Sonne and Lua. Komet gasps when she sees the full dimension of the situation.
"How did this already become a war zone?"
Bancho Lilimon and Bancho Mamemon are fighting against big numbers of Hi-Commandramon. The dinos launch grenades at them while trying to shield their attacks, but they start falling on battle one by one. The banchos seem to be enjoying themselves.
"What are you waiting for? Go kick some asses!" shouts Bancho Leomon, placing Komet in front of her friends and already running into action.
"Aye aye captain!" says Lua, jumping into the battle
Sonne looks at Komet, awaiting for commands while still looking incredulously at the situation. "Komet, are you sure we should follow along with that group…?"
"D-don't worry, I know their kind, it's going to be okay, okay?" She gives a nervous smile
He squints. "Hopefully this is not related to your friend that kept involving himself in arguments and random fights. I wonder what you have gotten yourself into"
She flinches. "You still remember that?"
A grenade is launched at them, but a baseball hits it and explodes the grenade before reaching them.
"Are you two braindead? Move before you get yourselves killed, you dimwits!" shouts Bancho Mamemon.
Komet grabs Sonne's arm. "You heard him, now let's go!"
Sonne lets out a loud sigh, places Komet on his shoulder and joins the banchos in battle. The place gets very lit with so many grenades and fire attacks being thrown around. Every time Team Twilight seems to be in danger, one of the banchos protects them. Then, the area starts getting more silent, full of knocked out enemies and some fully destroyed. Suddenly, they hear noises coming from above.
"Aight fellas, Cargodramon is coming with reinforcements. Unfortunately we are here today for different reasons, so let's get in Quettas quickly!" says Bancho Lilimon
"Already? But I was just warming up!" says Bancho Leomon
"You heard her. Let's go!" says Bancho Mamemon
The group runs towards the metropolis. Komet looks behind her back and sees the tiltrotor monster hovering over the entrance, with a lot of small armored dinos jumping off it using ropes. Someone inside the Cargodramon flashes a searchlight, but everyone takes a turn to one of the alleys before getting spotted.
"I'm surprised that we didn't get caught in the end! We were basically displaying a big neon sign flashing 'hello! We are making trouble here'!" says Lua
"Are you still gonna underestimate us, stupid bunny? I guess I need to smack you so hard that it will send you back to the moon" says Bancho Lilimon
"Just wait until I become Bancho Lekismon!"
Komet grimaces. "Lua, please, it's not time for this!"
"Okay, fine! By the way… Komet! You were awesome in your infiltration! Sure, you almost got caught in the last act, but still, it's as if you had experience already!"
She looks away. "A-ah!"
Sonne looks at Bancho Leomon. "May I ask why Komet has to risk her life for the said distraction? I assume you already know she is the weakest of all of us"
He flashes a smile. "I had a feeling she could do it!"
"This, and the fact that the D-Brigade already knows our patterns, so someone different would do the trick differently, right?" says Bancho Lilimon
"Besides, the girlie and you two have our backs. You are honorary members of the BAN-TYO after all" says Bancho Mamemon
"What's the point of doing that if you are just gonna beat everyone up anyway?" asks Lua
The flower bancho points ahead. Lua looks in the direction and sees a surveillance camera.
"A virus was injected in the system, so they can't watch the area until they solve the issue, which will not take long. Getting in right away would be too predictable, they would follow us. They also don't need to know that your group is following us around. Besides, we wanted some time to fight before getting in"
"I think you mostly wanted to fight!"
Bancho Lilimon chuckles.
"They are delinquents. Troublemakers. Ringleaders. The 'bancho', Drake's favorite trope…" thinks Komet
"Don't worry, Team Twilight. This is our home. We know what we are doing. We know this place, and the most important part, we know our enemies. We are in this together!" says Bancho Leomon
"...They are not bad people. They are just rebels, fighting for what they believe. Justice, friends…"
They take one last turn and enter a house. Bancho Mamemon opens a trapdoor and motions everyone to get in. Sonne and Bancho Leomon are the ones that have the most trouble going inside because of their sizes. Inside the room, there are old couches, a table with a TV, a mini fridge and a door to a different room. The three banchos high five each other and sit on the couch, celebrating their delinquency.

The banchos start bragging between themselves about their fight, and Bancho Lilimon makes fun of Bancho Mamemon for underestimating Team Twilight in the duel. Lua joins the conversation to brag about herself, but it doesn't take long for Bancho Lilimon to start teasing Lua. Everyone seems to have a good time despite the mess.
Komet frowns. "Everything ended up fine. We can rely on them. They seem to be having a good time. Despite the mess, it was kinda fun. And yet… I'm feeling… Sad…? Upset…? Why…?"
"Hey Komet! Are you joining us?" asks Lua
"O-oh, I think I'm going to sleep now. I guess all that fight tired me out. Good night everyone!" She waves at them and walks to the same room as Sonne.
Sonne is already sleeping. He covers his tail, so the fire doesn't light the room, allowing the others to sleep in the dark. Komet lowers her head and sighs.
