Boku no Hero Academia: Custodian Izuku

Disclaimer: This is a crossover fanfiction story of 'Boku no Hero Academia' and 'Warhammer 40k' (yes, really). I own nothing of the two series other than the fanfiction stories that I make.

I am making this story for the sake of fun, fluff and awesome after writing a one-shot story of the same story concept. If I am able to somehow impress fans of Warhammer 40k or even move someone to tears, even better.

Also, if anyone wants to know how in the world I got this idea in the first place, please refer to the artist, Ryuusei (Mark II), who has made some awesome pictures of gender-bent primarchs. The link is: .us/pools/17320

Please note that while I am familiar with the Warhammer 40k setting, my actual knowledge of it is casual at best. Also, if the genderbent primarchs seem at least a bit OOC, please kindly consider the fact that their bodies (especially the traitor primarchs) have changed drastically after entering Izuku's world.

In case anyone asks how much crack I was taking in to come up with the idea, I am just going to say enough to make even a loyalist Adaptus Astartes trippy.

Chapter 19: To Decry The Dark Gods

It took less then an hour for people to realise that something horrible had happened to Deika City. Within that very same hour, the HPSC and the Japanese Government decided that cutting off any and all access to the admittedly-isolated city was vital for preventing whatever outbreak that had been unleashed in the city from spreading further. At the same time, various pro-heroes were called to gather at a designated location not far from Deika City.

Enji (a.k.a. Endeavour) and all of his sidekicks were among the first to arrive. The pro-hero wore a grim frown as he spoke to a middle-aged man with a tired-looking face, wavy beige-coloured hair that looked unkempt and an overall dishevelled appearance named Mera Yokumiru, "What's the situation?"

Yokumiru's usual tiredness was absent entirely as he grimly explained, "From what little intel we have gathered, Deika City has been destroyed by what's basically a bio-weapon that turns people into rotting cancerous monsters."

"Hence why you want my entire agency here," said Enji who then asked, "Have the infected left the city's premises?"

Mera shook his head and said, "No, they have not. In fact, they seem to be waiting for a signal to move outward."

"Then it is safe to assume that whoever created them has at least some level of control over them through means that are currently unknown to us," said Enji whose frown deepened as he considered the terrible implications. He then asked Mera, "Am I correct to assume that we may have to burn down everything?"

Mera sighed bitterly and said, "While saving uninfected survivors would be ideal, it may be too risky to even consider at this point."

Understanding the grim necessity of sterilising the city to ensure that the infection would not spread, Enji asked, "So why aren't the military involved? Surely our military has the weapons we need to destroy the infection from a safe distance."

"That's because the individuals responsible for the outbreak are still in the city's premises," said Madam President as she walked into the tent that served as a temporary base of operations for the heroes and the HPSC. Her frown deepened as she added, "Never mind the fact that they have the means of immediately teleporting themselves to another location via warp portals."

"Or a weapon of mass destruction to a different location for that matter," said Enji who understood the possibility.

Madam President nodded and said, "As such, you and your sidekicks, along with selected heroes and 'relevant allies', will be heading into the infection zone to not only destroy the infected but also stop the ones responsible for this terrible attack by any means necessary."

Enji raised an eyebrow and asked, "And who are those 'relevant allies'?"

"That would be us."

Enji's eyes widened as he recognised ten of the twelve tall girls, who had been living at U.A. High School since last year, enter the tent while dressed in combat armour that made them stand out. He then turned his attention towards Madam President and growled, "Is this some kind of sick joke?"

It should be noted that both Angron and Curze were absent in the group.

Unsurprised by Enji's response, Madam President said, "No, it is not. These girls will take part in the mission and, frankly speaking, not even All Might and Nedzu could have stopped them from coming here."

Sanguinius nodded and said grimly, "This attack has all the hallmarks of a terrible enemy that seeks to corrupt, if not destroy, all of mankind. An enemy that my sisters and I are unfortunately familiar with."

"And one of our siblings is a servant of that terrible enemy," said Guilliman.

Although it was no secret that the girls had mysterious origins that the HPSC had seen fit to not reveal to the general public, Enji realised that the truth of their origins might just be even more insane than whatever conspiracy theories various members of the public had come up since the past year.

-A short while later…-

Madam President, along with the ten girls who were once demigods, stood before the various pro-heroes, emergency personnel and even military soldiers who had gathered at the designated location and said, "I'm going to be blunt with all of you. The destruction of Deika City is caused by a villainous group known as the the League of Chaos Undivided, the same group responsible for destroying Jaku General Hospital and multiple cases of murder, rape and torture. One of their leaders is a sibling of the twelve girls who have been living at U.A. High School since last year. What is more, we have confirmation that the League of Chaos Undivided has access to powers beyond mortal comprehension because of that sibling's quirk."

"Wait… are you saying that these twelve girls have a sibling who is a villain and has sold her soul to the devil?" asked Moe (a.k.a. Burnin).

"It's not an entirely inaccurate description, unfortunately," answered Madam President.

Sanguinius stepped forward to speak before anyone could ask further questions, "While we understand that you desire answers, please realise that time is of the essence and we cannot afford to wait any longer. Once this matter has been dealt with, we will give you the answers that you seek concerning us and our traitorous sibling."

"It's rather rude of you to call me a traitorous sibling. Accurate by Imperial standards, but still rude."

Shocked by the feminine voice in their collective minds, everyone looked around in confusion before Guilliman said, "Lorgar, I see that you have been expecting us."

"Of course," said Lorgar who was using her new ability to make herself heard by everyone within a diameter of nine kilometres around her. Combined with her ability to project her soul out of her body, she was able to not only make herself heard by others but also listen to what the people she was spying on were talking about. She was also clearly smug as she added, "In fact, I've been wondering when some of my… sisters will show up to destroy the wonderful garden I've created in Nurgle's name."

Dorn's fury was clear for all to see as she growled, "Your 'garden' is little more than a malignant mockery that deserves to be purged from existence."

Vulkan nodded and swore, "We will burn you and your pestilent handiwork to ashes, traitor."

"Oh, I don't doubt your ability to destroy the garden that I've created," admitted Lorgar who then cruelly added, "But I doubt you and your 'pro-hero allies' can destroy it quickly enough to stop me from moving elsewhere to continue my divine work."

Understanding the terrible implications, Ferrus roared, "You dare flee from us and attack those who are unable to defend themselves from you and your accursed Dark Gods, coward?!"

"To answer both parts of the question, yes and yes," confirmed Lorgar who then "cheerfully" added, "Have fun stopping this garden from spreading further while my cultists and I go elsewhere to continue. Toodles!"

As soon as Lorgar stopped talking to her fellow former primarchs, the Pox Spawn that had been standing at the border of the city suddenly started moving forward. Although the Pox Spawn were by no means speedy, they were moving at a steady pace and each step forward caused the very soil to rot and decay.

Enji bit back a curse as he spoke, "We must act quickly!" He turned his attention to Madam President and asked, "Permission to head out and burn them down?"

Madam president nodded and said, "Permission granted to everyone who has gathered here. You're authorised to kill anyone who is possible threat."

Enji nodded back before he turned his attention towards his sidekicks and yelled, "Flaming Sidekickers, move out!"

"Yes, sir!" yelled all of Enji's sidekicks. Normally, pro-heroes would be against the idea of killing anyone but, given the horrific virulent mutations of the Pox Spawn, even they understood the cruel necessity of burning them to ash.

"We will move out as well. The sooner we destroy the plague here, the sooner we can try to locate Lorgar again and hunt her down before she causes too much damage," said Jaghatai.

Madam president nodded at the former primarchs and said, "Good hunting, everyone."

"This won't be a hunt. It'll be pest control," growled Russ as she followed her sisters to the front lines of what would soon be a battle that ordinary mortals would deem as nightmarish.

-Meanwhile, at U.A. High School…-

"Why's the whole school under lock-down?!" asked Minoru who was clearly starting to panic.

Not long after Nedzu announced to the whole school that Deika City had been destroyed by a terrible bio-weapon, he informed all the students to remain calm and return to their dorms to stay inside until further notice. Understandably, many students found it disturbing that Nedzu would have the whole school under lock-down for something that had happened in an entirely different city. The fact that all the students were authorised to use their quirks and support gear in self-defence for the duration of the lock-down did little to calm everyone's anxiety.

With ten of the twelve former primarchs at the Imperial Dorm away, Eri and Inko decided to seek shelter at the Bloodline Chapel while Izuku, Angron and Curze stood guard outside to protect it.

Ochako, who had observed Izuku, Angron and Curze acting with a way that was calm yet tense, said, "Whatever it is, it has to be related to Midoriya-kun and the girls at the Imperial Dorm."

Tsuyu nodded and said, "I just hope that things won't…"

Suddenly, everyone at U.A. High School could hear a feminine voice in their heads, "Students and teachers of U.A. High School, hear my words and weep!"

While everyone else was shocked by the sudden voice in their heads, Tsuyu weakly added, "-get any worse, kero."

Everyone was silent as the speaker, Lorgar, continued to speak, "My name is Lorgar Aurelian and I am one of the leaders of the League of Chaos Undivided! I have come before you all to give you a choice. You can choose to either join the league or oppose us. Should you choose to join us, power, glory and pleasure beyond compare will be yours for the taking! However, if you choose to oppose us, you will share the same fate as the people of Deika City!"

Before any of the students could respond, Angron roared with a fury that bordered to madness. Shocked by the roar that could be heard from even beyond the walls of the school, basically everyone was silent before Angron glared to the heavens and said, "My name is Angron Oenomaus and I was once made a slave to the Dark Gods that Lorgar still worships! Do not be fooled by her promises for no amount of power, glory or pleasure is worth having your very souls enslaved to those thirsting gods!" Thanks to hidden microphones and loudspeakers, Angron's warning could be heard by everyone in the school.

Suddenly a portal appeared and Lorgar stepped out of the portal to face Angron, Curze and Izuku. She was soon followed by the rest of the League of Chaos Undivided with the notable absence of Dabi, Haeto and Gokicha. Lorgar was smiling as she spoke to Angron, "Ah, Angron. I see that you've truly turned your back to Khorne."

Angron glared at Lorgar hatefully and yelled, "You of all people know that I never wanted to live as a slave and yet that was exactly the fate you have condemned me to when you turned me into a daemon prince of Khorne!"

Lorgar sighed mournfully and argued, "It was the only way to save you form the Butchers' Nails that were killing you. Besides, you deserved to be more than just a dying madman of a berserker."

"Dying as a despised madman would have been a kinder fate than being forced to live for all eternity as an equally insane, if not worse, daemon prince of slaughter!" yelled Angron. In truth, Angron was tempted to attack Lorgar but she knew that the former traitor primarch would not have entered the school without some sort of strategy to counter at least some of its defences. Besides, she needed to buy time.

"Speaking of living and dying," said Lorgar who then turned her attention towards Izuku, who was wearing a helmet that resembled that of a Cadian Kasrkin helmet, and said, "You must be Midoriya Izuku, the boy who has volunteered to be one of the custodians of my former brothers after discovering them."

Izuku, who was doing his best to hold his ground in spite of his justified unease, said, "I am. Where are Bakugou Katsuki and my other former classmates who have chosen to join you?"

"They are, to put it simply, dead and gone," said Lorgar who then bitterly admitted, "They were far more trouble than they were worth so I decided have them sacrificed to gain power for myself and the other members."

Although shocked by the revelation, Izuku was able to remain calm enough to not suddenly lash out or break down as he had not only accepted the fact that his former childhood friend was likely gone long before his fall to villainy but also remembered that he still had people that needed to be protected. He could break down later after the immediate danger of dying or worse had passed. Even so, he needed a moment to take a calming breath before he asked through gritted teeth, "You realise… that admitting that you have killed them won't convince anyone that joining you is a good idea, right?"

"Normally, that would be the case," conceded Lorgar who then frowned and added, "However, they didn't exactly make recruiting any new cultist any easier for me either."

In spite of his grief that Katsuki had died, Izuku could not help but speak with a dry tone as he asked rhetorically, "Let me guess, Bakugou's personality?"

No matter how much Izuku valued his childhood friendship with Katsuki and admired his former childhood friend's strength, even he was not blind to Katsuki's arrogant and aggressive attitude.

Lorgar sighed regretfully as she grumbled, "Among other issues that even I am willing to admit were not rectified by worshipping the Dark Gods."

Curze huffed and said, "Did you seriously expect the Dark Gods that thrive on deceitful ambition, raging hatred, stagnating despair and hedonistic excess to do ANYTHING that comes close to making someone less of a cruel bully or worse?"

Lorgar scowled as she argued, "I may be a deluded heretic by the standards of the fools who worship the Corpse Emperor but even I'm not that wilfully ignorant. It's just that their rage made them easy to convert and, issues with keeping them under control aside, they were exemplary worshippers of murder and torture."

"Hence why you chose to have them as your cultists while failing to consider the long-term issues that they would eventually cause," said Angron who was almost amused by Lorgar's clear aggravation.

"My bitter personal mistakes as a leader of a cult aside, I have come here to do more than just convert more people to my cause, willingly or otherwise," said Lorgar who then turned her attention towards Izuku and said, "I have also come here because I want to have a word with you, Midoriya Izuku."

"I'm assuming that you want to know if I'm aware of the horrible things that An-chan and the others have done in their past lives, correct?" asked Izuku.

Lorgar blinked at the unfamiliar nickname before she realised that Izuku had actually given Angron, the dreaded Red Angel, a cutesy nickname. Unable to help herself, she turned her attention towards Angron and raised an eyebrow as she asked incredulously, "Seriously? An-chan?" Tomura, Kurogiri, Karutoko, Shuuichi and Nezuko were equally surprised by the nickname that Izuku had given to Angron. Even if one disregarded her past as a former traitor primarch, her current appearance wasn't exactly one that inspired cutesy nicknames.

Despite the gravity of the confrontation, Angron blushed as she grumbled, "I like him, okay?"

Although Lorgar knew that the twelve former primarchs had been living together rather peacefully at U.A. High School for over a year, a feat that she was willing to admit was nothing short of miraculous given their past circumstances, she was not aware of just how close Angron was to Izuku. Part of the reason was that most of Lorgar's time as a projected soul had been spent communicating with the Chaos Gods, not spying on her fellow former primarchs. Between her desire to be close to her gods and the justified reluctance to risk getting detected by the other former primarchs in spite of being a projected soul, never mind the fact that a certain spy at U.A. High School had no obligation to report anything to the League of Chaos Undivided, Lorgar had never been able to get more than basic information of her fellow former primarchs.

A moment of awkward silence passed before Karutoko started scratching her cheek and asked, "Ish iht hweird thwat I hwant two lweave ahnd dwo thwis cwult stwuff anwother dway?"

Shuuichi scratched the back of his head and said sheepishly, "You're not the only one." Not even Khorne's demand for blood and Slaanesh's lust for torment, muted as they were due to not only Shuuichi's own lingering morals but also the fact that the Chaos Gods were in a literal alternate universe, could overcome the sheer awkwardness of the situation.

"What's this, a sudden genre shift to Rom-Com?" grumbled Tomura.

Realising that she was getting seriously sidetracked, Lorgar blushed a little as she coughed into her hand and said, "Anyway, unexpected relationship revelations aside, I actually want to know your opinion about the idea of worshipping the Dark Gods, Midoriya Izuku."

Confused by Lorgar's intention, Izuku asked, "Why would my opinion even matter to you?"

"If I'm to be perfectly honest, I'm simply curious about the you, the boy that my… late cultists have been obsessing about to the point of wearing my patience thin," answered Lorgar who then explained, "I may be willing to brush aside the idiotic prattling of fools who blindly worship the Corpse Emperor but, unless I'm terribly mistaken, you're not one of them. Even if you've chosen to side with the Corpse Emperor, my fellow former primarchs would never have let you become a blind worshipper of his supposed divinity. This, however, raises an interesting question of just how much do you actually know about the Dark Gods that I worship and your reasoning for refusing to serve them." She smiled darkly as she added, "Depending on how little you know the truth about the glory of the Dark Gods, I might even consider convincing you join us as a fellow cultist, willingly or otherwise."

Angered by the idea of Izuku becoming a slave to the Chaos Gods, Angron was about to attack Lorgar when Izuku stepped froward and raised his hand to stop her. He then asked Lorgar, "If I agree to tell you my honest opinion about the Dark Gods, you will not attempt anything that would risk interrupting me, correct?"

Lorgar wore an indulgent smile as she replied, "It would be rather rude and unprofessional of me to do anything of that sort."

Izuku glanced at Angron and Curze and nodded at them before he stepped forward while taking off his helmet. Hoping that his action would buy the pro-heroes and former primarchs the time they needed to put an end to the outbreak at Deika City, as well as give other pro-heroes the time they needed to fully prepare for any possible attacks at both U.A. High School and possibly elsewhere, Izuku took a deep breath before he looked at Lorgar in the eyes and said, "I have heard many things about the Dark Gods of Chaos and their worshippers. A lot of terrible things in fact. However, even though I cannot fault anyone for being afraid, disgusted and hateful towards the Dark Gods and their followers, I simply cannot help but feel… pity towards them with either sympathy or disappointment."

Genuinely surprised by the answer, Lorgar asked, "Pity, you say? Even for the Dark Gods?"

Izuku nodded and confirmed, "Even for them."

Intrigued by Izuku's clearly sincere opinion that tickled her desire for intellectual debate, Lorgar asked, "And what… 'theories' do you have to support such an opinion?"

"I'd like to start my explanation with the mortal worshippers, if you don't mind," said Izuku.

Lorgar nodded and said, "Go on."

"Assuming that the mortal worshippers are not victims of being coerced or forced to serve the Dark Gods, their reasons for worshipping them can be roughly divided into two categories: desperation to somehow overcome a horrible situation and an inability to control themselves," explained Izuku who then added, "Of the two categories, I can sympathise with the first one as I have been a victim of bullying and discrimination due to being born quirkless. What makes the first category even more tragic is that, for all the pain I have endured, I know for a fact that there are those who have suffered far worse than I due to circumstances beyond their control such as being born into an abusive family or worse." He wore a pained expression as he thought about Eri, Angron, Curze and the countless citizens of the Imperium as he elaborated, "At the very least, even before I met An-chan and the others, I had, and still have, a loving mother and an idolised hero who, while not perfect, are genuinely good people who want the best for me. There are people, in both this world and the other, who don't even have those."

"Are you… actually admitting that, had circumstances been different, you would have willingly chosen to serve the Dark Gods?" asked Lorgar who was surprised that Izuku was actually making such an admission. She knew that Izuku was no fanatical slave to the Corpse Emperor but his honest admission to personal weakness was still surprising.

"I like to think that such a thing would never happen but, if I had been forced to endure even more suffering, who knows what I would have done to somehow end it," said Izuku who then said, "The fact that there are people who have suffered so much worse than I and yet are still able to not give in to the extremes of ambition, hatred, despair or desire, regardless of whether the Dark Gods are involved or not, is nothing short of humbling."

"You know someone in this world-planet who has suffered-hurt worse than you?" asked Nezuko who could not help but be curious.

Izuku thought of Eri as he nodded and, with grim conviction, said, "I do and I will not hesitate to face the Dark Gods themselves to protect her and those like her from their evil."

Lorgar smiled and thought, "Nurgle would have liked him for sure." She then asked, "And what of the second category?"

Izuku frowned as he answered, "While I do pity the people of the second category, I also can't help but be disappointed in their inability to discipline their ambition, anger, stagnation and hedonism." He then added, "While there is no denying that the two categories can overlap, the simple fact is that people in the second category often choose a darker path even when they have every reason and chance to choose otherwise."

"Like a certain Bakugou Katsuki, I imagine," said Lorgar who was not only bringing up a logical example but also wanted to provoke Izuku.

Although her words were like salt to a still-bleeding emotional wound, Izuku stood firm as he replied, "That's… one example, unfortunately."

Amused by Izuku's attempt to remain calm, "So, to be clear, you find people in the second category disappointing because they simply cannot control their urges to control, kill, destroy and torment, correct?"

Izuku nodded and said, "Regardless of whether the worship of the Dark Gods is involved or not, such people have a tendency to bring misery upon others and, at times, even themselves."

"Yourself included, I imagine," said Lorgar.

Certain that Lorgar was trying to provoke him, Izuku took a breath to calm himself before he turned his attention towards Nezuko and said, "Do you remember when I said that I know someone who has suffered far worse than I have, even in this world?"

Nezuko nodded and replied, "Yes, I remember-know."

"It is not my place to give all the details, especially to an enemy, but I can tell you this much: That girl, who has not even started middle school, was forced to endure the agony of being torn apart and then put together so that parts of her own flesh and blood could be harvested to achieve a cruel man's mad ambition for domination and control," said Izuku who then grimly added, "And she was forced to endure it multiple times before she finally got rescued."

Shocked by the revelation, Nezuko gasped and said, "T-that's horrible-awful!" Even Tomura was shocked by what Izuku had said.

Izuku turned his attention back towards Lorgar and glared at her in the eyes as he growled, "It is true that I have suffered in the past and that the person who was once my childhood friend chose to join your damnable cult instead of letting go of his hatred towards me, but do not speak as though I have not mentioned that others have suffered even worse than I have."

Lorgar raised her hands in mock surrender as she spoke, "My apologies, I just cannot help but wonder how that brat ever got the ridiculous notion that you've been mocking him for being so weak that even a 'worthless Deku' could stand up to him."

Had Izuku not learnt about what Katsuki had thought about him from Mitsuki and Masaru, he would have been shocked by his former childhood friend's claim. As he had already known that fact, he could only shake his head and said, "Honestly speaking, I still cannot understand how he could have come to such a conclusion but I think we can both agree that his pride and temper, never mind the constant praise he used to receive due to his quirk, did not encourage him to think any differently."

"That much I will agree, even with a loyalist slave of the Corpse Emperor," agreed Lorgar who then asked, "Are you going to speak of the immortal forces of the Dark Gods or do you still wish to speak about their mortal followers?"

"I will speak about the Dark Gods and their daemons soon but I wish to confirm one thing first," said Izuku who then asked Lorgar, "Just to be very clear, the four Dark Gods and their respective daemons are, to put it in the simplest of terms, the embodied amalgamations of emotions: ambition for Tzeentch, hatred for Khorne, despair for Nurgle and desire for Slaanesh, correct?"

"While your description is certainly simplified, it's not wrong either," confirmed Lorgar.

"Then it can be argued that the idea of worshipping them is not too different from the idea literally worshipping four different types of negative human emotions to the point of being enslaved to them, correct?" asked Izuku.

Lorgar raised an eyebrow and said, "That's not wrong either, admittedly. However, I would like to make it clear that even if the Dark Gods are not worshipped directly, just giving in to the emotions and thoughts that are connected to them are enough to count as indirect worship."

"So we can both agree that the Dark Gods and their daemons rely on these emotions to not only grow in power but also exist, correct?" asked Izuku.

Lorgar frowned as she replied, "Yes, but do you honestly believe that existing without feeling these emotions is even remotely possible for humanity as a whole?"

"I may not wish to worship the Dark Gods but even I'm not naive enough to believe that such a thing is possible," admitted Izuku who then added, "However, while we can both agree that the Dark Gods and their daemons are literal amalgamations of four kids of negative emotions and that it is impossible for humanity to stop feeling those emotions completely, I simply do not share your opinion that they are dark-yet-divine beings." He looked at Lorgar in the eyes as he made his claim, "As someone who admittedly only has second-hand information about the Warp, at best, it is my opinion that every single one of them, from the weakest lesser daemon to the Dark Gods themselves, is little more than a hollow, half-formed, PITIFUL PARASITIC PARODY of a true soul."

It should be noted that there were hidden microphones and loudspeakers so everyone at U.A. High School could hear everything that was being said throughout the conversation, including Izuku's declaration about the Chaos Gods. As such, a moment of stunned silence filled not only the school but even the immaterium of both Izuku's world and the original galaxy of the former primarchs.

Shocked by Izuku's claim, which was blasphemous by the standards of anyone who believed in the Primordial Truth, Lorgar stuttered, "H-how dare you claim that the Dark Gods are parasitic parodies of souls!? They, who possess powers beyond anything that your mortal mind and possibly even conceive?!"

Undaunted by the growing indignant fury in Lorgar's eyes, Izuku glared back in defiance and said, "You yourself have admitted that the Dark Gods rely on the negative emotions of humanity, if not every living being in the galaxy, to even exist let alone be powerful. While I will not recant my admission that it is impossible for humanity to exist without at least some of them feeling those emotions at any given moment, I will say that humanity has the potential to be so much more than just the negative emotions that they may feel, something which I am convinced is impossible for daemons and even the Dark Gods that you worship." He took a daring step forward as he asked, "Tell me, when was the last time Tzeentch thought of anything that did not involve cruel ambition, lies and trickery? When as the last time Khorne did anything other than drive his followers to new heights of slaughter and murder? When was the last time Nurgle allowed nature to heal and grow rather than infect everything with rot and decay? When was the last time Slaanesh allowed anyone to just be content without feeling the extremes of pleasure and pain? When was the last time any of the Dark Gods chose to not cause corruption and misery upon the material plane and its people?"

Lorgar nearly recoiled as she argued, "T-those questions are irrelevant! They are the Dark Gods of change, war, death and pain! What reason can they possibly have to be anything different?"

"The very fact that you're actually asking that question reveals the true blindness that has overcome you," said Izuku who then continued to speak with growing confidence and conviction in his voice, "You have mistaken their inability or unwillingness to be more than the evil traits that they embody to be a form of strength as 'primordial gods' when it should have been seen as a warning sign that reveals their true nature as abominable amalgamations of negative emotions that simply cannot exist without bringing corruption, misery and evil upon all that they touch." A golden flicker of light flashed through his eyes as he continued to speak, "I have met people who, in spite of the pain they had endured and the evils they had witnessed or even committed, have chosen the difficult path of recovery and possible repentance. I have met people who, in spite of bearing the sins of murdering countless lives and worse, have chosen to become better people even if doing so will never make up for their past misdeeds. I have met people who, even after being enslaved by the very Dark Gods that you have worshipped for millennia, have chosen to be more than just slaves to their darkest emotions." Izuku, whose eyes were currently showing unmistakable golden sparks of light, wore an audaciously brave smile that would impress even the likes of All Might himself as he concluded, "Compared to people like An-chan, as well as every man, woman and child who willingly chooses to reject Chaos for now and for always if given an actual chance, your Dark Gods are honestly miserable malformed monsters that can never be anything else other than pitiful parasites whose only real saving grace is their god-like levels of power."

Stupefied by Izuku's audacious claim, which was made even more shocking by the fact that he had never once claimed that the Emperor was in any way better than the Chaos Gods, Lorgar was at a loss for words while Tomura almost whistled as he thought, "Credit where credit is due, that brat has balls!"

Suddenly, the air started to warp as Khorne and Nurgle laughed in amusement while Tzeentch and Slaanesh screamed in apocalyptic fury. Tomura, Karutoko, Nezuko, Shuuichi and even Lorgar doubled over in pain as they could feel the marks of all four Chaos Gods resonate within their very souls. Lorgar's eyes were wide as she realised a shocking fact.

Even with limited knowledge, Izuku words had held to the truth with every breath that he had taken.

Neither Khorne nor Nurgle cared about the truth in Izuku's words. After all, there were few things more effective in causing rage and despair than undesirable truths that could not be proven untrue. Besides, hatred did not care about truth as long as blood was spilled and skulls were added to the skull throne while the inevitability of death and decay for all mortal beings could be seen as a form of awful truth that could never be disproved.

However, both Tzeentch and Slaanesh were enraged by that very same truth. Tzeentch was the god of change and evolution but, no matter how much change he could inflict upon others, he could never evolve beyond his base nature as an abysmal abomination that thirsted for souls and the extremes of cruel ambition. As for Slaanesh that was supposed to embody the obsession for perfection, what could be more imperfect than a pathetic parasitic parody of a true soul?

In spite of the differing reactions towards Izuku's words that could be seen as "untwisted weapons of truth", all four dark gods agreed on one thing: the boy had to die.

Lorgar glared at Izuku with unalloyed hatred as she roared, "Kill the aspiring champion of the Corpse Emperor!"

"Not on our watch, bitch."

Lorgar's eyes widened as a person dressed in purple and golden armour appeared before her and attempted to cut off her head. Only her quick reaction and barbed tail prevented her assailant, Fulgrim, from inflicting any damage upon her by forcing her to deflect the said tail.

As if a dam had been broken, both Angron and Curze charged forward. Angron roared in righteous fury as she swung her two axes at Lorgar who had to take flight to avoid getting cleaved into pieces. Undeterred by missing Lorgar, she continued to charge forward, forcing Shuuichi, Karutoko and Nezuko to dodge in an almost comical manner. While Angron forced the League of Chaos Undivided to scatter, Curze focused on attacking Kurogiri so that he could not be able to create any portals. Her ability to see visions of the future proved invaluable as none of Kurogiri's warp portals could slow her down let alone stop her or summon any of the deamons of the Warp.

Tomura was about to retaliate he saw what seemed to be a humanoid tank armed with enough guns and canons to make even an Ork Mekboy blush. Seeing all the guns and canons aimed at him, he could only say, "Frak!"

Understandably, Tomura had to focus on using his left hand to create a tall crystalline wall that blocked all the ballistic and energy projectiles that would have otherwise torn him, as well as possibly the other league members, apart. In fact, he had to completely focus on continuously altering the crystal wall so that it would not shatter from the deadly volley of projectiles.

Perturabo, who was the one wearing the powered armour that resembled a humanoid tank, frowned as the crystal still stood. She had hoped that the volley of projectiles would have killed at least one of the cult members. Suddenly, the crystal shattered into pieces as a wave of decay broke everything in a wide arc apart before turning into dust. Perturabo swore as she activated her jump pack and leapt into the air before attempting to shoot another volley at Tomura. However, just as she was about to fire another volley, Nezuko unleashed a torrent of green fire at her with mad khorne-possessed hatred in her eyes. Perturabo knew better than to withstand the incoming flame, which was most likely "blessed" by the Chaos Gods, so she activated her jump pack again to avoid it.

In spite of the situation, Lorgar smirked and said, "Well, since we won't be having any further discussion…" She used her ability to make herself heard within a nine kilometre diameter as she gave her command, "Haeto! Gokicha! Unleash your gifts upon this world!"

-About four kilometres from where the battle at U.A. High School was taking place…-

Haeto and Gokicha heard Lorgar's command and nodded at each other before they took flight thanks to the wings that Tzeentch had granted them. Their part of the plan was to cause as much chaos as possible by creating a plague of Maggot Spawn, which could metamorphose into Puke Flies, and Plague Mites. Then, if the resulting plague was large enough, command their respective creations to storm the school. However, just as they were about to start creating their first batch of Maggot Spawn and Plague Mites, a pair of flying swords which were sparking with power flew towards them. Had Haeto and Gokicha lacked the ability to sense incoming attacks, the swords would have torn their insectoid wings apart for sure. After narrowly dodging the two swords, Haeto and Gokicha turned their attention towards Keigo (a.k.a. Hawks) who was flying in the air.

"Assuming that I survive this day, I'm giving Vulkan, Dorn and Ferrus my thanks for creating these 'hollow power swords' that my largest feathers can fit into," thought Keigo as the two swords returned to his hands. He then wore a seemingly lazy smile and spoke to the two cultists, "Now, I'm not sure what you two are planning to do but I'm pretty sure flying high into the air and throwing things at the people below is a felony under most circumstances."

"What do you know about felonies?" growled Haeto.

"Well, considering that I'm a pro-hero, quite a bit, actually," replied Hawks who then wore a serious expression and added, "I may not know the exact reasons you two have for joining the League of Chaos Undivided, but I can make a guess or two. If you two stand down and not carry out whatever actions your leaders have told you to do, I will do what I can to lessen your punishments."

Heto made a buzzing snort and said, "Like any of you give a damn about mutants like us!" Before Keigo could act, Haeto spitefully splat a glob of his vomit at a tree. In just seven seconds, the three dissolved into a pile of rotting sludge from which seven puppy-sized Maggot Spawn emerged. Much like their larger original cousins, the Maggot Spawn were disgusting creatures of rot and decay with the disturbingly cheerful temperament of excited puppies. Fortunately, the stench and sight of the seven creature were enough to make everyone flee from them. Less fortunately, Haeto quickly ordered the seven creature to undergo their metamorphosis into Puke Flies.

Keigo frowned as he activated his two hollow power swords and said, "Have it your way, then." He then flew towards Haeto and Gokicha with the intention of crippling, if not killing, them. Realising that Keigo was willing to kill or cripple them, the two quickly retaliated. Haeto spewed more vomit from his mouth while Gokicha swung her arms wildly to spread as much of her Plague Mites into the air as possible.

Having sparred with Sanguinius, Keigo was even more skilled in aerial combat than before. As such, he was able to dodge and deflect every attack that came in his way with his swords that destroyed both the vomit and the mites. Alas, while he could avoid getting infected himself, he would not prevent the vomit and mites from falling onto the ground below. Thankfully, he did not need to as Gwalchavad stepped forward from the shadows and activated her ability to suppress not only quirks but also warp-based abilities. While her ability was admittedly indiscriminate towards any quirk and warp ability within a radius around her, she did not need to worry about accidentally rendering Keigo helpless as he was currently flying high in the air. Her eyes narrowed as she took out a sniper rifle, which was similar in design to the ones used by loyalist scout space marines, with the clear intention of shooting Haeto.

Sensing incoming danger, Haeto looked down and realised that a tall girl with dark skin, black hair and pale-grey eyes was about to shoot him with her rifle. His keen eyesight also allowed him to realise that the girl was somehow able to not only suppress the creation of Maggot Spawn but also kill all the Plague Mites around her. While dodging the shot, he made a buzzing war cry that caused the seven pupae to burst open.

The seven Puke Flies that emerged from the pupae flew towards Gwalchavad to take her out. However, as soon as the seven flies got into the radius of her quirk-cancelling ability, they started to weaken and slow down, making them easy targets for Mortarion to kill. Although Mortarion was wearing a face mask that people commonly used, her disgust was unmistakable as she aimed her gun, which resembled a bolt pistol, and killed the seven flies in rapid succession.

Shocked that his flies were killed off so easily, Haeto swore and said, "Goki-chan, we need to go elsewhere!"

Gokicha understood the need to get away from Hawks and two gunners below so she did not question Haeto's suggestion to go elsewhere to spread their plagues. In theory, they could try flying to U.A. High School directly but basically everyone knew that the school was heavily defended with automated defences, Kurogiri's ability to create warp gates that led into the school notwithstanding. As they fled, Haeto made another buzzing war cry that was even higher-pitched than before…

-Meanwhile, at a different location near U.A. High School…-

Before Lorgar's group entered U.A. High School, she made sure that Haeto and Gokicha produced some Puke Flies, which were covered with Pague Mites, and left them in seven locations around the school through the use of Kurogiri's portals. Haeto's higher-pitched war cry caused the flies, which were in groups of seven with seventy-seven mites clinging onto their bodies, to fly out of hiding and start attacking people.

As for how both Haeto and Gokicha could produce the flies and mites, Tomura saw no reason to refuse Lorgar's suggestion to have some of his Pox Spawn used as "raw materials". After all, the flies were a lot faster and more mobile than his Pox Spawn.

While the flies flew out of hiding, one group was suddenly intercepted by a seemingly invisible force that was causing them to weaken. This was followed by two flies, along with the mites on their bodies, being rapidly destroyed by the lashes of a whip which was made of special alloys and was sparking with energy that disrupted physical matter. The person responsible, Shouta (a.k.a. Eraser Head), grimaced at the foul stench and thought, "Even with the mask on, I can still smell it!"

It should be noted that Shouta was wearing a visor similar to one worn by 'Vindicare Assassins' to not only protect his eyes from injury and drying out but also reduce the risk of breathing in dangerous gases.

Realising that the pro-hero with the visor could weaken and kill them, the remaining five Puke Flies and and the Plague Mites on their bodies turned their attention towards him. He backed away from them while lashing with the whip in his right hand to kill another fly. Then, with his left hand, he drew a pistol-shaped gun that was actually a 'hand flamer'. He ignored the growing dryness of his eyes as the flames burnt down two more flies. The last two flies were about to attack him when two bullets hit the flies in the heads and landed with wetly sickening splats. Without the flies to carry them around, the mites were unable to avoid getting burnt down by the man's hand flamer.

Shouta sighed in relief as he thought, "I'm glad that Lady Nagant is on our side for this one."

-Meanwhile, on the top of a tall skyscraper near U.A. High School…-

A tall curvy woman with dark-blue and pink two-toned hair named Tsutsumi Kaina, who was also a former pro-hero and agent of the H.P.S.C. known as Lady Nagant, frowned as she thought bitterly, "To think that the 'bullshit story' is actually real."

As Kaina plucked some hair which then shaped itself into a bullet, she continued to think, "On the bright side, I don't have to feel guilty of killing these disgusting things, never mind the chance to have even a bit of freedom after all of this is over."

While loading the bullet-shaped hair into a hole on her right palm, which was connected to the rest of her right arm that had a biological rifle protruding from the elbow, Kaina recalled how the current president of the H.P.S.C., along with Nedzu, Lion and Icarian, approached her one day and gave her an offer. In exchange for her cooperation in taking out a "particularly deadly threat to humanity", she would not only be released from Tartarus prison but even be given a chance to start a new life. Although Kaina was not particularly eager to work for the H.P.S.C. again, due to her past as a disillusioned assassin of the H.P.S.C. who ultimately killed its previous president in retaliation, she also did not wish to spend the rest of her life trapped in prison either. Even so, she would have refused to accept any deals from the current president had Nedzu not opted to reveal certain "classified details" that boggled the mind. After being convinced that the said details were actually true, Kaina ultimately accepted the deal.

At the very least, getting to eat meals prepared by Lunch Rush instead of prison food due to being under Nedzu's employ would be an upgrade in Kaina's living standards.

Kaina looked through the scope attached onto her biological rifle and took aim at another fly before firing…

-One second later, at a different location…-

Hizashi (a.k.a. Present Mic), who had used his quirk to attract the attention of the seven Puke Flies and the Plague Mites on their bodies before they could attack anyone, was dodging the flies' vomit and the scattered mites. Fighting alongside with him was Nemuri (a.k.a. Midnight) who was wielding a whip similar to the one used by Shouta. While Nemuri was wielding a "Power Whip", Hizashi was wielding a hand flamer similar to the one used by Shouta.

The two pro-heroes were able to kill at least four of the flies before one of Kaina's hair bullets killed a fifth one. As the fifth fly fell onto the floor, the mites on its body started to spread out while a few consumed the said body to grow in size. Understandably, Hizashi aimed one hand flamer to kill the mites while Nemuri killed the remaining two with quick lashes of her whip.

As the flies and mites lay dead, Hiashi breathed a sigh of relief and said, "I'm definitely keeping one of these for my own personal safety." Left unsaid was that he wanted the hand flamer so that he would have something he could use against swarms of bugs.

"Same with me," agreed Nemuri as her power whip was leagues above her original weapon in terms of destructive power. Even with the power off, the whip was a powerful weapon.

"We better get going. Who knows what other nasty surprises those cultists have left around here," said Hizashi.

Nemuri nodded at Hizashi before they set off to their next desination which had been planned by Nedzu with the assistance of Curze, Icarian and Guilliman.

-Elsewhere…-

Rumi (a.k.a. Miruko), who was wearing a specialised outfit which was black in colour and had covered nearly her whole body, grimaced as she kicked another Puke Fly with disgustingly explosive results. Her suit, which was designed to keep her body safe from contamination by poison and disease, had not only a skull-shaped helmet designed to help her breathe even in toxic environments but also lightweight armour on both her arms and legs which had been modified to become "Power Gloves" and "Power Boots". Although the Power Gloves and Power Boots lacked the ability to constantly generate matter-disrupting energy fields like the original power weapons, they could still generate bursts of matter-disrupting fields of energy that were effective against the Puke Flies and Plague Mites.

As one of the few pro-heroes who had sparred with the former primarchs more than once, her combat prowess was such that she could easily take on the seven flies on her own with only a little assistance from Kaina.

"Sweet battle suit or not, when this cluster-fuck of a villain attack is over, you girls owe an explanation!" thought Rumi. She then tapped a micro bead, which she had worn in her ear after being given the suit by Vulkan, Dorn and Ferrus, and said, "Miruko reporting. This area is clear. I do not see or hear any signs of additional… whatever the fuck those nasty things were."

"Understood, Miruko. Please proceed to the location I have given to you," replied a voice that belonged to Aiba Manami (a.k.a. La Brava).

Rumi nodded before she sped off to a location that needed her immediate assistance. Although the situation was currently under control, Rumi instinctively knew that it had to be dealt with as soon as possible or else something bad would happen.

-Back at Deika City…-

Enji's eyes were wide in shock and horror as Dabi, whose real name was Todoroki Touya, smiled at him with a maniacal gleam in his eyes and said, "You look like you've just seen a ghost… 'father'!"

-In the primarchs' original universe…-

While the Chaos Gods were paying attention to the ongoing conflict that was happening on the alternate version of Holy Terra, the Emperor took advantage of the situation. Normally, the Dark Gods would keep a close eye on him so that they could thwart whatever strategies he had planned to not only save humanity but also defeat the said gods. However, with the Chaos gods distracted, the Emperor was able to do things subtly enough to avoid their immediate detection.

If all went well, the Emperor would be able to give the Chaos Gods a well-deserved "poke in the eye".

-End Chapter-

Author's Notes:

I have been rather busy lately so I could not post this chapter sooner. That being said, I can say that this more or less counts as an early Christmas post.

This is the first part of a conflict which will likely last for one more chapter if not more.

I hope that I will be able to complete this current arc in way that will be satisfactory.

Until next time, go beyond, plus ultra!
