Chapter 2

The killer who howls at night.

Aaron's pov

I turned around in fear to see one of the knights behind me. I tried to run but he grabbed me and tied me up to the horse.

''You are going right to the king. You intruder!''

''I swear I don't want to harm you! I don't even know how I got here!''

''This is what they all say.'' said the knight.

''Because it's true!'' I yelled.

He just ignored me and continued the trip to their king. I don't know who the king is or if he is responsible with the figure, but I hope not. Everything will be alright. Or that's what I like to think…. We got to the king in no time. It was like we flew there.

''Oh, hello. You finally found the intruder who harmed the trees the other night.''

''I am not that-''

But he closed my mouth so I stopped talking. What are they going to do with me?!

Bella's pov

I have to find a way to get to Aaron, before it's too late… I have to try everything. At least he has his miraculous… I don't.

''I have an idea!'' said Liliana, cheerfully.

''What! Tell us!" I said more excited than ever.

''We can make the figure open another portal so we can jump in it!''

''That's actually a brilliant idea. Deal!''

We got ready and waited for the figure to come again. We didn't wait for long because he thought it will be easy to catch all of us now. Olivia saw him at the window and whispered to us so we'll be ready. The black hole was in the middle of the room. It was absorbing us all in, but Olivia had the Miracle Box and Liliana still had her miraculous so I was the only one that fell in the hole.

''Now I can't make the wish because Aaron fell in that hole but thanks to this box I will have all the wishes I want. I will also put my hands on the Miracle Box in Paris if I want something exactly. The Cat miraculous and the Ladybug miraculous work just fine.''

''In your dreams!'' said Olivia.

That was the last thing I heard before I started falling in the nothingness of the black, dark hole. I am scared! What if I die?! I continued falling until I felt dirt under me. I was so frightened that I wanted to kiss the dirt when I saw it. Everything seemed abandoned, but right behind me was a brick castle. When I wanted to go away, I stepped on a headband. Oh, no… That is Aaron's miraculous! If the evil people caught him he can't do anything about it. I will save him and we will get all the miraculouses back. I am confident I am going to do so. I took the headband and carefully put it on my head. I am so lucky they didn't find it. I think the people here know what a miraculous is. The worst part is they probably know that some of them grant wishes. Is the figure from here…? Pandalina pooped up and she looked pale.

''What happened?! Where are we?!''

''Long story short: Aaron is here and we have to save him and get all the miraculouses back.''

''But-''

I transformed before she could say more. I actually look very good in this costume. My name is going to be Oreo. I laughed in my head at the idea, but pandas actually look like oreos. Haha! I have to hurry now! I don't have much time. I sneaked in the castle. Or at least I tried, but no doors were open and if I floated the doors I would draw attention to me. I have to find a way to enter the castle. As I was thinking someone tapped me on the shoulder. I was about to scream but the person put his hand on my mouth.

''I am on your side, don't worry.'' said the black person.

''Even people are black..?'' I stuttered.

''No! Just me… I have a miraculous, just like you. I'm Raven.''

We hid in a bush and started talking and thinking of a plan.

''Why do you want to sneak in the castle?'' asked Raven.

*after I told her the story*

''I want to sneak in the castle so I can put an end to this king. The only thing he wants is power and the wish. He kills people who aren't okay with what he wants or does.''

''I will help you if you help me too.'' I said.

''Ok, deal!''

''We can fly in. I will take you.'' said Raven.

''Uhh, I am scared of flying…''

''Don't worry, I got you!''

She grabbed me by the waist and we started flying. I tried not to yell but I was terrified. I have to get through this to save Aaron and help Raven. Her purpose is actually my second one. I want to get rid of the king too. We landed on top of one of the towers. I heard yelling. Someone was begging the king to let them go. The voice seemed familiar. Is it Aaron?! I am not sure. Even if it's not him, we have to save everyone we can.

''Raven, how do you plan on getting inside?''

''I don't have a plan, but they won't see us here because we're black like the night. What powers do you have? Maybe they can be of use.''

''I can float things with my mind, but it's the first time I use my miraculous, you know that. I don't know if I will succeed.''

''Believe in yourself. I noticed that window can get us to a bedroom, so I think that one is the best we can enter the castle from.'' Raven said.

''Yes, you're right.''

We flew there only to find out the window was locked.

''Try to float the window up.''

I focused on the window and it moved a little, but not enough.

''You have to try harder!''

I thought about what Panzie would do, then I had an idea. He looked at the thing and pointed his hands towards it, only at the beginning, then he became better at using his powers and needn't to do so. I tried his technique. I put my hands on the window and concentrated on it. It opened quicker than I could breathe. I am shocked. I really am that good! Raven thanked me and we entered the bedroom with fear in our hearts. What if someone opens that door?! We're done for if that happens. They will chop off our head. We opened the door slowly to peek outside. We only saw knights carrying someone to a room.

''They are going to kill that boy if we don't do something!'' I whispered-screamed.

''We can't get there in time.'' said Raven, with a sad expression on her face.

''We have too!''

I've had enough. I opened the door wide and stepped out of the room. I took a knight's armour I found hanging there and put it on. It didn't really fit me, but it was ok. I couldn't find another one for Raven, though.

''I will stay hidden and search for Aaron while you float the knights up and save that boy.''

I nodded and walked cautiously to the room I saw they brought the boy in. I opened the door right when they were about to kill him.

''What are you doing here?'' asked one of the knights.

I tried imitating a male voice and said:

''Uh, I came here to kill him myself. I want to do that because he harmed our dear forest.''

They left the room carelessly and I untied the boy.

''W-what are you doing…?''

''I am not a knight. I will save you.''

I floated him up and we left the room by the window. The tower we were in almost touched the ground, so we exited it easily. Such a pity I and Raven couldn't enter that window. I heard some raven sounds, like the actual raven, not Raven, but I thought it may be a sign. I took that as a sign and hid the boy in the same bush we hid earlier.

''Stay here and I will come get you later.''

''I don't know how to thank you for saving me!''

''It's nothing. I didn't catch your name. Tell me it so I know what to tell to the king and knights.''

''I'm Liam. Now go!''

I walked away and entered the castle by the window I left with Liam. There wasn't anyone in the room so it was safe now. I heard the raven again and became more cautious. I was walking on the hall looking for any clues when I saw the prison. Maybe Aaron is there?! I ran to it and opened the door. The poor people were starving. I looked for Aaron and found him sitting in a corner. He looked at me with his blue eyes and I could see how scared he looked. He still didn't know who I was. Right then, I spotted other knights checking on the people.

''What are you doing here?! You are supposed to kill people…''

Only then I saw what was written on my armour. It said: 'The killer who howls at night.' They sent me out and I didn't have anything else to do. I just sat down and thought of a plan. I have to save Aaron!
