Chapter 6

An unleashed power

Liliana's pov

I am more frightened than ever. After the figure made it's unannounced appearance on the sky yesterday, I just couldn't stop thinking about it. Is he really going to kill us? I guess we will find out sooner or later… On the other hand, he still has the Miracle Box and Bearzy's miraculous. Ladybug and Cat Noir were no help. They had too much villains to deal with. Olivia and I are on our own in this horrible situation we got in. We don't have any money left so we can't stay at a hotel any longer. Our only choice is to go back to California. I wanted to get out of California so badly, but I guess my wish wasn't granted. My mom is in jail for ten whole years and my dad… well… we don't talk about it. My dad abandoned me after he found out mom was Moth. Olivia was the only one who wanted to take the first flight to California. We put everything in our luggage and checked out of the hotel. Olivia kept some money for the plane tickets. Finally, when we were about to leave, someone grabbed Olivia by the waist and covered her mouth with his hand. I didn't even have time to react. When I saw what happened, I started yelling so the whole town would hear me. I couldn't help her in any way, but I started running after the kidnapper. He was nowhere to be found. I lost him… Olivia had all our money. I can't go back to California without money, and I don't have any place to stay. I tried to call the cops, but my phone wasn't working. My phone turned off. I couldn't charge it, so I just stood still, in shock, thinking of the worst. Right when I was going to ask someone for a phone, I saw Ladybug and Cat Noir, chasing a villain. This is my chance! I will wait for them to defeat the villain, then I will talk to them about the kidnapper and the lack of money I was going through. Maybe they could lend me a hand. I only need a place to stay until the police finds Olivia. I heard a loud thud and then Ladybug's famous words:

''Miraculous Ladybug!''

I was relieved, and I started running after them.

''Liliana!? You are still in Paris?" asked Ladybug, surprised.

''Yes. I need you to find Olivia.'' I said, not realising it didn't make any sense to them.

''What? Find her? What happened?'' asked Cat Noir, concerned.

''She was kidnapped…''

Ladybug and Cat Noir didn't know what to say to make things better.

''Kidnapped? By who?'' asked Ladybug, serious.

''That's the thing, I don't know who!'' I yelled.

''We will help you, but you know we are really busy with the villains lately.''

''Yes, I noticed. I also need…. A place to stay. I am broke.''

''You can stay at my place.'' Suggested Ladybug.

''That would be awesome, but wouldn't I know who you are behind the mask?''

''You would, but you don't even know me. We live in different cities, so it would be fine.''

''I guess so.'' I answered.

''So she gets to know your identity and I don't?!" joked Cat Noir.

''You know the reasons already. Let's go, Liliana.''

We walked on the clean streets of Paris, and I realised I never noticed how beautiful Paris is. Too bad I can't enjoy it, because every person I see looks like Olivia in my head. I was still shocked from what happened earlier. I wanted to lay in bed and sleep. I didn't want to think about Olivia, Bella and Aaron anymore. Aaron and Bella are in a world I will never reach. Ladybug got us a phone and we called the police. We explained everything in detail about the kidnapper and they said they will try to find her, but they didn't promise anything. I have to find her quick.

Bella's pov

We woke up next morning, more energised than ever. I didn't sleep that well in a decade. I was the first one to wake up, so I silently waited for the others to be ready. I ate the leftovers from last night and drank some more water from the lake. I have to think of a plan. We have to go back to our world and outcome the king. He has a strong army, so it will be difficult. He is also in love with me! Gross! Finally, Addison, Liliana and Aaron were up and we could talk about what we should do.

''So… does anyone have any ideas?'' I asked, with hope in my tone.

''We should use our powers to defeat the army, then we will get to the king.'' Suggested Raven.

I was about to agree until Addison stopped me.

''We shouldn't make things more complicated than they already are. We should focus to find a way out of here.''

''But we can't leave these poor civilians with this evil king!'' I protested.

''There is no one left here. If the city is empty, they have no one to attack.'' Said Addison.

Suddenly, a thought crossed my mind. LIAM! We have to find Liam and take him with us!

''Liam! What about him?!" I asked, furious.

''Liam? Who is that?'' asked Addison, clueless.

''See?! Maybe there are more people you don't know out there!''

I wanted to prove I was right.

''Yes… I guess we have to.''

We all stared at each other and looked at Raven. Her idea was good.

''The final plan is: we use our powers to beat the king and his knights.'' Aaron said.

''What powers? Do you have powers?'' asked Addison.

''We all have special powers: Liam can control the nature, Raven can fly and see clearly at night, but I am the most special of all. I can control water and fire, but it depends what miraculous I use. For example, if I use the Bear miraculous and get mad, I can control fire. If I use the miraculous of the Panda and get mad, I can control water.'' I explained.

''I heard about these so called miraculouses. I am a bit informed about the topic, but not really.''

''I suppose we could train before we break in the castle.'' Said Raven.

''That is a wonderful thought. I have to train the most.'' I said.

Addison and Aaron looked at Raven and I train our powers for a bit, but I came up with an idea.

''Why don't you search for Liam? You don't have anything to do anyway.''

''That's fine. We will.''

Addison and Aaron walked away, while I put my miraculous on and transformed. Raven was doing some tricks in the air.

''I will punch the king with my wing like this!'' she yelled from the sky, showing me her wing-punch.

I laughed and continued to practice. I feel like Aaron and Addison will be lucky and find Liam. I want to get out of this world as soon as possible. I don't like anything here, except that I discovered a new power and made new friends.

''Maybe I can control my power even if I am not mad.'' I said.

''Yeah, maybe. Low chances, but I hope you will figure it out.'' Answered Raven.

I tried to focus really hard, but right when I heard a sound coming from the bush, I used my power on it. The bush looked like a heavy rain just passed.

''Oops!''

Someone appeared from behind the bush, and I couldn't believe who it was.

''It took me so long to find you, guys. Why did you splash me?!"

''Liam?! No way!'' I yelled.

Raven's eyes widened when she saw Liam.

''I just sent Aaron and Addison after you! I did not think of one thing… how will we communicate?!''

''What do you mean you sent them after me?! The king will capture them! He has army walking around everywhere!"

''No no no! This is not happening…'' I whispered.

I fell on my knees and started sobbing. Just the thought of Aaron and Addison getting killed made me sob uncontrollably. Raven stopped practicing and hugged me tightly. Liam comforted me:

''It is not your fault. You didn't know the army was everywhere!''

''Actually, I knew… they are searching for the others and I! I didn't think of the army, and I also didn't think of a way we could communicate while they were away! I sighed their death!''

Liam didn't have anything left to say, so we just looked at each other. We have to find a way out of this!

I am so sorry for not updating in a long time, but I didn't feel like writing on this story. This chapter was deep. I hope you felt their emotions like I did when I wrote it.
