Chapter 7

A disguised plan

Bella's pov

Liam was standing there, surprised, looking at me like he was hiding something.

''Why do you look guilty?'' I asked, suspicious.

Raven let go of the hug and gave Liam a judgemental look, understanding why I asked that question.

''Uh- I-''

Right in that second, the king's army jumped out of the bushes and captured Raven. I quickly said the magic words and the knights, who had no clue what a miraculous was, backed down when I changed costumes that fast. I attempted to drag Liam out of the crowd as Raven was already far away, but instead of coming with me, he pushed me in the king's arms!

''You will come with me at the palace and we will get married appropriately.'' spoke the king.

''NO! I am not going to marry you! You are a monster!'' I yelled, trying to get out.

''You shut your mouth right this second.''

''LIAM!'' I screamed for help to him, but he didn't seem to care one bit.

''Your dear friend Liam was the one who told us you and Raven were here.''

The king informed me, and the knights nodded.

''W-what…?''

I didn't want to believe what the king said, but after Liam didn't want my help to get out, I guess he was right. Tears streamed down my cheeks as I was going to the palace against my will with the king, who wanted to kill my friends and marry me. That was when I realised he might have killed Adison and Aaron already. Liam could have lied when he told Raven and I that the army was in the forest searching for us. While I was looking one last time at the fantastic nature before dying, my eyes focused on one bush that was constantly moving around. Weird. I think I am hallucinating. A brunette girl's head pooped up from the bush, along with a person I could not forget, AARON! It was Adison and Aaron! The army put tape on my mouth, so I could not talk nor scream, but the forest was full of people who obeyed the king, so it was pointless anyway. Including Liam, who just pretended to be my friend … After I saved him from not getting killed, he had the audacity to do this!

I shouldn't have trusted him. Mia betrayed us as well. Addison was right. Everyone here only wants what the king wants. The bush came closer and closer to me, and Aaron tried to grab my hand, but as he saw how many knights there were, he became unsure.

''You shouldn't do that! If they spot us, we will die with Bella, not save her!'' whispered Addison, who tried to stop Aaron from doing something that would get both of them killed.

''I have to save my girlfriend! You don't know anything about friend nor people you love!" Aaron whispered back, bothered by what Addison said.

''I had parents once… but they got killed by the king. You don't even know how much I want to destroy the king once and for all, but we should wait longer.''

Aaron nodded and apologised to Addison quietly, as they kept following me in disguise. I was relieved, because they were alive. What Addison said made me tear up a bit. Aaron didn't even know what he was talking about. Of course Addison had a family once. I wanted to help Addison destroy the king once and for all. As the king was pulling me by my hair to the castle, he noticed I wasn't kicking and trying to escape all of a sudden. He was smarter than I thought, because he stopped walking and looked around.

''I know your friends are here, hiding somewhere, that's why you are so calm. Your good mood is not going to last long.'' He warned me.

I ignored him, but not because I didn't want to answer, but because I couldn't talk. Addison and Aaron were following us, and I was getting more frightened by the second, because I knew the king had figured out our plan. When we got to the gates, an army of knights opened them for us. As we were entering the castle, I closed my eyes. I couldn't bear with the situation I was in any longer. When I thought I died, the king threw me on the red carpet he had in the main room. I tried to stand on my feet, but I was too hurt.

''Tie her up to the throne and let her talk. A queen should talk to her kingdom.''

Aaron's pov

''She entered the main gates!'' I said.

''Of course she did. We have to find another way in. You're in luck, because I know the castle better than my own cave.''

''But how?''

''I tried multiple times to break in, but I didn't succeed. I learned all the ways in.''

''I guess you are going to be my guide.''

I joked, but in my heart I couldn't think of the good part in this problem. Addison examined the place, looking for the best door we could enter. Every door was guarded by ten knights each, but there was only one small door that was guarded by five.

''Why is that door only guarded by five knights? I doesn't make sense.'' I noticed.

''That is the basement, and you can't enter the castle from there. The good news are that we can!''

I looked at her, clueless.

''If we steal one of the knight's swords, it will be sharper enough to cut the wood.''

''The basement is made of wood? How do you even know that?''

''Stop asking so many questions and come with me.''

She took my hand and we walked through the bushes.

''How do you plan on defeating these knights?''

Addison showed the Panda miraculous and I gasped.

''How in the world do you have that?!"

''When Bella got caught, it's true she tried to transform, but when she saw it was pointless, she threw the miraculous away, because she knew it would get in the possession of the king. I found it and put the headband in my pocket.''

''I will use it. I used it for a year. I know how it works.''

''Here.''

She handed me the miraculous, and I transformed.

''I am really good at this, I promise. I developed a lot of power, and I can float up a lot of things at a time.''

I focused on the army of the knights, but I suddenly thought of Bella, in a wedding dress, smiling and waving at the civilians. She was… MARRING THE KING?! And she looked so happy… My imagination took what was worst of me and my powers lifted up the bush we were hiding in instead. When the knights saw us, they ran and screamed. One of them was going to announce the king.

''WHAT DID YOU DO?!" Addison yelled.

''I DON'T KNOW!'' I yelled back.

When Addison looked at my pale face, she noticed what was going on.

''Bella is never going to be happy with that monster of a person! The only person she will marry is YOU!"

The second I heard that, I took a deep breath and lifted all the knights up. I threw them right in the forest. I heard a lion roaring. All of them were trying to kill the lions, wolves and bears, but they were too many. I stepped on a sword and gave it to Addison.

''I guess we won't need to enter through the basement anymore.'' She laughed.

I genuinely smiled, for the first time since I got in the other dimension. We both had a sword to defeat the king, and I had a feeling we would free Bella soon. Everything is going to be okay.

Addison broke the door with her sword, and we tip toed inside the building. We were in one of the dorms, downstairs. I heard voices through the walls. They were the prisoners! The dorm was right next to the prison. I saw the latch move, and right then, I grabbed Addison and we hid under the bed. We held our breath, praying the person that entered the room wouldn't notice we were there. I looked closely at the person's legs, because that was all I could see from under the bed, and they were full of mud. Why would a knight's legs be full of mud? Plus, the knights wear armours that also include shoes. The person didn't have any shoes. That was when I realised. The weird person who entered the dorm wasn't a knight nor the king, it was….

End of chapter 7.

This chapter was really serious, but I tried to slide in some calm moments as well. I am waiting for your review, since I don't really know what to believe about this chapter. The final fight is getting closer and closer by the chapter, and I can promise you some really cute scenes with Bella and Aaron in the upcoming chapters. Thank you for your support.
