Chapter 9

The final fights part 1

Liliana's pov

I didn't have any plan ready, but I decided to check all the doors to see if I was hallucinating or not. When I opened the last door I saw a lot of stairs, and when I looked to see if I could observe anything, the only thing that was visible was dark. I stood in front of the open door and thought if I should climb down the stairs or not. What if the figure is there? I am going to take the risk. I have to save the person who is tied there. I stepped on the first step of the stairs and instantly felt the stairs unsteady. They instantly fell down with me! I tried to catch the latch of the door for balance, but it broke too and I fell in the nothingness that the room was hiding. I hugged one of the stairs I was falling together with and prayed I would get down there safely, even though I didn't have any chance.

Aaron's pov

''Should we go out there?'' I asked.

''I don't really know… we are in the castle after all. I think we should free the prisoners first, maybe they want to help us. I am certain that they also hate the king for putting them in jail.'' Addison pointed out.

''I have to slap the king back so he knows what it feels like to be slapped. I will take care of him.''

''Stop with the rage. We have to think straight, or else the plan won't work.''

''Fine! I suggest I use my miraculous and you help me out with what you can, considering you have no powers.''

''I agree.''

Addison burst the door open. The door hit the wall and the sound was heard in the castle like a rock hitting glass. My heart was pumping out of my chest.

''Are you ready to do this?" She asked me.

''For Bella.''

''For Bella.'' She repeated after me.

''What was that?! Go check!'' The king yelled at the knights.

We had a perfect view to the throne where the king sat down. Of course the knights saw us and said:

''Intruders!''

The king turned his head to the right and saw two teenagers who were trembling with fear, but tried to be tough.

''You again! Bella is not for you to have!"

''Have?! What is Bella, an object?!" I yelled back.

I couldn't hold back my comments any longer, and I didn't think I had to anymore. The king signalled the knights with two fingers to go to us and probably fight us. Addison and I still had our swords stolen from the knights that got eaten by animals in the forest. I gave Addison my sword since I had my miraculous and yelled for the whole castle to hear:

''Pandalina, bamboos is served!''

My transformation words were funny, and they came from the fact that pandas eat lots of bamboos a day. The king burst out laughing because he didn't have a clue why I said those ''random words'', but when he saw my black and white costume his jaw dropped immediately.

''How did you do that?! I will try!"

I laughed.

''Panli, bamboos is served!"

Nothing happened, as I was also expecting. He even said my kwami's name wrong.

''Why doesn't it work?! I want a costume like yours!"

I didn't have more time to waste so I lifted the throne up, with the king too.

Addison was defeating more and more knights that tried to attack me so I could use my powers to defeat the most important one of all, the king. As I was fighting I wondered where Bella went after the act of violence happened. I got upset when I thought about her crying in the bathroom. She is a sensitive person after all…

More and more things started to happen at once: Addison distracted me, Bella got out of one of the rooms so my attention directed to her and much more that my eyes spun between the two girls and the king. I lost focus and the throne that was floating fell down. I focused on Bella for so long that I lifted her up by mistake. She trusted me so much that she didn't seem bothered by what I did. I used my chance and dragged her to me. She was standing behind me, watching every little movement I made. I didn't get to ask her anything before I saw dark magic in the king's hands… No… dark magic is too powerful for me to handle alone. I also need Bella to fight with the Bear Miraculous.

The dark magic cancelled my power instantly and I fell on my knees with my hands behind my back.

''Who is the weak one now?!"

Addison's eyes shined all of a sudden and I saw her feet leave the floor. She was… flying?! She didn't have any powers! I only had gotten to open my mouth before the king started talking when I saw white magic in her hands. She controlled it perfectly, like she had done that before. I gasped.

''How did you go from being my right hand to this?!"

''His right hand?! What's he talking about?!" I screamed.

Addison totally ignored me and played with the magic in her hands while answering the king's question:

''I was until you killed both of my parents for trying to convince me to come home… and I don't even want to talk about the feelings part. I realised you weren't a trustworthy person way too late.''

''He was in love with you too?!" Bella was more shocked than ever.

Addison made it seem like she couldn't hear what the ones that weren't flying were saying. The king used dark magic to fly up to her level.

''You know you love me. Bella was just a replacement of what we could have had if you accepted my proposal and haven't ran in the forest.''

''I don't understand anything at this point.'' Bella said.

As the king and Addison were talking like they didn't hate each other, Addison used the element of surprise and activated her powers. I figured out that she was having a conversation with the king only to distract him.

The two opposite powers united, and the one who took control of the other won. Addison tried to keep the shield up. The king built dark black knives out of dark magic and threw them at Addison, but I stopped them with my powers. The king was so busy trying to break Addison's shield that he freed my powers. I was sweating from the effort I was making to keep all the knives the king was building in their place. Addison's face was glowing with white magic. The king was about to take control of her power when I helped her out and floated myself up so I could fight the king face to face. Addison threw the two swords she was fighting with initially across the room and I caught them with both of my hands. One of them slipped and Bella picked it up from the floor and threw it back at the king.

The king didn't have time to react when suddenly there was a big crack on his shield. He didn't have enough power to fix it and don't lose the fight to Addison at the same time. The knights attempted to take Bella captive, but I passed her the sword I was holding, so she hit them enough to free herself. She had lived in the castle for a while, so she knew where the king kept the keys to the prison. She searched for them under the carpet and found a set of keys. She ran to the prison while Addison and I were forcing our powers as much as we could. A bunch of prisoners who seemed like nice and innocent people exited the prison in a hurry and their eyes widened when they noticed what was happening on the main hall. Bella guided them to the secret place where the king kept the weapons. I couldn't see what was going on, but in less than thirty seconds everyone was back. Some of them were holding guns and arrows, and the others bombs and more armament.

''Fire!" Bella shouted.

Arrows were aimed all across the room, bombs were exploding on the king's shield and it had more and more cracks. Guns were passed to me since I was closer and had more chances to aim in the right place.

Liliana's pov

I shouted all the prayers I knew by heart while I was falling. I didn't think I had any chance of survival, but I didn't get to hit the ground when a metal stick extended and I caught up to it. I noticed a logo on it. A paw… Chat Noir?! The stick carefully brought me to safety on the ground.

''Cat Noir?! Am I having hallucinations?!"

I realised he couldn't talk. His mouth was taped with scotch. I ripped the scotch so he answered.

''I got kidnapped… like Olivia.'' He said, pointing somewhere even darker, if that's even possible.

''What's there?'' I asked scared.

''Olivia…''

End of chapter 9!

Dear Calico, you were right about the Cat Noir part! Olivia is also there because she got kidnapped by someone. You'll find out soon enough who. I agree, Ladybug is a sweet character, and she will have more character development before this book is finished.

Dear Magicofthesun, you don't have to worry about violence at all. I just wanted to show that the king was not the right partner for Bella and that he would take extreme measures only for Bella to rule the kingdom. There won't be any more violence. I don't think Bella would break up with Aaron so rapidly though, but I understand your point. I am happy you like my style of writing.

I updated in less than two days, so I hope you will tell me your opinion. I just couldn't wait to write the first part of one of the final fights. There will be two fights, and I also have a slight spoiler. The figure will be in one of them. Bye peeps!
