Chapter 11; The New World
Once the flames died down, Stoick ran inside looking for Hiccup. "Hiccup! Hiccup! Son!" Stoick yelled as the ash for the Red Death made it hard to see. As the ash started to clear, he saw Toothless, Flare, and Knack. Stoick gasped and ran to them, hoping to find Hiccup. But when he got there, all he saw was Toothless, whose saddle and tail fin was totally destroyed, Flare and Knack, who were under Toothless chine, had received burn scars on their backs. There was no sign of Hiccup, and that caused Stoick to fall to his knees and his heart started to break into pieces.
"Oh, son. I did this." Stoick said as everyone reached them. Everyone took a moment of silence, and it wasn't just the Viking's and Pokemon, but the dragons too. To all of them, they saved everyone from the Red Death and ended the war. They were heroes, but the price of victory was too high. As Toothless, Flare, and Knack recovered, they saw Stoick crying. "Oh, son, I'm so sorry." Stoick said as Sword Walker joined him, trying to comfort his partner.
Flare and Knack got out from under Toothless, and Toothless removed his wings. Under Toothless wings was Hiccup. "Hiccup!" Stoick said as he rushed to his son. Stoick checked Hiccup out, and Hiccup was alive and well. Stock gasped and said to Toothless, Flare, and Knack. "He's alive. You brought him back alive." Everyone heard that and they started to cheer and laugh, and that's when the Vikings noticed that the dragons were even taking part in the celebration. As Gobber, Eric, Coal, Tera, Knight, and Honorstream walked closer to Stoick, Hiccup, Toothless, Flare, Knack, and Sword Walker. Stoick said to Toothless, Flare, and Knack. "Thank you all for saving my son.
"Well, you know… most of him." Gobber said as he noticed that Hiccup had received some damage to his left foot.
A few days later, Hiccup had finally woken up from his injuries. When he opened his eyes, he saw Toothless, Flare, and Knack. "Hey, guys." Hiccup said and they got close to him. "I'm happy to see you guys too." Hiccup said before Toothless stepped out Hiccup's stomach. Hiccup flinched in pain and everyone got away from him. After Hiccup recovered, he noticed that he was in his house. Now seeing Flare and Knack inside wasn't weird, but seeing Toothless inside was very weird. Hiccup then said to Toothless. "Does my dad know you're here?" Toothless then jumped around creating a mess. Hiccup then started to move off his bed, it was then Hiccup felt something was wrong. Hiccup removed the cover and saw that his left foot was gone and replaced with a pegleg that had a metal bass and a spring to raise and lower the bass. Everyone got close to Hiccup, and after a few deep breaths, Hiccup took a stand. Hiccup fell, but Toothless caught him. As Flare and Knack checked on Hiccup, Hiccup said to them. "I'm ok. Thanks guys."
Hiccup, Toothless, Flare, and Knack then started to walk to the door. But the moment they opened the door, a Monstrous Nightmare was roaring just a few feet outside. Hiccup closed the door and said to them. "Toothless, Flare, Knack, stay here." Hiccup then went outside and saw that it was Snotlout riding the Monstrous Nightmare. And not only that, but people were riding the dragons, some had areas for the dragons to rest, and even had some feeding stations. Hiccup then said as he couldn't believe what he was seeing. "I knew it. I'm dead."
"No, but you gave it your best shot." Stoick said as he and Sword Walker walked up to Hiccup. They were going to check on Hiccup and were happy to see him up and about. Stoick then put his hand onto Hiccup's shoulder and said. "So, what do you think?" Then people noticed that Hiccup was awake and started to crowd around him. Stoick then said to Hiccup, as he pointed everywhere. "Turns out all we needed was a little more of this."
"You just gestured to all of me." Hiccup said to Stoick and Stoick nodded yes. Gobber and Coal then appeared and Gobber said. "Well, most of you. That bit's my handiwork. With a little Hiccup flair thrown in. You think it'll do?"
"I might make a few tweaks." Hiccup said before everyone started to laugh. Astrid then land close to the crowd with Spikeball staying on the Nadder. Astrid then punched Hiccup's shoulder and said. "That's for scaring me."
"What, is it always going to be this way?" Cause…" Hiccup said before Astrid kissed him. Hiccup then said. "...I could get used to it." Eric landed Honorstream next to the crowd and pulled out a new saddle and tail fin for Hiccup and Toothless. As Eric walked over. Knight and Tera stayed on Honorstream. Then Eric said giving Hiccup as he gave Hiccup the new saddle and tail. "Welcome back. And here is a gift from all of us." Then Toothless, Flare, and Knack came out of the house and pushed through the crowd. Everyone laughed, and soon Hiccup put on the new saddle and tail. With this new version, Hiccup's pegleg was connected to the pedal, so there was no need to put in a safety latch on the saddle, and the tail was red with a white viking helmet painted on it.
As Hiccup was getting ready to fly with Astrid, Eric, their dragons, and their Pokemon. Hiccup looked around and saw that he had changed the world. Now while the island of Berk was still the same, the world started to change. In this new world Viking, Pokemon, and dragons working together as one, living together, discovering new things, and go to places they never knew about.
And done, now I hope you enjoyed this story, but now I have to tell you something. First, I fixed the bugs, and I am sorry about that, I don't use post so much at once, and that why were are bugs, but they are fixed. So if you want to re-read it to understand it, you can now. Next, I know the short films; Legend of the Boneknapper Dragon, Book of Dragons, and Gift of the Night Fury were made before the Tv shows started. Now I am doing the Gift of the Night Fury after this chapter, because while it is the holiday special, and the holidays are over, if I don't do it now then it's going to leave plot holes, Small ones, but I don't like making plot holes. Now about the other two. I might do Legend of the Boneknapper in a later chapter of this story, or might not. But I won't do the Book of Dragons, because that is an info short film on a few dragons, which we will see later in the story. And that's all. See you next time.
