Welcome back everyone. This is chapter 67 of chapter 99. Is it going to end well for Ron? Ya never know, our favorite trauma sponge is up for some adventures before this one is over. Remember, there is a book 3. I have already written six or seven chapters of it.

I want to thank everyone who has read, faved, followed, alerted or reviewed so far. Speaking about reviews here's where I address them: CajunBear73, I agree Torcher should 'lean' on Stevie and he may yet. I think for the most part Ron just wants to be left alone and fade into the background. He's never liked the spotlight and being ostracized from Kim has given him the opportunity to stay in the background; Obsidian Dreamweaver, thanks and I think you are probably a good artist, but so is my granddaughter if I need that kind of work done Lydia.

Again, thanks everyone for reading. I want to thank my two editors for all the work they have done.

Let's get this show on the road,

The Hunter: Book Two

Chapter 67

The Jar Head Diner:

"So, Ron, men you've never seen before pointed guns at your sister in a threatening manner?", Mac inquired as Ron mixed up the meatloaf he was making as one of the dinner entrees for the night.

"Yeah that's about the size of it Boss, except I only counted one gun, though there might have been more. I sorta had to do what they said ya know, I didn't want Sis to get shot. It sorta looked like a mob thing that you see on television cop shows.", Ron responded as he shaped one of the meatloaf concoctions together, then shoved it into a pan for baking while setting out another pan.

(AN…Ron was too shook up to 'fade' out and hadn't even thought about it, but probably will in a few hours. Soooo, before you ask the question there is the answer.)

Mac nodded as he took care of the short order stuff while the former Middleton Mad Dog worked ahead for the dinner rush, "Stands to reason. Listen Ron, I have a few extra pieces here you can borrow…"

"Thanks, but I'm too young to carry and with my luck the cops will bust me, then Sis will have to raise herself for the next ten years.", Ron told the retired Gunnery Sergeant.

"Suit yourself, but the offer is on the table. I don't like going into a warzone empty handed."

"Gunny, as much as I think that Middleton is that fucked up, even though we have weirdo stuff going on all the time…I don't think it's a warzone. Even though it is a weird place sometimes, my friends live there, it's a decent place…Just not for me. I think once Kim goes off to college with that limey, things will calm down a lot.", Ron told his boss.

"So, are you gonna do what those clowns want?"

"Since they threatened not only Sis, but my friends at school I guess I'd better, there isn't enough cops out there to protect everyone. Yori wasn't too happy about Hanna being placed in that situation and now she's pissed at me…I shoulda stayed in Japan and not come back, it woulda been a lot easier though then they woulda been mad at me for not being in position to protect Kim too. Sucks to be the sidekick sometimes."

"Yori? Oh, the cute Asian girl who was here the other day. She's quite a looker. I take it the mission you guys went on was successful…"

"Yeah it was, it looks like Yamanouchi is safe and so is Japan at least for now until the next world catastrophe, like Godzilla coming outta the ocean and attacking Tokyo or something, Mac. Anyway, it's just great to get back to normal…well 'cept for being kicked outta school and having some guys threaten Hanna's life to get me to play football for another fucking year."

"Did you talk to the police about it?"

Sigh, "Yeah, I did, the FBI was there too, and they heard that Yori isn't happy with me too. She kinda lost it and cussed me out. That sorta laid bare my lack of man cred ya know."

The retired Marine chuckled, "You never pushed for cred man, nothin like that asshole Barkin you played football for…or should I say, play football for?"

"Okay, you know I don't like Barkin, he's a Marine hero god and always measures everything and everybody to a Marine although you seem to be annoyed by him, what gives?", Ron inquired.

"You don't wanna know Ron…"

"I think I do, I mean I guess the Marine Corps is cool and all, but when he says I'm not a good Marine…HELL I am not a Marine and never have been. I've never been trained to rush a machinegun nest, but he always compares me to something I'm not…"

Gunney sighed, "Barkin aint no hero, he was a glorified secretary, Ron."

"Huh? Are you sure? I mean I heard rumors, but I just thought they were rumors.", Ron's eyes narrowed, "They keep pawning him off as some kind of big old hero with all these medals. I mean he has a Navy Cross…"

"If ya don't know, ya don't know. Most guys keep their mouths shut and do their jobs even in the Corps. Listen, you'll find out later, but a lot of guys talk a big game. You hear about Marine snipers? Hell's bells, if all the guys who claimed that they were, were that's all we'd be. In the Corps we have mechanics, pilots, tank drivers and yes, even clerks and supply guys…some cooks too. The Corpsmen come outta the Navy. But the first job of every Jar Head is that of a combat soldier. I was a ground pounder for most of my career. I coulda done something else, but that's all I wanted 'cept when I had to fill a Mess Sergeant's spot for a few months and found I loved it. That's how I got involved in food prep. Then when I had a couple years in the states, I went to school to learn how to do it right and when I retired, I decided to move here and do this."

Ron's eyes narrowed, "So Stevie, who has made my life miserable all the while claiming that he was the second coming of the 'God of War'…wasn't?"

"Yeah, that's about the size of it.", Mac said, "So, even though Barkin was trained as a ground pounder that wasn't his specialty, I felt you needed to know that so that he doesn't get into your head any more then he has, since it looks like you are gonna be around for another year."

"Well Mac, Barkin got into a lot of people's heads, I could really ruin his rep if I wanted to."

The Marine chuckled, "You could if you wanted to, it kinda depends on what kind of person you wanna be. On another note how are you getting along with Kim Possible, now?"

"Define 'getting along'.", Ron finger quoted.

"I understand you two are not dating…"

"And never have, if anyone asks, Mac…", Ron interjected.

"Right, I get that, but do you have anything to do with her now?"

"Uh, not really. When I lived at Mom and Dad's place, I'd see her once in a while even when she was into other guys, but not now while I'm living with the Rentons. When I move to Lowerton I'll see her even less.", Ron explained.

"How are you doing with that Ron?"

"I don't think much about it Mac, Sis keeps me focused on what's important…her. Somehow, I gotta figure how I am gonna live in Lowerton and go to school in Middleton…I think I'll just go to school on part days. If they want me there, they can accommodate my schedule for a change and how far I have to commute now that I think of it."

"And Colorado State is definitely out for the scholarship?"

"Yeah. I didn't know it was gonna happen so fast, though."

"I take it that the cops think that the fish took the bait then, since you got accosted?", Mac inquired.

"After what I revealed about what happened today, the FBI dudes want me to go along with this until they have enough information to start yanking these guys off the street and I'm not sure how long that is going to take."

"Sucks to be you Ron, I don't think I woulda let them turn me into a pawn. I spent enough time through my first enlistment being treated like crap…You seem to enjoy it."

"I don't like it Mac, but sometimes you gotta do the right thing even if that means getting shit on."

"That reminds me, when is your interview with that TV guy?"

"In a couple of days, the FBI wants to be there for that too. It's gonna be weird having them be looking over my shoulder all the time for a while."

The Possible home, Middleton:

"Hi Daddy.", Kim said as she walked into the house after laying her books on the sofa.

"Hi Kimmie, how was your day at school? You must be elated at having this part of your life nearly over now.", James Possible responded as he opened his arms to welcome her into a hug.

"It's getting close, I'm excited and sorta sad at the same time."

"It was for me as well honey your last four years have been exceptional. If I never went to MIST, I would never have met your Mother. She's the best thing that ever happened to me…Wellll, you kids are a close second. Your future is bright as smart and talented as you are you will find doors of opportunity will open for you and you will meet new friends, and some of those friendships will last a lifetime"

"Yeah, I know Dad. When's Mom returning full time?", the heroine inquired.

James Possible smiled at the thought of his wife being home again full time, "Three weeks and four days. We have to go up to Denver and bring her back as a matter of fact then I am driving up this weekend and next to bring some boxes back. Do you want to come with me and the boys Kimmie?"

"I'd love to, uh Dad, I might have to drop by Eric's house, they haven't been able to get a hold of him and I need to give him a message from the principal finally decided what to do with him after the altercation and they want to discuss it with him."

The rocket scientist pointed out, "Oh, they might suspend him for the rest of the year? The precedent of Ronald getting suspended would also be there to go by. It would send a bad message about attacking someone in school if someone got kicked out and another one who did the same thing didn't. It would say that those who are privileged get special treatment.", James gave his viewpoint.

"That's a little harsh Dad…"

"Considering they suspended Ronald for the same infraction, they would have reason to do that to Eric, Kimmie, otherwise the process would not be fair and just.", James told Kim.

The red-haired teen argued, "Ron injured a teacher…"

"And Eric attacked a teenaged girl.", James countered.

"Yeah, I just hope they don't throw him out. Being suspended would ruin Eric's record."

"That's for others to decide honey. Don't you have to work tonight Kimmie?", James then asked.

"Yeah…"

"Why don't you invite him out to dinner after your shift and tell Eric then?". James then gave Kim a fifty-dollar bill, "The meal is a treat on me."

"Thanks Dad, I'll see if my boyfriend is available later, but we might be out after curfew…"

"You have eleven-thirty tonight, honey. You are caught up on all your schoolwork and have begun studying for finals, correct?"

"Yeah Dad, started doing that a few weeks ago. I have a real good handle on the course work, I think I will be getting all 'A's' this semester, maybe the tweebs will have to work their tails off to beat my GPA."

"That's what I like to hear, a little friendly sibling rivalry. Ahhhh my days at MIST…"

Kim shuddered at the thought of her dad reliving his old college days having heard the stories for her whole life and said, "Right Dad, I'm gonna go upstairs and call Eric while I'm getting ready for work."

X

"Yes Eric, they want to meet with you to discuss discipline because you got into a fight.", Kim explained to her boyfriend.

Sigh, "I must contact a lawyer then to accompany me, I suppose I should call home and have them assign one."

"Or you could come in and meet with them to see if you need a lawyer.", Kim offered, "You should have answered your phone though."

"At the time I didn't want to speak with them to be reminded of my failings.", 'Eric' replied, "For that I AM sorry, but I feel I deserve an apology as well…"

"Is this because you feel entitled, Eric?"

"Well of course, nobility is afforded some advantages in England…", 'Eric' lied not knowing that Wade was monitoring the call like he did most conversations where Kim and Ron were involved, and not being specifically told not to by Kim.

The red head reminded her boyfriend, "This is the United States Eric, we haven't been part of the British Empire for wayyyy over two hundred years. You have to get that into your head."

"Very well, sigh, I will call them and throw myself at their mercy and accept my unjust punishment.", 'Eric' responded.

"It's not that bad, if you don't snark at them, they might not be too hard on you."

"I do not snark on anyone…"

"You do snark on people, but if you don't, they may go easy on you.", Kim assured Eric.

"Well, they shouldn't be, at least Stoppable is out of school…"

"Maybe not boyfriend, Barkin wants Ron back in school with some conditions."

"What kind of conditions, Kimberly?"

"Those which are between Ron and the school authorities, he will make the decision since both of his parents are dead. I don't expect him to, either. I have to try and get hold of him."

"Let the authorities do their job Kimberly.", 'Eric' advised.

"I'm just a messenger Eric, they asked me to contact both you and Ron. Now I will meet you after work, Monique might be with me though, but Dad gave me some money to have dinner with you later."

"Kimberly, I insist that I buy…"

"I think Daddy gave me the money for dinner because he is beginning to accept what we have, so he might view refusing as an insult.", Kim argued.

Sigh, "I do not want to insult your father, Kimberly, I accept."

"Good, I'll call when I go on break tonight then. Now I have to get ready. I'll see you later.", the heroine responded.

"I will await your call Kimberly, thank you for inviting me.", Hans/Eric responded before he hung up.

Otto asked as Hans set the phone down, "Your girlfriend, Nephew?"

"Yes, she invited me to dinner after her shift tonight…and they want to talk to me at the school."

Otto sighed, then replied, "I told you not to lose your temper Hans, if you had kept your cool nothing would have happened and everyone would have gone on with their teenaged lives completely unaware of what is going to happen to them soon, but you struck two students during school hours just because a girl was giving you a hard time. You are an adult, you are supposedly a manipulator, and you are supposed to know better. I have told you before to keep your mind on the endgame and that is to eliminate the girl and the boy or at least make them unable to attack our clients."

"As you know Uncle, I do not take chastisement well. The Flanner girl pushed all my buttons, we should do something about her…"

Otto's eyes narrowed, "NO! We will not! This is the kind of thing that gets the police agencies involved. We have already messed with her father. We need to leave that family alone before someone starts connecting the dots, and your girlfriend has someone close to her that can do that. All we need is for something like that to get out of hand and the police get wind of it. Our advantage, which we have worked very hard to get, is to dissipate like fog in London."

"Huh?"

"Her tech person,", Otto explained.

"We have him hacked via James Possible, do we not?", Hans/'Eric' queried.

"Of what we know about Hans, we only know what the kid has connected to the net, not his total capability. Most people like that have more sources than they acknowledge.", the older German warned, "No sane person gives you a total tally of their capabilities."

"Should I try to get more information about him and what he can do from my girlfriend?"

Sighing in frustration, "Hans if we could do this without him knowing then I would say yes, but too many requests will certainly get his attention and might cause him to tighten his security and we do not want that."

"If Kimberly asks him…"

"How do we know that Miss Possible is his only client, Hans? What if he was an operative for one of their law enforcement agencies?", Otto inquired.

"Huh? I only know…", the master criminal thought for a moment, "She has never provided much information about the geek, maybe I should ask some questions over dinner."

Otto pressed since he had been bitten a few times in his long life, "Maybe you should. How do we know he is as young as he is supposed to be? How do we know that he isn't a part of the NSA or the FBI? I am not saying he is, but when you think of it you have to wonder how a genius got attached to a supposed teen hero. I am suspicious by nature, and because that I am very, very cautious. That is how I have lived as long as I have considering what I have gotten myself involved in over my life. I always question things and when something is too easy, I question it again and again."

"You have given me something to think about…"

"Finally, Hans.", Otto laughed as he clapped Hans on the shoulder.

"On another note, Otto, I have made a formal complaint to the division of Health and Family Services. I stressed that the idiot put his sister in danger in Japan. She had no reason to be there and she should be removed from his care. They are opening an investigation into my complaint. At the very least it will put even more pressure on that buffoon.", Hans/'Eric' grinned.

"The child is Japanese, isn't she?", Otto queried.

"Yes…I think so."

"Ask your girlfriend, she should know something about the child.", Otto advised, "Make it sound as you are being curious about the child, that would be a good time to bring up the agency you took the information to."

"I do not think anyone will believe me Uncle."

"Visit the hospital daycare, give them a small check to show you have compassion fitting your station (the older German finger quoted). You are supposed to be a noble whose family helps others.", Otto suggested, "I suggest you act like it."

Middleton Bueno Nacho:

Felix Renton and Zita Flores sat at Kim and Ron's old booth enjoying their after-school meals.

"Hey Wheels,", Dave Alberts, with Liz Sours holding his hand, greeted the wheelchair bound teenager.

"Hey Dave, Liz, come on sit with us if ya wanna.", Felix responded as he released the brake on his chair and rolled out of the way.

The other red headed cheerleader for Middleton High cheerleaders grinned as she slid in. Dave followed her which allowed Felix to go back to where he had his chair.

Liz kept her grin, "Our last year at ole MHS is just about done and I am soooo looking forward to going off to college with my squeeze."

"Us too,", Zita replied, "we both got full rides to Stanford and if we qualify after that, Cal Tech."

Dave whistled, "High end schools, guys, congrats."

Felix grinned, "Yeah, four years of hard work paid off, now the next eight years is gonna be tough…"

Zita grabbed the other genius's hand, "We can do it though. Have you guys seen Ron; he got shit on because he punched Barkin out."

Dave shook his head, "We've been busy."

Felix hadn't spoken about his best friend yet and decided to break his silence, "Ron's been suspended till the end of the year."

"Is he gonna fail the last semester?", Liz inquired.

"Yeah," Felix told them without revealing that he was getting assignments for Ron (Zita didn't even know.) "that's what it looks like. It's a shame, Ron looked like he was gonna make the honor roll this time even though he's taking two of the hardest classes in school."

Liz added, "A year ago Stoppable's grades were, uh, not very good, passing but not by much. I guess he always had it in him, too bad he has a temper…"

Dave grumbled, "Not as much as you think then Ron lost his schollie…".

Felix leaned in, "Ron suggested to Colorado State that they yank his scholarship offer when all that stuff with Asshole Barkin went down." then whispered, "You didn't hear this from me and I'll deny saying it, but Ron knew exactly what he was doing."

"I wonder how well the interview is going to go down?"

Zita inquired, "Interview?"

"Yeah, Uncle Nick interviews a couple of top high school players on where they're going and what they are doing. Ron's interview is later this week. Even though Ron got shit on, Nick wants to speak about it on the record and force this kind of crap into the open so everyone can see it.", Dave explained. "I don't think Mister Barkin is going to be very happy when Ron goes and spills about the crap going on around here. Already, underclassmen are transferring out of the school district and when sportswriters start asking why, someone is going to have to come up with answers that don't sound like shite. The guys are tired of playing for men that abuse them."

Liz elbowed her boyfriend in the ribs and chided him all the while giving him the 'stink eye', "Watch your language David Clarence Alberts, there are minors in the restaurant."

The high school QB chuckled, "Sorry, my fiancée is trying to smooth out the rough edges."

Zita asked to make sure she heard right, "Fiancée?"

Liz showed her left hand with the tiny diamond on her ring finger, "First one from the cheer squad to be off the market. Two-year engagement, we think between sophomore and junior years."

Zita asked, "What's your majors?"

Liz responded, "Business management for me and electrical engineering for Dave. He's already got us both internships for next summer at a place where one of his uncles works. I was thinking about teaching, but after being in school this long I just don't want to make it my life's work."

Felix thought aloud, "So, you guys are making huge plans with your lives…"

Dave grinned, "Yeah, our parents think it's great and it sounds like they are already putting money away for it."

The 'other' red head from the Middleton cheer squad muttered, "As long as I don't get knocked up for a while it's okay, but Mom is driving me nuts. 'Clarence' here took Dad out for coffee and donuts and asked his permission, which Dad did on the spot."

The now 'EX' high school QB chortled, "I figured that the best way to go about it was to get him away from the estrogen and into a more manly environment. Since I bought the grub, he musta felt obligated…"

Liz now crossed her arms, "Talking about grub, it's your turn to buy, now get moving." She then pointed to Ned who was at the counter.

"To death us do part.", Dave laughed lightly, "Be back in a couple, guys." The now almost graduated high school football star slid out of the booth and walked over to the counter.

Zita was wide eyed and asked, "Wow, you got Dave whipped, what did you do?"

"We really made a commitment to each other…in the bedroom right after he asked me.", Liz leaned in and spilled big time.

Zita was now wide eyed, "So you guys, did it?"

"Yeah, I have to admit it was pretty good."

Felix was half spaced out, "Sorta the way Kim and Ron did it, last fall, then?"

Liz squinted, "What are you talking about."

Zita leaned in, "We lost count on who knows, but they did it last fall when they were in Denver seeing Kim's Mom. I think both of her parents know and gave their consent considering where they were in their relationship."

Felix leaned forward, "Kim doesn't remember, and Ron now denies it. Before she lost her memory Kim told Monique and Monique blabbed."

Just as Dave returned with his, and more importantly, Liz's order, he chimed in, since he heard the last part, "I knew. Tank told me, Monique blabbed to him, Curt and their wives. Though I doubt they would have even known if Jenkins didn't spill and she got it right from Kim. According to the heroine, she liked it."

Liz agreed with a giggle, "It is enjoyable, you two should try it some time."

Zita grinned, "Well the weekend is coming, and my parents and Wheel's parents are out of town and we are being left to our own devices, so you never know."

XXX

"Thank you for inviting me out for dinner tonight, Kimberly.", Eric complimented his girlfriend.

"Dad must think a lot of you Eric since he bought. Monique, what did you think of that little sale we had today?", Kim posed to each of her companions.

Eric nodded as Monique responded, "We needed more staff tonight, that is for sure GF. The hair pulling by the customers was a little over the top."

"When that lady maced that thirteen-year-old I was ready to pull the plug on the sale.", Kim muttered as she tried to get a tangle out of her hair. The red head had spent a good thirty minutes washing the pepper spray off her, which she could still smell. She had to buy a new top and cargoes because she didn't want the scent to linger around her any more than it did.

Monique snorted, "A half-off sale gets people to go way overboard GF, but I have to agree that that was over the top. It was a good thing those security guys were close when it happened. I really didn't want you to show sixteen styles on them."

"Just a few pressure points, but I suppose it was for the best Moni. The next time they schedule a sale I'm bringing Kevlar and my gas mask."

'Eric'/Hans laughed lightly then decided it was time to drop the bomb, "Kimberly, I went to Health and Family Services and I felt compelled to reveal to them that your friend had put his sister in danger by taking her to Japan with him."

Monique's eye twitched, "Why did you do that, idiot?"

"Huh? The child was placed in a dangerous situation and I felt it was for her benefit if she was removed from her brother's care and placed with someone who would be a safer choice. Why do you care so much? You have made your distaste for the idiot clear enough.", the 'English teen' responded as he defended his actions to Monique.

"Maybe Ron didn't know something like that were gonna happen. That baby is Japanese. Was Japan declared off limits to Americans? If it was, I didn't hear anything about it on the news.", the fashionista countered, "And I am sure that Wade woulda had second thoughts about sending you and Kim over there if it was considered dangerous."

Kim asked, "Why are you defending Ron, Moni?"

"Maybe because I mighta gone off on him when I shouldn't have. I spoke with someone about my problem with your best friend and took his advice."

"What was the advice 'Nique?", Kim inquired.

"To take a deep breath and count to twenty before I gave someone a piece of my mind. I've tried to follow that and maybe grow up a little like you told Stoppable to do last year before the Junior Prom."

Orbiting Neptune:

The two aliens sat at the workstations in the command cabin of the interstellar spaceship.

(Warmonga, we should stake out our challenges to the human girl as our honor code demands.), the very large green-skinned warrior suggested to his battle mate.

(Warhok, the humans are not honorable, I do not think we should give them any advantage, they tricked me.), the irritated Lowardian female responded.

(Why are you more irritated with the female than your 'Great Blue', my love?)

(She seems to be the larger threat of the two, I say we take both off the planet for public execution and beam the event back to the planet. They embarrassed the future Emperor of the Lowardian Empire, that crime must not go unpunished.)

Warhok cautioned, (My father is interested in trading partners not conquering more planets now, he wants to fill the coffers since we have drained them fighting forty yarns of wars. I wish to inherit a wealthy throne not one depleted by war. Father only went so far in backing your expedition.)

(Are you with me till the end my love?), she asked the Prince.

(As I have stated before, but I do not wish to push father into a corner. He still can decide to disinherit me if I go against his wishes. I have a younger brother and sister as well as some cousins, so I do have to treat lightly.), Warhok reminded his mate, (I suggest moving out of orbit and closer to the blue planet and setting out drones so that we can decide how to proceed.)

The Possible home, Middleton, Colorado:

"I'm home Dad.", Kim called out as she entered. "Are you still up?"

"Family room, honey.", James' voice came back.

After Kim walked into the family room, James asked, "How did your evening go honey?"

"Surprise sale at CB so we didn't really have the girl power on hand, and it got a little out of hand. I had to buy a new outfit 'cause I got maced by a customer." Kim held up a plastic bag, "So, I have some laundry to do and put it in the dryer before I go to bed."

James chuckled, "Kids."

"No, she was in her forties. She wanted something for a daughter and got into a tugging match with Mike Little's baby sister. So, this woman is being mauled by this twelve-year-old and the woman maces her, then me when I tried to intervene.", Kim explained, "Dad, I'll be right back."

The red head took her bag downstairs to the washer and dryer.

In a few minutes she was back with two bottles of water. Before she sat down, "Here Dad.", and handed him a bottle.

"Thank you Kimmie. It's been a rough year, but thank goodness it's almost done. Have you called Ronald up yet?"

"Uh no Dad, I haven't had the chance. I did hear he was supposed to work tonight though so he probably won't be home until after I go to bed.", Kim groused.

"Could you have Wade check and see if Ronald is available to speak with you, Kimmie?", James queried.

"Yeah, I'll do that after I get my shower, Dad. Well, it's still a school night and I need to get some sleep."

X

Kim had just put her hair into a ponytail then sighed and pushed the 'connect' button on her wrist Kimmunicator.

Wade's holographic image appeared over the heroine's wrist. "What's up, Kim?", it asked.

"Wade, is Ron still at work? I mean I heard through the grapevine that he was working tonight…"

"Let me check…"

Kim could hear the sound of typing, then Wade's voice came back on, "He is between orders and is doing some dishes, I'll connect you."

"Thanks Wade."

"Your welcome Kim, the next voice you will hear is Ron Stoppable."

"Hello Kim.", a cheery voice came through the unit.

"How are you doing Ron?", the red-haired teen inquired.

"About average.", the blond teen responded as he slammed down the doors on the dishwasher and pushed the 'cycle start' button. Then she could hear metal being shifted and obviously put in some kind of container very quickly.

"It's sorta hard to talk to you with all that noise Ron…"

"I'm the only one in the kitchen right now until my overnight cook comes in…in about two hours.", he stated.

Then Kim heard in the background, "ORDER UP, MOVE IT STOPPABLE."

She heard someone obviously walking quickly, "Ron that is insane…"

"It's my life for the foreseeable future Kim…Good, two meat loaf dinners and a couple of hamburgers. Easy smeezy." Kim then heard sizzling sound.

Kim asked, "Can you talk?"

"Yeah, we're talking. I just have to do my job while we're talking, what can I do for you?", Ron pointed out.

"Barkin wants you back in school…he wants to give you two hours of detention, weekend detention, full load at summer school and then repeat your senior year…"

"I'm not taking any detention Kim, no summer school either. I am open, I guess, to coming back to school in the fall part time."

"Ron that's not the deal Mister Barkin wants, he feels you need the whole Middleton experience while you are going to school…"

"Kim, I can go to Lowerton after I move…and I will move this summer. If that idiot thinks he can just push me around I'll fuck up his other knee if he touches me again.", Ron warned, "Every time he takes a step, he'll remember that he screwed with me and I screwed with him in a permanent manner."

"Ron don't make threats…"

"Promises, Kim,", Ron corrected, "I am not going to speak with Barkin any time soon and if I do there will a lawyer present. If my guidance counsellor or the principal wants to speak with me, I'm open to that. They can meet me here or at a restaurant or the park or some place, but I have been suspended and I am not going to step inside the school if I don't have to. What you have to remember is that I can go back to Japan and just live there, my sister is Japanese and has dual citizenship with Japan and the US. It wouldn't be that hard for me to get Japanese citizenship since I speak the lingo."

"I didn't know…"

"Another thing to think about Kim."

"Yes?"

"Sometime soon I am going on trial for injuring Barkin. I have a feeling that they will want to keep us apart from each other for his safety."

"What will you do if convicted and have to go to jail, Ron?"

"My lawyer already worked that out. He has several people who offered to take her in until I serve my time and can start taking care of her again.", the blond teen responded as he flipped the burgers.

"Listen it's late for you and I see more customers coming in, I promise I will call the school office tomorrow and either make an appointment to speak with my guidance counsellor or Missus Magrath, but I have to really get going, talk to you later, good night, Kim.", then the line went dead.

"Damn.", the teen heroine muttered as she realized she was talking to herself.

Kim Possible, Ron Stoppable, Hanna, Mister Doctor Pea, Felix, Monique and all the rest of the canon characters in the show 'Kim Possible' belong to Bob, Mark and the Disney Corporation and not me, CB73 and Jimmy1201. We just do this for a hobby and to get people to take their meds.

We'll see ya down the road,
