Dance with The Rabbit
What is going on up there?
Looking upwards, Neo took note that a red bunny robot was attacking another horned android. Next to them, a root growing from the ground was about to hit something 'falling'.
Is that a person? A smaller robot? An alien? Whatever it is, the root is about to ascend it.
Just when the root was close to hitting the humanoid figure, the latter pulled out a blade. In less than one blink, the former had been cut into at least 10 pieces.
That thing is bloody fast! Its dexterity and reflexes are really, really good!
Neo admitted with envy.
After dealing with the root, the figure opened a reddish pink, paper-looking umbrella, which was shaped like a petal from a gorgeous tree. The figure slowed down its fall, landing gracefully at the point of the road that Neo and her mount were about to reach.
Won over by curiosity of finding out what the figure was and its intentions, Neo ordered her Jabberwalker to stop.
That's a female silhouette. Despite her face being covered with that dumb rabbit mask, I can tell that she's beautiful.
"Oi, konnichiwa, Piero-chan." The Rabbit said gleefully.
…
Neo didn't bother replying in any form.
"Right, the translator. Must pick a language the Ever Afterans understand." The Rabbit touched the device on her ear, which turned on a blue light.
"Hey, good day, clown girl."
…
Neo didn't bother replying in any form.
"Oops, wrong language." The Rabbit again tried to adjust the device in her ear.
No, it's the right setting. It's just that I'm mute and you are annoying.
"Oye, buenos días, payasita." For some reason unknown to everyone till this date, The Rabbit thought that Neo would be able to understand the mother language that one of her mentors spoke.
There's no way she's the one who came up with all the super-advanced airships and robots destroying the Ever After. She's dumber than anyone I met back in Remnant.
Neo with an annoyed look, proceeded to do with her hand a gesture trying to tell her to go back.
"So, it was the previous one. Why didn't you say so?" The Rabbit said embarrassed.
•
"If we bomb the acre, delete all the footage, and everyone here lies to The Dragon in their reports, we could get rid of The Rabbit." The Wolf said in a deadpan tone, looking at the screen displaying the scene in the commanding room.
"I'm down for it." The Monkey answered with no hesitation.
"Usagi is not the sharpest tool in the shed, but she's still my best friend." The Boar admitted with a tired voice. "Unfortunately."
•
"I do not want to scare you, but the Minotaurs, those big, automated robots, will shoot you down by mistake if you keep riding a threatening aura construct. My mission is the opposite though. I'm here to pick you up. Please, surrender, and let's go together to Zenith in peace." The Rabbit said, as she closed her 'paper' umbrella and placed it over her shoulder.
Zenith? Is that the name of the world invading the Ever After? Does she seriously think I will agree to her terms? When they are a bunch of psychos more insane than me?
The Jabberwalker that Neo was riding began to shake violently fast, breaking the ground under it.
You are worse than Salem! Eviler than Cinder! Yet you dare to act so innocently as if you were morally right and superior!?
"Are you undoing your construct? Guess that's a y-"
The Rabbit couldn't finish her sentence before the Jabberwalker launched its body at her.
"Aaagh!" The Rabbit groaned, as her body cracked the floor she landed on.
With full killing intent, the construct crashed down with The Rabbit, trapping her with a body lock takedown. By now, any normal Hunstmen from Remnant would have had his or her aura defenses depleted.
"End. End. End. End. End." The Jabberwalker repeated, trying to devour The Rabbit's head.
Neo jumped and rolled onto the ground. As much as she wanted to deal the killing blow, she didn't have time for that. Neo proceeded to make a Manticore Grimm construct and fly away from the scene, toward the area in which The Door was located.
Blacksmith, are you ready to escape?
Neo tried to get an answer back from them.
"I will make it there soon. Remember, I can move around the Ever After without trouble. Don't waste more time and try crossing The Door without any hesitation."
•
As Neo was about to reach The Door's clearing, The Rabbit jerked up her body and did her best to land a headbutt on the construct trying to eat her. The impact of the hit was so strong, it broke the mask, mouth, and face... Of the Jabberwalker.
After the construct raised its body and used its arms to cover its destroyed face, The Rabbit sensed that the ground below her was shaking. Without the lock keeping her down, she rolled sideways briskly. A second later, a big root came out from the ground, barely missing her rolling body and destroying Neo's construct in the process.
"Guess he... Needed to go back to his roots." The Rabbit joked with relief.
"I'm this close to nuking you." The Wolf exasperatedly replied through her ear comm device.
•
I see The Door. Looks like evacuations are complete.
Neo informed The Blacksmith.
"Cross it now, with no hesitation. Fly!"The Manticore sped up as if following The Blacksmith's order instead of hers.
Neo closed her eyes and tightened her grip on the Manticore's reins, with only some meters left to reach the portal.
I suppose this is it. Here I go... Remna-
"DO NOT THI-"
Just when Neo was receiving a desperate message from The Blacksmith, she and her construct crashed violently against the opened portal. The Manticore broke down entirely, while Neo's body got ricocheted 20 meters away from The Door. The sound of the impact was heard across the entire acre.
If it weren't for her aura protection, the crash would have killed her. It took her a couple of seconds to stop rolling. Doing her best to not pass out from the hit, Neo crawled and grabbed Hush and Roman's hat, which fortunately hadn't fallen far away.
"Please, I hope you can forgive me, from the bottom of your heart. I am extremely sorry, Neopolitan." The Blacksmith said alarmed and sad. "I forgot to remind you that the Ever After's Door can only take one to locations and periods he or she is needed. If one lacks a strong motivation or attachment to a specific place, The Door will not allow you to cross it."
As Neo heard this, tears again began to build up at the back of her eyes. The physical damage Neo received from the crash was far stronger than any hit team RWBY had ever landed on her, while the psychological one surpassed even Somewhat's sharp words from earlier. An out-of-control loud laugh could be heard in the distance. It belonged to The Rabbit, who was holding her stomach and rolling on the top of a nearby hill.
"That's what you get for attacking me while I had my guard down!" It wasn't just her laughing at Neo. From her comm device, the laughs of Monolith 1's entire crew could be heard. They had seen the entire scene on the screens of the commanding room.
Does that mean I cannot return to Remnant? Is it because I haven't ascended? Or am I simply no longer needed there?
Neo's deep frustration with herself continued to increase, as she was about to start sniffing and her throat began to hurt.
Of course, who needs me the way I am!?
She thought to herself, angrily twisting Hush with both hands and her vision clouding with tears.
"It's nothing like that, Neo. All you need-" The Blacksmith was interrupted by a loud explosion.
One of the Minotaurs flying above the area had used its rocket launcher to destroy The Door's frame, making its portal collapse. Neo's body out of reflex, rather than due to a conscious thought, opened Hush to shield herself from the shockwave and heat.
"Oi, stop the Minotaurs! You are going to kill her!" The Rabbit, having her laugh also interrupted, voiced her complaint toward her comm device.
"Usagi, do you still want to capture her alive, despite what she did to you?" The Monkey asked with surprise.
"Protocol or not, I want her alive. Reprogram already the Minotaurs, so that they don't shoot the girl or her constructs." The Rabbit commanded with a serious tone she hadn't used before.
"Rabbit, your side-mission is not worth the tro-" As The Wolf was replying, The Boar interrupted him. "I'm on it, Usagi-chan. As long as the Minotaurs keep attacking the roots and other parts of the tree, there shouldn't be any problem. Right, Grand Admiral?"
"Just capture her already." The Wolf answered spitefully.
"Thanks, Grand Admiral." The Rabbit said to her comm device.
The smoke and fire from the explosion in the area was beginning to clear. From it, the shape of Neo and Hush emerged. She headed in the direction of the hill, with her head down and Roman's hat covering her face.
"Neo, what are you doing? You need to escape! Do not pick a fight with that girl! She's possibly in a different league compared to anyone you have faced before." The Blacksmith tried to warn Neo, but she wasn't listening.
"Ah, small doll. Have you accepted my offer?" The Rabbit happily asked as Neo stopped in front of the hill she was standing on.
The girl from Remnant obviously didn't reply. Instead, she gave a slight spin to Hush with an elegant movement of her wrist, closed it, and pointed its tip in The Rabbit's direction. Neo raised her face to show how angry she was, trying to pierce the 'opponent' with her gaze.
"You want to fight me? For real?" The Rabbit's tone carried not only disappointment but also a bit of sadness. "I can let slide what you did to me back there. I mean it."
Neo pushed a button on Hush, to eject the blade hidden at its tip.
"... Sorry, I shouldn't have laughed at you." The Rabbit gracefully kneeled.
Neo was surprised by this weird gesture. No one had ever apologized to her like this before.
An enemy completely lowering her defenses while apologizing?
Neo remembered the lame way Cinder had apologized to her back in Atlas to get the relic from her. Then she recalled how Ruby didn't attempt to apologize to her back when they fought during their 'tea party'.
"Rabbit, what are you doing!? Knock her down, now!" The Wolf's voice coming out of her comm device said.
Why? Your army is destroying the Ever After, yet you are apologizing? Just for laughing at me some minutes ago? Even after I tried to murder you? What's wrong with you!?
Neo confused, noticed that The Rabbit was still kneeling, completely facing the ground. She decided to summon a small pebble with Overactive Imagination and threw it gently at The Rabbit's head.
"Uh, what's the matter?" The Rabbit said puzzled.
I'm not going to fall for your trick! You are probably going to do the same thing as Cinder!
She started constructing an Ursa Major.
No one would ever pull such a stunt without expecting something in return.
"Guess our fight is unavoidable, but thanks for letting me know. You are more honorable and gentler than I thought." The Rabbit saying this, grabbed with her right hand the paper umbrella from earlier hanging on her back, while her left hand grabbed a small sword (wakizashi) tied to the back of her waist. "Sakura, we are seeing some action today. Please, be gentle and don't break this beautiful doll."
Neo couldn't help getting a bit embarrassed, yet angry at how The Rabbit kept treating her.
She ordered the Grimm to jump and land on her opponent. The creature, releasing a loud growl, ran towards the hill, but as Neo was watching from its back from afar, a sudden vertical flash shone for a moment.
Perhaps it was due to Blacksmith's earlier warning, or because she had seen The Rabbit cut down skillfully a root some minutes ago, but unlike with previous fights Neo partook in, she decided to not let her guard down from the get-go. A decision that saved her life.
The vertical flash turned out to be a pressurized slice from The Rabbit's wakizashi, boosted by her aura. Not only did it cut in two halves the Ursa Major but even the ground. Neo barely managed to side-step in time to dodge the slice that kept cutting the ground making it outside of The Door's area and... The Great Tree's acre, reaching a neighboring one and continuing to cut anything on its path. Once it made it past the far horizon, Neo's eyes couldn't perceive anymore how long it took for the slice to dissipate.
With her eyes subconsciously colored white by her semblance, for the third time that day, Neo turned toward The Rabbit.
YOU CALL THAT GENTLE, BITCH!? THAT ATTACK COULD HAVE CUT EVEN MONSTRA IN HALF!
"Sorry. Thought that your aura level was a bit higher. I guess you aren't one of those with an Apex Semblance. I will hold back more." The Rabbit, looking at Neo's panicked and desperate face, stopped herself from following her attack.
Apex what!? Hold back even more!? Blacksmith, do you know anything useful about her? How can this dumb girl be more dangerous than a Maiden?
Neo asked, not taking her eyes off the enemy.
"All I can confirm is that she comes from Zenith. A world that is going around conquering and destroying other ones, to steal the energy from their anima mundi. Boosting their power, the more worlds they take down." Neo couldn't handle their words and started instead to construct team RWBY with her semblance before the rabbit girl resumed her assault.
Never mind. You are just making matters more confusing and leaving me with more questions. We will talk about this whole Zenith issue later... If I make it out alive from this fight.
Using the same move Neo saw team RWBY land on the Curious Cat in their fight one year ago, she hoped that the rabbit monster wouldn't be able to properly handle multiple enemies at once.
The Ruby construct attacking head-on, jumped quickly in the direction of the hill, while The Rabbit chose to jump backward to dodge the scythe attack in advance.
Got you! Weiss do your thing.
The characteristic Schnee Glyphs that team RWBY constantly used to ricochet, while accelerating and winning momentum, manifested all around The Rabbit. Behind her, the Yang and Blake constructs appeared. She was surrounded and about to be the victim of a team chain attack.
"Wow, you can do this by yourself? Not bad." The Rabbit sounded amazed. "But there's still room for improvement."
What did you say?
The Rabbit quickly opened her Sakura umbrella and threw it behind her. The umbrella's spinning edge cut down with a horizontal slice the Blake construct, before flying and cutting down next the Yang one. At the same time, The Rabbit stopped Ruby's scythe with her wakizashi, holding her in place so that she couldn't defend from Sakura's slice. The umbrella finished flying around its owner, before returning to her hand as if it were a boomerang.
Only the Weiss construct next to Neo was spared.
How?
Neo wanted to ask, but couldn't. As if reading her thoughts, The Rabbit replied.
"At first glance, the enemy placement is intimidating, but the constructs lacked perfect coordination. If they aren't well synchronized, it's easy to tell which one is better to deal with first. The red one was the fastest and counted with a medium-range weapon, which made it the top priority to immobilize first. The second fastest was the black construct with a blade, but she was behind me, so I had to prioritize destroying that one with Sakura. The yellow one was the slowest and had a very close-range weapon. Pretty much the obvious second choice to destroy. Finally, taking advantage of Sakura's increasing orbit, as it was flying around me, I cut down the immobilized red one."
Oh... Makes sense. Assassin from another world, 1. Power of friendship, 0.
The Weiss construct looked worried at her summoner, waiting for a new order. Neo, gently putting a hand on Weiss's shoulder and giving her a sweet sympathetic look, decided to dispel her.
Sorry, Schnee. I got your friends killed. You must live on, to honor their memory.
Neo then moved Hush around with her hand, with a puzzled look.
How did you control Sakura so efficiently around you?
The Rabbit understood what she wanted to ask.
"With my AAIS bracelet. Advanced Aura Interlink System. It allows me to extend my aura to Sakura and control its flying trajectory easily, even without touching my weapon. They don't have those around here or whatever world you come from?" Neo looked at the silver bracelet around The Rabbit's right wrist.
She shook her head, although she wasn't sure if The Rabbit would understand the meaning of that gesture.
Neo also saw that The Rabbit had a second one in her left arm, and wondered if it was also meant to be used with Sakura or another weapon.
"This one is for Ranran. You saw her earlier. Red and big ears." The female opponent pointed to the rabbit ears of her mask.
Zenith.
Neo couldn't help but imagine what kind of world the rabbit girl came from.
The Polendinas would have loved to learn about this.
"By the way, are you by any chance mu-" Before The Rabbit finished her question, Neo raised her hand with her open palm to stop her. "Oh, I understand. My bad."
She's not only more powerful and capable than anyone I met back in Remnant but also as perceptive as Roman. Too bad she's on the enemy side.
•
"I should have her executed via firing squad or hara-kiri, for revealing this much to an enemy from a nadir world." The Wolf said irritated, watching everything from the commanding room.
"I think she's trying to win the clown girl over, Grand Admiral. Instead of just treating her harshly. Or killing her." The Boar replied to The Wolf doing her best to suppress the disdain for him.
"Sir, sadly we need that girl alive. To analyze the frequency of her aura and invade her world next. In case she's not an Ever Afteran." The Monkey complemented his partner's reply.
"The Tree is what matters." The Wolf said while dismissing the statements of his two subordinates. "Why is that thing taking its time to show up?"
•
"You got no chance to beat her." The Blacksmith said to Neo, as objectively as possible.
I know. I can't win alone in a fair fight against her, even with my enhanced semblance.
"I will try to open another portal for you to escape." The Blacksmith proposed a plan.
Not now. It's going to get bombed by those Minotaurs, when I try to cross it. Besides, I don't think she's letting me get away easily. We need to catch her off guard, again.
"She's too fast for The Tree's roots to ascend." The Blacksmith reminded Neo.
Then we need to work together. Coordinate our attacks, as best as possible.
"Teamwork? With The Great Tree?" The Blacksmith asked Neo with astonishment.
Why not? Even a tree cannot be a worse fight partner than Cinder.
"Ha! You always find a way to surprise me, Neo." The Blacksmith gladly replied to the proposal.
I simply miss that feeling. Having a real partner. It's been a while since Beacon's Fall.
"... Regarding the agreement from earlier, I'm planning on fulfilling my end of the bargain, at all costs." The Blacksmith said with a calm yet determined voice.
Thanks.
•
"Oi, cute doll. Do you hear me?" The Rabbit asked as she noticed that Neo was a bit too immersed in her thoughts. Somehow, Neo had developed enough trust in the rabbit girl to not be afraid of lowering her guard. But just a moment after The Rabbit delivered her question, Neo started running toward the hill.
The third time is the charm. Now!
What followed took not only The Rabbit but also the crew of the Monoliths by surprise. As Neo was 10 meters away from reaching the hill, a root sprouted from the ground, just where she was going to step next. The strength of The Great Tree's root and Neo's aura combined, launched the latter fast toward The Rabbit, covering fast the distance that the Ruby Rose and Ursa Major constructs had failed to cross.
"No way, you can touch The Tree without getting ascended, but how!?" The Rabbit once again made a question that Neo wasn't planning on answering.
Time for Nora Valkyrie's hammer, Magnhild.
Via her semblance, Neo turned Hush into a big hammer, which she attempted to swing down on The Rabbit's head.
"Still too slow." The Rabbit once more jumped backward to dodge an attack, but it was all part of the plan. As the hammer landed and destroyed the hill The Rabbit was standing on, another root emerged from the ground behind her. It was going to hit her in the back.
"Got that covered too." The Rabbit declared, opening Sakura to shield her back and deflect the root.
But what about this?
Neo turned the hammer into its grenade launcher mode and started shooting explosive projectiles at her target.
"Nani?" The Rabbit quickly used her wakizashi to destroy the grenades but slicing them in half didn't stop the projectiles from releasing tons of pink smoke, which surrounded her body and made it harder to see the battlefield.
Blacksmith!
Two trees with big branches, located next to what used to be the hill both girls were fighting on, bent and abruptly fell on top of where The Rabbit was standing.
That's got to do the tri-
As the trees were falling, the Minotaurs flying around the area started to shoot at them. Making both fall backward and miss The Rabbit entirely.
No, we were so close!
Frustrated, Neo quickly activated her semblance again, to summon a bunch of green swords, flying horizontally in a circle formation around her body, Penny's Floating Array. In her hands, she summoned Ironwood's Due Process.
Blacksmith, Plan B. Prepare and wait for my signal.
"That wasn't bad, doll. But you must do better if you want to catch me." As she spoke, Neo ran forward and shot at her with both guns.
It's not a fighting style she loved to use, but it had a chance to work. The Rabbit decided to jump over her and into the main clearing to dodge her shots, where The Door used to be located.
Neo followed her enemy, shooting and keeping Penny's swords flying around her body. But as she approached The Rabbit, her sword constructs started to vanish and the bullets were stopped midair.
It was The Rabbit, swinging both of her weapons so fast, that she easily was destroying Penny's swords and cutting down bullets. Neo could barely see her movements. Just when she was preparing to take a couple of more shots, The Rabbit sliced horizontally her wakizashi again, cutting in half both of Ironwood's guns.
Really!?
As Sakura was about to hit her body, Neo took the remaining two green swords flying around her to stop the enemy's attack. She reinforced them with an extra dose of her aura.
Neo was honing her senses and reflexes as best as possible. Never in her life, she had fought this seriously before.
The impact of the hit was still strong enough to send her flying a few meters back, but without losing her balance, she elegantly landed on her heels.
"You are so adorable and stylish." The Rabbit said as she was beginning to get ready again to slash at her.
Weiss, Blacksmith, now!
Before The Rabbit charged at her, a Schnee glyph appeared below her feet and froze them in place.
"Wait, don't these glyphs belong to the beautiful white girl from earlier?" As she asked this, Weiss Schnee's figure reappeared by Neo's side. "When did you summon her again?"
It turned out that Neo had never unsummoned the Weiss construct. Earlier on, all she did was turn Weiss invisible with her semblance. Saving the construct for later, in case something went wrong.
"Unless she was still there the entire time!"
It's over. This time the Minotaurs cannot save her.
The ground below the glyph was shaking. A root was about to come out soon.
"Doll girl, you are incredible." The Rabbit said joyfully.
For a moment, even if she didn't want to admit it since that fateful day, Neo felt bad for what was about to happen to the rabbit girl. She had never imagined that an opponent would treat her so kindly and politely.
I wish I had known you for longer and under better circumstances. I was also beginning to find you adorable. Maybe if we both ascend together, we can become friends in our next lives. Thanks for not belittling me... And goodbye, cute bunny.
"Boost!" As Neo thought to herself, she heard The Rabbit say something.
Um, pardon?
"AAAAAAH!" The Rabbit screamed while strong gusts and shockwaves came out from her body.
Neo watched the entire clearing shaking and her opponent's body emitting a strong violet light, which soon grew into a big and tall flame that illuminated the entire place.
Is that her aura?
The clearing's ground cracked all over the place, while Neo and her Weiss construct looked scared at each other.
"NOW!" After The Rabbit screamed, her frozen legs began to vibrate at insane speeds, breaking the ice and undoing the glyph that immobilized her.
She ran in Neo and Weiss's direction, escaping from the root that was aiming at her, but due to her legs being frozen for so long, the umbrella-wielder quickly lost her balance and tripped. Disastrously rolling several times forward, she crashed against her frightened rivals, who were hugging each other as they witnessed the terrifying feat of the rabbit girl. The three collapsed on the ground, with Neo's construct cracking from the impact.
"Ah, barely made it." The Rabbit once again was relieved to escape ascension. As the root that sprouted in the clearing tried one more time to reach The Rabbit's body, it was shot down and reduced to shreds by the Minotaurs' machine guns.
"What did you do?" The Weiss construct asked in Neo's stead, with clear signs of pain. Neo was still busy recovering from the crash between the three.
"Your constructs can talk!? Cool!" The Rabbit briefly ignored Weiss's question, to throw another compliment at her rival. "I boosted my aura's level temporarily and concentrated it on my legs, to increase their strength. Aura boost. It's a basic fighting technique back in Zenith."
Neo and Weiss alike were surprised by The Rabbit's casual response.
People in her world can do that!? I knew that special cases in Remnant, such as Jaune Arc or Yang Xiao Long, could pull off similar feats, but that was relying on semblances. I didn't know that it was possible for a technique to boost or decrease your aura level at will, especially to this degree.
"So, still not giving up?" The Rabbit asked both girls, crouching to see them at eye level, while they were on their knees struggling to stand.
Will never give up! You are the reason the Ever After is under attack and I cannot ascend now.
Neo gave a determined and angry look at her opponent, forcing herself to stand up. Unfortunately, her Weiss construct couldn't do the same, as more pink cracks appeared across its entire body.
"This beautiful construct of yours is certainly a troublesome one, so I will..." The Rabbit pulled Sakura again and raised it over Weiss's head.
"Ah!" The construct released a small scream, closing its eyes and covering its head with both arms. But the hit never landed.
"You are making me feel like the villain of the story." The Rabbit stated as she stopped Sakura a few centimeters away from hitting Weiss's head.
Your side is nuking this place! You are the villain of the story! Well, not like I'm the one to talk... In every sense of the phrase.
Neo thought, hoping the message would come across her rival's head.
You did better than I was expecting. You can rest now, Weiss.
Neo gave a head pat to her construct, who opened her eyes and smiled as she was tenderly dispelled.
"A dear friend of yours?" The Rabbit inquired, while Neo contemplated the last vanishing shards of her construct, but she ignored the question.
"Jacques Schnee. Jimmy Vanille. Both of you always shared a common ground that she was never made aware of. That night party is a memory that still haunts you." The Blacksmith said, inside Neo's mind.
Stop. It's already too late for that.
Neo didn't want to admit that she was aware, since long ago, that maybe if she hadn't been so obsessed with her vengeance, an opportunity to get along with the Schnee heiress could have risen.
I rather forget entirely about my parental issues and my life as a Vanille. Another reason to beat this enemy.
Neo decided to stop the current train of thought that the three of them were having.
Anyway, time for Plan C.
"We didn't come up with a Plan C!" The Blacksmith answered, taken aback.
I know, we will make it up as we go. Don't think. Imagine!
Neo confidently thought.
"You are surprisingly stubborn, once you make up your mind."
Now you know how I ended up over here, trapped in another dimension, fighting a world that wants to nuke a big tree.
Neo thought, trying to cheer The Blacksmith and herself, despite the odds being against them.
"Ha. Certainly, that stubbornness is a quality that Roman and you shared. Now I get why both of you were partners." The Blacksmith said.
You are also kind of my partner now, so let's keep being stubborn together.
•
"Where the hell is that damned thing? This is taking too long!" The impatient admiral complained, watching the fight unfold at the commanding center "Perhaps we need a more aggressive approach."
"Grand Admiral?" The Boar tried to call his attention only to get ignored.
"Reprogram the Minotaurs. We will begin to destroy the acre and attack The Great Tree." The admiral gave a new order to his crew.
"But Usagi and the priority target are still down there." The Boar protested.
"Which increases the chances of the plan working." The Wolf answered, mocking her concern.
