The swordsman of water surges forth
The residents of the church stared at Rintaro in silence for a few seconds before suddenly everyone got their Grimoires out, with Asta pointing Rekka at the newcomer.
"H-hey now! There's no need to be alarmed." Rintaro said as he raised his arms into the air.
"Don't be alarmed! You walked in uninvited! That's breaking the law even though you are a Magic Knight…huh?" Asta exclaimed before realizing what he said as the ash-white hair teen and the others notice the robe that Rintaro is wearing.
"What Magic Knight squad are you apart of? I don't recognize that emblem." Father Orsi asked looking at the emblem embroiled on Rintaro's robes.
"My name is Rintaro Shindo, a member of the Sword Of Logos squad." Rintaro fully introduce himself.
"Sword Of Logos? I don't think I recognize that Magic knight." Father Orsi said in a confuse tone of voice, frowning slightly.
"You wouldn't. The Sword Of Logos is pretty much a secretive Magic Knight squad, so not many people who live in the Common Realm and Forsaken Realm don't know about us. And even in the Nobel Realm we are only known by name." Rintaro explained, causing Father Orsi, Sister Lilly and Yuno to gain a slight surprise expression on their faces whilst Asta has stars in his eyes.
"So why exactly did you come here to speak with Asta?" Yuno asked, his eyes narrowing slightly.
"There's no need to be defensive. I'm not here to harm, Asta. I'm not suspicious at all." Rintaro said whilst smiling in a creepy way.
"….Yes you are." The four residents of the church said at the same time, making Rintaro sweet drop.
"A-anyway. I'm here to talk with Asta about what happened today." Rintaro said, making the other four in the room curious.
"That golem you fought is apart of a group called the Megid, monsters that are aiming to attain a great power to be able to take over the world. It's the duty of the Sword Of Logos to fight them." Rintaro explained, making Asta nod his head.
"And what do you want me to do?" Asta asked, becoming serious.
"It depends. What is your current goal?" Rintaro asked, making Asta blink his eyes.
"Me and Yuno are going to join a Magic Knight squad in order to become the next Wizard King." Asta explained, making Yuno nod his head.
Rintaro gained a surprise expression on his face at the Wizard King part.
"Well, that make things easier since your quite attached to that Wonder-Ride Book." Rintaro said, making Asta confuse.
"What do you mean by that?" Asta asked, starting to become tense.
"To put things simply, I need to take you back to Headquarters." Rintaro explained, causing silence to fill the room for a few seconds.
"W-what do you mean?! As in Asta joining the Sword Of Logos right now?" Father Orsi asked, making Rintaro to nod his head.
"Yes. That's pretty much it." Rintaro replied, making Asta shock.
"But what about the Magic Knight entrance exam? That doesn't start in six month's time." Asta asked, making Rintaro chuckle slightly.
"The Sword Of Logos is different from the rest of the Magic knight squads, that's including their way of entry." Rintaro explained just as his Grimoire floated next to him and the pages started to flip by themselves.
"In most cases, for someone to become a member of the Sword Of Logos, they need to be chosen by a Holy Sword." Rintaro explained just as everyone's eyes widened as Rintaro is now holding a sword that is the same to Asta's Rekka, but with a blue guard instead of red and a blue strip running along the middle of the blade.
"This is Nagare, the sword of currents." Rintaro introduce his sword to the gathered group.
"….Does the chosen person feel pain and get attack by the respective elements when they first touch their Holy Sword?" Asta asked, something that made both Sister Lilly and Father Orsi shock.
"Yes. You can say that's the entrance exam for the Sword of Logos, trail by fire as it is." Rintaro replied, making Asta nod his head.
"So when does Asta needs to get going?" Yuno asked, making Asta look at his foster brother with a slight confuse expression on his face.
"You don't mind that I'm getting a head start?" Asta asked, making Yuno shake his head.
"Not at all. I think you need the six month head start anyway…." Yuno replied which cause Asta to become angry.
"What's that suppose to mean?!" Asta shouted before attempting to "attack" Yuno.
However, the taller boy raised a arm and caught Asta's head with his hand.
"…..Is he always like this?" Rintaro asked, watching Asta swinging his arms in attempt to hit Yuno.
"Yes. Asta is a lively one." Sister Lilly replied with a sheepish smile on her face.
"I see. To answer Yuno's question, it's best if we leave as soon as we can. We may never know when the Megid will strike next, so we need to make haste." Rintaro explained, causing Asta, who had stop "attacking" Yuno in order to listen to the reply, to nod his head.
Its the next day and both Asta and Rintaro have started their journey towards the Sword of Logos base.
Rintaro has decided to go by foot in order to help improve Asta's sword skills and probably learn a new spell or two for his Grimoire.
Rintaro has explained to the captain of the Sword Of Logos, through a communication device, about what has happened and there will be a delay for his return.
"Hey, Rintaro." Asta said, making the wielder of Nagare to turn his head to the side to look at the ash-white hair teen as the two of them walked along a road.
"Why are there three slots on the Seiken Sword-driver?" Asta asked, becoming curious.
"The Wonder-Ride books are split into three categories. The book of god-beasts, books that are about magical creatures. The book of animals, books about living animals. And the book of stories, books that are about the many stories that exist in the world." Rintaro explained, making Asta's eyes widened.
"So my "Brave Dragon" Wonder-Ride is apart of the book of god beasts, then?" Asta guessed, making Rintaro nod his head.
"That's right. My main Wonder-Ride book is apart of the book of animals." Rintaro explained, making Asta nod his head.
"I'm guessing that Rintaro's Wonder-Ride book is a water-based animal since Nagare seems like a water-based sword." Asta thought, frowning slightly as ideas started to appear in his head.
"Haaa!" Asta shouted as he charge towards Rintaro, Rekka at the ready. It's the first night of their journey and the two travelers have stopped walking for the day.
Right now, the two are dueling with their swords so that Rintaro can see what level of skill Asta is at with a sword.
"Hmm. For someone who hasn't wielded a sword before, he's skilled for a beginner." Rintaro thought as he blocked a horizontal sword strike.
"Let mix things up." Rintaro thought before his Grimoire started to float in the air.
"Water Magic:Aqua Bullets." Rintaro announced whilst holding out a arm.
Multiple bullets made out of water went flying straight towards Asta.
"Gah!" The ash-white hair teen exclaimed as he dived to the side to avoid the magic attack.
"S-so. That's how you want to play, huh?" Asta muttered as he stood up and prepared his own magic.
Since Asta hasn't acquired any spells for his Grimiore, he just had to form a ball made of fire and throw in at Rintaro.
The wielder of Nagare stood where he was has his Grimiore flip through its pages again.
"Water Creation Magic: Water Lion's Shield." Rintaro said as a shield, in the shape of a lion's head, appeared in front of him.
Asta's magic attack simply disappeared when it made contact with the water shield.
When Rintaro dispel the shield, he notice that Asta has vanished.
"…Where did he go…!" Rintaro thought in confusion before sensing someone approaching him from the side.
He quickly turned around and raised Nagare to block a attack from Rekka.
"Decided to do a sneak attack?" Rintaro asked with a smirk on his face as he hold his ground.
"Wasn't that obvious?" Asta responded as he put more pressure behind Rekka.
After a few seconds, Rintaro jumped back, making Asta stumbled forwards before managing to regain his balance just in time to block a attack from Nagare.
It has been many days since Asta and Rintaro have started their journey have been making good progress.
"It won't be long now, Asta. At least two more days." Rintaro explained as the two of them decided to rest in a small town.
"Heh. That's good to hear." Asta said in a relieve tone of voice.
"Eager to start your life as a Magic Knight?" Rintaro asked, making Asta nod his head slightly.
"That's good to hear. The life of a Magic Knight is a demanding one, making sure that everything is peaceful within the Clover kingdom. The Sword Of Logos also hold a great responsibility in fighting the Megid." Rintaro explained, making Asta nod his head again.
"Should I mention to Rintaro about my dream or wait until we meet the captain of the Sword Of Logos?" Asta thought, frowning slightly.
"Is there something wrong, Asta?" Rintaro asked, noticing the frown on Asta's face.
"O-oh! I was just thinking about something." The ash-white hair teen replied quickly just before a thought enter his head.
"Rintaro. How big is the Sword Of Logos? If members are chosen by Holy Swords, then that means there must be fewer members than the rest of the Magic knight squads." Asta asked, making Rintaro frown slightly.
"Well, I can't denied that the Sword Of Logos have fewer members than the rest of the Magic Knight squads. But we're operating just as effectively as the others." Rintaro explained, making Asta nod his head slightly.
It was then that Rintaro stopped walking.
"Rintaro?" Asta asked, a bit startled at Rintaro's sudden stop.
The ash-white hair teen notice that the wielder of Nagare's vision seemed to be zoning onto something.
Asta's followed Rintaro's gaze which is fixed on a bakery/sweet shop.
"….Do you have a liking for sweets?" Asta asked, thinking that nobody would have the same expression as Rintaro's for some bread…unless they were hungry.
"W-well, I can't denied that I have a liking for sweets. I know that excess sugar is bad for you, but sugar is good for your brain." Rintaro explained in a slightly embarrassed tone of voice.
It was then that screams can be heard, making both Asta and Rintaro to widened their eyes.
"Is the town getting attacked?!" Asta asked whilst gaining a bad feeling.
"Come on. We need to check it out." Rintaro said in a serious tone of voice before heading in the direction of the screams, being followed by Asta.
"Come on, boys! Lets steal everything to our hearts contents!" A quite muscular man exclaimed to nine other men who are wearing slightly ripped clothes who shouted with glee in response as the townsfolk started to ran away from them in fear.
"Heh. That's what I like to hear. Now, lets get rid of the stone work to making the stealing easier." The muscular man said with a smirk on his face before getting his Grimoire out.
"Plant Magic: Monster Plant." The muscular man announced and a large plant suddenly sprouted behind him.
The top part of the plant opened like four mouths, which are facing different directions, and started to suck in the air like a vacuum along with letting it's vines thrash about.
The stone works of the buildings and the general materials that made up the town started to breakaway and got eaten by the plant.
It was at that moment that a girl, who was hiding behind some creates, got picked up by the plant's suction.
"AAAA!" The girl screamed in fear as she was pulled towards one of the plant's mouths.
"I got you!" A voice suddenly shouted and a hand grabbed onto the little girl's outstretched arm.
"Now all I need to do is to prevent myself from getting sucked in." Asta thought as he used his free hand to grab onto a piece of metal railing. The suction increased like the plant can tell that something is not getting sucked in.
"Hold on! Hold on! Hold on!" Asta shouted in his head as his grip on the metal railing started to slip.
"Asta!" A voice of a little girl suddenly shouted in Asta's head, making the ash-white hair teen to widened his eyes.
"Wha-" Asta began to thought but it was at that moment that a water-based attack sped past the ash-white hair teen and the little girl, hitting the plant and stopping the suction.
The little girl suddenly fell, but Asta was quick to catch her before she could hit the ground.
"Are you okay?" Asta asked, causing the little girl to shake her head, still having a scared expression on her face.
"Its not safe here. You need to get going." Asta explained as he place the little girl on the ground, causing the girl to nod her head before running away.
"Asta. Are you and that girl okay?" Rintaro asked as he approach Asta.
"Yes. The girl is safe. I just sent her away." Asta explained, making Rintaro to nod his head.
"Hey!" A voice shouted, making the two sword-wielders to turn their heads to see the group of men approaching them.
"Were your the ones that attacked my plant?" Demanded the muscular man.
"Yes. What of it?" Rintaro asked in a serious tone of voice.
"Why the hell did you ruin our fun?" The muscular man demanded again.
"Ruin your fun?! Your the ones who attacking the town!" Asta shouted back with a angry expression on his face, making Rintaro nod his head in agreement.
"What's wrong with that? Us bandits like to have this sort of fun, right boys?" The bandit leader said, making the others nod their heads in agreement.
"You call destroying and stealing fun?" Asta asked, making the bandit leader nod his head.
"Yep. That's the life of a bandit after all. And a single Magic Knight and a little boy can't stop us " The bandit leader replied with a smirk on his face, noticing the robe that Rintaro is wearing.
This cause Asta to growl in anger and began to retrieve his Seiken Sword-driver.
"In the name of Nagare, the sword of currents, I will keep peace out of harm's reach." Rintaro said, now donning his own Seiken Sword-driver along with taking out a Wonder-Ride book that has a blue border and picture of a blue lion under the title "Lion Senki". At the bottom of the picture, the red arrow is present in the middle bar.
Rintaro opened the cover, revealing a silhouette of a lion done is pale blue.
"This blue mane records anew the wars of a new king."
The "Lion Senki" Wonder-Ride book announced before Rintaro closed the "book" and prepared to place it within the center slot.
"A lion!? I thought it would a aquatic creature! Since when do lions associate with the element of water?" Asta questioned in his head as he and the group of bandits watched as a standby sound, different from the ash-white hair teen's driver, started to play, along with a giant version of the "Lion Senki" Wonder-Ride book appearing behind Rintaro as he place a hand on Nagare before pulling the sword of currents out of the Seiken Sword-driver.
"Henshin!" Rintaro shouted before making a horizontal slash with Nagare.
Unsheathe the current!
The Driver announced as the two versions of the "Lion Senki" Wonder-Ride book opened, revealing the torso and left arm of a armored figure.
A blue mechanical lion jumped out of the book and started to circle Rintaro.
~lion Senki~
Nagare: Volume 1-When the king of the wilds and Nagare, the sword of currents, unite, the azure blade shall bare it fangs!
The Driver announced just as the blue lion fused with Rintaro, donning him in a black under-suit with some parts being silver and some blue armor parts mainly being on the legs and a face of a lion present of the chest. There is also two blue strips on his back and two attached from his belt. His helmet is mostly black with the forehead being blue and a silver blade protruding like a horn. The horizontal slash that Rintaro made earlier placed itself on the mask, transforming into a visor that flicks upwards to the right.
Once the transformation has ended, the group of bandits were left with expressions of shock whilst Asta has stars in his eyes.
"W-what?!" The bandit leader exclaimed in shock.
"I am the swordsman of water. Kamen Rider Blades." Rintaro, now known as Blades, introduce himself.
"Huh? Rintaro is using a different name?" Asta thought, becoming surprise.
"Hah. It doesn't matter what you called yourself, we will still crush you." The Bandit leader said, causing the nine other bandits to activate their own magic, mainly involving different types of metal, before charging towards Blades and Asta.
"W-whoa!" Asta exclaimed as he ducked under a copper club before strapping his own Seiken Sword-drive onto his waist before retrieving the "Brave Dragon" Wonder-Ride book.
"Henshin!" Asta announced, repeating what Rintaro said earlier, removing Rekka from the driver before undergoing the transformation.
Unsheathe the Flames!
~Brave Dragon~
Rekka: Volume 1-When the brave dragon and Rekka, the sword of flames, unite, the crimson blade shall pierce all that is evil!
Asta, now donned in armor, battered a incoming attack from the same copper club away before unleashing his own attack with Rekka.
"Another one!?" The bandit leader thought, him having decided to watch from a distance.
"Is he a Magic knight as well? No, he isn't wearing a robe." The bandit leader thought, frowning slightly.
Asta dodge and block the incoming attacks of the four bandits that he is facing.
The armor-clad teen then did a wide horizontal slash with Rekka before jumping back.
"Fire Creation Magic: Flame Dragon's Fangs!" Asta exclaimed, summoning fire that took the shape of daggers in the air.
"Hah!" Asta exclaimed whilst giving Rekka a slight thrust, causing the fire daggers to be sent flying straight towards the four bandits.
All the daggers hit their marks.
"Ha! How do you like that?!" Asta shouted as the four bandits gritted their teeth in pain as they slowly stood back up.
"You want some more? Then come and get it." Asta thought before charging at the bandits.
With Blades, the swordsman of water's fighting style seems more fluid than Asta's as he fought his share of bandits.
"Why isn't the leader fighting?" Blades thought as he blocked an attack from a stone sword and took a quick glance over his shoulder.
"Does he hope to finish up off easily once we ran out of energy?" Blades questioned himself as he jumped slightly to avoid another attack.
"Hey! Eyes on your opponent!" The attacking bandit exclaimed in anger.
"Sorry." Blades said in apologetic tone of voice, making the same bandit growl in anger.
"Why you…." The bandit growled as he lifted his metal hammer.
"…That's going to leave a mark." Blades commented to himself before jumping backwards to avoid the hammer's attack, which instead made web-like cracks on the ground.
"Yes. I'm glad that I didn't let that attack hit me." Blades thought, inwardly sighing in relief.
"Now then. Whose ready to feel more of Nagare?" Blades asked, raising his sword.
After a short period of time, the nine bandits that both Asta and Blades have been fighting look tired out.
"Shall we give them the finishing blow?" Asta asked, the two swordsmen now standing next to each other.
"Yes." Blades replied before closing the "Lion Senki" Wonder-Ride book and took it out of the Seiken Sword-driver.
Knowing what Blades is doing, Asta did the same with his Wonder-Ride book.
The two swordsmen then place their Wonder-Ride books, against the slightly opened book symbol that is embedded at the tip of their swords.
Lion Senki!/Brave Dragon! Hmm hmm!
Both swords announced as fire started to surround Rekka and water started to surround Nagare.
The two swordsmen then pressed the triggers and slashed the air with their swords.
Learning flash!
The two swords announced and a arc of fire and a arc of water speed through the air and hitting the group of tired out bandits.
"Now all that is left is you." Blades said, turning his attention towards the bandit leader.
"Hah. You think that the both of you can defeat me?" The bandit leader asked with a confident smile on his face.
"Well….your plant magic is weaker against my fire magic, so its safe to say that we have the advantage." Asta pointed out, making Blades nod his head in agreement.
"You think so? Lets see about that then." The bandit leader said before activating his magic which cause a giant, monstrous plant to grow out of the ground.
"I'll deal with the bandit leader whilst you deal with the plant." Blades said before charging towards the bandit leader.
"Leave it to me." Asta said before focusing his attention towards the monstrous plant.
"Right then! Lets see how well you can handle my ma-" Asta began to say but was cut off as vines started to attack him.
"Hey! Don't interrupt people when they are still taking!" Asta shouted as he dodge the vines.
"Have it your way then." Asta thought as he landed a safe distance away before engulfing Rekka with magic infused fire.
The monstrous plant started attack with its vines again.
"Take this!" Asta shouted before swinging Rekka at the incoming vines.
Asta began to smile behind his helmet as the vines caught fire and spread towards the main part.
However, instead of going up in flames that Asta envisioned, the flames disappeared.
"What?! The plant can't catch fire?!" Asta shouted in his head before taking a deep breath.
"If that's the case. Let's just chop you down!" Asta shouted as he charged towards the monstrous plant, covering Rekka with more magic infused fire.
The monstrous plant sent out more vines that lashed out violently towards Asta.
By some luck, the wielder of Rekka managed to cut the vines down before they cam hit him.
"Right! Now for the cutting down part." Asta thought before raising Rekka and prepared to bring it down.
Suddenly, however, something grabbed Asta's left leg and pulled him up off the ground.
"What?!" Asta exclaimed before glancing "up" to see that a vine has wrapped around his leg.
The vine raised Asta until he was above the plant where four mouths opened up, revealing sharp teeth.
"That thing should check it's teeth once in a while." Asta thought as he took note of the nasty state that the plant's teeth are in.
"Now isn't the time to thinking about the plant's hygiene." Asta muttered to himself as his Grimiore opened up and started to flip through it's pages.
"Take some of this! Fire Creation Magic: Flame Dragon's Exploding Ring!" Asta announced as he raised arm and unleash a ring made of fire that cause an explosion, hitting all the heads before they could take a bite out of the wielder of Rekka.
With Blades, the wielder of Nagare is having some slight difficulties fighting against the bandit leader due to his element being weaker against the bandit leader's own.
"Hah! It looks like that the boy is having some difficulties against my monster plant!" The bandit leader said with a wide smile on his face as he block a attack from Nagare using a dagger.
"I thought that since Asta's magic was more effective against the plant, I let him deal with it. I miscalculated." Blades thought, frowning under his helmet.
"I bet that your regretting sending the boy to a early death. Even though your element is at a disadvantage, you have more experience then him." The bandit leader said before jumping back and his Grimiore opened.
"Plant Magic: Sticky Sap." The bandit leader said before slamming his hand onto the ground, causing a yellowish green substance to seep across the ground.
"Huh? What's this stuff?" Blades asked, gaining a bad feeling as he took few steps back.
"I wouldn't touch that sap if I was you. Once you make contact with it, you will be stuck fast." The bandit leader said with a smirk on his face.
"Thanks for the advice." Blades said before going into a quick sprint and then jump.
However, as Blades was halfway, a tentacle-like thing suddenly appeared out of the sap and wrapped around Blades' leg.
"What?!" Blades exclaimed as he was dragged down.
"Hahaha! Maybe I should mention the sap is "alive". Meaning if you did attempt to jump over the sap, you get trapped anyway." The Bandit leader said before laughing as Blades was forced into a kneeling position.
"And now, time to finish you off." The bandit leader said as he started to approach Blades where the tentacle-like thing has spread across his armor.
When the bandit leader is standing above Blades, he raised his arm before bringing the dagger down, preparing to strike Blades neck.
However, it was at that moment that Blades free hand, that wasn't holding onto Nagare pressed down on the right "page" of the "Lion Senki" Wonder-Ride book.
Lion Senki!
The Wonder-Ride book announced before the blue mechanical lion appeared, yet bigger than it was during Blade's transformation.
"W-what?!" The bandit leader exclaimed in shock at the blue lion's appearance.
Before the bandit leader could say or do anything else, the blue lion pounced, sending the bandit leader flying off his feet before crashing down onto the ground, getting knocked out in the process.
The blue lion then turned it's attention towards Blades before unleashing a torrent of water, washing the sap away.
"Thank you, Lion senki." Blades said as he stood up before turning towards Asta and the monstrous plant.
"Come on. We need to help him." Blades said, causing the blue mechanical lion to nod it's head.
Blades the place Nagare back into the Seiken Sword-drive before pressing the trigger.

The driver announced before Blades remove Nagare.
Unsheathe the current: Lion! Slash: Volume 1-Water!
The driver announced again before Blades swing Nagare.
"Hydro stream!" Blades announced as he released a wave of water which the blue lion joined.
When the water slash cut into the monstrous plant, the blue lion used its claws to attack the monstrous plant as well, destroying the plant completely.
"Huh?" Asta said in a confuse tone of voice, him haven't seen the incoming attack due to the monstrous plant blocking his view.
When Asta's eyes landed on the blue lion, he jumped in surprise.
"Hahaha! I'm sorry if I shock you." Blades said, whilst having a smile under his helmet, as he approach the ash-white hair armored teen.
"I-its okay. Have you finish fighting the bandit leader?" Asta asked, deciding to move onto more pressing matters.
"Yes. He's over there." Blades replied, pointing to where the still knocked out bandit leader lay.
"That's good." Asta said before the both of them started to hear clapping.
The two sword-wielders looked around to see the townspeople clapping at them.
"Heh. It looks like we did a good job protecting this town, Saber." Blades commented, making Asta nod his head before becoming confuse.
"Saber...?" Asta asked in confusion.
"Yes. That's your title. The swordsmen of flames, Kamen Rider Saber." Blades explained, making the newly christened Saber nod his head whilst having a small smile under his helmet.
Whilst Rintaro is talking with the mayor of the town, Asta was pondering.
"Who was that voice that shouted my name in my head earlier?" Asta questioned himself, referring to the scream that he heard within his head when he prevented the girl from getting sucked into the monstrous plant.
"Why do I have the feeling that voice is linked to that dream I usually have?"Asta muttered, started to frowning.
"Asta." A voice called, causing the ash-white hair teen to stop his train of thoughts and looked up to see Rintaro.
"What's happening with the bandits?" Asta asked, becoming curious.
"The mayor has placed them in the town's jail for the time being. As for us, we need to get going back on our journey." Rintaro explained, making Asta nod his head.
As the two sword-wielders started to continue their journey, neither of them are aware that they are being spied on…..ever since the start of their journey.
And there who have. I mostly based this chapter on the second episode of Kamen Rider Saber, apart from the two swordsmen not fighting the Megid. How do you guys like the way I structure the Swordsmen's names for their creation spells, them being based on the subject of their main Wonder-Ride books. Please review and until next time.

PhantomKnightPercival: If someone wrote a crossover story where Saber and the other Riders get transported into the world of Black Clover, then they would be laughed at due to having "tiny Grimoires".
TheOkWriter: You're referring to your "A.R. Ideas of Kamen Rider" story, right? I like the one-shot chapters, especially the My Hero Academia x Kamen Rider Zi-o because both Izuku and Sougo are inheritors wielding multiple powers.
