Meeting the delinquent of the Black Bulls
"Well done you three on completing that mission." Sophia said to Asta, Noelle and Rintaro.
It's now late evening and everyone is gathered in the meeting room.
"Especially you, Noelle. Managing to learn a new spell." Sophia said with a small smile on her face, turning her head towards the silver hair girl.
"Thank you." Noelle said whilst feeling proud with herself.
"So how did the Magic Knight's entrance exam go, Captain?" Tetsuo asked, becoming curious.
However, Asta, Noelle, Rintaro and Fiona have a good what their captain would say.
"Just the usual display of magic being performed to impress the other captains…apart from one participant wielding a four-leaf clover Grimoire." Sophia explained, making Tetsuo become wide eyes.
"A f-four-leaf clover Grimoire?!" Tetsuo exclaimed in a shock tone of voice, making Sophia to nod her head before noticing that the other occupants in the room didn't seemed to share the shock that Tetsuo has.
"You four didn't look shock." Sophia commented whilst becoming curious.
"Does the wielder of the four-leaf clover Grimoire have amber eyes and short black hair?" Asta asked in a "innocent" tone of voice.
Sophia blinked her eyes in confusion.
"Yes, yes he does in fact. Do you know the wielder?" Sophia asked, tilting her head to the side slightly.
"Yep. He's my brother, Yuno." Asta replied, causing both Sophia and Tetsuo to become wide-eyed.
"A-a commoner has been chosen by a four-leaf clover Grimoire?!" Tetsuo asked in a shock tone of voice.
"Well. Like me, Yuno isn't born in Hage village but raised in the orphanage, so his origin is unknown." Asta explained, making Sophia nod her head whilst gaining a thinking expression on her face.
"I guess that can be a factor. Your brother's unknown origin." Sophia muttered in a thoughtful tone of voice.
"So did Yuno got any offers to join a Magic Knight squad?" Asta asked in an excited tone of voice.
"…..Your brother got offers from all nine captain." Sophia replied and silence descended around the room.
"…..WHAT?!" Noelle, Rintaro, Tetsuo and Fiona shouted at the same time.
"B-but that's unheard off! The most offers that any Magic Knight candidate has gained is three at least." Rintaro said in a stunned tone of voice.
"Even my brother decided to offer Asta's brother a place…." Noelle thought, her eyes widened.
"So which Magic Knight squad did Yuno chose?" Asta asked, feeling more excited for his brother/rival.
"He chosen the Golden Dawn, currently the strongest Magic Knight squad." Sophia replied, making the ash-white hair teen nod his head slowly.
"Asta. Does your brother becomes negative easily?" Sophia asked, having seen Yuno's stoic expression during the entrance exam.
"No. He use to act timidly until five years ago though. Why?" Asta explained before becoming confuse.
"In the Clover Kingdom, there is a saying. "Clover leaves, each represent faith, hope and love. Within the fourth, dwells good luck. In the fifth leaf…..resides the devil." Sophia explained, making Asta becomes tense.
"The…devil?" Asta asked, making Sophia nod her head.
"If an owner of a four-leaf clover Grimoire falls into absolute despair, then their Grimoire will turn black and gain a fifth leaf, gaining the title of "Grimoire of despair". Any five-leaf clover Grimoires in existence can be taken and possessed by any devils, allowing them to manifest their true powers." Sophia explained, making Asta gulp slightly before a thought appeared in his head.
"Is a five-leaf Grimoire like the "Grimoire of the Ancients"? being able to be wielded by anyone?" Asta asked, making Sophia nod her head again.
"Yes, and unlike ordinary Grimoires, a five-leaf doesn't disintegrate upon its owner's death but go into a dormant state until a new compatible user is born and comes of age." Sophia explained, making Asta nod his head.
"How many five-leaf clover Grimoires have been found and got destroyed? Surely they are people who want five-leaf clover Grimoires wiped out." Noelle asked, she having little knowledge on the matter of five-leaf clover Grimoires, even though she's royalty.
"Not a lot, mainly because four-leaf Grimoires rarely choose a wielder. Roughly appearing after a number of generations has passed. The other reason is that wielders of five-leaf clover Grimoires tend to go into hiding." Tetsuo explained, making Noelle to nod her head, whilst feeling annoyed that the mechanic of the Sword Of Logos is avoiding eye-contact.
"Well, I think its best if we get some rest now. Most of us have a busy day today." Sophia said, making everyone nod their heads.
Its been a few days since Asta, Noelle and Rintaro fought the Ant and Grasshopper Megids.
Currently, Asta is making his way towards Liberation for training.
As the ash-white hair teen passed the door that lead into the meeting room, he notice that it was slightly open.
Sensing that there's someone behind the door, Asta walked towards the door and peered through the small opening and saw Tetsuo, who seemed to be looking at a screen.
"I know there is someone behind the door." Tetsuo suddenly said whilst still looking at the screen, making Asta jump slightly before deciding to enter the meeting room.
"M-morning, Mr Daishinji." Asta greeted in a nervous tone of voice.
"Oh. Morning, Asta." Tetsuo greeted whilst glancing up slightly before focusing his attention back onto the screen.
The ash-white hair teen stood still in silence for a few seconds before deciding to continue his walk towards Liberation.
However, before Asta could make a full turn towards the door, the ash-white hair teen notice that the mechanic seemed tense.
"…is there something wrong, Mr Daishinji? You look tense." Asta pointed out, making Tetsuo glance over his shoulder.
Asta became nervous as Tetsuo stare at him.
After a few seconds, Tetsuo let out a slight breath.
"I'm not entirely what happened, but for some reason, the sensors are picking up some strange magic signals." Tetsuo explained just as Asta approach the hexagon-shaped pedestal.
"Isn't that it's job?" Asta asked, causing Tetsuo to give the ash-white hair teen a "I know that, you idiot" look.
"The magic signals that the sensors are picking up are completely different from the magic signals that the sensors normally to pick up." Tetsuo explained, making Asta's eyes widened slightly.
"Do you think that the sensors gained a malfunction?" Asta asked, feeling slightly worried.
"That what I thought, but everything seems to be okay. I think someone decided to input new information into the sensors." Tetsuo explained, making Asta surprise before looking at the screen.
"Hm? The signal is coming from the Forsaken Realm? Are we going to search that area?" Asta asked, feeling slightly relieved that the signal isn't coming from Hage village, but somewhere close by.
"I don't see why we should ignore it, even if it could be a trap." Tetsuo replied with a frown on his face.
As this conversation continued, neither Asta or Tetsuo haven't realized that the two of them are being watched.
"So why would there be anything important in the Forsaken Realm in the first place?" Noelle asked as she, Asta and Rintaro flew through the air as they head towards the area where the mysterious signal is coming from.
Like previously, the silver hair girl is riding with Asta, something that Rintaro notice.
This cause the swordsman of water to earn a glare from Noelle before they left the base.
"Well, if you want to hide something extremely important, then the Forsaken Realm seems like a good place to keep it safe." Rintaro pointed out, making Noelle frown slightly.
"I guess that's true. The only thing that's worth talking about amongst the Nobles and Royals is the demon skull at your village, Asta….even though it's a relic of the past." Noelle said in a thoughtful tone of voice.
"Hey! As a member of Hage village, I take offense to that comment, Noelle!" Asta exclaimed, glancing over his shoulder slightly.
Noelle just shrug her shoulders in response, making Asta grit his teeth slightly as he turned his head back around.
"Gah! I made Asta angry!" Noelle exclaimed in her head, feeling frustrated with herself.
"Asta feels so warm." Noelle suddenly thought as her stiff body, due to her being anxious about the ash-white hair teen's flying skills, relaxed, feeling the warmth that is coming from Asta's body.
"….What are you doing, Noelle! This isn't how a royal should act! The warmth is due to Asta's fire magic, nothing more!" Noelle shouted in her head whilst her cheeks started to turn red, attempting to push any unwanted thoughts out of her head.
"Noelle seemed to be relaxing. She's probably thinking that my flying skills is good enough for me to carry someone else safely." Asta thought, feeling Noelle's muscles in her arms relaxing.
"Okay, you two. We're almost at the area where the mysterious magic signal is coming from. We better land and go on foot from here." Rintaro explained whilst holding the small radar-like device in one of his hands.
This cause Asta to nod his head whilst snapping Noelle out her relaxing thoughts.
The three Magic Knights, more specifically Asta and Rintaro, landed in a clearing within a forest area and climbed off their brooms.
"We leave our brooms here and have a good search of the area. Hopefully we can the source of the magic signal." Rintaro explained, making Asta and Noelle nod their heads before starting to walk in a direction.
"Hey!" A voice suddenly shouted, causing the three Sword Of Logos members to stop before looking up to see a person riding a broom landing close to them.
"Er…..Yes?" Rintaro asked in a confuse tone of voice as the person, who is a male with mostly grey hair, which include a black Mohawk, and having blue shades covering his eyes.
The three Sword Of Logos members notice that he's wearing a robe like them, but black with gold lining with a emblem of a bull, done in gold lining as well.
"He's a Magic Knight as well?" Asta thought, raising a eye-brow.
"What are you doing near Sosshi village? Going to flaunt your authority over the villagers, huh?!" The unknown Magic Knight demanded with a angry expression on his face.
Rintaro was about to reply but Noelle beat him to it.
"Why should we tell you what we're doing here, Black Bull." Noelle replied in a arrogant tone of voice.
"What did you say?!" The unknown Magic Knight shouted in anger.
"Now, now. We can explain ourselves!" Rintaro quickly said, attempting to cool down the situation.
"The Black Bulls?" Asta asked Noelle with a perplexed expression on his face.
"Really? You don't know? The Black Bulls is one of the ten Magic Knight squads….the lowest ranking squad who is well known for being the most destructive squad whose results on missions lead to more harm than good." Noelle explained, causing Asta to nod his head slowly.
"It also would have been the Magic Knight squad that I would end up in if it wasn't for her." Noelle added to herself.
"So they're basically the "black sheep" of the Magic Knight squads." Asta commented, causing Noelle to stare at the ash-white hair teen for a few seconds before starting to giggle.
"Hehehe. The "black sheep" of the Magic Knights….." Noelle managed to say before covering her mouth, trying to stop herself from laughing.
With Rintaro, the swordsman of water is explaining to the Black Bull Magic Knight.
"Back at our headquarters, we detected a unknown magic signal in this area. So the three of us have been sent out to investigate." Rintaro explained, trying to make sure not to make the Black Bull Magic Knight more angry.
The Black Bull Magic Knight blinked his eyes in confusion.
"A unknown magic signal? There's nothing much here other than Sosshi village." The Black Bull Magic Knight said, all of his anger disappearing.
"Well, its better to search rather than ignore it. My name is Rintaro Shindo and the other two are Asta and Noelle Silva." Rintaro introduce himself and the other two to the Black Bull Magic Knight.
"I guess that makes sense. My name is Magna Swing, proud member of the Black Bulls….Did you say Silva?!" The now known Magna exclaimed in a shock tone of voice as his eyes fell on Noelle.
"That's right. I'm from the royal house of Silva. So you have no right in objecting to our request." Noelle explained in a high-mighty tone of voice.
This cause Magna to growl slightly.
"Don't worry about Noelle. She can hard to handle at times, but she's friendly." Rintaro said, trying to calm Magna down.
"There's absolutely no way I'm becoming friendly with a insect from the Black Bulls." Noelle said in a blank tone of voice, making Magna more angry whilst Rintaro sighed.
It was then that Magna had a proper look at the three sword-bearers' robes.
"Hey. You three are from the Sword Of Logos, right? That mysterious Magic Knight squad." Magna asked, causing the three sword bearers to nod their heads.
"Hehehe. This might actually be fun. I always wanted to see what that Magic Knight squad is like." Magna said with a grin on his face.
"Like in a million years we tell a lowly delinquent like you how we operate." Noelle said in the still blank tone of voice.
"L-lowly delinquent?! Your looking at the proud creator and owner of Crazy Cyclone!" Magna exclaimed pointing to his broom.
The three sword bearers have a proper look at Magna's broom and saw its heavily modified, including a saddle and a bull's skull.
"Well…..its/Lame!" Noelle shouted, cutting off Rintaro.
"What did you say, Silva girl?!" Magna exclaimed in a anger.
"I said it's LAME!" Noelle repeated herself, but much more loudly.
"And there goes all my effort of trying to defuse the angry." Rintaro thought whilst sweat dropping.
"Why don't we walked to Sosshi village so that we can start our investigation!" Asta suddenly said before grabbing Magna by the shoulders and started to push him in the direction of Sosshi village.
"That's right, Asta. Push the lowly insect about." Noelle said with a evil smirk on her face.
"Maybe I should keep a close eye on Noelle. She seems to be a bad influence over Asta." Rintaro thought, becoming worried.
As the four Magic Knights walked towards Sosshi village, Magna explained how he and Yami Sukehiro, the captain of the Black Bulls, lost a bet with someone from the village and now had to do the request of boar hunting.
This cause both Asta and Noelle confuse as to why the village need a Magic Knight to go boar hunting for them.
Luckily, Rintaro explained how it is most likely that Magna is referring to magic boars that are able to produce fire.
After a few minutes of walking, the four Magic Knights exited the forest and saw a village on top of a large separate piece of land, being connected by a stone bridge that's splits into two pathways.
"Here we are, Sosshi village!" Magna announced, whilst bowing and having his arms wide open.
"Its quite isolated from the rest of the land." Asta commented in a curious tone of voice whilst tilting his head to the side.
"Heh. You don't have to worry about the location of the village, it has good people. Do you want to visit Sosshi?" Magna asked with a wide smile on his face.
"Er…thanks for the offer, but we do have a mission to complete." Noelle denied politely.
"On the contrary, the magic signal is coming from Sosshi village." Rintaro said whilst holding up the radar-like device, making the other three Magic Knights become shock.
"Really!?" Asta exclaimed in shock tone of voice as he looked at the screen of the device which shows a strong reading directly towards the village.
"I guess that's settle it. I'm giving you a tour of Sosshi village." Magna said with a wide grin on his face.
However, it was at that moment that a thick fog suddenly appeared around the village.
"Hm? Is someone practicing magic?" Rintaro asked in a curious tone of voice whilst becoming surprise that someone from the Forsaken Realm can do magic on that scale.
However, Magna has a frown on his face.
"No. There's nobody in the village that can use magic like that." Magna replied whilst gaining a bad feeling before running towards the village.
The three remaining Magic Knights glanced at each other.
"Come on. We better help him." Rintaro said whilst taking out his Seiken Sword-driver from his Grimoire.
Asta did the same whilst Noelle retrieved her sword before the three of them chase after Magna.
"Man this fog is thick." Magna thought as he stopped in front of Sosshi village, seeing how he can't see any of the buildings within the outer walls.
"And…..its cold? Must be the work of ice magic or something similar." Magna thought before hearing footsteps behind him, causing the Black Bull Magic Knight to glance over his shoulder to see the three members of the Sword Of Logos approaching him.
"Huh? You want to help?" Magna asked whilst raising an eye-brow.
"Of course. Its a Magic Knight's duty to protect the safety of the Clover Kingdom." Rintaro replied with a small smile on his face, making Magna to nod his head.
"Thanks. So what type of magic you guys wield?" Magna asked, becoming serious.
"Noelle and I both wield water magic whilst Asta wield fire magic. You?" Rintaro explained before asking, making Magna smirk.
"I wield fire magic as well." Magna replied, making Asta's eyes widened in surprise.
"Really?!" The ash-white hair teen exclaimed, making Magna raise his hand and igniting it, letting flames dance around his hand in response.
"Four Magic Knights, but only two types of magic. Not a lot of options." Noelle muttered with a slight frown on her face.
"At least you three wield swords…even though two of them look more like kitchen-knives." Magna pointed out, referring to Rekka and Nagare which are still in the Seiken Sword-drivers.
The comment cause Asta and Rintaro to gain a small tick-mark on their foreheads whilst Noelle mentally snorted.
"Hey! Don't make fun of our swords! You didn't like it when Noelle called Crazy Cyclone lame." Asta pointed out, causing Magna froze.
"I….I…lets just go!" Magna shouted before heading into the fog before disappearing a few seconds later.
Asta gain a victories smirk on his face before he and the other two member of the Sword Of Logos headed into the fog as well.
The four Magic Knights slowly made their ways through the thick fog, relaying on Magna's familiarity with the layout of Sosshi village.
"We're almost close to the center of the village." Magna explained as he peered through the fog.
"It got a lot colder as well." Noelle commented, feeling her skin becoming cold.
"Do you want me to warm you up?" Asta asked, glancing over his shoulder.
"N-no! I'm just commenting on the temperature. I'm not cold myself!" Noelle exclaimed, her cheeks turning in red.
"Okay." Asta said, turning his head back round.
"…..Maybe Asta's idea would have be okay if the others weren't here." Noelle thought, turning her head to the side slightly.
It was just then that the radar-like device in Rintaro's hand vibrated suddenly.
"Hm? We're getting close to the source of the magic signal." Rintaro explained, making the others nod their heads…yet for some reason gain a strange feeling that wasn't caused by the fog's temperature.
After a few, the street that the four Magic Knights are walking down suddenly open up.
"Here we are, the center of Sosshi village-huh?" Magna said before gaining a confuse expression on his face as he and the other Magic Knights saw the villagers huddled all together.
The four Magic Knights then glance upwards and their eyes widened as they saw multiple spikes made out of ice floating above them.
"Kill them." A voice said and the floating ice spikes started to ran down on the villagers, making them cry out in fear.
"Fire Magic: Exploding Buckshot!" Magna shouted as he release multiple fireballs towards the ice spikes, causing a chain reaction of explosions to occur.
"Huh?" A village ask in a shock tone of voice as he and the rest of the villagers turn their heads towards the four Magic Knights.
"Did….." A second villager began to say.
"We're….." A third villager began to say as well.
"Magic Knights have come to rescue us!" A fourth villager shouted in a relieve tone of voice.
"What's going on here?!" Magna shouted in anger before something caught his attention.
"Your prayers were heard, Pops…" A boy said in a low tone voice to a body of a old man that didn't seem to be moving.
"H-hey! You can't be….." Magna began to say, knowing who the person is.
"A person's life was taken…..so easily." A voice spoke, causing Magna to turn his head towards the direction of the voice to see a man with short, grey hair and wearing a pale blue jacket, white trousers and black boots.
He's currently sitting down whilst three cloaked men stood behind him.
"I can't believe you gave them more time. In three seconds, they're all be executed." The man said before creating a huge shard of ice and sent it flying forwards.
"I melt that ice into water!" Magna shouted before throwing more fire balls but this time joined by Saber.
"HAH!" Saber exclaimed as he swing Rekka.
The combine attack cause the giant shard of ice to shatter.
Saber glance over his should and saw the terrifying expressions on the villagers faces.
This cause the swordsman of flames to become angry.
"You'll pay for that!" Saber shouted in anger. However, the man remained silent with a emotionless expression on his face.
"Who are these people? Are they spies from another or normal thieves?" Blades questioned himself, looking at each of the four people in turn.
"I got no word that Magic Knights would be coming." Hooded mage one said in a confuse tone of voice.
"Then it must be an unsanctioned expedition on their part." Hooded mage two commented with a frown.
The pale skin man paid no interest to he conversation as he stared at the Magic Knights in front of him.
"The Black Bulls. Among the Magic Knights, they're known as bunch of delinquents that do whatever they want." The pale skin man commented before turning his attention towards the emblem on Noelle's robes.
"And the Sword Of Logos, the most mysterious squad who mostly work independently from the rest of the Magic Knights. I wonder why you came all the way out here….." The pale skin man questioned just as an idea formed in his head.
The pale skin man then looked down at the stop-watch that is currently in his hand.
"Five minutes. In five minute times I'll wipe out this useless village before continuing with my search." The pale skin man said in a emotionless tone of voice.
"Like hell we let you kill anyone else!" Saber shouted before lunging forwards with a fire covered Rekka at the ready.
However, before Saber could reach the pale skin man, something came rushing out of the fog towards the swordsman of flames.
And there we have it, I'm leaving this chapter on a cliffhanger. I hope you like the Sword Of Logos encountering a member of the Black Bulls, in response for those we were wondering if the Black Bulls will make a appearance in the story. In the recent episode of Kamen Rider Saber, we found out that there are eleven Holy Swords in total, meaning there will be three more Kamen Riders will appear in the show. However, I suspect that one of them will be Kamen Rider Falchion because I did hear someone saying that there is a rumor that the movie Rider will appear in the main show. So I'm looking forward to what the other two cannon Kamen Riders will be, hopefully one of them will be female whose identity is a older Luna. I wonder if a new Kamen Rider Calibur and a new Kamen Rider Espada will appear in the show.
We also got news about Saber's super form, Primitive Dragon, and Saikou's power-up form, X Swordsman. For Saber's new form, it looks cool with the stark contrast with the colouring, from red to light blue. For Saikou's power-up form, or more specifically his shadow's power-up form, its interesting how he using the buckle that normally holds the sword of light. Its strange how its the latest Kamen Rider that gains a power-up form rather than Buster, Kenzan or Slash receiving one first.

Phantom Thief Of Hearts: 1) I got the idea about the mass-produce Holy Sword from Garo, since there are armors with titles attached to them whilst there are mass-produced versions as well.

3) The grasshopper Megid isn't technically flying, but rather kicking the air.
4) Don't worry, Noelle will receive new original spells in the future. Now that I think about it, "vision" isn't the correct word to use, but I can work around that.
5) Yep, poor Rintaro.
6) I attempt to include more official Wonder-Ride books.
7) I will attempt to spread out the appearance of Wonder-Ride books, even though I can't guarantee it, throughout the story and I think about alternate forms.
8) I think it will be the Megid generals or Desast who will likely tell Noelle that...and prepare to run VERY fast.
9) I like your ideas for Bacht/Kamen Rider Falchion, but I'll wait until the movie to see his exact history first. Yes, I think the first idea is will make more sense, but I'm going to use the second idea for a risky move...
10) Don't worry, I have plans set.
11) I'm sorry if your wish didn't came true but in my mind, Sophia will partially be hidden in shadow so that the examinees will know that she's there, but won't have a clear view of her Magic Knight robe. You'll find out in a later chapter what some of the Magic Knight's opinion about the Sword Of Logo are. For Noelle joining the Sword Of Logos...I leave small/subtle snippets before telling the full story, along with some small changes to Noelle's past.
12) A candy-based Megid or a Gingerbread Megid...lets just hope that they NEVER encounter Charmy.
