Revolting Raccoons: Fernando, Butch, Lin, Lucille, David, Ilyria, Eddy, Byron, Brittany, Juliette, and Dante

Oblivious Owls: Lila, Tracy, Trish, Christopher, Spikke, Brad, Dianne, Matthew, Mackenzie, and Tatiana

"Last time on Total Drama Canadian Travels…" Chris began the famous recap, as he stood with Alexis, Jenny, and Chef Hatchet.

"We traveled to Niagara Falls where I got to be in a photoshoot!"

"Typical Chris," Alexis grumbled. "The teams got to compete in a talent show, and while it was a close battle, it was the Raccoons who waltzed away with the victory, and the Owls had to say goodbye to Shauna. Now they have to deal with an angry Greek."

"It was nice to see my hubby again!" Jenny sighed. "But now with the Owls down another member and tensions high, what is in store for them next?"

"Yada-yada-yada, I'd hate to be in their shoes," Chef grumbled. "But 21 remain. Who'll go home next? Find out, on Total! Drama! Canadian Travels!"

"Hey, you stole my line!" Chris whined.

"Don't make me tell the viewing world the name of your teddy bear again!" Alexis said in a sing-song voice.

"Okay, okay, fine, you can have my line," the host grumbled.

Dear Mom and Dad I'm doing fine,

You guys are on my mind.

You asked me what I wanted to be

and now I think the answer is plain to see,

I wanna be famous.

I wanna live close to the sun,

Go pack your bags, 'cause I've already won,

Everything to prove, nothing in my way

I'll get there one day.

Cause, I wanna be famous!

Na na na na na na na na na na na na na na na!

I wanna be, I wanna be, I wanna be famous

Na na na na na na na na na na na na na na na! (as can be heard in the background)

I wanna be, I wanna be, I wanna be famous

(Whistling in tune)

Episode 5: One Fish, Two Fish, I Fish, You Fish!

Niagara Falls, Ontario

An angry Spikke would be sitting in the lobby of the Fallsview Casino, just after the elimination. Ilyria, despite being on the other team, noticed him. "Are you okay?"

"No, I'm not okay! My team voted off Shauna!" Spikke let out.

"Ooh, I'm sorry," Ilyria frowned.

"They think that we're both a threat," the rapper sighed.

"Is there anything I can do to make you feel better?" the spy asked.

"Yes. Tell them to not piss me off," Spikke glared, as he would walk away.

*Confessional*

Ilyria: "I really feel bad for Spikke, even though he is on the other team, and we didn't talk much during last season; since we were on separate teams; and he got out early. There has to be something we can do to brighten up his mood."

*End Confessional*

Ilyria would go back over to her team. "Guys, we need to try and help Spikke. I know he's on the opposing team right now, but he's pretty upset with his team."

"Why?" Lucille asked.

"They eliminated Shauna."

"No!" Brittany was wide-eyed. "I can't believe them!"

"Yeah, I know," the spy sighed.

"Eh, I'm iffy on helping out someone not on our team." Butch shrugged. "But we've got history so what the heck, I'm in."

"Great, let's brainstorm," Ilyria smiled at her ex. "I think we can all go ask Alexis if we can help her whip up a Greek meal to cheer up Spikke."

"Shauna's Afro-Latin, so maybe you can add some Caribbean spice to add some flair." Lin suggested.

"Sounds good," Ilyria nodded. The group would head down to Alexis, and she was willing to help with the plan.

Later that night, they would go over to Spikke, presenting the meal to him. It included souvlaki, roasted eggplant, Greek Salad, and some Callaloo.

"Alexis helped us," Ilyria said.

"Guys, you are amazing," Spikke let out. "Thank you."

"Anything for an alumni," Brittany gave a friendly smirk. "Let's dig in."

Unknown to them, they were being watched by the trio of Brad, Tatiana and Lila, who began heading back to the upper floors.

"Did… we do the right thing?" Lila asked. "I mean, I know it has to happen eventually but… I feel bad."

"Nobody said this was going to be easy." Brad began. "Believe me, I'd rather not put the others in a situation where they feel hurt. But you need to understand that this is what we have to do. Besides, none of them felt guilty about hurting your feelings, did they?"

"I guess you're right…" Lila sighed.

The next day…

"We're heading to British Columbia!" Chris announced gleefully. "We'll explain the challenge once we get there!"

"That sounds like fun! I wonder what it'll be?" Juliette looked at her team. "Maybe going up a mountain? What do you think, Lin?"

"I'm just thankful we didn't have to wake up super early again. I may be able to run on little sleep, but I like it just as much as the next person."

"I get it," Juliette frowned. "But luckily, I've got some makeup to help me hide the bags under my eyes when we do have to get up early. A girl's gotta be prepared for anything."

"She's prepared for sure," Ilyria grinned over at her ex. "Quite interesting, hm?"

"Ilyria, come on," Lucille sighed. "Don't tease him."

"What? I'm trying to have some fun with him," Ilyria let out.

"I mean, I am attractive," Juliette giggled, winking at Butch, who raised his eyebrows in intrigue.

Lucille playfully rolled her eyes, looking over at Dante. "How are things with Abigail? Are they well?"

"Yeah, they're going great! She's been helping me keep 'you-know-who' under control and reminding me to take my medication." Dante explained, gently knocking on his noggin. "There are times where I do think I see or hear him, but as long as I take the meds, things will be alright."

"Oh, what a relief," Lucille let out. "I really hope he doesn't show up again." She shivered a little. "I'm still thinking about when Demetrius tried taking over the show. That wasn't fun."

"Don't mention that name again!" Butch hissed. "I still need to pay him back for brainwashing me!"

"You weren't the only one he brainwashed," Ilyria said dryly. "He got to Walter first, remember?"

"Yeah, and he was acting all odd when he first left the competition," Brittany crossed her arms. "Like, he wasn't himself."

"You were really good with that gun, Brittany," the spy let out.

"Um, hello, mob boss?" Brittany scoffed. "But thanks, Agent Song. You didn't do too badly yourself."

"David, what else has Joseph told you about the previous season?" Lucille looked over at the photographer.

"Aside from it being a stepping stone to greatness?" He chuckled. "He did say he was impressed with a lot of you, especially during that takeover! That and the season was a tough mental game, but not too difficult physically, but I think he was bluffing a bit there."

"That's Joseph," Lucille smiled. "I'm really glad that you and I became friends when he first introduced me to you at one of the family gatherings."

"Okay, that's nice and all," Byron began, "But we should start packing up so we can get to the airport."

"You're right," Lucille said. "Let's go, and meet up in the lobby again."

*Confessionals*

Lin: "As nice as it is to reminisce on the last season, there's some stuff I would rather forget about, too…"

*static*

Butch: "There were definitely some fun times last year, too bad I wasn't exactly there to remember them!"

*static*

Dante: "Damiano was in control for a lot of the last season, now that's he's under control, maybe I can make some of my own memories!"

*static*

Brittany: "It was good bringing up old memories."

*static*

Ilyria: "I really wished that all of us alumni were on one team. It would have been easier going up against the newbies."

*End Confessionals*

At the airport…

Alexis would take out the show's credit card, buying all the plane tickets to British Columbia. "First class for everyone, as usual, and as promised." She announced, giving Chris a nasty side-eye.

"Thank you, Alexis!" Lucille let out. "It's wonderful that you're involved with the show."

"Yeah, at least someone is looking out for us." Eddy added.

"Don't rub it in," Chris grumbled.

"She's better than you are, no offense," Brittany smirked at the host.

"Eh, not really, I think Brittany and I can both agree that we really mean full offense on that one." Lin shrugged.

"You know what? You're right," Brittany smirked playfully at the short girl.

"When's our flight?" Juliette asked.

"In two hours," Alexis replied.

"Huh, not bad," Ilyria let out. "It's 8:30. So that means we're gonna be boarding in about an hour and a half?"

"Yes," Alexis nodded. "Let's sit down."

"Well, in the meantime, I'll be calling my hubby, so give me a bit." Jenny said with a wink.

Alexis laughed a bit. "In the meantime, just relax and wait, everyone."

Dianne would take a seat next to Trish. "So, what do you think the next challenge will involve?"

"Hmm, not sure. As long as it doesn't involve getting any dirt on me, it would be fine with me!"

"Of course, daddy's girl can't stand dirt," Brittany scoffed. "You should at least try to get your hands dirty, for once."

"Brittany!" Lucille let out.

"What? It's the truth," the mob boss let out.

"Apologize," Lucille crossed her arms.

"Fine, fine, I apologize," Brittany rolled her eyes.

"I mean, she's not wrong. Dirt and sweat is just, bleh! It gives me the ick!"

"You do realize that you have to get over your fear one day," Ilyria said. "I mean, you weren't in the Fear Factor challenge, but it might happen soon."

"It's not a fear so much as it's disgust." Trish huffed.

"Try being tied up over a volcano that's about to erupt. That was horrifying," Ilyria shivered.

"Now boarding, Flight 57234 from Toronto, Ontario, to Vancouver, British Columbia," a flight attendant announced on the loudspeaker.

"It's about damn time!" Brittany let out. "Let's roll. Who's sitting with who?"

Juliette checked her ticket. "I'm sitting with Dante, and Trish."

"Butch, I guess you're sitting with me and Brittany," Lucille let out, smiling at the brute.

"Cool." Butch shrugged.

"We're sitting together," Ilyria grinned at Lin. "Apparently, we're also sitting with Fernando."

"Oh cool, you're sitting with the YouTube twins," Byron looked over at David. "Have fun. I'm stuck with Brad and Tatiana. Ugh, it's gonna be a long flight."

"Good luck with that." David replied. "Something about those two seems… odd to me, but I can't explain what."

"I'm jealous already," the blogger pouted. "I wish we could swap seats."

"Oof, I don't know about that one." David chuckled nervously. "I'd rather not be with those two, them being so serious sort of freaks me out."

"I guess I'll see you on the other side then," Byron winked a little, before boarding the plane.

"You like him," Mackenzie and her brother would go up to the photographer. "It's pretty obvious to us."

"Well he's definitely cute, but I was definitely caught off guard with how forward he was before." David admitted.

"I don't think he's ever had a serious relationship before. You know, considering who he's related to. She might have ruined most of his relationships," Matthew sighed. "Thinking that every guy she tries to date is Cody. It's super crazy."

"But anyway, have you ever had a relationship before?" Mackenzie looked at the photographer.

"I've had a couple flings with a few girls and guys before but they never really lasted." David shrugged.

"That's horrible," Mackenzie frowned. "I'm so sorry, David."

"Nah, don't be. We're young, now's the time for us to explore and find out who we are!"

"That's true," Matthew nodded. "If I'm being honest, I have the hots for Alexis. That's mainly the reason why I applied. Of course, winning the show would be amazing, but I want to try and win her heart."

"That's sweet, bro," Mackenzie playfully messed with his hair.

"Hey!" Matthew let out, a bit annoyed.

Meanwhile, Byron would be stuck in between Brad and Tatiana, the silence between the three quickly becoming awkward for him. "This shouldn't be so bad…" he gulped. "I hope…"

*Confessionals*

Byron: "I wonder how David's doing sitting with the twins."

*static*

Brad: "Byron's not on our team, so for now he's a non-factor to the plan."

*static*

Tatiana: "Seems that this is going to be a quiet ride. Fine by me, I had some reading I wanted to catch up on."

*static*

David: "Those twins aren't so bad, I wonder if they'd need any thumbnails for their videos."

*End Confessionals*

A couple of hours later…

Vancouver, British Columbia

At the lake…

"Welcome to Vancouver!" Chris announced. "There's no time to unpack, so we'll be leaving our stuff on the coach bus, while we go on to the next challenge!"

"Which is gonna involve some fishing!" Alexis cheered. "Your goal is to catch as many fish as possible, and each fish is worth a different amount of points. Uncle, would you care to tell them the point values?"

"The points you earn are dependent on the color of the fish. Red ones are worth one point, blue ones are worth two, and green ones are three. There's also black and white fish that are both worth five points each. The fish that are worth more are also more rare. You've got two hours to catch as many as you can. Whoever's got more points wins."

"Of course, Chris wanted to make sure this challenge wasn't too simple or boring." Jenny added. "So there's also a bunch of junk and other stuff down there that's not worth anything and is only there to waste your time."

"Typical," Brittany grumbled.

"ANNNNNNDDDDDD GO!" Chris blew an air horn to signify the start of the challenge.

"SHUT UP, YOU OBNOXIOUS MAN!" a random fisherman yelled at the host. "YOU ARE SCARING THE FISH AWAY!"

The two teams would be greeted by two large buckets with their team's logo on it, along with a bunch of fishing rods.

"Well, at least it won't be one person at a time," Juliette let out, passing a fishing rod to each of her teammates. "Let's win this challenge!"

"This is actually…relaxing," the mob boss let out, as she casted her line into the water, after putting a worm onto the hook.

Lucille would reel in a green fish. "Got one!"

"Nice one, we've got three points!" Brittany smirked. Eddy was suddenly bolted out of the silent boredom he was experiencing when he suddenly had a very forceful tug on his fishing line.

"Ooh baby I got something!" He exclaimed as he began reeling it in. Whatever he had on the other end proved to be a fighter as he felt the force opposing him wishing to remain in the water.

"You've got this, Eddy!" Lucille cheered. "Reel in that fish!"

"Oh man, he's a fighter!" The short boy growled. Lin rushed to her feet and towards Eddy, grabbing him from behind and helping him pull at the beast below, causing Dianne to purse her lips as her eyes narrowed at the shorter girl. Ilyria would also rush over to help her teammate. "On three. One, two, THREE!"

With one last pull, the three managed to reel in the catch to the surface, revealing it to be…

A snowglobe with a crudely made clay statue of what appeared to be a familiar rainbow-haired individual. The globe had a note attached to it on the bottom that read 'Ya dun goofed ~Terra P.S.: Git Gud + Skill Issue + Ratio :)'

Ilyria's eye twitched. "You have got to be kidding me. What the hell is that supposed to mean?!"

"With how long we've known her, I think you should know by now to never question Terra and save yourself the headache." Lin sighed.

"Eddy, are you okay?" Ilyria looked at their teammate, who looked to be on the verge of exploding in sheer fury as his face was cherry red. In one swift motion, the boy snatched up the trinket and slammed it onto the floor before stomping on it repeatedly.

"O…kay…he's not okay…" Ilyria sighed.

"I don't blame him." Butch shrugged as he pulled up another red fish. "I'd react the same way if I put in that much work for nothing."

"Hey, Fernando, are you having any luck?" Juliette asked, as she managed to catch a blue fish.

"Nothing so far. But I read that fishing is a waiting game so I suppose all I can do is just that."

His fishing rod would soon feel a tug.

"Oh, you got something!" Byron let out, recoiling in disgust as he managed to reel in a stinky sandwich.

"Ah, lovely…" The model grumbled.

"Ew," Juliette deadpanned.

"I'm surprised none of the fish ate that by now." Dante hummed.

"Me too," Ilyria huffed. She got a tug on her fishing rod, and would reel in a baseball cap. Her eye twitched in anger.

From the Owls' side, Lila flinched for a moment as she felt that she had gotten a bite. It took a bit of work, but she was ultimately able to reel in a white fish.

"Awesome!" Mackenzie let out. She managed to reel in a stuffed turtle. "Oh come on!"

"I'm not having any luck either," Matthew grumbled, as he managed to reel in a stuffed orca. "This stinks."

"Oh, wait, wait!" Tracy called out as she easily reeled in a rather large green fish. "Heck yeah!"

Dianne would manage to reel in a wooden statue of Joseph, holding a wooden briefcase. "Huh. This is accurate. I think. What's this supposed to mean?"

"No idea," Christopher shrugged, reeling in a large blue fish. "Honestly, it would have made more sense to award points based on the weight of the fish."

"I mean that makes sense, but considering the show we're on…" Tatiana noted.

"Right," the magician deadpanned.

"Let's try to keep positive," Dianne put the statue down, and would reel in a tiny red fish. "Well, it's still a fish, at least."

Spikke would grumble as he reeled in a toy frog wearing a top hat, and carrying a tap dancing pole. "What. The. Freak."

The toy frog would suddenly turn on.

"Hello my baby,

Hello my Honey, hello my ragtime gal!

Send me a kiss by wire, baby my heart's on fire!

If you refuse me, honey you'll lose me, then you'll be left alone, oh baby

Telephone and tell me I'm your own!"

Spikke's eye twitched. "You have got to be kidding me."

"Somehow I feel like this is where this show's budget goes to." Brad sighed, shaking his head. He would manage to reel in another toy frog, which looked exactly like the one Spikke had.

"Please don't tell me it's gonna sing…" Dianne begged.

But sadly, the toy frog would sing.

"Hello my baby,

Hello my Honey, hello my ragtime gal!

Send me a kiss by wire, baby my heart's on fire!

If you refuse me, honey you'll lose me, then you'll be left alone, oh baby

Telephone and tell me I'm your own!"

The singing quickly caught the attention of the entire cast as they watched on with mixed reactions.

"What the bloody hell?" Ilyria let out.

Byron blinked in confusion. "Huh?" He managed to reel in a snake, causing him to drop it in shock.

The two frogs would then sing their song again in unison. Spikke literally hurled the toy frog back into the water with a glare. "I hate McLean."

The first hour was just about over with the Owls just barely ahead by one point with a score of 26.

"We need to catch up!" Brittany let out. "If we can catch a lot of those black and white fish, we'll pull ahead!"

"Any luck, Dante?" Byron asked. "We need the points."

"I don't think there's really all that many black or white fish. Chef did say they were rare. But I haven't caught anything yet."

"We need something," Brittany rubbed her temples. "If we get another singing frog toy, I will lose my marbles."

Thankfully for the Raccoons score and Brittany's sanity, Lin managed to fish up a blue fish just as she finished her statement.

"Thank god," Brittany let out. "Thank you, Lin."

"You're welcome." The stealth operative shrugged.

Time continued to pass and soon enough, the second hour was nearly up. "How many points do we have?" Lucille asked, as she managed to reel in a large red fish.

Just like Eddy and Tracy before her, Trish was caught off guard by a sudden hefty pull at her fishing line.

"Ah, I got something good!" The posh girl announced. Tracy quickly hurried over to her as she noticed Trish struggling to pull the catch up. The two girls grabbed the fishing pole and heaved with all their might. The water's surface began to ripple as a wave splashed onto the edge of the dock from the force.

"Come on, Trish!" Dianne begged.

The two girls gave one last pull with all their force, the water splashed upwards as a large shadow leaped into the air above them. Time almost seemed to slow down for everyone as they watched the shadow completely envelop the two girls until….

SPLASH!

The two were completely covered in mud and undersea muck.

"WHAT WAS THAT?!" Dianne screamed.

The two girls tried clearing the scum away from their face and eyes. Once Trish got enough of it off of her and she looked down at her hands and clothes, her face went pale as a look of utter horror grew on her face.

"Uh-oh…" Butch said as everyone remained silent. "HIT THE DECK!" He shouted before Trish let out an ear-splitting scream and began to run around, trying desperately to get the mud off of her.

Brittany winced. "Yeouch. That girl can scream."

Tracy, however, looked much more calm as she splashed some of the water onto herself to clean up.

"Time's up!" Chris announced gleefully, right as Byron managed to fish up one last green fish. "Let's see who won!"

Alexis and Jenny would count the fish in the Raccoons bucket first.

"The Owls have a total score of…. 40!" Jenny announced.

"And the Raccoons have…42 points! They win!" Alexis announced.

"Yes!" Brittany cheered.

"Sorry, Owls, looks like you're going to the elimination ceremony. AGAIN." Chris grinned. "Go wash up, and meet back here in an hour."

Oblivious Owls

"I hate to say it, but I think we need to send Trish home," Spikke groaned.

"Oh, for what reason?" Tatiana asked in intrigue.

"Who knows what kind of challenges we'll face next? They'll be dirty, and grimy, and she can't handle it," Spikke deadpanned. "Which is why she has to go."

"Well, I hate to say it, especially since she's been so nice and helpful to me…" Tracy sighed. "But I think you're right."

Dianne frowned. "Yeah, I suppose we can vote for her."

The twins would nod.

"So, we're in agreement then?" Spikke asked.

"Oh, Owls, it's time to vote!" Chris announced gleefully.

Elimination Ceremony (Oblivious Owls)

"Welcome, Owls. Today's immunity symbol is a keychain with the flag of British Columbia. Go and vote," Chris announced as they would sit down.

*Voting Confessionals* (Oblivious Owls)

Spikke: "Sorry, Trish, you're getting my vote."

*static*

Dianne: "I have to vote for Spikke. He was really angry at us yesterday. Who knows what problems they'll cause for us in the future?"

*static*

Matthew: "Bye, Trish."

*static*

Mackenzie: "Sorry, Trish, I have to send you home."

*static*

Christopher: "Ugh, this is hard. I don't want to vote off my best friend…but I guess I have to. I'm so sorry, Spikke."

*static*

Tracy: "I really don't like doing this but, maybe I should vote for Trish… No… No, I can't! Maybe Spikke's better at challenges, but I can't just turn on my friend! I'm voting for Spikke!"

*static*

Lila: "I'm ever-so sorry, Trish, but I have to vote for you!"

*static*

Tatiana: "Trish is the only logical choice here. Spikke may be more aggressive towards everyone right now, but he's more useful."

*static*

Brad: "It's gotta be Trish, what more can I say?"

*static*

Trish: "I really messed up today, but can you blame me? My suit is ruined! Ugh, anyway, I guess I vote for Spikke…"

*End Voting Confessionals*

"The following players are safe. Lila!" Chris announced, tossing the girl the first keychain. "Tatiana! Brad! Tracy! Christopher! Matthew! Mackenzie! Dianne!"

Spikke looked shocked, as he looked over at Trish. "Oh, crap… we're the bottom two."

The posh princess grimaced, in a way she had seen this coming, but it still stung her all the same.

"Trish and Spikke. You're our bottom two today. Trish, your reaction earlier may have ticked your team off. And Spikke, I think some of your teammates are afraid that your anger issues from your girlfriend's elimination may continue if you're still around. But! The last person safe is…

…Spikke!"

The rapper would turn to Trish, giving her a hug. "Sorry it had to end this way."

"Well, it's not all bad. I mean, it was still fun for what it was." Trish sighed. "Good luck everyone! I'll be sure to give you all some free samples of my company's merchandise and products!" Trish winked.

"I don't think neon purple's my color." Brad commented.

"Trish, grab your stuff from the coach bus, and board the Bus of Losers," Chris instructed. "The rest of you, you're dismissed."

Dianne and Eddy

Dianne huffed as she would leave the elimination area with her team. "This stinks."

"Nice to see you, too." Eddy said, raising an eyebrow.

"I didn't mean you," Dianne sighed. "We just sent Trish home."

"Bummer, she seemed nice." The short boy shrugged. "Glad to see you're still here though."

"Why?" Dianne felt her cheeks heat up a bit. "Would you be upset if I left?"

"Well, you're one of the few people here I talk to and get along with." Eddy admitted, rubbing the back of his head with a hint of embarrassment.

Dianne blushed. "Yeah. It's kind of sad we're not on the same team though. It would have been nice."

"Yeah, for sure." Eddy smiled.

Dianne gazed into his eyes, before quickly averting her gaze. "S-sorry."

"Uh, it's… it's no big deal!" He assured.

Dianne blushed again, rubbing her arm. "Well…you are hot."

Upon hearing that, Eddy couldn't help but babble incoherently for a second before covering his mouth, his face now a deep red.

Dianne giggled a little, still blushing a bit. The two stared at each other in silence for a moment before the two suddenly shared a kiss!

Dianne would be wide-eyed, before melting into the kiss. As the two separated, neither were aware that Lin had seen the kiss happen and silently gasped to herself. As she could feel tears beginning to form in her eyes, she quickly turned away and left before either of the two could see her…

"And that just happened! We've got a hook-up!" Alexis grinned. "20 remain! Who'll be the next to go?! The tension is killing me!"

"But, while we prepare for our next challenge, we've got a bit of a surprise for the next episode!" Jenny noted.

"And it's the return of the Aftermath Show! Apparently, Maria was unable to return as the host, so we got someone new. Who's the host? You'll find out on the Aftermath! But stay tuned for more of Total! Drama! CANADIAN TRAVELS!" Chris gleefully announced.
