Oblivious Owls: Lila, Tracy, Spikke, Brad, Dianne, Matthew, Mackenzie, and Tatiana

"Last time on Total Drama Canadian Travels…" Chris began the famous recap, as he stood in the lobby area of the hotel in Muskoka.

"We were at Camp Wawanakwa, where the two teams had to find copper, bronze, silver, and gold statues of myself, uncle, and Chris," Alexis continued.

"Really does bring you back to the good times of the first season, doesn't it?" Chris sighed.

"Yeah, until you and Uncle sank it in season five…"

"It seems that there's tension on the Raccoons, especially between Eddy and Lin," Chef rolled his eyes, opting to ignore his niece's remark.

"But the Raccoons easily took the win, and the Owls said goodbye to Christopher, so we've got 19 contestants left! Who'll be the next to fall? Find out, on this incredible episode of…Total! Drama! CANADIAN TRAVELS!"

Dear Mom and Dad I'm doing fine,

You guys are on my mind.

You asked me what I wanted to be

and now I think the answer is plain to see,

I wanna be famous.

I wanna live close to the sun,

Go pack your bags, 'cause I've already won,

Everything to prove, nothing in my way

I'll get there one day.

Cause, I wanna be famous!

Na na na na na na na na na na na na na na na!

I wanna be, I wanna be, I wanna be famous

Na na na na na na na na na na na na na na na! (as can be heard in the background)

I wanna be, I wanna be, I wanna be famous

(Whistling in tune)

Episode 8: Fears Today, Gone Tomorrow

"Check."

Brad looked over the chessboard, a deep look of focus in his eyes as he thought about his next move. Both he and Lin had lost most of their pawns and while he had one rook, both knights and a bishop, he had lost his queen and half his pawns. Thankfully for him, Lin had only two pawns left, both rooks gone and her queen had just been taken. As of now, one of her bishops had his king in check until he made his move and smirked.

"That should be a checkmate." Brad said, looking over at the smaller girl, who was surprisingly sporting a smile. From afar, Ilyria would be watching the two, narrowing her eyes at this.

*Confessional*

Ilyria: "Something's fishy. Especially since Brad's on the other team. I don't like the look of this…"

*End Confessional*

Ilyria felt a familiar vibrating from her pocket that took her eyes off the two. As she pulled out her cell phone, she noticed a text from Terra showing a pair of fancy looking white boots.

'Hey, I saw these on sale and I was wondering if I should get them. I'd ask Lin but she said she's busy.'

'Well, if they're a good price, then get it.' Ilyria would be simple in her reply to Terra. 'Do you like them? If you do, then you can get it. Ultimately, it's up to you.'

The spy looked up from her phone to continue watching the chess game between Brad and Lin finishing up. She pursed her lips at this. 'Why is she with him of all people? I really don't trust him at all. He's very fishy; especially with him being around Tatiana and Lila…that perfect girl…'

"I'll see you tomorrow then." Brad's voice snapped Ilyria out of her thoughts. Ilyria soon focused on Lin approaching her.

"What on earth are you doing with Brad? You know he's on the other team, right?"

"He offered to play and I needed to get my mind off of some things. Other members of our team interact with the Owls as well, what's the issue?"

Ilyria sighed. "Never mind." Lin did have a point there.

"Honestly, I'm more concerned about why you were watching us."

Ilyria sighed again. "Can't I worry about my teammate?"

"You may be worrying about the wrong teammate. I can handle myself and you know that."

Ilyria nodded. "Okay." She would remain silent the rest of the night.

The next morning…

"Contestants! We're gonna remain here for the next challenge!" Chris announced gleefully.

"Here we go again," Brittany grumbled.

"Today's challenge is a fear factor challenge!"

"Oh bloody hell, not again…" Ilyria groaned.

"Again?" Juliette was confused.

"We had to do this challenge last season." Dante answered. "'Course, some of us did conquer our fears."

"Oh dear…" Dianne let out. "That sounds scary."

"It was," Brittany scoffed. "It really was."

"Okay, so the first person up…Lila! You are facing your fear of eating some seafood!" Chris announced.

"What's so bad about seafood?" Juliette asked.

"Eating it isn't really the issue, as long as I know it's coming." The soft-spoken redhead began to explain. "It's more like-"

Suddenly, the girl was interrupted by Chef, who dumped a bucket of chum on top of her, eliciting a soft gasp from Lila.

"You need to eat the seafood," Chris said with a shrug. "And if you don't, you won't get a point. While you do that…Dante! You need to face your fear of loneliness!"

Lucille gasped, glancing at Dante. "You've got this, Dante."

The taller boy ran a nervous hand through his hair. "After last season, I kinda-sorta overcame that fear. Not completely, but I think most of you know what I'm scared of now."

"Oh yeah, Damiano. The creep," Brittany scoffed, rolling her eyes. "I'll admit, he was bad. But not as bad as he-who-must-not-be-named."

"Well, you're not the one with him living in your head." Dante sighed as Chef led him to another room.

"Lucille! Time for you to face the vulture again!"

Lucille took a deep breath, and nodded. "Okay, I'm ready."

Chris suddenly took a sharp inhale and cupped his hands around his mouth as if he was about to explain something.

"Again with that?" Butch asked. "Didn't you pull that cheap trick last year, too?"

"Hmm, yeah, you're right." Chris shrugged. "It is a bit cheap to scare Lucille like that again."

"CAW!" Chef suddenly let out.

Lucille flinched, but didn't scream. "Give me the damn glove, and the vulture."

"Aww, you're no fun!" Chris groaned, handing the virtuoso a leather glove which she quickly put on. Then, the vulture would be brought out, and placed onto her gloved arm.

"Wow, that vulture looks terrifying…" Mackenzie let out.

"Mackenzie! Time for you to be enclosed in a tight space!" Chris gleefully announced.

"Me and my big fat mouth," the female YouTuber grumbled. "Fine. Let's do it." She would be taken to a tight room, and locked inside it.

"Matthew! You need to face your fear of frogs!"

"F*ck," Matthew groaned.

"Frogs?" Brittany scoffed.

"I don't want to talk about it…" the male YouTuber grumbled before he would be taken to a pond with frogs.

"You need to spend ten minutes with these frogs," Chris said with a gleeful grin on his face.

"This sucks," Matthew grumbled as an intern led him away.

"Lin! We tried getting in touch with your mom again, but apparently she's been arrested? Since that's out of the question we'll be going with the new fear you apparently developed! Heh, looks like what happened with your mom put a hole in our plans, eh?" The host was confused.

"Boo!" Butch groaned, giving Chris a thumbs down.

"You really are the worst." The short girl shook her head.

"Thank you," Chris grinned wickedly. "Now…" The host suddenly took out an assortment of photos. "You'll be shown a set of photos, as long as you don't scream, run, or throw up, you get a point."

Juliette glanced over at Lin. "You've got this." Lin looked over at the rest of the cast and smiled just a bit when she saw Brad nod towards her.

"Alright." She sighed. "Let's get this over with."

Chris and Chef would begin to show Lin a set of photos that had clusters of holes in unnatural places and on various objects. Aside from cringing at a few points and turning just a bit pale, Lin remained quiet.

"Oh dear god… poor Lin…" Juliette let out.

"I suppose I'll be in charge of the next fear. Tatiana, come along and get in a pen with some rats," Alexis said. The bookworm's right eye twitched as she followed Alexis, taking note of how Lila was still eating the chum, her skin pale as she gagged a bit. With a surprising smile, Tatiana patted the girl on the shoulder gently before following the young chef.

"I can't take this anymore!" Matthew screamed, running out of the pond. The frogs ribbiting had gotten annoying to him. However, within the concert of ribbits, a distinctly human voice seemed to be singing from within the horde…

"Hello my baby, hello my ho-"

The singing was abruptly cut short by Matthew throwing a nearby rock into the pond.

"Looks like Matthew doesn't get a point!" Chris let out.

"Sorry guys," Matthew let out, feeling upset, trying not to cry.

"Hey, try not to worry about it so much!" Tracy assured, playfully punching him in the arm.

Matthew sniffled, smiling a little. Lin would end up passing her fear, shuddering a bit as she rejoined the others.

"Spikke! It's time for you to face your fear of fire!" Chris announced.

"Αυτό είναι χάλια." Spikke grumbled in Greek. "Fine. Let's do this." He would be taken to a room which had a fake fire set up.

"We couldn't do a real fire, so that's why we had to do the fake fire," Chris grumbled, a bit annoyed.

"You have to escape the fire in 3 minutes," Chef said.

"Fine," Spikke let out, annoyed. He would enter the flaming house, and the door closed behind him.

"Your three minutes start…now!" Chris let out, pressing a stopwatch, and the timer began to go down.

Spikke would begin to escape the house. He would end up escaping, with 14 seconds left on the clock.

"And Spikke gets the point!" Chris announced. An unnamed intern would soon approach him with Mackenzie, and whisper something to him. "Mackenzie gets a point for the Owls! And it looks like Lucille gets the second point for the Raccoons!"

Lucille would take a deep breath, as she removed the glove. "Oh thank heavens."

"Good job," Juliette hugged Lucille, who smiled as she hugged her back.

Brittany would be next, and faced her fear of wasps. But she managed to get stung, causing her to swear; resulting in her not getting a point. She had to avoid being stung by the wasp in order to pass her fear.

"Oh, Butch! You're next!" Chris gleefully announced.

"I believe in you," Juliette looked at the brute. "You can pass this." She would give him a kiss on the cheek, for good luck.

"Uh, yeah, thanks doll." Butch chuckled, looking a tad bit nervous.

Juliette blushed, smiling at him. "You're welcome."

Butch followed Chris to the same pond that Matthew did his portion of the challenge in. Just like last time, a glass casket waited for him, though this time there appeared to be tiny holes on it. The sight of Chef smiling sinisterly while holding a blindfold did nothing to ease his nerves.

"Oh yeah, I almost forgot. You gotta wear the blindfold too."

"Oh, yeah, sure!" Butch shook his head. "You 'forgot'!"

"You can always pass, and not get the point," Chris grinned wickedly. "So, what will it be?"

"Y-You can make it as hard as you want, I ain't quitting!" Butch replied, puffing his chest out before accepting the blindfold and stepping into the casket.

Chris grinned at this sight as he pulled out a remote to manually lower the box into the pond slowly. The second that the coffin began to sink, the small holes allowed water to seep into it. The brute grit his teeth as he could feel his clothes begin to get soaked from the pond water, the darkness he was met with only making things worse.

"Next up…David!" Chef let out. "Apparently, you're afraid of missing a good picture? Hah! Lame!"

"Don't insult him!" Byron grumbled, annoyed.

"Says the guy who's afraid of worms," Alexis let out, as the blogger gave a disgusted look.

"Yeah, I'm passing. Sorry," the blogger let out.

"Typical," Brittany grumbled, annoyed, as Ilyria shook her head, angrily. Before anyone could say anything else, Butch began pounding on the glass case, cracking it a bit and getting the attention from everyone on the surface.

"Butch!" Juliette screamed, going over to the brute to try and get him out.

"Ah-ah-ah." Chris wagged his finger. "You've gotta face your fear, miss French girl."

"Yeah, no, since you're torturing Butch!" Juliette spat.

"You're no fun!" Chris whined. He would use the remote to open the glass coffin to free Butch. Though it could have already been considered open, seeing as how Butch had practically broken the glass plating already. With deep breaths, Butch removed the blindfold and clutched at his chest in a panic.

Juliette hurried over to the brute, hugging him. "Oh, Butch! I was so worried when I heard you banging on the coffin!"

"Lila passes her fear!" Chris announced gleefully as the redheaded girl made her way over to the rest of her team, quivering in anxiety and looking pale.

"Man, you Raccoons clearly suck. You only have 2 points…for now. It looks like if Dante passes his fear then that makes 3 points. The Owls currently have 3 points, too. So, it'll be tied."

"Not for long. Tatiana passed," Alexis announced. "So make that, four points for the Owls."

"Well done, Tatiana!" Dianne smiled at the bookworm, who was glaring at Chris.

"Don't ever make me go through that again!" She hissed.

"The ratings are gonna be sky high!" The host laughed maniacally. "Did David end up passing, Chef?"

"Nope, the sucker," Chef chuckled.

Byron frowned, going over to David. "Sorry you didn't pass your fear."

"Ugh, this whole day has just been awful!"

"Yeah, it's annoying," the blogger crossed his arms.

"Fernando, you're up next," Chris announced. "This time, we've got these…articles for you." Unbeknownst to the teens, the articles were fake, but tailored to make it seem like the model lost his sponsorships.

"Let… let me see those…" The model stammered, his eyes widening as he snatched the papers and began reading them aloud. "Former model released by agency?! Contract bought out by… Daytime television network?!"

Fernando had almost appeared to lose his sense of balance as he collapsed from sheer shock.

"No point for you," Chris sneered. "They're fake."

"You're twisted," Mackenzie snapped at the host, crossing her arms.

"What can I say? I love my job," Chris grinned.

Just as Chris had mentioned, Dante was still in the middle of facing his fear. Chef had brought him to a room that was mostly empty, save for a mirror in the center of the room. The lights were dimmed to the point where Dante almost couldn't recognize his reflection. The door wasn't locked, but the young man felt too entranced by his reflection to even try running away. His legs quivering a bit as he felt cold sweat drip down his face.

"You know it's only a matter of time, Dante."

"No, no no no no." Dante said aloud, almost as if trying to reassure himself. He tried keeping his eyes shut, but it was as if there was some force pulling him, forcing him to open them and look within the mirror.

As he did, he could see his own reflection staring back at him, just as it should be… Except even in the dimmed lights, he could still make out the diamond shaped pupils of Damiano, burrowing deep into his psyche.

"It's all just a matter of time…"

The troubled boy wanted to scream, but could only force out a croak before the lights brightened and the door opened. Dante could only silently thank Jenny when she popped her head in through the door to greet him, looking oddly worried.

"Uh, hey, so Chris filled me in on what's going on and he told me to come get you."

"Alright, let's see who's next." Chris pondered before getting a text and smiling. "Looks like Dante's passed his part of the challenge! Let's go with…Dianne next!"

The young woman paled.

"Huh, this is interesting. You listed two fears. One is your cancer returning. The other is walking on a tightrope over a volcano that's about to erupt. What to do….what to do?"

"Hmm, didn't Ilyria have a similar fear last season?" David asked.

"Yeah, so what?" Ilyria let out.

"How about Ilyria and Dianne face their challenge together?" the host smirked.

"I'm cool with that," the spy let out.

Dianne gulped, nodding. "O-okay."

Dianne and Ilyria would be standing at the top of a makeshift volcano, with fake lava in it. There would also be a tightrope at the top.

"Both of you have to make it across the tightrope, using only your hands to keep you balanced," the host smirked. "Let's see… how about Ilyria goes first?"

"I'm game," the spy said. She took a deep breath, stepping onto the tightrope; which would be a little wobbly. The spy nearly lost her balance, but she carefully took tiny steps forward, holding her hands out to balance herself. It did take some time, but the spy would make it across, earning another point for her team.

"It's 4-4, right now," Chris said. "Dianne?"

The young woman took a deep breath, and would carefully get onto the tightrope. With her lips trembling, she would slowly make her way across the tightrope, earning herself a point for her team.

"It's 5-4, Owls in their favor! Tracy, you're up next! We've got a makeshift city set up for you to get lost in!"

"Are you sure about this? Is this legal?" The country girl asked, already beginning to sweat.

"Hey, if you don't want to earn a point for your team, just say the word," Chris smirked.

"Ugh, fine, I'll do it…" She whimpered.

"Wonderful! While you're doing that…Eddy!" The shorter boy immediately went pale upon hearing his name.

"We've got a couple of bats ready for you!" Chris said with Chef giggling to himself behind him.

"Oh man, as if flying rats weren't bad enough…"

"Brad, you're pretty interesting. You're afraid of losing control?" The host looked at the hatted boy, who simply sucked his teeth and glared at the host.

"Fine. But I won't like it."

"You're not supposed to like it," the host said in a sing-song voice.

A couple of minutes later, Brad would be hooked up to Chef, as if he were a puppet. Brittany snickered seeing this.

"Y'know, I think it would be awesome to have a yearbook, like high schools do. David, would you like to get a photo of this?"

"As much as I love a good photo, I'd prefer it if the subject was in a better mood. I'd rather not see anyone be uncomfortable in a photo."

"Ugh, fine," the mob boss rolled her eyes. "Though it would have been fun seeing this as a photo."

"Alright." Chris began, having Alexis wheel in an assortment of objects ranging from a rubber chicken, various pies, and a gallon of spray seltzer water. "Brad, you're currently hooked up to Chef with a set of wires and cables. From above, Chef will puppet you around, and you'll have to last for three minutes. You still have one last chance to back out of this."

"As much as I hate you for this, I can't afford to back out of this now." Brad hissed.

"Suit yourself. Hit it, Chef!"

The burly man grinned, and would begin to puppet Brad towards some of the obstacles. He would be laughing wickedly as he did so. Chef himself seemed to be laughing a bit as he made Brad hit himself with a cherry pie before spraying him with seltzer water. While the rest of the teens laughed at Brad's misfortune, eventually the timer ran out and Chef let the boy go.

"And that's another point for the Owls! Well done!" Chris grinned. He would grab his walkie talkie. "Chris to Alexis, has Tracy made it through the fake city?"

"She has," Alexis responded through the walkie talkie.

"Damn it," Ilyria let out a growl.

Brittany swore in Italian. "We're never gonna catch up now…"

"And Eddy passes his fear, but sadly, Raccoons, it's not enough, so you're going to the elimination ceremony," Chris said.

"Aw man," Byron groaned.

"Take some time to figure out who you want to vote for, and we'll see you soon," Chef grinned wickedly.

Revolting Raccoons

The team would be gathered in a huddle. "So, we've got a lot of people to consider eliminating…" Brittany growled.

"You're one of them," Ilyria glanced at the mob boss, who would give the spy the middle finger, which would be censored.

"I don't want to send anyone home…especially since I've gotten to know most of the newbies well," Juliette let out.

"We could vote out the guy who fainted over being on tv instead of being a model." Eddy shrugged.

"Eh? Excuse me?" Fernando scoffed. "I'm not the only one who failed my part of the challenge!"

"He's right. We could vote out either the photographer, or Sierra's cousin," Brittany smirked over at the two. "But if you guys can't decide, then I need to get some air. Now." She huffed, as she stood up, going outside.

Juliette glanced over at Butch. "We might be targets…"

"With how many people she's putting on blast, I wouldn't be surprised if some of us decide to vote for her." Butch grimaced.

"Well, she is a villian," Juliette let out. "But I don't want you to go…"

"Thanks, doll." Butch smirked as he put his arm around her before growing serious and looking at the rest of his team. "Alright, back to business though, who should we vote for?"

Brittany (Revolting Raccoons)

The mob boss would be sitting on the steps of the hotel, thinking to herself while also grumbling about her team.

"Looks like someone's in a good mood." A sarcastic voice said. Brittany scoffed in the direction of the voice, only for her scowl to deepen when she saw Tatiana and Lila.

"What do you two want?" she demanded. "Go back and be with your team."

"We don't want anything. We just figured you'd like a suggestion for the vote." Tatiana replied, giving the mob boss a glare just as vicious as hers.

"Just get on with it, and leave," Brittany spat.

"B-B-Butch." Lila stammered, clearly intimidated by the mobster. "We're asking you to vote off Butch."

"Oh?" Brittany raised an eyebrow as she stepped up to look Lila in the eyes. "He's strong, is that why you're asking to vote for him?"

"Y-Yeah, plus he went far last season." Lila added.

"One vote won't be enough to get him out though. You know that more than anyone. But, obviously, the two of us can't just go and tell the rest of the Raccoons to vote for him. Which is where you come in."

Brittany rolled her eyes. "Obviously."

Later that night, Brittany would manage to talk to some of her teammates about the vote.

"Raccoons, it's time to vote!" Chris announced.

Elimination Ceremony (Revolting Raccoons)

"As per the previous elimination ceremony, we're going with the classic marshmallows. But the eliminated contestant will be getting…THE TOXIC MARSHMALLOW OF LOSERDOM!" Chris announced, as Chef, dressed in safety gear, would be holding out a chest with a glowing green marshmallow in it.

"Go ahead and place your votes in the confessionals," Chris said.

Voting Confessionals (Revolting Raccoons)

Lucille: "Brittany came up to me, and told me to vote for Butch. While we are on okay terms…I guess I will vote for him. Sorry, Butch, my vote's for you."

*static*

Ilyria: "My vote's going to Brittany, of course."

*static*

Juliette: "Brittany. She scares me."

*static*

Brittany: "So long, Butch."

*static*

Byron: "Butch."

*static*

Fernando: "Surely it must be Butch. While we may have argued earlier, this isn't about that. It's just that he's much stronger and getting him out now will benefit us in the long term."

*static*

Butch: "I'm tempted to vote Fernando for being such a wuss but Brittany's been acting shady. Plus she's already made it to the end once, why should we let her get that far again?"

*static*

Lin: He's rude, crass, and not very bright. But Butch is still my friend, and I still haven't forgotten everything that happened last season, so I'm voting for Brittany."

*static*

Eddy: "Brittany had some pretty good points when she talked to me and David earlier so I guess I'll vote for Butch. No hard feelings, bro."

*static*

David: "Okay, so we just got into our room for the night and Brittany comes knocking and says that we should vote off Butch. Really weird choice but the way I see it, this could be one of those strategic plays Joseph told me to make so I'll vote for him."

End Voting Confessionals

"You've cast your votes. The first marshmallow goes to…Fernando!" Chris announced, tossing the male model his marshmallow. "The second marshmallow goes to…Lin! The third marshmallow goes to…Byron! The fourth marshmallow goes to…David! The fifth marshmallow goes to…Eddy! The sixth marshmallow goes to…Lucille! The seventh marshmallow goes to…Juliette! The eighth marshmallow goes to…Ilyria!"

There would be one regular marshmallow, and the toxic marshmallow.

"Now, the toxic marshmallow of loserdom goes to…

…Butch!"

"What?!" Juliette would be shocked. "No!"

"The votes don't lie," Chris smirked, tossing the regular marshmallow to the mob boss, who smirked as she ate it.

Tears would be in Juliette's eyes while Butch simply rolled his.

"You know what?" He began. "It's whatever."

"I'm gonna miss you," Juliette said, looking him in the eyes.

"Look, I'll see you around, alright." Butch said, trying to calm himself down as he gave Juliette a quick hug.

Juliette hugged him back, trying not to cry.

"Butch, go ahead and grab your stuff, before going on the Bus of Losers," Alexis said. "The rest of you, you're dismissed."

Fernando and Mackenzie

Mackenzie would be waiting at the hotel for Fernando and the others to return.

"Well, I suppose that's done." Fernando sighed as he sat in the lobby of the hotel.

"I'm guessing you guys sent Brittany home?" the female YouTuber glanced at him.

"No, actually, we ended up voting for Butch."

"Color me surprised," Mackenzie let out.

"Yes, well, I suppose it's quick thinking like that that got her into the finale last season." Fernando shrugged.

"I mean, she was a villain," Mackenzie shrugged. "She wasn't as bad of a villain, right Fernando?"

"Well, she certainly did have everyone in the game at that point against her, so she certainly made her mark as a villain. But that was then, I'd much rather focus on the now in this game."

Mackenzie blushed, glancing into his eyes. "I see…"

"Well, my dear, it is getting a bit late and, after today, I think we'd all much rather go to sleep." Fernando said with a stretch.

Mackenzie reached up and kissed his cheek. "Yes. I suppose we should. Goodnight, Fernando."

She would soon head inside, leaving the model on the steps.

Byron and David

The blogger would sit in the lobby, thinking to himself.

'I am glad that David and I weren't sent home…'

"Hey, you. I thought you went to bed." David called out, already in his pajamas.

"Not yet," Byron let out, glancing over with a blush on his face. "Come and sit, handsome."

David took a seat across from the blogger, allowing him to see that the photographer was holding onto his cell phone.

"I just got done talking to my cousin." David began.

"And? I guess he told you to stay away from me?" Byron frowned. "I know, I've been a bit too forward…" The blogger was trying not to cry tears of sadness.

"He hasn't said a word about you. No offense to either of you, but he's the type to not care about those he doesn't really know. But he might meet you soon. He was just telling me about how he and some of the older contestants might be coming in as part of a challenge soon."

"Oh?" Byron wiped his tears away, glancing at him. "That's amazing. I'm honestly excited to meet him in person."

"Yeah, I'd say he's pretty cool."

Chris watched the two, and those that were still awake and not in their rooms, from the hotel's security cams before turning to the cameras.

"Well, after that day and elimination, I'd say we're in for a pretty interesting ride!" He began.

"Tell me about it. How will Juliette survive without Butch? Will Byron and David finally hook up? How about Fernando and Mackenzie?" Alexis asked. At the look her uncle gave her, she shrugged. "What can I say? I love romance."

"Well we might just get some answers and more, next time on Total Dra-"

A knock at the door cut off Chris, prompting a nasty glare from the host over to Jenny, who was standing by the door sheepishly.

"Hey, um, I need to tell you something." She said.

"Fine, fine, what is it?" Chris asked.

"So I'm going to have to step away from intern duties. I went to the doctor like I said I would before and, well… it turns out I'm pregnant."

"Shut up!" Alexis squealed. "Congratulations!"

"Thank you! But… Yeah, so, I don't know if there's something else I can do in the meantime or if you want me to resign or something."

Chris huffed. "Well…I suppose you can resign, but just so you know, you'll get the year off from interning after your kid is born. But we will need someone to take over while you're away."

"If Johan's gonna be busy…" Alexis said. "Perhaps we can go with a former contestant?"

"That won't be necessary." A voice most of the crew didn't recognize called out, taking everyone by surprise.

"Sapphire, what are you doing here?" Jenny asked. The woman now standing at the doorway to the office was a bit taller than Jenny and wore an official looking grey suit. Her hair was shoulder-length and dark brown and her eyes were an icy light-blue.

"I'm here to introduce your new intern. I got in touch with the network and I think it'll be good for her to be here." The woman explained, giving a certain redheaded girl a push into the office.

"Charlene?" Jenny asked, her eyes wide in surprise. "Do the boys know about this?"

"What they don't know won't hurt them. Besides, touring is done for now."

"Don't I get a say in this?!" The rocker asked.

"No." Her sister answered. "It's up to Chris now."

All eyes went to the host…

"You know what? Let's also get the rest of the boys, besides Johan, he can be on the Aftermath shows. I think I'm gonna have some fun with them all." A wicked smirk came to his face.

Sapphire raised an eyebrow but shrugged. "Sure." She said, "I'll give them a call."

"Why do you hate me?" Charlene groaned.

"I don't. You know that." Sapphire replied before putting her hand out. "Now hand them over."

"What?!"

"You heard me."

"Ugh…" Charlene groaned before handing her older sister a carton of cigarettes.

"All of them!"

Charlene pulled out another carton from her back pocket. All the while Alexis was wide eyed and completely gobsmacked seeing this.

"ALL. OF. THEM."

Charlene pulled out two more from her other back pocket and inside of her jacket.

"Thank you." Sapphire sighed before looking at Chris. "You can expect the boys to be here by tomorrow morning."

"Good, now can I get back to the outro?" Chris asked. "Good. Find out, next time, on Total! Drama! CANADIAN TRAVELS!"
