We don't own Total Drama, only our OC's.
Revolting Raccoons: Fernando, Lin, Lucille, David, Ilyria, Eddy, Byron, Brittany, and Dante
Oblivious Owls: Lila, Tracy, Spikke, Brad, Dianne, Matthew, Mackenzie, and Tatiana
"Last time on Total Drama Canadian Travels…" Chris began the famous recap, as he stood in the lobby area of the hotel in Muskoka.
"It was our last day in Muskoka, so we decided to have some alumni help us out with some sub challenges, that being Walter, Joseph, Jerusha, Terra, and Miguel and Abigail," Alexis began.
"Walter and Joseph's sub challenge was first, and the Raccoons would easily breeze through the obstacle course that was set up," Chef let out.
"Miguel and Abigail's sub challenge was next, and they had the group do two plays. The Owls would win that challenge," Chris continued.
"Finally, it was Jerusha and Terra's challenge; and it was a really spooky haunted house, which the Owls would also be able to win," Alexis let out.
"I announced the twist of the Owls also voting, and the votes were mixed, that's for sure," Chris grinned.
"I still think those votes were tampered with," Alexis grumbled.
"Where's the proof?" Chris grinned tauntingly.
"No comment," Alexis grumbled again.
"But in the end, it was Juliette who went home, and Brittany's still safe for another day," Chef let out. "We're down to 17, and things are going to get crazier."
"Who'll be the next loser to board the Bus of Losers? Find out, on the next episode of…Total! Drama! CANADIAN TRAVELS!" Chris announced gleefully.
Dear Mom and Dad I'm doing fine,
You guys are on my mind.
You asked me what I wanted to be
and now I think the answer is plain to see,
I wanna be famous.
I wanna live close to the sun,
Go pack your bags, 'cause I've already won,
Everything to prove, nothing in my way
I'll get there one day.
Cause, I wanna be famous!
Na na na na na na na na na na na na na na na!
I wanna be, I wanna be, I wanna be famous
Na na na na na na na na na na na na na na na! (as can be heard in the background)
I wanna be, I wanna be, I wanna be famous
(Whistling in tune)
Episode 10: Into The Woods
Muskoka, Ontario
Mackenzie and Tracy (Oblivious Owls)
"We're going to Saskatchewan!" Mackenzie squealed. "Isn't this fun?!"
"Well I've never been to Canada in general until now, have you ever been there? What's it like?"
"I haven't been there," Mackenzie let out. "So I don't know what to expect."
"Well if it's out in the country, then I'd really like that."
"I still think it's weird though," Mackenzie let out. "How the votes earlier went."
"Totally! But… I'm kinda relieved it wasn't our team."
"What makes you say that?" Mackenzie asked.
"I mean, what if we had to vote someone off? If someone rigged the votes, what if someone wanted to get rid of one of us?"
"Oh my, you've got a point there," Mackenzie let out. "I don't know…should we investigate?"
"Maybe… But honestly I kind of just want to lay low. If you really want to find out what happened, maybe we should ask one of those spy girls to help us. I know they're not on our team, but it wouldn't hurt to try, right?"
"And maybe I'll be able to talk with Fernando more!" Mackenzie smiled. "I'm so relieved he didn't go home last night."
"Well maybe you'll get the chance to talk to him soon."
Ilyria and Fernando (Revolting Raccoons)
"So. We're roommates." Ilyria huffed. "I still find it odd how those votes went last night."
"I suppose you and I agree on that." Fernando nodded. "While I fully expected to go tonight, I'll be honest and say that I voted for Brittany. I assumed most of our team voted for me. As a spy, I was hoping to ask if you could investigate this matter."
"I'm down. But I'll probably need some help. Lin's busy right now, so you're the only other person I can trust, aside from Lucille, who's still down about earlier with Joseph not paying attention to her."
"You… You trust me?"
"Well, you haven't played with anyone's heart, since you've learned your lesson, you bloody git," Ilyria let out. "And I've seen you talk with Mackenzie."
"And I don't intend to. In any case, while I may not exactly be good with stealth, I am a people person. I could certainly try to find out what's going on with Joseph if it'll help you and Lucille."
"She's a really sweet girl, and I don't want to see her get her heart broken. She's been through so much since last season," Ilyria replied.
"So, you scratch my back, I scratch yours?"
"I suppose we can put it that way, yes," Ilyria nodded. "Don't screw this up."
Lin and Brad
The pair had regrouped in the lobby of the hotel again for a few more rounds of chess. Despite all of the issues plaguing the Raccoons at the moment, everything seemed quiet and peaceful between the two. At least until Lin finally spoke up.
"So… which of you three messed with the votes? Was it you?"
Brad looked up from the board, being met with Lin's firm glare. The two looked at each other in silence before Brad averted his gaze and sighed.
"It was you, wasn't it…"
Brad made a low groan from the back of his throat, not bothering to look up at the girl as he moved his bishop forward.
"Why?"
"Look, I'm not proud of it, alright? But it needed to be done."
"Why Juliette though? If you were going to mess with the votes, I'd have assumed you three would target Brittany."
"Tatiana wants to keep her around for longer. You saw how she threatened her after finishing that first part of the challenge. Tati didn't take too kindly to that, and now she wants to make Brittany squirm."
"You know she roped me into an alliance, right?"
"...I had a feeling."
"They're only going after her because she got close to Joseph." Lin was caught off guard a bit when Brad laughed a little.
"It's funny. She has zero interest in him, romantically at least. She told me that she only asked him for advice pertaining to the game itself, and I believe her. Trust me, I'd know if she was interested in him."
"How can you tell?"
"She may look calm and collected on the outside, but she's a lot girlier than she lets on. A guy like Joseph doesn't interest her, especially since he's in a relationship. A currently rocky relationship that looks like it's about to crumble, but a relationship nonetheless. Anyway, when it comes to this alliance you've been pulled into, I won't do anything to target you and I'll make sure the girls don't do the same. You have my word."
"And you won't tamper with the votes again?"
"I certainly hope I'm not put into a position where I have to."
"I just hope that you don't end up biting off more than you can chew. As frustrating as she can be to deal with, Brittany is someone you wouldn't want to mess with."
"Well…" Brad chuckled. "Neither are the four of us. That's my alliance, and yourself. I know you're aligned with her right now, but you don't want to be. But whatever happens between Brittany, Lucille, and my circle of friends, I do hope at least you can walk away from this unscathed."
"Oh? Any reason as to why you feel that way?"
"Well, I do happen to enjoy these nightly games of chess." Brad smirked, finally looking up at Lin, who smiled back at him and shook her head.
"Just don't do what you're doing in this game right now." Lin sighed, moving her knight. "Otherwise, you'll end up in Checkmate."
Tatiana and Lila (Oblivious Owls)
"Going somewhere?" Tatiana asked as she watched Lila head for the door to their room.
"I just need some time to myself, I hope you understand."
"Sure, just try not to be out too long and look after yourself."
"I'm not the only one who needs to worry for their safety." Lila whispered to herself, taking one last look at her friend before leaving.
As she walked along the hallway, the soft-spoken girl took out a locket from her pocket and opened it up, revealing a photo of a woman who she greatly resembled, right down to the brilliant red shade of hair.
"Oh, Mom, if there was anything I needed to be more confident in, it's this game. What would you do?" She said to herself. As she continued walking, the only sound she could hear was the sound of her footsteps until the sound of what appeared to be some sort of demonic roar rang out behind one of the doors in the lobby. The sudden deep growl startled Lila, as she looked over at the door the sound came from with horror. Hesitantly, she reached for the knob and opened it, revealing that it was just Charlene and the band, practicing a song with the pink-haired girl singing. Despite her rather petite appearance, the girl's voice managed to be shockingly deep as she belted out harsh vocals.
In an instant, the young woman's voice instantly switched from deep growls to her normal voice as she continued singing.
"Like a cat without a care
Roaming freely through the streets
You could find him in amongst the pigeons
In the square.
He won't see the sun again for years to come
He's broken out of love!"
Just as it looked like Charlene was about to continue, the band all noticed Lila watching them.
"Well, there goes the rhythm." Charlene sighed. "Take five, guys."
"Yeah, it was getting a bit late." Kevin stretched.
"So, what's up, kid?" Charlene asked.
"Oh, um, n-nothing. I was just passing by and heard your singing. I didn't know your voice could be so deep."
"Yeah, well, natural talent and nicotine'll do that to you."
"Smoking is ever-so bad for you though!"
"Yeah, yeah, I've heard the whole spiel before." Charlene scoffed, dismissing the girl with a wave of her hand.
"Right… I… I do have a question for you though." Lila said, earning an eyebrow raise from the singer. "I know you can't interfere with the challenges much but I would appreciate some advice; I've been going through this contest so far by hiding behind my teammates and I know I can't do that forever. I need to be more confident. How can I do that? How can I be confident and tough like you?"
"Like me? Pfft. I don't think you want to end up like me, kid. But confidence… That's something you need to build up for yourself. I'm the way I am because if I see something I want, I go for it. I won't always be able to get it, but I sure as hell try to. If you want to be more like that then you need to tell yourself that even if you're scared to do something, you go for it. Doesn't matter if you might get hurt for it, but once it's over then things only get better. You learn from it and end up a better person from it. Got it?"
"Y-Yeah… I think I get it." Lila nodded as she turned for the door, but she looked at the band one more time. "Thanks for the advice. All of you have real talent and… RoderickIThinkYou'reHandsomeOKBye!"
"Pff, Hahahahaha!" Kevin burst out laughing. Charlene shook her head in shock while the drummer just looked baffled.
"I'm sorry, what the hell just happened?" Roderick asked.
"Well, guess she gained a bit of backbone!" Charlene chuckled. "Alright boys, let's get back to practice. Johan let us use the song he wrote, so let's make this version ten times better! From the top now!"
The Next Morning…
"Good morning everyone!" Chris announced. "As you may have seen on the message board in the lobby, yes, we are going to Saskatchewan. Pack up your stuff, and meet us in the lobby!"
Byron and David (Revolting Raccoons)
"Saskatchewan! I bet you're excited to get some amazing pictures, eh?" the blogger grinned.
"Ohhh, I definitely will!"
"Any particular pictures in mind?" Byron would playfully flex for the photographer.
"Hmm… definitely the brilliant landscapes!" David winked, laughing to himself.
"That would be wonderful," Byron grinned, fixing his glasses. "I still can't believe we've made it this far. Do you think we'll make it further?"
"Hard to tell. After what happened last night, anything is possible!"
"Well, I'm glad we're finally together," Byron smiled at him sweetly. "I just hope everything's okay with your cousin and Lucille. Things seem really rocky for them at the moment."
"You're telling me." David sighed. "At first I thought they just needed some time, but now that I saw what happened yesterday and had some time to think about it, I don't think they're going to be together for much longer."
"Poor Lucille…she's gonna be devastated…" Byron frowned. "I just hope they don't break up…my blog fans think they'll remain together, despite all of the issues. They're even trending with the hashtag #JOCILLE4EVER."
"I'm glad the two have their fans but… a hashtag? Not gonna lie, that's kinda cringe."
"Hey, I didn't pick it, my fans did," Byron shrugged as the two began to board the bus to the next destination. "Let's sit together. I want to get a selfie for my blog to announce our relationship."
Eddy and Dianne
"Is the seat next to you taken?" Dianne glanced over at Eddy, smiling as she had her luggage with her.
"Knock yourself out." Eddy shrugged with a sly grin.
Dianne smiled as she sat next to him. "I've missed you, handsome."
"Appreciate that, Doll. To be honest, it kinda feels like we've kinda been relegated to the sidelines."
"What do you mean?" Dianne was a bit confused.
"I mean, with the vote stuff happening last night and the drama that I hear is going around with Brittany, Lucille, and some of the people on the other team, not to mention David and Byron hooking up, it sorta feels like the two of us, along with guys like Dante and that country girl, Tracy, are just… I don't know, there. Like we're just filler."
"I see…" Dianne let out.
"I just got really introspective right there, didn't I?" Eddy laughed. "I guess one of my friends back home is rubbing off on me. Anyway, what's going on with you, sweet cheeks?"
"Nothing much," Dianne blushed. "I still find it odd though, how the votes went. Most of us planned to take out Brittany."
"Yeah, it should have been either her or Fernando going yesterday, it's weird."
"Why was Juliette targeted?" Dianne glanced at Eddy. "She didn't do anything wrong."
"Could've fooled me." Eddy shrugged.
"But still? It's odd. You've got those two spies on your team," Dianne said. "Maybe they'll be investigating how the votes went down?" She snuggled up closer to Eddy, glancing into his eyes.
"Probably, but for now, I think I'll focus on what's important and what's in front of me."
"Oh, you're such a charmer," Dianne giggled, kissing him sweetly.
Tracy and Matthew
"Hey, would you mind if I sat with you?" The country girl asked.
"Go ahead," Matthew nodded. "What's up, Tracy?"
"Not much, really, figured I'd talk to you since it feels like we hardly talk at all. It feels like everyone's either in an alliance, a relationship, or just trying to stay in the game."
"I hear you. With my sister crushing on Fernando, and me crushing on Alexis, who knows when I'll get to talk to her," the male YouTuber sighed.
"She's been oddly quiet lately. Maybe now's your chance to talk to her. It wouldn't hurt, right?"
"I hope," Matthew sighed. "But it's funny, huh? Is there anyone, especially from the alumni, who you think you might end up with one day? Perhaps Walter?"
"Not everything has to be about relationships, y'know. Maybe I could be happy all on my own." Tracy shrugged. "Or maybe I could end up like Ilyria and Brittany, ending up with someone who wasn't on the show before."
"That's true," Matthew nodded, getting a bit caught off guard when Tracy sighed and leaned back into the seat of the bus.
"This show really isn't what I thought it was going to be…" she said.
"It's Total Drama. What'd you expect?" Matthew asked.
"I don't know, honestly. But my brothers told me that this show was going to be a real test of skills, mentally and physically and there has definitely been stuff like that in some of the challenges, I feel like I've just kind of drifted along by…"
"Oh my…I'm so sorry…" Matthew let out.
"Ah, don't be sorry." Tracy exhaled, sitting upright. "I mean, it's not like we're living in some story where you could write what happens next, right? Life's all about moving forward and building yourself up. That's what my Ma and Pa always said."
"That's sweet," Matthew smiled.
"Yeah, they're the best. I do miss them, and my brothers too, but I'll see them again once the show's over."
"Honestly, it's just me, my parents, and my twin sister," Matthew let out. "I'm glad the two of us are competing together, and on the same team too."
"Likewise!"
Fernando and Mackenzie
The female YouTuber would be trying to sleep; having not gotten a good night's sleep the night before. Fernando tried remaining as still as possible as the young woman sitting with him had been trying to sleep on his shoulder.
"I'm sorry…am I making you uncomfortable?" Mackenzie asked.
"No, no, you're fine… Actually, I thought you were asleep."
"Trying," Mackenzie huffed. "I was up all night, thinking about why the vote went all so wrong…"
"I understand. Quite honestly, I think foul play was involved. But while part of me is relieved to still be in the game, I know that it should have been me that was voted off."
"You really think foul play was involved in Juliette's elimination?"
"Call it a hunch."
"Oh?" Mackenzie glanced at him. "I honestly am glad someone handsome like you is still in the game."
The male model smiled at Mackenzie before looking out of the bus window.
"I suppose I should be thankful I'm still here as well. Ilyria seems to be beginning to trust me as well."
"She has?" Mackenzie was surprised. "How come?"
"We're going to try and figure out what truly happened regarding the votes last night. I'm not sure what we'll find, but there must be a paper trail. There must be something we can find out!"
"I hope you can figure it out," Mackenzie let out, reaching up to kiss his cheek, before blushing. "S-sorry. Was that too much?"
"Ahaha, no, no, don't worry about it."
"Okay, good," Mackenzie let out. "Maybe sleeping on your shoulder isn't as comfortable…"
A couple of hours later…
Regina, Saskatchewan
"Welcome to Saskatchewan! The challenge will be taking place at night!" Chris grinned. "You'll be spending a night in the woods!"
"And when morning hits, you'll have to work together as a team to make your way to the hotel!" Alexis continued.
"The first team back with all of their members will win," Chris said. "So you guys have a bit of free time until night falls, so do whatever you teens like to do. Just don't go too crazy."
Revolting Raccoons
"So? What's the plan guys?" Ilyria glanced at her team as they all walked down a dirt path that Chris had designated for them. "What should we do until sundown?"
"David and I are hoping to find some landscapes to get some pictures," Byron smiled.
"That sounds like fun," Lucille smiled.
"I'll probably practice some whittling." Lin answered. "It's a hobby I thought about getting into."
"Sounds cool. If I can find a shooting range, I'll go there," Brittany said.
"That's perfect for you," Ilyria smirked at the mob boss.
"I know," Brittany smirked back. "What about you, Dante?"
"I think just getting out of the city will be good for me. But I have to ask, Brittany, we're in the middle of the woods, why would there be a shooting range?"
"Oh, right," Brittany grumbled. "Never mind then."
"I think I might paint. I did bring some acrylic paint," Lucille said. "I did get into painting before my accident."
"Well, we also gotta worry about necessities, right?" Eddy asked. "Like getting food and water out here?"
"That's true," Ilyria nodded. "Let's go ahead and get some food and water."
"We should probably wait until we get to the campsite first. It's supposed to be in a clearing not too far from a river, according to this map that pink haired girl gave us." Lin explained.
"Sounds good," Lucille nodded. "Are you coming, Fernando?"
"Well it would certainly make no sense if I didn't come along." The model shrugged.
"Let's move," Brittany said, giving the model a nod. "We can't lose again."
Oblivious Owls
"Are we almost at the campsite?" Dianne asked, walking with her team along the dirt path.
"I think so," Spikke nodded. "We also need to find food and water."
"There's a lake near the campsite," Mackenzie said. "So we can catch fish to eat."
"I can handle the fishing." Tracy said proudly. "I've gone fishing with my dad and brothers tons of times."
"I, um, have also gone fishing a few times before my family moved. Perhaps I could help, too?" Lila asked.
"Sure! I could use a hand!"
"Matthew and I can handle setting up the tents," Mackenzie said.
"I can help too," Spikke nodded at the twins.
"Sure, we need all the help we can get," Matthew nodded at the rapper.
"Hey, I see the clearing!" Dianne let out. "Come on!"
Campsite Clearing (Both Teams)
The Owls would make it to the campsite at the same time as the Raccoons.
"Thank goodness we each get our own tents," Brittany grumbled. "Sure, it might mean a lot more work, but hey, better than causing drama."
"That's true," Byron nodded. "Okay, so how should we divide the tasks in setting up our campsite?"
"We need food and water at least, right?" Eddy asked. "I can handle the fishing, I guess, but I might need a hand."
"I think I can help you there." Dante replied.
"Okay, that's good," Lucille nodded. "Brittany, do you think you can set up the tents?"
"It might take me a bit, but I can try," the mob boss replied. "Who wants to help me?"
"Well, if nothing else, I should at least be able to do that." Fernando answered. "I'm not accustomed to the wilderness, though."
"That's okay," Brittany nodded. "I appreciate the help anyways."
"Collecting water is fairly simple, I think I can handle that on my own." Lin shrugged.
"I can help find wood to make a fire," Ilyria said.
"I can help with that," Lucille nodded over at the secret agent.
"Thank you, Lucille," the British agent smiled.
"No problem," Lucille replied.
"David and I can help as well," Byron let out. "We're probably gonna need a lot of firewood."
"I mean, sure," Ilyria nodded, glancing over at the blogger and photographer. "That works."
"Yeah, we appreciate the help boys," Lucille gave a friendly smile.
"Seems like we have everything planned out, so let's get to it!" David exclaimed.
The team nodded, and would disperse to complete their tasks. Meanwhile, the Owls were planning on dividing their tasks. Lila and Tracy had already left to go catch some fish while Brad was helping the siblings set up the tents. Dianne would be with Spikke, getting wood for their campfire.
Eddy, Dante, Lila, and Tracy (Revolting Raccoons/Oblivious Owls)
The two Raccoons sat in silence as they used fishing rods provided in their team's supplies in a river not too far from their camp. But while Dante sat in silence, watching the bobber move in the water, Eddy lay on his back, staring up at the sky and, in his words, 'dying of boredom'.
"This sucks." He groaned.
"Well, you said you wanted to go fishing." Dante shrugged.
"Yeah, but I thought it would be more exciting." The shorter boy groaned as he sat back up and watched his bobber float. "I wish my brother was here, he's a whizz at fishing."
"Funny, so is mine!"
The two boys jumped a bit as they turned around to see Tracy and Lila behind them, both girls with big grins on their faces as they sat down next to the two boys.
"Can you not do that?" Eddy grumbled.
"Sure, as long as you don't complain about us being here." Tracy shrugged.
"No offense but why join us here?" Dante asked. "The river's big enough for all of us to have space."
"Yeah, but it's nice to have some company while we're out here. I mean we do each have a teammate out here but if it's just one other person, sometimes it can get a bit awkward." The country girl explained.
"Plus, even though we're not on the same team, it's ever-so nice to get to know other people." Lila added.
"I guess…" Eddy rolled his eyes. "What's with that verbal tic of yours anyway?"
"What 'verbal tic'?" Lila asked.
"I think he means how you add 'ever-so' to some of the things you say." Dante replied.
"Hmm, quite honestly, I'm not certain. It most likely came from my mother. She spoke the same way I do and we were so close that I sort of became a mini version of her."
"I'm sure she's rooting for you back home." Tracy said, giving the redhead a smile which Lila didn't return. Instead, the young woman's face turned into a mournful frown as she gazed into the clear blue water.
"I'm sure she is…"
The other three teens looked at each other in concern before turning back to their fishing rods in silence. The silence remained for a moment before a soft splash came out of the water.
"Ribbit."
The frog blinked, before pulling out a top hat from out of nowhere, along with a cane.
"Hello my baby,
Hello my Ho-"
The frog was cut off by Tracy, who had a displeased look on her face as she threw a rock at the amphibian.
"Stupid frog, you're making things awkward!" Eddy hissed.
"Ribbit."
Ilyria, Byron, Lucille and David (Revolting Raccoons)
The two girls were silent as they picked up wood for the fire. Lucille's arms showed a little bit of muscle as she carried the wood.
"Dang, Lucille, you really did get a workout with Joseph," the secret agent commented.
"Yeah, I'm really happy about that," Lucille smiled, before it dropped. "Though I am worried about the status of our relationship."
"I'm sure things will work themselves out eventually." David remarked. "You're just going through a bit of a rough patch right now."
"This is my first relationship," Lucille sighed.
"Is there anything you intend to do to maybe try fixing things?" The photographer inquired.
"Well, I do want to do something to try and win him back…but it's been so hard; especially since he's busy with the football season; after being signed to the Kansas City Chiefs," Lucille replied. "Also, the fact we didn't get to talk after the sub challenges."
"You know, maybe if you win the season, he might take you back," Byron let out.
"I dunno…" Lucille looked down.
"Think about it. You were the first merge boot last season," Ilyria let out. "You can come back from it, and win the game. Heck, you can be like…a tribal chieftess."
"I'm still not sure…" Lucille let out. "Do you really think I can win the season?"
"I mean, we're definitely not going to make it easy for you once the merge comes." David chuckled. "But you can certainly try your best to win. I'm not sure about the whole 'tribal chieftess' thing though."
"It makes sense. Joseph is a tribal chief, and the wife is usually the chieftess," Ilyria shrugged. "At least, from research."
"I like it!" Byron replied. "The two heads of the dinner table, both winners and both side by side with each other!"
Lucille blushed a bit. "If our relationship even lasts that long."
"Lucille, stop talking negatively like that. I want you and Joseph to marry one day. I mean, you both caught the bouquet and garter at Antonio's wedding to Christina," Ilyria said.
"Oh yeah…" Lucille blushed, smiling softly. "I remember."
"The point is, don't worry about it, just do your best and things will work out as they should!" David assured her.
"Okay. Thank you guys," Lucille smiled.
"We're teammates. Of course we'll be here for you," Ilyria smiled back.
The four of them didn't notice as Spikke and Dianne walking past them, carrying a whole bunch of wood that they managed to get to their campsite.
Brad, Matthew and Mackenzie (Oblivious Owls)
The twins were making easy work on putting the pegs down for the first tent. "I'm glad we each have our own tent," Mackenzie said. "Yeah, it means more work, but at least there won't be any drama involved with sharing tents."
"Even then, these tents look like they can hold two people, at most." Brad noted, observing the inside of his tent. "Let's hope something doesn't happen where we need to double up, though."
"Chris said that everyone gets their own tent," Matthew said. "He had Alexis double check all of the supplies."
"I'm just saying, they can hold two people if needed." Brad sighed. "Anyway, everyone's tents are set up, so all we need to do now is wait until everyone gets back."
"That sounds fair to me," Mackenzie nodded, sitting on a log, crossing her legs.
Brittany and Fernando (Revolting Raccoons)
"Finally. We've got the last tent up." Brittany wiped the sweat from her forehead. "I guess all we have to do now is wait."
"Thankfully." Fernando sighed. "I've never put up a tent like that before."
"Oh yeah, because of your 'model hands' right?" Brittany smirked. "You said your agent doesn't want you to overwork yourself."
"Correct. I have an image that I need to maintain." Fernando shrugged. "Though, I must admit, being out here does give me a few ideas for a new photo shoot. 'The Rugged Wildman', what do you think?"
Brittany sniggerd a bit. "That works. Do you have anything in mind for some steamy photoshoots with Mackenzie?"
"Oh, you know about our chats?"
"Yeah," the mob boss nodded. "I actually ship you two."
"Is that so? Hmm, I see… Well, even so I don't believe I know her well enough for something like that. Besides, that's not the type of model I am. I do have standards for my audience!"
"It doesn't hurt to do something different every once in a while," Brittany let out. "My stepmother designed a few of your suits for some of your photoshoots."
"Really? Well, be sure to send her my regards. Her work is immaculate. But I think I'm fine continuing on with the work I have now for the short time left I have with it."
"Fair enough." Brittany nodded.
Lin and Tatiana (Revolting Raccoons and Oblivious Owls)
The two girls had found themselves at the very same inlet of the river close to the campsites. Lin silently gathered water into one of her team's flasks, taking in the sounds of nature until Tatiana spoke up.
"So how long have you and Brad had your nightly chess games?" She asked.
"Not too long, only twice."
"So it's safe to say you know of my alliance with him and Lila?"
"Yup, although in fairness, I think most of the others do as well. I mean you're not exactly secret about it. Although most of the people on the show right now aren't super-geniuses. They're not idiots by any means, but not the sharpest tools in the shed."
"Yes, some do seem to jump to conclusions or they don't think all that critically about everything that goes on both in the game and in the world around them. But you and I both know that none of them are to be taken lightly. They wouldn't have made it this far, after all."
"Especially since some of them went pretty far last season." Lin huffed, standing up and smirking at Tatiana, who finished gathering water and also stood up. The sheer difference in height between the two was rather staggering, with Tatiana being about as tall as Walter.
"True, especially since you're one of them." Tatiana replied, returning the grin for a moment before it faded into a serious frown. "Another being Brittany."
"Speaking of which, Brad tells me that you wanted to toy with her a bit, which is why you three opted to send Juliette home instead."
"That's right. Nobody gets to threaten me and get away with it. I intend to break her before this game is done."
"Lucille as well? You did talk to Joseph in the last challenge and she's seriously hung up on that."
"Hehe, I did talk to him, but I'm not interested in him. I don't see myself having anything to do with him on a romantic level. Maybe Brad told you that already. But Lucille and Brittany think I do. I didn't plan on using that against them, but if Brittany wants to play tough, then I can do the same. I've been told that you were roped into being part of their alliance, too?"
"Yeah, begrudgingly." Lin rolled her eyes. "But I won't act as a mole for you. I'm already dealing with enough spy games as is with work."
"I can only imagine. I wasn't planning on asking you anyway. Speaking of which, I'm surprised Ilyria hasn't had you bugged or something so that she can listen in on us." Tatiana giggled.
"Hah, I wouldn't be surprised if our communicators had a feature like that but she and I aren't the ones that deal with our gadgets. If they do then I can almost guarantee Terra would do something about that."
"I'm still surprised you and her became best friends."
"Tell me about it." Lin shook her head. "Anyway, we should probably head back to our camps. I guess I'll see you later."
(Nightfall) (Both Teams)
The stars would be shining in the sky as the campfires would be lit.
"Nice, we've got s'mores kits to enjoy after eating our fish," Lucille cheered.
"Sweet! Literally!" Eddy replied.
"I'm excited to have s'mores again," Ilyria smiled.
"Hmm, it's been a really long time since I had these. At least ones that were homemade." Lin mused.
"Really now?" Lucille looked over at Lin.
"Yeah, last time was when I was about six years old. My dad took me after a particularly rough day with my mom."
"Wait, we also got s'mores during the times we went to the elimination ceremony last season," Brittany remembered. "Man, Alexis was good at making them."
"Yes, Alexis is certainly talented in the culinary arts. Still, I'm surprised I've never tried s'mores until coming to this show."
"They're the best," Ilyria smirked. "Especially with chocolate sauce drizzled on top afterwards."
Lucille yawned a bit after eating her s'more. "Well, I think I'm gonna hit the hay now."
"You sure?" Eddy asked. "I'm sure some of us wanted to tell a few scary stories or something."
"No thanks," Lucille insisted.
"Oh well, more stories for us then." Tracy shrugged before looking to Ilyria and Lin. "Personally I want to hear some spy stories you two have!"
"Well, there was the 'Jam King'," Ilyria smirked a bit.
"Ugh, no." Lin grimaced. "I don't need any memories of being sticky. Anyway, my jobs aren't all that interesting. I don't think anyone wants to hear about my mission to Alaska."
"Wasn't that super cold?" Mackenzie asked.
"Yeah. Thankfully the guys at H.A.P. gave me a specialized suit and injections that basically made my body ignore it. It was during a blizzard so going in by air was impossible, so I had to sneak in via submarine and then swim my way there to avoid their radar."
"I think Ilyria said you went on the mission with someone named Carlos, right?" Matthew asked.
"He actually was the one who originally took that mission, but he was discovered and kept prisoner. My job was to get him out and then work with him to shut down the operation."
"She went in practically naked, too." Ilyria added. "...By that I mean she didn't have any weapons on her, not that she literally went there naked… but after the mission, Lightning, Carlos's dog gave her a bunch of kisses for saving his master."
"He's just lucky I like dogs." Lin shrugged, smiling to herself. "Still, that mission did probably give me my greatest personal achievement as a stealth operative, so there's that."
"I'm guessing you were also upset when Demetrius got parole?" Dianne frowned.
"Beyond pissed," Ilyria growled. "Luckily, Terra's keeping an eye on him, as she's his parole officer."
"I still have no idea how she's keeping watch over him while also being my communications specialist and apparently helping out with R&D all at once."
"R&D?" Mackenzie asked, confused.
"Research and Development." Ilyria answered. "They're basically our department that looks up anything we're unsure about and develops all of our weapons and equipment."
"Ah, that makes sense," Dianne replied. "What other missions have you gone on?"
"Dealing with a cursed pharaoh who actually possessed Carlos, and nearly made Lin his Egyptian queen," Ilyria smirked.
"Ilyria's a member of the team that deals with more supernatural threats. I get deployed with her whenever she may need backup. Usually I get sent on the more 'down to earth' jobs that don't really require much action… Unless it requires action. When it comes to the job Ilyria's talking about, it's still a really weird mission to think about."
"Okay, you HAVE to tell us about the mission," Dianne giggled.
"Well, there was this crown that nearly brainwashed Lin into Carlos's obedient queen," Ilyria grinned. "You must have been so worried seeing him dressed like a pharoah, right Lin?"
"A lot of that mission is fuzzy to me, admittedly. Sorry." Lin shrugged. "But I do remember that it nearly worked. That crown was on my head for a few seconds before Ilyria blasted it, breaking the crown. I blacked out after that."
"Luckily, Alexander and Cleo were able to dispel the pharaoh's ghost, and destroy it for good," Ilyria smirked.
"They're those two good vampires, right?" Matthew asked, as the British girl nodded.
"Correct."
"Still, jobs like those are part of the reason why I kind of prefer my position as a stealth operative. Ilyria can deal with the crazy stuff. And, honestly, as much as that mission bored me, the one in Alaska probably had some of my most memorable moments."
"The supernatural can be weird, but it's fun," Ilyria smirked.
"Maybe. But seeing an elevator that can hold around 650 pounds have its weight limit alarm go off when it looks like it's just me on it is something that makes me laugh more than it should." Lin smirked.
"650 pounds?" Brad asked, raising an eyebrow. "No offense but don't you weigh barely around 100?"
"Yeah, and that's the crazy part!" The small girl giggled. "It turns out that the elevator had four grown men in it wearing stealth camo that made them look completely invisible. They tried to ambush me but I managed to fight them off. Still, can you imagine me setting off an alarm like that? 'The 600 pound shrimp.'"
"I can't," Brittany let out.
"Neither can I. But hey, when you've got backup like Carlos and Terra keeping track of the mission data, it turned out to be a pretty simple mission."
Lucille smiled a bit. "Okay, now I'm really going to hit the hay. Goodnight everyone." She disappeared into her tent, zipping it up.
"We should probably get to sleep as well." Mackenzie said. "We have to get up early so we can get to the hotel in the morning."
"Yeah, all of us should probably head to bed, too." Tatiana said, getting up with a stretch.
"It was ever-so nice for all of us to talk like this." Lila piped up.
"Goodnight, and please ever-so-stop with that wording," Brittany grumbled, going into her tent, and zipping it up. As everyone retreated to their tents, Lila didn't seem to shrink away at Brittany's response, but instead huffed and stormed to her tent…
The next morning…
The Raccoons would wake up, and notice that the Owls weren't there. Their campsite had been cleaned up.
"Bloody hell, I think we overslept," Ilyria groaned.
"No… no I don't think it's that we overslept." Lin said, turning to her coworker. "I think it's because they have someone on their team that's used to waking up earlier than even us."
"Tracy." Ilyria groaned again.
"Man, that girl's tough…" Eddy grumbled.
"You're telling me…" Dante added as he hurried to put his tent away. Lucille would also help to put her tent away.
The rest of the Raccoons would also put their tents and equipment away before running back to the finish line Chris designated. Unfortunately, they would be too late, as they saw the Owls enjoying breakfast cooked by Alexis.
"Ooh, tough luck, Raccoons. You guys lost," Chris smirked. "See you at elimination."
"Damn it," Ilyria grumbled. "We lost, again."
"I guess now we should think of what to do for our votes…" Dante said, rubbing the back of his neck nervously.
"Yeah…who should we send home?" Lucille gulped.
"Let's… Let's wait until a bit later to make our choice and talk about it. I think we're all a bit too frustrated to think clearly right now." David sighed.
"Sounds good," Lucille nodded a bit.
"I still have breakfast available," Alexis said. "Come on and enjoy."
"Well, you know what they say." Eddy shrugged. "If you can't beat 'em, eat 'em! Or something like that."
"It's if you can't beat them, join them," Dianne let out simply, giggling a bit. "Come sit next to me, Eddy."
Revolting Raccoons (Later that Day)
"I don't know who I'm gonna vote for," Lucille sighed.
"Me neither," Brittany replied.
"Perhaps we just go with who we think should get the boot? This time, those Owls aren't voting, so there's no need for them to try and tamper with the votes again," Byron said. Lin looked down a bit, the knowledge of what happened coming back to her.
"I still haven't been able to figure out why Juliette was sent home, despite none of us voting for her," Ilyria let out.
"Do you think we'll ever find out?" Dante asked.
"I hope. One day," Ilyria said.
"Thanks for asking me to go to the spa." The Raccoons heard Tracy say as she walked into the lobby with Lila, Brad and Tatiana with her. The blonde's eyes went over to Brad with a bit of concern. "Are you sure you're ok with joining us? I mean you're the only guy here and I don't think guys are into spas."
"Eh, I figured I'd give it a try. Besides, more men go to spas than you might expect. I'm sure Fernando's one of them." The hatted boy replied.
"Yeah, you're probably right." Tracy replied before noticing the Raccoons and giving them a friendly wave.
Lucille would be the only one to wave back, though not without giving Tatiana a nasty glare. The redhead met the glare with a nonchalant, unimpressed look back at both her and Brittany.
Brittany gave the tall red haired a growl, clenching her teeth.
"Urgh, why is this always so hard?!" Eddy grumbled leaning back into his chair.
"It's Total Drama. It's usually hard." Lucille turned to Eddy. "So, back to the vote…"
"Okay, Raccoons, it's time to vote," Alexis let out, approaching them.
"Come on, team," Ilyria sighed. "Let's go and get this vote over with."
*Elimination Ceremony* (Revolting Raccoons)
"Wow, you guys suck," Chris taunted, seeing the Raccoons sitting in front of him.
"Just get on with it, McLean," Brittany snapped.
"Fine, fine, you all know how this works by now."
"Of course," Brittany grumbled. "Let's go and vote."
*Voting Confessionals* (Revolting Raccoons)
Ilyria: "This is always so tough. I don't want to send home my friends, but I still think that Eddy might be a bit dangerous. So I'm gonna vote for him."
*static*
Brittany: "Eddy may be strong, but out of the other newbies, he's the one I trust the least. So long, Edward."
*static*
Lucille: "I'm sorry, Fernando, but my vote's for you."
*static*
Byron: "Fernando. I still think he might be a heartbreaker."
*static*
Lin: "After talking to Tatiana and Brad, and seeing everything that's going on right now, I honestly don't know what to do or who to vote for. I think 'stuck' might be the word I'm looking for, but even then I'm not certain. I think I just have to wait it out and see how things turn out. For now, I think I'll take the safe option and vote for Fernando."
*static*
David: "I'm not sure how I feel about Ilyria and Byron calling Lucille a 'tribal chieftess', considering how serious Joseph's side of the family can be with their Samoan customs. But I still think things will work out for the best with them. I think for now I should probably vote for Fernando. I think Eddy could be a threat later on, but I think he's funny so I'll keep him around."
*static*
Fernando: "I'm still not quite sure how I managed to make it this far, but I suppose for now I can vote for… Byron? Yeah, I'll vote for him. It's not likely that he'll leave anyway so I don't have an issue with voting for someone at random. Meh." He shrugged.
*static*
Eddy: "We're gettin' to the point where who we vote off matters. I kinda want to vote out Brittany or Ilyria 'cause they're both tough. Lin, too, plus she's a stealth agent so she's really sneaky. I've been thinking about every option ever since we lost but I gotta pick someone so… Argh, man this is hard! I can't stay here forever, so I guess I'll go with the easy vote and pick Fernando."
*static*
Dante: "Even though I've forgiven him for last season, I kinda still want to vote for Fernando. Just to get that out of my system. I mean, what are the chances he'd actually be voted out tonight?"

*End Voting Confessionals*
"You've made your decisions. Tonight's immunity item will be a keychain of Saskatchewan's flag," Chris said, as Alexis brought forth a plate of 8 keychains. Unknown to them, Mackenzie would be watching from afar. "The first keychain goes to…David!"
The photographer gave a silent sigh of relief when he stood up to collect his keychain.
"Next up is Lucille!"
"Phew," the violinist let out, standing up to get her keychain.
"Dante!"
The taller boy smiled to himself and let out a sigh of relief.
"Brittany!"
"As expected," Brittany smirked, getting her keychain.
"Lin!"
"Figured as much." The shorter girl remarked.
"Ilyria!"
"Thank goodness," the spy let out.
Byron would be shocked. "Wait, I got votes? How? I didn't do anything wrong!"
"You can relax, Byron, because you only got one vote, so you're safe," Chris said, tossing him the keychain.
The blogger caught it, still shocked.
Only Eddy and Fernando remained, with one keychain left on the plate.
"Gentlemen. This is the final keychain of the night," Chris began. "And it goes to…

…Eddy!"
"Oh no…" Mackenzie let out quietly.
"Ah, well, I suppose I should have seen this coming." Fernando said, getting up from his seat.
"Go ahead and pack up your stuff, and when you're ready, you can board the Bus of Losers," Chris said. "The rest of you, you're dismissed."
"I still don't get who voted for me," Byron let out, glancing over at his team.
Mackenzie and Fernando
The YouTuber frowned as she noticed Fernando walking towards the bus away from the hotel with his luggage in hand.
"I guess this is goodbye…"
"I suppose it is. I wish you the best of luck in the game going forward, my dear."
"Before you go…" Mackenzie began. "I wanted to give you a parting gift." With that, she reached up, and gave him a quick peck on the lips, before pulling away, her cheeks pink.
"Prince and the Pauper!" Fernando yelped.
Mackenzie giggled. "You're funny."
"I'll be rooting for you." Fernando smiled as the bus' doors closed.
Mackenzie would watch as the bus drove off…
Chris smirked as he glanced at the cameras. "And so, we're down to 16! Next time, it'll be another episode of the Aftermath, so stay tuned for that! See you next time, on Total! Drama! CANADIAN TRAVELS!"

Allureon: Who knows, there might also be more surprises in store.
LaViolaViolaRosa: But that's all for now, thanks for reading, and we'll see you in the next update!
