We don't own Total Drama, only our OC's.
Revolting Raccoons: Lin, Lucille, David, Ilyria, Byron, Brittany, and Dante
Oblivious Owls: Lila, Tracy, Brad, Dianne, Matthew, Mackenzie, and Tatiana
"Last time on Total Drama Canadian Travels," Chris began the famous recap.
"We went to Halifax, as the two teams competed in a challenge where they had to guess people who were in disguise, from former contestants, to other special guests." Alexis said. "Oh, man, wasn't Demetrius's costume so hilarious?"
"Yeah, yeah, it was," Chef huffed. "The Raccoons started off pretty well, but the Owls caught up easily, and in the end, they won the challenge, and even got to send home one of the Raccoons. While Brad, Tatiana and Lila wanted to send Brittany home, the rest of the team disagreed, and decided to send Eddy home."
"But now, 14 remain, and we're two eliminations away from the halfway point! Who'll be the next to board the Bus of Losers? Find out, on this episode of…Total! Drama! CANADIAN TRAVELS!" Chris announced.
Dear Mom and Dad I'm doing fine,
You guys are on my mind.
You asked me what I wanted to be
and now I think the answer is plain to see,
I wanna be famous.
I wanna live close to the sun,
Go pack your bags, 'cause I've already won,
Everything to prove, nothing in my way
I'll get there one day.
Cause, I wanna be famous!
Na na na na na na na na na na na na na na na!
I wanna be, I wanna be, I wanna be famous
Na na na na na na na na na na na na na na na! (as can be heard in the background)
I wanna be, I wanna be, I wanna be famous
(Whistling in tune)
Episode 14: The Blind Leading the Blind
"Good morning contestants! Pack your bags, because we're gonna head over to Charlottetown, PEI for the next challenge!" Chris announced on the loudspeaker. "McLean out!"
Lucille and Lin (Revolting Raccoons)
"It feels like it's been ages, despite the fact that we've been traveling a lot," Lucille groaned. "I mean, we go through the time changes when we enter a different province, since some of them aren't in the same time zone."
"That's how I felt starting work, eventually you get used to it."
"Do you enjoy working with Ilyria?" Lucille asked. "I mean, considering you sometimes have to go up against crazy bad guys."
"It has its upsides and downsides, like every job does." Lin shrugged.
Lucille was about to open her mouth, when Ilyria knocked on the door, a worried look in her face. "Lin! Emergency at H.A.P.!"
Immediately, the smaller girl hurried over to the door and swung it open.
"Carlos just messaged me. There's been a breakout at the security prison," Ilyria hurried into the room.
"I'll leave you two to talk," Lucille would head into the bathroom to wash up.
"The Ortega crime family has escaped from our custody," Ilyria grumbled. "Along with my ex-boyfriend, Jordan."
"Them again?"
"Yup. They're more evil than Demetrius, especially those twins of theirs, Lusamine and Darryl. Dunya's actually an ex of Chris McLean, funnily enough."
"You'd think that after he dated Blaineley for a while he'd steer clear of toxic women."
"Tell me about it," Ilyria grumbled. "Alexei and the others are gonna try and deal with this while we're on the show, but Carlos said we've got to keep a look out, just in case they're around…"
"I'll call Terra and tell her to get some intel on where they are."
"That sounds good. Keep me posted," Ilyria said. "I'll see you down at breakfast." With that, the British girl left the room, as Lucille walked back in, having washed her face, and applied a bit of light makeup.
"Is everything okay?"
"About as okay as things can be, honestly." Lin replied.
Lucille raised an eyebrow, before closing her suitcase. "Well, let's head down to breakfast."
Byron (Revolting Raccoons)
Byron woke up, and packed his things. He was alone in his room, and while he was okay, he did miss Eddy. With a sigh, he washed up, and headed down to the lobby with his things in hand.
Brad and Matthew (Oblivious Owls)
"Good morning," Matthew would have his things already packed. "I'm waiting for you, so we can go down to the lobby together."
Brad simply sat up from his bed and ran a hand through his hair in silence before getting up and putting his hat on.
"Gimme a minute…" He said groggily.
"Okay, grumpy pants," Matthew crossed his arms.
*Confessional*
Brad: "I really don't get these people. One second, they want me gone, the next it's like we're friends."
*End Confessional*
David and Dante (Revolting Raccoons)
"Well, another day, another dollar." David said, stretching as he finished packing up. "You ready?"
"Yeah, I guess." Dante replied. "You sure you're doing alright? I mean, there's the issue going on with your family."
"True. But, honestly, I'm not too worried about it. I mean when it comes to myself, I wouldn't want to be in Joseph's shoes in terms of having the elders be on my case and all. But at the same time I do hope things work out for him and Lucille. She's actually the one I'm most worried about."
"What makes you say that?"
"I'm not positive, but there's this pit in my stomach that I feel every time this topic comes up because I start thinking about what might happen if those two really do break up. I mean, how would you feel if things with you and Abigail went south?"
"Gee, I guess I never really thought of it that way. Granted, I'm kind of dealing with my own anxieties right now."
"Hey, try not to worry about that." David said, giving the boy a reassuring smile and pat on the back. "Just make sure you keep up with your medication and you'll be fine. As for me, I'll try to keep things optimistic as well!"
Dianne, Tracy, and Tatiana (Oblivious Owls)
Dianne yawned as she closed her suitcase. "Ready, girls? I know I am."
"About as ready as I'll ever be." Tatiana sighed as she finished combing her hair. "Here's hoping Tracy doesn't clean out half of the breakfast… Again…"
"You can't blame a girl for being very hungry."
"There's hungry, and then there's having a stomach about four times the normal size. It's almost scary how much she can eat."
"But I actually find it impressive," Dianne said. "If there is an eating challenge, she'll be able to win it for sure."
"Perhaps. But don't forget, we're not too far off from the merge. You'll have to start looking out for yourself soon."
"I know," Dianne let out. "I know that. But let's head down to the lobby."
Ilyria and Brittany
The spy quickly headed back to her room, where the mob boss was waiting. "You took off in a hurry."
"Sorry, I had to talk with Lin. Emergency with work."
"Figures," the mob boss scoffed.
"Well, when a breakout happens, then you have to be serious."
"I thought your prison had high security?"
"Yes, but sometimes, criminals outsmart the guards."
"Damn."
"Yes. But I digress. Let's go down to the lobby." Ilyria said, closing her suitcase.
"I'm with you."
The two left their room.
Lobby (Both Teams)
Alexis had prepared a five-star breakfast. "Our flight's not until the afternoon, but we'll be going to the airport after breakfast, so don't take too long," she warned.
Brittany would eat an omelette, which had tomatoes, cheese, onions, and bacon. She would then notice Lin sitting with Brad, Tatiana, and Lila again. "Really? Again?"
"What do you-oh…." Lucille let out. "This is bad…"
"Yeah, but I'm not gonna complain. Lin's allowed to have other friends," Ilyria said.
"Yeah, that's true," Brittany huffed. "But I still don't trust them all, especially Lie-la."
"You really just do not like that girl, do you." Dante commented.
"She's like a certain liar in that Miraculous Ladybug show my stepsisters are obsessed with," Brittany grumbled.
"Now that I look at her, she does look like that girl. Except for the red hair," Lucille said.
"Are you sure you two aren't overblowing your dislike of her?" Dante asked. "I mean, sure, she has this strangely doll-like aura about her but is she really that bad?"
"She's just too…perfect…" Brittany gagged.
"I don't know if I would say I hate her." David added. "But… well just look at her! Perfect skin, pretty eyes, hair that's just the right shade of red without it looking fake. Her fashion sense is cute, but modest, and she tries to act sweet and friendly towards everyone. It all just seems so… fake. At least that's how I feel. Honestly, with how chummy Lin is getting with her and those other two, I'm wondering if we should vote her off if we lose again."
"But she's one of the toughest people we have on the team." Dante remarked. "She did make it to third place last season, after all."
"Lin is very useful. I don't want to vote her off," Lucille said. "We may need her if we have tougher challenges ahead."
"Lucille's got a point," Brittany nodded. "We may need someone as tough as her when we hit the merge."
"Well, one thing's for sure. Things are going to be really interesting going forward." Dante sighed.
Lucille gave a nod, as she ate her oatmeal; which would have some strawberries, and blueberries topped on it.
Meanwhile, with the Owls, Matthew would be eating his oatmeal, while glancing over at Alexis every so often. His cheeks turned pink with embarrassment.
"Hey."
Matthew looked up to see Jimmy of the Midnight Men standing over him with a plate of waffles.
"Oh…hi? Can I help you?" Matthew asked.
"No, but I think I can help you." He replied. "You like Alexis, and it's sort of obvious. But you haven't made a move yet, so do it."
"But how? I'm so nervous she'll turn me down," Matthew let out.
"What do you think'll happen if you don't make a move?" The intern asked. "I'll tell you. You're going to end up a nervous wreck because you'll be too busy wondering what she'll say or do and it'll mess you up to the point where it could cost you both the game and your chance to get with her."
"Okay…I guess I can try…" Matthew let out. He would see a flower shop that opened up, and would buy some flowers, more particular; a bouquet of tulips. He would then approach Alexis, and clear his throat.
"Oh!" Alexis turned. "Hi, Matthew."
"Hey," Matthew blushed. "These are for you," he said, holding out the flowers.
"Oh my goodness, this is so sweet of you," Alexis gushed, taking the flowers. "Thank you."
"You're welcome, I-" Matthew began, before Chris interrupted him.
"Hey buddy, get back to your table, we're almost ready to leave."
Matthew frowned, but nodded. "Okay." He would head back to his table, leaving Alexis a bit confused with a hint of a blush on her face.
"Nice guy, are you gonna keep the flowers?" Charlene asked, vigorously tapping on the table while tapping her foot. One hand in her pocket as she appeared to be holding onto something.
"Yeah, I will," Alexis nodded. "I love tulips. What are you holding onto?"
Wordlessly, Charlene pulled out a pink lighter and clicked it repeatedly, showing that it was empty of lighter fluid.
"Of course," Alexis sighed. "You do know that smoking is bad for you."
"Ugh, yes, Mom! I know it's bad for me! But it's been two weeks since I've had one and I'm dyin' over here!"
"I'm not your mom…" Alexis groaned. "You need help to quit smoking."
"What I need is a smoke!" The firebug grumbled.
"Hey!" Roderick called out. "We're heading out now, let's get moving!"
Alexis stood up, and would start walking, as would the contestants. They would climb aboard the bus, and head over to the airport; where they would check in, and head to the gate. The first flight would be from Halifax to Toronto, the second flight would be from Toronto to Ottawa, and the third flight would be from Ottawa to Charlottetown. They landed in Charlottetown around 10:02PM.
"Finally," Brittany grumbled.
"Well, we're gonna head to the hotel," Alexis said, still holding onto the tulips. "The challenge will take place in the morning. Room pairings are as follows: Byron and David, you're in one room. Brittany and Lucille, you're in another room. Dante, Ilyria, and Lin, you're in the third room for your team. Your rooms are located on the fourth floor. As for the Owls, Brad and Dianne, you're in one room, Tracy, Tatiana, and Matthew, you're in the second room, Lila and Mackenzie, you're in the third room. Your rooms are located on the third floor."
"Thank god Alexis is back on the show," Ilyria said. "If she wasn't, then Chris might have made us start the challenge at night. Hell, he wouldn't let us sleep."
"Yeah, and if there's anything we all need on this show, it's sleep." Dante nodded.
The hotel that they headed to would be called: "The Cavendish Motel". Chris would look over at the interns. "You guys will have to pay for your own rooms."
"Oh, you're lucky we've made good money on our album, McLean!" Kevin growled as he went to pay for the band and Alexis.
"Oh, come on!" Alexis groaned. "I'd thought I'd be rooming with my uncle."
"Sorry, hun, but you and I both know I need my space." Chef shrugged, before giving his niece a coy smirk. "Unless you want to help me cut my toenails?"
"Ew, no thank you," Alexis gagged. "You're ridiculous, uncle."
"I'm ready to get some sleep," Brittany grumbled, yawning.
"Before Chef can put any more disturbing images in my head, I expect you all here in the lobby directly after breakfast." Chris explained.
"Whatever, McLean," Brittany grumbled, grabbing her room key, and gesturing to Lucille to follow her.
Byron would grin at David. "We're rooming together, so let's go." He took the room key from a staff member. "Ready to go?"
"Yeah, I'm about ready to pass out. I'm exhausted!"
Byron chuckled, smiling. "So am I."
"Ready to head to our room, Dante?" Ilyria looked at the taller boy.
"Yeah. I just hope you and Lin don't mind dorming with me."
"You guys go on. I'll catch up with you in a bit." Lin called out, taking a seat in the lobby.
"Suit yourself," Ilyria shrugged. "Just knock when you come up, as we only have one room key."
"Same goes for you, Dianne." Brad said. "I'll be up a bit late, so I'll knock when I'm there."
"Sounds good," Dianne nodded, taking the room key. "I'll read while I wait for you. Try not to stay up too late."
The rest of the contestants would head up, leaving Brad, Lila, and Lin in the lobby, where they would play their usual games of chess for the night. It would last until about 1AM and when they finally finished, Lila was already fast asleep. Brad managed to lift the girl up with surprising ease while somehow not waking her up.
"I'll take her back to her room. Hopefully Ilyria won't be too pissed about you getting back so late."
"Don't worry about her. I just hope your team is ok with you getting back late and with Lila already passed out."
"Hah, well they'll just have to deal with it!" Brad replied, the two shared a laugh and looked into each other's eyes for a moment in silence before blushing and turning away. "I'll, ahem, I'll see you in the morning."
"Y-Yeah…"
The next morning… (Both Teams)
"Good morning, everyone!" Alexis chirped. "It's oatmeal for breakfast!"
"Yum!" Dianne exclaimed.
"Well it definitely beats Chef serving gruel." Tatiana commented.
They would all eat breakfast, and enjoy it. Then, Chris grinned. "Okay, contestants! Are you ready for today's challenge?!"
"As ready as any of us can be, I guess." Tracy shrugged.
"Today's challenge will be an obstacle course, but you'll be blindfolded!" Chris exclaimed.
"Oh man, that's gonna be difficult," Lucille shivered. "I really hope we can win this challenge."
"I know we will," Brittany smirked. "We've got the strongest members on our team."
"What makes you so sure?" Dante asked.
"I have a feeling," Brittany replied. "Just trust me."
"Brittany's right," Lucille let out. "We just have to remain positive."
"First up will be a maze!" Chris announced. "Let's go!"
Maze
"Okay, here's how this will work. Two people will go through the maze, blindfolded. Two more people will lead that teammate through the maze, by standing on a high perch that will see the entire maze. A point will be rewarded to the team who can get to the end of the maze. Be aware, there are some tricks involved."
"Of course there's tricks," Ilyria sighed, looking at her team. "Who wants to go through the maze?"
"I'll go," Lucille said.
"Alright, be careful," Ilyria nodded. "Who wants to lead Lucille through the maze?"
"I can," Brittany smirked.
"Okay then," the British spy nodded. "Don't let us down, you two."
"I think I'll go as well." Tatiana added. "Lila, do you mind leading me?"
"M-Me? Um, of course!"
"Will our chosen racers please put on the blindfolds?" Chris asked, holding out two blindfolds, both with their respective team's logo on it.
Lucille and Tatiana would slip the blindfold over their eyes as the stood in front of the gate to the maze.
"And….GO!" Chris shouted, blowing an air horn.
"Lucile, you go left, right, right, left!" Brittany shouted.
"On it!" Lucille nodded.
"Ok, Tati, go-"
"I don't need any help, Lila. I can figure out the layout easily." The taller redhead assured.
"If you don't accept Lila's help, then if your team loses, you'll automatically get a vote against you at the elimination ceremony!" Chris warned. "Do you really want that?"
"That's fine. I'm confident that my team will be able to win anyway." Tatiana nodded, raising her left hand and positioning her fingers as if she was going to snap them. As she clicked her fingers, the redhead listened intently as the sound reverberated throughout the halls of the maze for a moment. As the sound finally died down, Tatiana casually walked through the maze and caught up with Lucille.
"Wha-?! How did she do that?!" Lila gasped.
Brittany growled at this. "Don't let this b*tch get to you, Lucille!"
"What do you want?" Lucille demanded of Tatiana. "Don't get in my way!"
"I'm just trying to get through the maze, the same as you are." Tatiana replied, strolling alongside her. "You know this is just going to end badly for you, right?"
"You're wrong," Lucille spat.
"No, I'm spot on, actually. My strategy is foolproof; one of the books I've brought with me in the game and that I've been reading throughout my time is about the anatomy of bats and how they use echolocation to see without their eyes. It definitely wasn't easy, but with all the time we've spent not doing challenges and relaxing in the hotel, I've been training myself to not need my eyes just in case I was ever put in a scenario like this." Tatiana explained before grinning to herself. "Besides, I have a certain someone I want to impress."
Lucille would clench her fists. "Get out of my way. He's mine, you slut."
The bookworm raised an eyebrow in intrigue. "I think you may be misunderstanding me, but who am I to correct my enemy when they're making a mistake. In regards to Joseph though, what I said before is still true. You just don't get him."
Lucille rolled her eyes underneath her blindfold, pushing past Tatiana, and making it to the person who would give the riddle, though making it to the end just a second after Tatiana finished.
Roderick would be the one who would give the riddle.
"Ladies, welcome. Are you ready for your riddle?"
"Sure, lay it on me." Tatiana shrugged. From where the guides stood, Lila pouted as she noticed Roderick standing with her teammate.
"Ohhh, I wish it was me down there!" She huffed.
"Oh?" Brittany smirked. "Why is that, little-miss-perfect?"
"Th-That's none of your concern!"
Brittany chuckled. "If you say so, Lie-la. If you truly say so."
"Alright ladies, here we go; 'I tolerate the moon and stars, I can't abide the sun, banish me with torch light and you see me turn and run.'"
"Vampire," Lucille answered.
"Pfft, Hahahaha!" Tatiana laughed as even Roderick held back a chuckle. "You couldn't be more wrong! The answer is darkness!"
"Yeah, the tall girl's got it. It's darkness." Roderick confirmed.
"Damn it," Lucille cursed.
"And that's a point for the Owls!" Chris announced. "Our next part of the challenge will have two more members of the teams. Whoever is blindfolded will be tasked with finding a switch that will turn off our special device. The person guiding them will help them find it while dealing with the obstacles in the way."
"What sort of obstacles?" Lin asked.
"Oh, nothing much, just some extra party supplies Terra loaned us."
"If it's a party cannon, then she's ridiculous," Ilyria grumbled.
"Well, if it's just party stuff then it can't be that bad, right?" David asked.
"I just had to open my big mouth…" The photographer sighed. "Sorry Ilyria!"
Ilyria and Tracy were strapped to wooden poles, unable to move as a large machine attached to a cannon was aimed right at them. It was difficult to see, but the machine appeared to have a variety of different foods and materials such as pies, fruits and sports balls inside of it. Byron and Mackenzie stood in front of a table that had a massive buffet of various foods on it alongside many other random objects such as plastic utensils, stuffed dolls, various clothes and more sports balls.
"Bloody hell!" Ilyria screeched. "Why must you do this to me, Terra…"
"Okay, maybe I explained it a bit strangely before." Chris began. "But Ilyria and Tracy will have to guide their teammates and tell them where to search for the remote to turn off the cannon. BUT, there are also various traps within the assortment of junk that can hamper their ability to hear you, so be careful!"
Byron took a deep breath, the blindfold on him. "Okay. Let's do this."
Mackenzie trembled a bit, but nodded. "I'm ready, Tracy!"
"GO!" Chris blew the air horn.
"Byron, look in the key lime pie!"
"Got it," the blogger would carefully walk over to one of the pies, and begin to search in it. He screamed as a mouse trap attached to his hand.
"Ooh, that's gotta hurt!" Chris laughed.
Mackenzie winced a bit hearing Byron scream in pain. As Byron shook his hand to ease the pain, a soft click was heard. Suddenly, the cannons both fired a pie at the two tied up girls. Ilyria gasped a bit before the pie hit her while Tracy looked a bit excited at the sight of the sudden treat.
"Bloody hell!" Ilyria screeched.
"Mmm, does Terra bake these herself?" Tracy asked. "I gotta say, this is fantastic!"
Ilyria grumbled again.
"Okay, Tracy, it's your turn to have Mackenzie choose something!" Chris announced.
"Um, okay. Kenzie, step a little bit to your left. There's a bowl of spaghetti there with a shirt tossed on top of it, can you search in there?"
"Yeah, I can," Mackenzie nodded, stepping over to the bowl of spaghetti, and removing the shirt so she could look in it. However, she would quickly pull her hand back, as green slime would be on her right hand. "ICK!"
This time, the cannons would fire green slime at the two tied up girls. Despite showing clear discomfort, Ilyria merely grumbled as she was blasted by the slime, Tracy however spit out some of the substance as it had gotten some of it in her mouth before sticking out her tongue in disgust,
"Ugh, gross!" She gagged.
"Sorry!" Mackenzie winced.
"Okay, Ilyria, it's your turn," Chris said.
"Byron, take four steps forward, and one step backwards, towards the fruit salad," Ilyria instructed.
"Okay…" Byron let out. He searched in the fruit salad, confused when he pulled out a bottle of seltzer water that appeared to have some kind of thread attached to the bottom of the bottle.
"Uh-oh…" Both tied up girls said simultaneously before getting blasted by a wave of seltzer water.
"Sorry, Ilyria!" Byron winced.
"No biggie, it's grape. I like that," the spy shrugged.
"Plus it did get the taste of that slime out of my mou- hic!" Tracy said before letting out a hiccup.
"Oh dear, looks like Tracy's got the hiccups!" Chris smirked.
"Oh man…" The country girl groaned before hiccuping again. "N-No, this is okay! We can ke- hic, keep going!"
"I hope…" Mackenzie gulped. "Where do I have to search next?"
"Try the- hic, flan right in- hic, front of you!"
"Okay…" Mackenzie nodded, going over to it, and searching in it. "What the? A piece of paper?"
The two cannons began to rattle ominously as steam began to erupt out of their exhaust pipes…
"Oh bloody hell…" Ilyria grumbled, bracing herself for impact while Tracy tightly shut her eyes. Just as the rattling reached its apex, the country girl opened one eye just in time to see…
BOOM!
A cloud of confetti blasted out of the machine onto the two girls, the sudden sound caused Tracy to flinch while Ilyria merely had a dumbstruck look on her face.
"Byron, your turn!"
"Okay, Byron, I have a good feeling that the remote should be in the strawberry pie, which is one step to the right," Ilyria said.
Byron would search in the pie, before finding the remote. "Yes!"
"And the Raccoons get the point!" Chris announced. "Now, everyone who WASN'T in the previous two will participate. The ones who did are off on the sidelines."
In a dim room…
The remaining members of the Owls and the Raccoons would be standing in a dimly lit room.
"Okay, your challenge is to search the room, and find the switch to get the only door in this room to open," Chris said. "And by the way, you're all blindfolded."
"This is insane," Matthew let out.
"Need I remind you that you're playing for TWO. MILLION. DOLLARS?!" Chris replied, even though they could only hear his voice, all the teens could feel the man's coy grin. "And…GO!" he blew the air horn.
"Where should we start looking, Brad?" Dianne called out to her teammate.
"It was too dark to see if there was anything in this room or if it's empty before we put these blindfolds on. For now let's just try checking the perimeter of the room first and then work our way in from there."
"Fine by me," Matthew shrugged.
Lin, Dante, and David would carefully search the room, despite being blindfolded.
"Boys, I'm going to need you to search the floor first. Be careful not to bump into anyone, the walls, or each other."
"Got it!" "Understood!" The boys replied. The three Raccoons crouched down onto the floor and kept their hands stretched out in front of them both to search and to make sure they didn't bump into anything.
"Ow!" Dante called out. "Hey, who stepped on my hand?!"
"Sorry!" Matthew winced. "It's hard with these damn blindfolds on!"
"It's already dark here to begin with!" Brad added before bumping into a wall, causing his hat to fall off his head. "What was Chris thinking?!"
Hearing where the hat fell and Brad's voice, Lin smiled to herself and picked up the hat off the ground. With a gentle pat on his shoulder, Lin waited until she could hear Brad turn around before she placed his hat back on his head.
"Here, this should at least make you feel a bit better about all of this."
Even though they couldn't see each other, Brad returned the smile Lin was giving him as he gave her a gentle pat on her head.
"Thanks." He responded.
The sound of an air horn startled everyone as the lights in the room suddenly flashed back on, David's hand on a light switch.
"And that's the game! The Raccoons win again!"
"YES!" Ilyria cheered from outside.
"We did it!" Lucille smiled.
"Owls, get ready for elimination," Chris smirked.
Oblivious Owls
"This stinks," Dianne grumbled, sitting in the lounge with her team. "Especially since you've got that automatic vote against you, Tatiana. But anyways, who should we vote for?"
"I never would have thought Chris would do something like that to someone actively trying to make the challenge harder for themselves." Tracy wondered, her hiccups thankfully gone not too long after her part in the challenge.
"It really doesn't make a whole lot of sense, personally." Brad sighed. "But we're in this position now, so there's no way to take it back now. Personally, I think it may be in our best interest to stop a problem before it starts. Matthew, you've been taking glances at Alexis both in and out of challenges, don't think I haven't noticed that."
"Oh, come on!" Matthew pouted. "She's cute!"
"Don't blame my brother, he knows a pretty girl when he sees one," Mackenzie glared at the hatted boy. "Regardless, I think we should vote for the weakest link. Who? I don't really know. But we need to figure it out, before Chris calls us down for the elimination ceremony."
"I think I'd like to vote for one of you three," Dianne glanced at Brad, Tatiana, and Lila. "You guys have caused a lot of eliminations."
"Yeah, that's very true," Matthew nodded. "I really didn't like having to send home some friends."
"We've only been suggesting to vote off the weakest links. But, sure, go ahead and vote for whoever you want." Tatiana shrugged.
"Oh, Owls!" Chris shouted. "It's time for the elimination ceremony!"
"Let's go," Dianne said, standing up.
Elimination Ceremony (Oblivious Owls)
"Today's safety token is a chocolate coin," Chris said. "Go ahead, and place your votes."
Voting Confessionals (Oblivious Owls)
Dianne: "I think I want to send home Tatiana. She's too blunt, and I don't like her."
*static*
Brad: "I doubt either myself or Lila are truly at risk. Tatiana's the only one I'm really worried about since she has an automatic vote against her. Still, one of those twins should go. It truly feels like the remainder of the team either wants me gone or really wants me to stay with how friendly they try to be with me specifically. For now, I suppose I'll send Matthew a message and vote for his sister."
*static:
Matthew: "Lila. I still don't like how perfect she is. See you never, little miss perfect girl."
*static*
Mackenzie: "I'm voting for Brad, he's too sneaky."
*static*
Tatiana: "This extra vote against me means nothing. We've agreed to vote for Mackenzie."
*static*
Tracy: "Sometimes I really do think those three are getting tougher and that it might be good to vote for one of them. But at the same time they're not as bad as everyone thinks, so maybe I'll go with them this time and vote for Mackenzie."
*static*
Lila: "The longer I stay in this game, the less sorry I feel about voting for some of the team. Don't get me wrong, I still feel guilty about doing it, but maybe I'm just getting used to it? Either way, my vote goes to Mackenzie."

End Voting Confessionals (Oblivious Owls)
"Well, well, well! Owls! For the first time, a lot of you have votes against you!" Chris grinned. "But anyways, let's begin. Dianne, Tracy, and Matthew, you three have zero votes against you!"
"Wait, seriously?" Matthew was shocked at this, collecting his chocolate coin.
"Color me surprised," Dianne said, as she got her chocolate coin. "Thank goodness we're safe for another day, right, Tracy?"
"Totally! I thought after I started hiccuping that was the end for me!"
"Brad, Lila, you two are safe, as you only had one vote against you," Chris continued.
"Damn it," Matthew grumbled under his breath.
"Tatiana, Mackenzie, you ladies are the bottom two," Chris said. "But the final chocolate coin goes to…

"Kenzie!" Matthew let out in shock.
"Seriously? You voted for me?!" Mackenzie stood up angrily. "This blows."
"Well, Chris did say a lot of us had votes against us. It's possible you just had more against you because you all couldn't pick which of us to vote for." Lila explained with a shrug.
Mackenzie glared at Lila, before storming to her hotel room to pack her belongings.
"You guys are dismissed," Chris smirked.
Matthew and Dianne (Oblivious Owls)
The young man frowned as he sat on the steps, watching the bus drive off with his sister on board. Tears were visible in his eyes.
"Oh, Matt…" Dianne frowned, going over to him. "I'm so sorry."
"This is the first time I've been without my sister. I feel lost, and alone without her," Matthew admitted.
"Hey, I've been without my brother ever since the competition started. Yes, I miss him, but I'm really happy he still got a job with the show," Dianne said. "My point is, you'll see your sister again. It's not goodbye forever. It's just a 'goodbye, see you next time.'"
"I guess you make a point there," Matthew sighed.
There would be a knock on the main door, and it was Alexis. "Can I join you guys?"
"Sure," Dianne smiled. "I was just about to leave anyway. You two have fun."
Matthew's cheeks turned pink with embarrassment. "Dianne!"
"What? You seriously need to make a move, before someone else sweeps her off her feet! You've got this!" She would pat the male YouTuber on the shoulder, before leaving to go to her room.
"I really loved the flowers you got me," Alexis said.
"Y-you did?" Matthew squeaked.
"Yup. Tulips are my favourite. How'd you guess that?"
"I didn't know, I just picked randomly," Matthew admitted, rubbing the back of his neck.
"Well, your hunch paid off," Alexis winked.
Matthew blushed, smiling.
"And so, we say goodbye to one half of the YouTube twins! We're down to 13, and we're almost at the halfway point! Who'll be the next loser to board the Bus of Losers? Find out, next time, on Total! Drama! CANADIAN TRAVELS!" Chris announced.
