Revolting Raccoons: Lin, Lucille, David, Ilyria, Byron, Brittany, and Dante

Oblivious Owls: Lila, Tracy, Brad, Dianne, Matthew, and Tatiana

"Last time on Total Drama Canadian Travels," Chris began the famous recap.

"We traveled to Charlottetown, PEI; as our two teams completed an obstacle course while blindfolded," Alexis said.

"Yeah, and Matthew impressed you by giving you tulips," Chef smirked at his niece, who blushed.

"Yeah, he did," Alexis smiled. "But in the end, it was the Raccoons who ended up winning, and the Owls sent Mackenzie home, much to Matthew's disappointment. We're down to 13! Who'll be the next one to board the Bus of Losers?"

"Find out, on this episode of…Total! Drama! CANADIAN TRAVELS!" Chris announced.

Dear Mom and Dad I'm doing fine,

You guys are on my mind.

You asked me what I wanted to be

and now I think the answer is plain to see,

I wanna be famous.

I wanna live close to the sun,

Go pack your bags, 'cause I've already won,

Everything to prove, nothing in my way

I'll get there one day.

Cause, I wanna be famous!

Na na na na na na na na na na na na na na na!

I wanna be, I wanna be, I wanna be famous

Na na na na na na na na na na na na na na na! (as can be heard in the background)

I wanna be, I wanna be, I wanna be famous

(Whistling in tune)

Episode 15: Virtually No Escape

Byron and David (Revolting Raccoons)

The sun shone in the sky as Byron woke up, stretching his arms above his head. "Good morning, handsome."

"Morning." David yawned as he left to go brush his teeth.

Byron would put some deodorant on his underarms, and would also go to wash his face and brush his teeth.

"So…" David piped up. "The merge is almost here."

"I know," Byron let out. "I hope that we can make it there together."

"Here's hoping!"

"It would stink if we weren't there together," Byron frowned. "What if one of us gets cut before then?"

"Let's not think of that."

Byron nodded. "Okay. You're amazing, you know that?"

"Uh, yeah, hehe."

Byron smiled, kissing his cheek, before leaving the bathroom.

Dante, Lin, and Ilyria (Revolting Raccoons)

Ilyria yawned as she went into the bathroom, brushing her black hair, which was out of its bun currently. Lin sat up from her bed with a stretch before rubbing her tired eyes. As she began to get dressed she noticed Dante sitting a bit further away from the girls with his back turned to them.

"Uh… you alright over there?" Lin asked.

"Hm? Oh, yeah." Dante replied. "I'm just not going to look at two girls who are not my girlfriend getting dressed. That doesn't sit right with me."

"That's sweet of you," Ilyria smiled.

"Thanks! No offense though, but are you two done? I kind of need to get ready as well…"

"Nearly," Ilyria said. "I mean, I'm already dressed, I just have to do my hair."

"Ok, cool." Dante said. "I still can't believe we've all gotten this far."

"I'm shocked too. I thought the newbies would dominate us, but it's been mixed so far with the eliminations," Ilyria replied.

"Well some of the new players have been either surprisingly competent in terms of mental or physical strength." Lin added.

"Except for Adam. He was the worst," Ilyria grumbled.

"And you thought Terra was the worst this show could get…" Lin smirked.

"Though I still do feel bad for Spikke…both times he's been on this show; he's medically evacuated," Ilyria let out.

"Yeah, that definitely sucks! What are the chances of that happening twice?!" Dante shook his head.

"I mean, sure, Brittany caused his elimination last season, but she didn't do it this season. He twisted his ankle. It was unpredictable," Ilyria let out.

"I think that could be said for this season as a whole." Lin chimed in. "Unpredictable."

"Heh, don't give Chris any ideas. He might use that as a tagline for the season." Dante chuckled. "'Total Drama Canadian Travels: You'll Never See it Coming!'"

Ilyria giggled a bit. "Speaking of which, how are things with you and Abigail? I've heard that you were able to get another cat to keep her cat company?"

"Did she? She hasn't told me anything like that. Good for her!" Dante replied. "Granted I did fall asleep pretty quickly last night so I might not have been able to answer her call…"

"That's okay," Ilyria shrugged. "Maybe that other cat will breed with her current one, and they might have kittens together?"

"That depends on if both cats aren't girls…" Dante said. "Again, I haven't met this new cat yet."

"Oh yeah, I forgot about that," Ilyria let out.

"If we're done talking about cats, I think we should go on and get some breakfast." Lin said, hurrying out of the room.

"I'm starving," Ilyria nodded as she and Dante quickly followed after her. "Wait up, Lin!"

Brad and Dianne (Oblivious Owls)

Brad silently got himself ready for the day, looking a bit wary around his roommate.

"Okay, what's going on?" Dianne crossed her arms. "You've been like this all night, and all morning!"

"What do you mean 'what's going on'? You know exactly what the issue is. You and most of the team have made it no secret that you want me gone, yet you try to talk to me like we're friends. I'm not sure if you're trying to get in my head, or what."

Dianne gritted her teeth. "I hate when you're like this!"

"Like what? I'm not acting any different than I normally do."

"ARGH!" Dianne screamed, storming out of the room, already dressed.

*Confessionals*

Dianne: "Ugh, Brad is so annoying! I really want to take him out now, so I don't have to deal with him in the merge!"

*static*

Brad: "How can I not keep my guard up around them when they want to act like that?!"

*End Confessionals*

Tracy, Tatiana, and Matthew (Oblivious Owls)

"I can't believe you actually voted for my sister!" Matthew seethed. "You're both ridiculous!"

"Ok, first off, here's a reality check for you." Tatiana began. "Things aren't always going to go the way you want, both in this game and in life. Second; if your sister wasn't voted off now, you'd be going against her directly when the merge comes, and it's coming soon. Lastly; why are you including Tracy in this? As far as you know, she could be completely innocent."

"My sister wasn't the reason we lost," Matthew seethed again.

"And we were?" Tatiana scoffed. "You saw how the last part of the challenge went, it was simply a game of chance and we were unlucky."

"Whatever," Matthew scoffed. "I'm going to breakfast." With that, he hurried out the door, slamming it behind him.

"Are you sure that was smart to say? I mean the team kind of hates you enough." Tracy asked, finally speaking up.

"They can feel how they want to feel. Right now Matthew is upset about his sister but he'll get over it. He has to if he wants to stay, because if he wants to continue being angry, it'll attract negative attention both from our team and the other team. Remember, the merge is coming up very soon and when that time comes, most of the people left will have nobody left to rely on but themselves." Tatiana explained.

"But what about you and your alliance?"

"Brad and Lila are both intelligent and dependable in their own ways. I can trust them. You've made yourself known as a strong member of the team, if you ever want or need allies, we can consider you."

Tracy stood in silence, her eyes wavering as wheels spun in her head.

"I… I'll have to think about it." She said, following Matthew out of the room.

*Confessional*

Tracy: "I guess we're really getting into the tough mental part of this game that my brothers warned me about. Even though the rest of the Owls don't like Tatiana and her friends, they seem alright to me, but so do the others. I don't know what to do…"

*End Confessional*

Matthew and Tracy

The young man would be eating his cereal, which would be Frosted Flakes, in silence before he saw Tracy sit across from him with a plate stacked with pancakes, eggs and bacon. The country girl tried her best to give the boy a sympathetic smile.

"Hey…" She greeted. "Are you, um, feeling alright?"

"My sister was voted off, so no, I'm not alright," Matthew seethed.

"Well… It can't be all bad, right? I mean, there has to be some sort of bright side coming out of this. My papa always said that every grey cloud has a silver lining!"

Matthew grumbled as he continued eating his cereal. "You and my sister were friends."

"I know…" Tracy sighed, her smile wavering. "But we've already got one alliance on this team to worry about, and we're supposed to be close to the merge, right? I guess whoever voted for her must have thought that you two together would be a threat."

"Threats? Me and Kenzie? Ridiculous!" Matthew scoffed.

"Well, yeah! I mean you both know each other better than anyone else on this show does."

"We're supposed to. We're twins," Matthew deadpanned.

"Exactly! The last time this show had twins, they hated each other! Imagine what they could have done if they teamed up and worked together!"

"Oh yeah…" Matthew let out.

"Look, at least now you don't have to worry about going against your sister. For now, just focus on showing the world what you're made of!"

"I don't know…" Matthew let out. "I feel all alone without Kenzie…"

"But you're not! You still have at least half this team backing you up!" Tracy exclaimed before counting who was left on the Owls' team. "Well, me and Dianne at least, and you can't succeed unless you have faith in yourself, too!"

"Maybe the three of us should have an alliance too," Matthew said. "To get rid of those nasty three who orchestrated my sister's elimination, despite her not being the reason why we lost."

Tracy's eyes widened a bit at the thought of an alliance, especially after what Tatiana said to her.

"I mean, you want to get rid of Tatiana and Brad, right? They're strong, and if we get rid of them, we can cruise to the finale with ease!"

"Well they're certainly tough but… they've been nice to me, all things considered…"

"Come on, Tracy, please?" Matthew begged.

"I… Ok… Let's give it a try."

"Thanks," Matthew smiled. "Let's talk to Dianne when she comes down."

Later…

"Good morning everyone!" Chris came into the lobby. "We're just gonna have to take a bus to get to the challenge location, so everyone, finish up, and head on out to the bus, pronto!"

"Well, I suppose it's that time again." Lin sighed as she got up from her usual seat with the alliance. "You three try to stay alive."

"We'll be fine." Brad assured. "It's you I'm worried about."

"Don't mind us." Tatiana added. "The only thing that's killing us is the anticipation of the challenge." She joked sarcastically.

"Oh, I'm sure it'll be fine," Ilyria would approach her teammate. "Come along, Lin. Let's sit together on the bus." The smaller girl could barely get a word out as the spy pulled her away. As the two agents left, Lila watched them go with a conflicted look on her face.

"Do you think Lin will really be alright? I mean her team is starting to give her dirty looks just because she's sitting with us." The soft-spoken girl piped up.

"She'll be fine." Brad replied, putting his plate away. "From the amount of time I've spent with her, I've come to learn just how capable she is. She's too valuable for them to just let go of, but she will certainly speak her mind if she needs to. She sits with us because that's her choice, and if her teammates have an issue with that then, quite honestly, they're not very good friends."

Lila silently got up with the rest of her friends and joined them on their way to the bus.

The bus ride would only be about 45 minutes, and the group would arrive at a building. Chris would grin. "Okay! Today's challenge will involve virtual reality!"

"Last time we did this, we had superpowers," Brittany smirked at David and Byron, the blogger's eyes widening in shock.

"Really? That is so cool!"

"Yeah, it was," the mob boss let out. "Though Dante's alternate personality beat me in the first round, and Lucille beat Butch in her round."

Lucille blushed a bit. "Yeah, I was actually shocked I was able to beat him."

"So, if it's VR, it's got to be something interesting," Ilyria mused, as the host nodded.

"That's correct, it'll be an escape room! The losing team will face elimination, and a very special announcement will be made after the elimination today, so we will require both teams at the ceremony."

"For now, why don't we get you all hooked up to this system." Roderick announced as he and the rest of the interns started handing out the VR helmets.

"Thanks, Roderick," Lucille gave the drummer a friendly smile after she got her VR helmet. The gesture was enough for Lila to pout a bit as Charlene handed her another helmet. Once all the helmets were handed out, Chris would instruct everyone to put them on…

VR World

The VR world would be 2 very large rooms, with one door, and multiple drawers with locks on them, as well as a picture of a rhino hung up neatly on the wall of the room. There would also be a desk with an open book on it that was open sitting in the center of the desk. There would also be a typewriter on the desk.

Chris would get on the loudspeaker. "Okay! Your challenge is to solve the clues to find the key to get out of the room. First team to do so will win the challenge. There's no time limit, by the way. The challenge starts…now!"

Revolting Raccoons

Byron would hurry over to the open book. "Okay, there's this weird code thing…and there's symbols…a spiral, a little bird, a star, a circle, a square…and they're all represented by different numbers, between 1 to 9."

"Good eye, Byron," Ilyria walked over. "Though I wonder what the typewriter is for?"

"If I had to guess, those symbols probably correspond with a certain number." Lin noted. "Maybe we have to type whichever symbol matches with which number?"

"Hey, there's a list of what the symbols and the number they coordinate with," Lucille said, picking up a small sticky note. "Let's see…the star represents the number 4. The circle with the dot represents the number 8."

"So what do we do with this info?" Dante asked. "Is there something in the room that has anything that relates to these symbols?"

"Let's see…" Lucille looked around. "The only odd thing I see is that picture of the rhino."

"If there's anything I learned in the past year at work, it's that if something looks odd, it shouldn't be there." Lin said as she went over to move the painting to reveal a safe embedded within the wall.

The safe would have the same symbols that the open book had.

"Okay, that's really strange," Lucille said. "Usually, a safe has a 3 digit code, or 4 digit code to unlock it."

"Seems like those symbols are our key to figuring out the code." David hummed.

"And there's three little lights. I think we have to get three codes correct to unlock the safe," Byron said.

"Here's hoping the other team hasn't figured any of this out yet." Dante remarked.

Oblivious Owls

The team would be gathered in a circle, discussing what they've found so far. Brad was studying the book on the desk while Tatiana and Lila were already bringing down the painting. Matthew was reading the sticky note. "I'm pretty bad at codex. Is anyone good at these kinds of puzzles?"

"The symbols correlate to specific numbers." Brad replied. "It's likely that the numbers themselves reveal the combination to the safe, which probably holds the key to getting out of here."

"And there's three lights. So that means we have to solve three codes correctly to open the safe," Dianne said.

"Aside from the typewriter, I don't see any sort of hint to any other puzzles, perhaps it's also locked in the safe?" Lila asked.

"Perhaps," Dianne said.

"But we need to find the first clue," Matthew said, glancing over to another area of the room.

"Uhh… Hmm… Oh! There! What about that little fake bird perched on the potted plant?" Tracy called out, pointing to a plush bird.

"Let's see then," Dianne would approach the potted plant, and would pick up the fake bird. At first, nothing happened, but suddenly, an arrow flew out from the wall, with a scroll attached to it. Dianne jumped a bit. "Holy crap."

"Dianne, are you okay?" Matthew asked.

"Yeah, I'm fine, I'm just a little shocked," Dianne replied.

"So what does the scroll say?" Lila asked curiously.

"To get the key

You must solve

Three codes indeed." Matthew read.

"That doesn't rhyme at all," Dianne let out.

"I don't think it needs to. Even then that doesn't tell us much aside from things we essentially already figured out." Tatiana hummed.

"So I'm guessing we need to solve three codes…but where do we input the codes?" Dianne asked. She then noticed the safe on the wall. "I guess that's where we have to input the codes."

"That's where we put in at least one of them for sure. If we can figure out the first code then the rest should be simple in theory. It's just a matter of finding out what each code is." Brad explained. "For now, let's just focus on solving this first combination."

"Let's see…the first one is a bird, star, circle, square, and square with a dot," Matthew said.

"Then that means the first code is 7, 4, 1, 6, & 9." Dianne said. "Look, under the symbols, the numbers 1 to 9 are etched at the bottom."

Tatiana quickly input the numbers into the safe's keypad. Immediately, the first green light lit up, and an electronic voice would be heard. "Two codes remaining."

"Well, that makes one. Now it's just a matter of finding out how we can figure out the other two." Tatiana pondered.

"The second code is spiral, circle with a dot, star, star, and bird," Dianne said. "The spiral represents the number 2. The circle with a dot represents the number 8. So it must mean the second code is 2, 8, 4, 4, & 7."

Matthew would input the second code, and the second green lit up, with the electronic voice announcing that there was one final code.

Revolting Raccoons

The team had quickly solved the first two codes, but the final code was tricky.

"Let's see…circle with a dot, square with a dot, star, spiral, spiral," Lucille let out. "That's the final code."

David input the digits onto the keypad only to be met with a buzz from the speaker and an electrical discharge from the safe.

"David!" Byron was worried. "Are you okay?"

"Ugh, I'm fine. If the shocks didn't hurt Dante, then they don't hurt me." David replied.

"Yeah, that's the fifth combination we've tried, and yet we still haven't gotten the right one!" Dante added.

"But the numbers are etched under the symbols," Lucille said. "Surely we can figure it out soon."

As the team continued to discuss, Chris would come onto the loudspeaker. "And there we have it! The Owls have found the key, and escaped their room! They're the winners! Raccoons, we will see you at the elimination!"

A buzz would be heard as the Raccoons door would be opened.

"Damn it," Byron groaned.

"Also, Raccoons, you won't be voting. Chef will be deciding which one of you will be going home," Chris continued his announcement on the loudspeaker.

"He WHAT?!" Dante called out before the contestants were all shut off from their VR helmets.

"Heh, heh, that's right, boy!" Chef grinned wickedly. "Let me take some time to figure out which one of you punks will be going!"

Revolting Raccoons (Lobby)

Byron glanced over at his team, absolutely worried. "Gosh, Chef's deciding. This is bad."

"I'm sure Brittany won't go, neither will Lin or Ilyria," Lucille said. "I'm a little worried about the rest of us though."

"I straight up bit one of the tires on Chef's jeep last season." Lin stated. "I don't think he's the type to forget something like that."

"Oh, yeah…" Lucille winced. "I remember when that episode aired. You also wrestled an alligator."

"Yup, that's not important right now though." Lin shrugged. "This vote is outside of our control so there's really not much of anything we can do except wait and let the chips fall where they may."

Alexis would soon come into the lobby. "My uncle's made his decision. Please report to the elimination ceremony."

"Well, this is it," Lucille stood up. "Ready, guys?"

Elimination Ceremony (Revolting Raccoons)

Chef would have a plate of 6 chocolate coins. "Alright, if I call your name, you are safe. Lin!"

The short spy simply shrugged and collected her immunity token.

"Next up, Brittany!"

"Of course," Brittany smirked, giving the man a salute, to which he returned.

"Dante!"

Dante let out a sigh as he went to collect his coin.

"Ilyria!"

The spy grinned as she collected her coin.

"Lucille!"

"Oh, thank goodness," the young woman breathed a sigh of relief.

Byron would be shocked, as he looked at David, who was chewing his nails nervously. "It's down to the two of us, babe!"

"Now, it was hard to decide which one of you should move on," Chef began. "However, one of you impressed me slightly more throughout this competition, and that person was…

…Byron!"

The blogger hugged the photographer, crying. "I'm so sorry. I'm really sorry."

"Hey, don't worry about it!" David assured, patting Byron on the back as he looked at him and the rest of the team. "Good luck to you guys! The merge is probably coming up really soon!"

"I promise, I'll do my best to win," Byron glanced into David's eyes, with tears streaming down his face.

"I actually feel bad for Byron," Ilyria sighed, glancing over at the rest of her team.

"Me too," Lucille frowned.

"And David is actually correct!" Chris grinned, as he walked into the elimination area, with the Oblivious Owls. "You guys are now merged! David, take some time to say your goodbyes to any friends you've made, before packing your things, and boarding the Bus of Losers."

The photographer looked over at his team one last time with a bit of a sorrowful smile.

"Well, looks like I'm the last elimination before the merge." He sighed.

"Joseph will probably be a bit upset," Lucille frowned, going over to hug him. "See you around."

"Oh, I'm sure he has other things on his mind…" David replied, an unsure look on his face.

Lucille frowned. "Oh yeah…" she adjusted the promise ring on her finger. "I'm really hoping things will be okay…"

"What do you think'll happen now?" Dante asked.

"I don't know," Lucille frowned again.

"Well, for starters…" Lin replied, glancing over at the Owls, who were on the other end of the room. "The teams are dissolved, so now we'll have to either play nice or play dirty with the members of the other team that made it this far."

"May the best person win then," Brittany nodded.

"And from the next challenge onwards, you'll all get your own hotel rooms," Chris said. "But once David leaves, we're gonna announce the immunity idols that will now be in the game!"

"Well, you know how Chris can be, so I'm assuming I'd better split…" David sighed again as he went to go collect his things.

Byron watched sadly, before hearing the Bus of Losers pull up to the hotel. Soon enough, David had returned with his bags and camera ready.

"Well, I guess this is goodbye for now." David said to his team.

Byron hurried over to his boyfriend, and gave him a passionate goodbye kiss.

"Well, someone's certainly sad to see me go! But I was hoping we could all take one last selfie before I left."

"I'm down," Lucille smiled.

"Sure, why not?" Brittany shrugged her shoulders. The rest of the Raccoons all huddled together for David to take the picture before finally taking off on the Bus.

"Okay, so there's one last piece of business I'd like to address before I dismiss you all for the night." Chris began. "The three immunity idols from last season will be returning! My idol will nullify the votes against one person, Alexis's idol will allow the person who's gotten the sole vote to be saved; and Chef's idol will steal the vote from the immune person."

"But, Johan actually gets an idol this season," Alexis smiled. "So that's the only difference. His idol will make it so any votes that someone makes will go to another person instead. Essentially, you get to steal someone else's vote!"

"Isn't that similar to Chef's idol?" Lucille asked.

"In theory, yeah." Charlene replied. "But the way Chef's idol works is that if you use it, you basically get to automatically eliminate someone. If you use Johan's idol, it'll swap someone else's vote, but it might not always be enough to send your target home."

"However, only one person can win each merge challenge, and they'll be the only ones who get the sole vote at each and every elimination ceremony from here on out," Alexis continued. "So, you'd all better be on your guard."

Tatiana and Brad both raised an eyebrow in intrigue while Lila gulped a bit in concern, her eyes quickly wandering to Lucille and Brittany before returning to her friends.

"You guys can quickly make a confessional before heading up to bed," Chris said.

*Confessionals*

Brittany: "So. My second time making it to the merge. This means I've got more of a goal to take out those three ridiculous redheads."

*static*

Dante: "Wow, I made it to the merge again! This time it was actually me that did it this time! Maybe… Maybe I've been worrying too much about Damiano! I think if I keep going as I am now, things will be alright!

*static*

Lucille: "The last time I made it to the merge, I was the first one out. I really hope I can make it further this time."

*static*

Tracy: "Woah, I actually made it to the halfway point! That is so cool! I was so sure my team would have voted me out towards the start!"

*static*

Dianne: "Gosh, now the tough part's gonna begin…"

*static*

Lila: "Oh, I'm ever-so excited to have made it this far! I know this means I'm technically going up against Brad and Tatiana now, and I'd like to have a word with her before the day ends, but I'm hoping we can stick together to the very end!"

*static*

Byron: "Sierra's told me about the merge, despite her making it to 4th place on World Tour. She said it was really tough."

*static*

Brad: "This was expected. I'm sure that now that we have the ability to vote for them, Tatiana will want to get rid of Brittany and Lucille immediately. If not, she'll likely have a reason. As for myself, I'd much prefer to tie up any loose ends in regards to the remaining former members of Team Owl first."

*static*

Matthew: "I feel bad for my sister, having to miss out on the merge. But I know she's gonna root for me."

*static*

Tatiana: "Me getting to this point was inevitable. The three of us will continue as we have been, but with Lin having to worry less about her former team members, perhaps we can get her to join our alliance as well."

*static*

Ilyria: "May the best person win these remaining challenges. That's all I'm gonna say."

*static*

Lin: "Back here again. Not like I'm exactly surprised about this. The challenges this season haven't really been too bad physically. There have been a few hiccups here and there but the social aspect of this game is a lot tougher than last time…"

*End Confessionals*

"And so, we're down to 12! Who'll be our first merge boot?" Chris turned to the camera. "Things are about to get turned all the way up to eleven as we enter the second half of Total

Drama

CANADIAN TRAVELS!"

Hotel Lobby (Brad, Lin, Tatiana, and Lila)

The two red haired girls sat and watched as Brad and Lin continued with their usual game of chess.

"So, we've reached the merge." Tatiana spoke up.

"Yup. Things are about to get a lot more complicated now that you have the option to vote for people who weren't on your team before." Lin replied. "Think you can handle it?"

"It's not so much as if we can handle it." Brad piped up as he moved his knight forward. "It's if the others can handle the four of us."

"Four?" Lin raised an eyebrow.

"We'd like you to join our alliance." Tatiana said flatly. "You've already proven to be very competent in both the physical and mental aspects of this game and the three of us have grown quite fond of you. What do you say?"

"Brittany and Lucille have already brought me into an alliance with them."

"An alliance you never asked for." Brad stated. "We all know you don't want to play both sides. But would you rather be in a group you felt forced into. Or around people happy to share your company."

"Um, we won't force you to join us. That's ever-so rude! It's entirely your call!" Lila assured.

"She's right. You're more than welcome to refuse." Tatiana added with a smile.

Lin looked at the three redheads, each giving her a gentle smile and she could feel her cheeks growing warm when she locked eyes with Brad.

"I… I'll need some time to think about it, alright?"

"Take as long as you need." Brad said, gently patting her hand.

"If I may." Lila piped up. "I do have one thing I'd like to ask you, Tatiana." The taller redhead raised an eyebrow as she looked at her more soft-spoken friend. "I've asked this same question to both Lin and that intern, Charlene, but I feel that it's important to ask you as well, especially since we've now entered the merge. Tatiana, what would you say makes you so confident in yourself?"

"Confident?" Tatiana repeated, looking down for a moment as if trying to figure out what exactly to say before laughing a bit to herself. "What makes you think I'm always confident?"

Lin and Brad raised an eyebrow while Lila looked a bit disappointed in the response. Though before any of the three could say anything, Tatiana kept talking.

"I'm not always as confident as I look, I'll tell you that much. BUT! To me, being confident is knowing that people are going to see you in a certain light and they'll always have something to say about you. Sometimes it's good, sometimes it isn't. Right now, a few people are saying some pretty harsh things about us. But confidence is knowing and hearing what they have to say and knowing how they feel about you and ignoring it. You're the only person who knows the truth about yourself, so don't listen to what they have to say or what they may do. Just keep doing what you're doing and things will work out how they should."

The answer made Lila smile as she hurried over to hug her taller friend.

"Oh, thank you Tati! Thank you as well, Lin! I've been thinking a lot about some personal things and some of the things people have been saying to me in this game and the looks I keep noticing have made it more difficult. But I'll keep doing the best I can, both for this alliance and in the game! I promise!"

"Good. Now, Lin, I do believe with this next move…" Brad stated. "That's a checkmate."

Lin's smile widened as she simply shook her head. "Well, that makes us even again! But I'm going to have to call it a night. I'm sure the girls on what used to be the Raccoon team won't be happy if they start seeing us all together more often."

"Let them think what they think, right?" Lila shrugged. "But you're right, it is getting a tad late."

"Yup, until tomorrow then." Tatiana said as she got up and stretched.

"Until tomorrow." Lin replied.

Allureon: We're at the halfway point and before you know it we'll be inching towards the finale!

LaViolaViolaRosa: Anyway, in the next chapter, it's the third aftermath of the season! Spikke, Eddy, Mackenzie and David will be interviewed about their time on the show. Also, Christopher's sister, Lauren, aka: Countess Contessa debuts her new song: 'Dark Kiss'; and announces who she got into a relationship with during the off season between the finale of Hawaiian Resort, and before filming started for Canadian Travels. I hope you're all ready for some big juicy moments in the aftermath! We'll see you then! Make sure to leave your thoughts in a review, we'd love to see it!
