"Well, we've counted the votes, and it seems like there's a tie between Lila and Spikke," Chris said. "However, we won't be able to do a tiebreaker challenge due to Spikke's injury, and for that, it won't be safe for him to continue in the competition. Lila, you're safe. For now."

"Will someone help me pack my things?" Spikke asked.

"I'll help," Matthew said.

"I'll help too," Mackenzie replied.

"Me too," Dianne stood up.

"Thank you three," Spikke said.

"Okay, once Spikke has his things packed, we'll get a helicopter to take you to a hospital back where the aftermath studio is," Chris said. "The rest of you, you're dismissed. For now."

"Eddy, your time is up," Chris said. "Please, take a moment to say your goodbyes, pack your things, and head to the Bus of Losers."

The shorter boy was silent as he simply rubbed his temples in frustration.

"I'm really sorry," Dianne approached him. "I hope you can forgive me."

"I just want to know why! Why pick me over Brittany?! You said she was the other option, right?!"

"Only Brad, Tatiana and Lila wanted to vote her out, but the rest of us disagreed," Dianne let out.

"Ok but WHY?!"

Dianne sighed. "It's not forever, Eddy. We'll see each other again."

"Whatever…" Eddy groaned as he walked onto the Bus.

"Hey, you didn't pack your things!" Chris shouted. Though Chef seemed more than happy to put his bags on the bus with the band helping him out while Eddy simply sulked on the bus.

Dianne sighed as she looked down.

"Honestly, what were you expecting?" Tatiana asked as she shook her head.

"I, um, have to agree." Lila added. "He's most likely feeling ever-so angry that you voted for him. He trusted you…"

"And you're all dismissed," Chris said. "Go do whatever you teens do."

"Kenzie!" Matthew let out in shock.

"Seriously? You voted for me?!" Mackenzie stood up angrily. "This blows."

"Well, Chris did say a lot of us had votes against us. It's possible you just had more against you because you all couldn't pick which of us to vote for." Lila explained with a shrug.

Mackenzie glared at Lila, before storming to her hotel room to pack her belongings.

"You guys are dismissed," Chris smirked.

"Now, it was hard to decide which one of you should move on," Chef began. "However, one of you impressed me slightly more throughout this competition, and that person was…

Byron!"

The blogger hugged the photographer, crying. "I'm so sorry. I'm really sorry."

"Hey, don't worry about it!" David assured, patting Byron on the back as he looked at him and the rest of the team. "Good luck to you guys! The merge is probably coming up really soon!"

"I promise, I'll do my best to win," Byron glanced into David's eyes, with tears streaming down his face.

"I actually feel bad for Byron," Ilyria sighed, glancing over at the rest of her team.

"Me too," Lucille frowned.

"And David is actually correct!" Chris grinned, as he walked into the elimination area, with the Oblivious Owls. "You guys are now merged! David, take some time to say your goodbyes to any friends you've made, before packing your things, and boarding the Bus of Losers."

The photographer looked over at his team one last time with a bit of a sorrowful smile.

"Well, looks like I'm the last elimination before the merge." He sighed.

"Joseph will probably be a bit upset," Lucille frowned, going over to hug him. "See you around."

"Oh, I'm sure he has other things on his mind…" David replied, an unsure look on his face.

Lucille frowned. "Oh yeah…" she adjusted the promise ring on her finger. "I'm really hoping things will be okay…"

"What do you think'll happen now?" Dante asked.

"I don't know," Lucille frowned again.

"Well, for starters…" Lin replied, glancing over at the Owls, who were on the other end of the room. "The teams are dissolved, so now we'll have to either play nice or play dirty with the members of the other team that made it this far."

"May the best person win then," Brittany nodded.

"And from the next challenge onwards, you'll all get your own hotel rooms," Chris said. "But once David leaves, we're gonna announce the immunity idols that will now be in the game!"

"Well, you know how Chris can be, so I'm assuming I'd better split…" David sighed again as he went to go collect his things.

Byron watched sadly, before hearing the Bus of Losers pull up to the hotel. Soon enough, David had returned with his bags and camera ready.

"Well, I guess this is goodbye for now." David said to his team.

Byron hurried over to his boyfriend, and gave him a passionate goodbye kiss.

"Well, someone's certainly sad to see me go! But I was hoping we could all take one last selfie before I left."

"I'm down," Lucille smiled.

"Sure, why not?" Brittany shrugged her shoulders. The rest of the Raccoons all huddled together for David to take the picture before finally taking off on the Bus.

"Okay, so there's one last piece of business I'd like to address before I dismiss you all for the night." Chris began. "The three immunity idols from last season will be returning! My idol will nullify the votes against one person, Alexis's idol will allow the person who's gotten the sole vote to be saved; and Chef's idol will steal the vote from the immune person."

"But, Johan actually gets an idol this season," Alexis smiled. "So that's the only difference. His idol will make it so any votes that someone makes will go to another person instead. Essentially, you get to steal someone else's vote!"

"Isn't that similar to Chef's idol?" Lucille asked.

"In theory, yeah." Charlene replied. "But the way Chef's idol works is that if you use it, you basically get to automatically eliminate someone. If you use Johan's idol, it'll swap someone else's vote, but it might not always be enough to send your target home."

"However, only one person can win each merge challenge, and they'll be the only ones who get the sole vote at each and every elimination ceremony from here on out," Alexis continued. "So, you'd all better be on your guard."

Tatiana and Brad both raised an eyebrow in intrigue while Lila gulped a bit in concern, her eyes quickly wandering to Lucille and Brittany before returning to her friends.

Dear Mom and Dad I'm doing fine,

You guys are on my mind.

You asked me what I wanted to be

and now I think the answer is plain to see,

I wanna be famous.

I wanna live close to the sun,

Go pack your bags, 'cause I've already won,

Everything to prove, nothing in my way

I'll get there one day.

Cause, I wanna be famous!

Na na na na na na na na na na na na na na na!

I wanna be, I wanna be, I wanna be famous

Na na na na na na na na na na na na na na na! (as can be heard in the background)

I wanna be, I wanna be, I wanna be famous

(Whistling in tune)

Episode 16: Aftermath 3

Miguel would be gathered with the men, as he wanted to show them the engagement ring that he had gotten for Trish. He was a little nervous as well, wondering if the guys would like the ring.

"Okay, okay, we're here, mister movie star. What's the big deal?" Demetrius grumbled.

"Demetrius!" Antonio scolded the criminal.

"Ugh, sorry, I'm jealous of how in love some of you are!" the Russian rolled his eyes.

Antonio stepped on the Russian's foot, causing him to wince in pain, before turning to Miguel. "So? What's the news?"

"I'm planning on asking Trish to marry me," Miguel revealed.

"Dude!" Christopher was wide-eyed. "No freaking way!"

"Wow, really?" Antonio asked.

"I never really expected this," Demetrius rolled his eyes.

Antonio elbowed Demetrius again, causing the Russian to wince in pain. "Fine, whatever, congratulations."

"So, when do you plan to pop the question?" Johan asked.

"At the finale," Miguel smiled. "I had to ask Maria what Trish's birthstone was, as I didn't want to do a typical diamond ring. Her birthstone is garnet, so it took me a bit to find one."

"Well? Show us the ring!" Christopher let out.

Miguel chuckled as he took out a small red velvet box, and opened it, to reveal a gorgeous 3-stone elongated cushion cut garnet and purple rhodolite ring in 14k rose gold.

"Wow! That's beautiful!" Antonio let out.

"Why rose gold though?" Christopher asked.

"This ring was only available in rose gold," Miguel replied.

"I'm sure she'll like it regardless." Johan stated. "Shame it isn't in neon-purple cheetah print though. I think she'd literally explode in happiness if it was."

Miguel laughed a bit. "I mean, there is some purple in it, so…what do the rest of you guys think about it?" He would ask Butch, Joseph, and Walter.

"Well I ain't exactly one for that level of romance, so I don't really know." Butch shrugged. "But hey, I say go for it and ask her."

"I agree." Walter nodded. "I am… new to romance, personally. But I do believe if you truly feel that way about her, you should ask her. I'm sure she would love the ring."

"Joseph, you and Lucille haven't talked much. I really hope things are okay between you two," Christopher frowned at the tribal chief, who simply turned to walk away.

"Trish will like the ring." He said flatly.

Antonio frowned, as he was about to open his mouth, when a stagehand approached them. "Hey, we're about to begin, so go ahead and take your seats."

"We're coming," Demetrius let out.

"Good evening everyone, and welcome back to the Total Drama Canadian Travels Aftermath Show! I'm Bill, and I'm here with my amazing co-host, Trish!" Bill exclaimed.

"Hi you guys!" The posh princess waved fervently with a wide grin on her face. "We've got another awesome Aftermath all ready for you guys tonight!"

"That's right, Trish! So, to start off, we'll be interviewing the four recent losers, Spikke, Eddy, Mackenzie, and David, and we're gonna have Countess Contessa debut her new song, and reveal who she got in a relationship with! But first, let's talk to our alumni, and see who they think the pop superstar is dating! We'll start things off with Terra!"

The clown was still wearing her new outfit and had her natural hair color, and with a hum, took a moment to think before simply shrugging.

"Okay…do you have an answer?" Bill blinked. "Anything to say?"

"Nah, not really." Terra replied.

"Okay, Rebekah!"

"Honestly, I'm not sure," the tomboy let out simply.

"Walter!"

"No clue."

"Demetrius!"

"A preppy person," Demetrius rolled his eyes.

"Well, color me surprised!" Bill let out.

"I couldn't say anything rude, since this pop star's brother is here."

"And I appreciate that," Christopher nodded.

"Okay, Jerusha!"

"No clue, but is it possible that it's someone we know?" The magician asked.

"It could be, but she's keeping it a surprise!" Bill smiled. "Christopher, do you have any idea?"

"Unfortunately, my sister swore me to secrecy," the male magician let out. "So I can't tell you."

"Alrighty! Joseph!"

"Just like a lot of the others, I don't know. Quite honestly I have too many different things that are more important for me to worry about. No offense to her."

"I'm sure she won't take offense. Let's see…how about Abigail!"

"Keep me surprised, I love them," Abigail replied.

"Okay! Thank you all! Let's start off with our first interview. He was taken out twice due to medical reasons, it's Spikke!"

The Greek rapper would come on stage, with crutches. He struggled a bit, but managed to sit in the hot seat. His right foot was wrapped in a cast.

"Trish, do you want to ask the first question?" Bill turned to his co host.

"Sure. So, Spikke, this is sadly the second time you've lost because of medical reasons, how are you feeling because of that?"

"Well, this time, it was natural, so I wasn't expecting to twist my ankle," the Greek rapper let out. "I am glad that Shauna was able to be by my side at the hospital."

"Do you still trust Brad, Lila, and Tatiana?" Bill asked.

"Absolutely not. They're complete dirtbags," the Greek man scowled. "I hope they lose, and I hope they all rot in hell."

"Now, do you think a newbie will take the crown of two million dollars? Or will it be a veteran?" Bill asked.

"Honestly, it would be nice if a veteran wins the prize, but I won't be too surprised if a newbie ends up taking the crown," Spikke answered.

"Thanks so much, Spikke! You can go ahead and join our peanut gallery!" Bill smiled.

"Hey." Butch whispered to Shauna. "Do you think your man was a bit too harsh towards those three for saying all of that?"

"A little…" The dancer replied. "He's probably still upset about being removed by injury but this isn't the first time I've seen him get angry. I'll have to have a talk to him about this."

"Next up, we've got the second person we're interviewing today, let's give a warm welcome to Eddy!" Bill announced. The shorter teen still had a bit of a sour pout as he took his place on the hot seat.

"Hey." He greeted, leaning on one of the chair's arms.

"So, your time on the show has been interesting," Bill said. "Tell us more about it."

"What's there to really say…" Eddy pondered. "I put in as much work as I possibly could for my team. Sure there were hiccups like me unintentionally getting Lin attracted to me, but we kinda worked that out, I guess. It looks like she's moved on, but hey, I can't blame her for falling for ol' Eddy." The boy shrugged.

"Are there any regrets you have from your time on the show?" Trish asked.

"There's definitely a lot more I could have done." Eddy shrugged. "Kinda feels like I didn't really get to know some of my team and that I wasn't really in the limelight as much as some of the others, but hey, too late to really change that now."

"It might be too early to tell, but who do you think will win the competition?" Bill asked.

"Eh, we're halfway there now, but if I had to pick someone, I think Lin, a member of that alliance, or Tracy has the best chance." Eddy replied. "Lin's already gone far, so I think she has a good shot of going again, if not winning it all. Those three redheads are gonna be tricky to beat in general, even if only one of them can win, so I can't really pick just one of them. Tracy's just really good at physical challenges so I think she could surprise us all."

"Thanks, Eddy, you can go ahead and join the peanut gallery. Our third guest tonight started this competition with her twin brother; and she was sadly eliminated. Give it up for Mackenzie!" Bill announced.

Mackenzie skipped out onstage, smiling, blowing Fernando a kiss before sitting in the hot seat.

"So, Mackenzie, thank you for joining us," Bill began.

"Thanks for having me here!" Mackenzie chirped.

"Now, how do you feel about your brother being all alone in the competition?"

"I'm worried for him," Mackenzie admitted. "It's the first time in a long time since we've been separated, and now, even though we're at the halfway point, I'm worried he's gonna do something he'll regret."

"What do you mean by that?" Bill asked.

"Well, Matt can get angry sometimes, and his temper can get the better of him. He hates when people tease me, and I hate when people tease him," Mackenzie explained.

"Aside from your brother, is there anyone you're hoping makes it to the end?" Trish asked.

Mackenzie thought for a moment. "I would say Lucille. She was the first merge boot last season, so I'm really hoping she'll be able to pull off a win, as a sort of comeback."

"Thanks, Mackenzie, go ahead and join the peanut gallery," Bill let out. "Our final guest tonight is the cousin of last season's winner, Joseph. Let's give a warm welcome to David, the incredible photographer!" Bill announced.

David smiled as he waved at the peanut gallery and took his seat.

"Welcome, David. How do you feel about your time on the show?" Bill asked. "Did you enjoy it?"

"It was definitely an interesting experience. It's so much different than just watching it on tv though."

"I bet," Bill chuckled. "Did you get along with your team?"

"Definitely. I'd say all of us were pretty cool with one another, even with some of the more aloof members like Brittany and Lin."

"I see. Trish, do you have any questions?" Bill turned to his co-host.

"Sure, but let's stick to some of the easier questions before we get into the more juicy ones!" The posh girl replied. "So, David, as the cousin of last season's winner, did you expect to go far?"

"Hmm, well I expected to at least go a couple of rounds before getting booted. I figured being Joseph's cousin might put a target on my back but my team didn't really see me in that light, so I guess that helped. Still, I'd say I'm satisfied with ending up eliminated where I was, even if it had to be Chef that picked me."

"I think we should move onto some juicer questions now," Bill grinned. "You and Byron got along really closely as the competition went on. How did it feel to finally hook up with another contestant's cousin?"

"Byron is his own man, he doesn't want to be seen as Sierra's cousin. But to answer the question, it's just me getting into a relationship, it can't be that big of a deal, can it?"

"That's fair. Now that the competition is at the halfway point, who do you think will end up taking the win?" Bill asked.

"Even now I think it's still a bit too early to call. We've got Brittany and Lin, who made it to the top three last time. There's Lucille, who's super motivated to win now. Those three redheads that have been in their alliance, and everyone else is tough in their own regard."

"But if you had to pick one person to win, who would it be?" Bill asked.

"It's a tough call but… I think I have to go with Brittany, Lin, Lucille or Ilyria. I can't just pick one of those four girls."

"Thanks for your time, David. You can go ahead and join the peanut gallery," Bill said. "Now, it's time for the moment you've all been waiting for, Countess Contessa debuting her new song! Who's excited?!"

"I'm pretty excited," Mackenzie grinned, looking at the others. "She's an incredible vocalist."

"Put your hands together, for the incredible Countess Contessa, as she and her band debut 'DARK KISS!" Bill announced, as the stage lights darkened a bit, before stage smoke appeared onstage. Five gothic-looking girls would soon appear, with one on the drums, one playing the keyboard, two playing the electric guitar, and one playing the keytar. The music would start off, creepy and slowly, as Countess Contessa made her way forward, the microphone at her lips.

"In the moon's embrace, shadows intertwine

A clandestine dance secrets we define

Your lips, a velvet touch, a forbidden bliss

A symphony of longing in our dark kiss

The night whispers secrets, stars ignite,

Our hearts aflame, lost in the night

The world fades away, just you and I,

Caught in this rapture, under the sky

Dark kiss, like a midnight rose

Passion blooms where no one knows.

Silent promises etched in skin

A love forbidden, yet we begin

our eyes, like galaxies, pull me near

A gravitational force, both wild and clear

We're fugitives of desire, hearts aflame

Writing our story in shadows' name

The night whispers secrets, stars ignite

Our hearts aflame, lost in the night

The world fades away, just you and I

Caught in this rapture, under the sky

Dark kiss, like a midnight rose

Passion blooms where no one knows

Silent promises etched in skin

A love forbidden, yet we begin

Moonbeams trace our skin, a secret map

In the quietude of night, we bridge the gap

Whispers of longing, like silk on fire

Our love defying reason, soaring higher

The night whispers secrets, stars ignite

Our hearts aflame, lost in the night

The world fades away, just you and I

Caught in this rapture, under the sky

Dark kiss, like a midnight rose

Passion blooms where no one knows

Silent promises etched in skin

A love forbidden, yet we begin

Buried beneath forgotten cryptic stones

Enshrined in silence embraced by darkness

Belonging to the hidden ancient race

Am I still dead but dreaming?

The night whispers secrets, stars ignite

Our hearts aflame, lost in the night

The world fades away, just you and I

Caught in this rapture, under the sky

Dark kiss, like a midnight rose

Passion blooms where no one knows

Silent promises etched in skin

A love forbidden, yet we begin

Moonlight paints our skin, a masterpiece

Our stolen moments, a sweet release

In the quiet hours, we find solace

Two souls entwined, defying the laws

Awaiting my time of resurrection

Reminisce of a day long ago in the past

When I was blessed with the dark kiss

The gift which immortalized me once

Oh, I do remember the taste of hot blood

Which was running upon my white face

To moisten my dry lips

With a burning kiss of mortality, a burning kiss of mortality

My eyes are blazing red in the night

Leather wings adorn my huge back

My fangs are sharp as frozen steel

Prepared to caress thy beloved neck

I rise from the tomb world, folding out my wings

Flying up high through the nocturnal sky

Looking for creatures who are worthy to get the dark kiss

And to satisfy my hunger for blood during this night

I do feel again the taste of hot blood

My senses aflame, my purpose defined

As I seek those deserving of my immortal touch

In the moon's embrace, our destinies entwine

The night whispers secrets, stars ignite

Our hearts aflame, lost in the night

The world fades away, just you and I

Caught in this rapture, under the sky

Dark kiss, like a midnight rose

Passion blooms where no one knows

Silent promises etched in skin

A love forbidden, yet we begin

As dawn approaches, we steal one more

A whispered promise, forevermore

In the shadows, our love persists

A timeless tale of our dark kiss."

The song would soon come to an end.

"Holy…" Mackenzie was wide-eyed.

"Now that…is a song…" Demetrius let out, impressed. "Who knew she had it in her?"

"You actually managed to impress someone who has no taste in music, so she's definitely good." Terra nodded.

"Excuse me?" Demetrius stared at the clown. "I have good taste in music."

"Okay, before this goes anywhere, let's move on!" Trish said, trying to force a smile as she kept the two apart.

"Good idea," Bill said. "Now, Countess Contessa, was that song dedicated to anyone in particular?"

"Oh yeah, and she's sitting in the gallery," the pop star grinned.

"Don't keep us in suspense!" Mackenzie let out. "Who is it?"

"Well, I guess the cat's out of the bag," Rebekah stood up, heading down to the pop star, and kissing her on the cheek. "You did incredible, love."

"Aw, thanks, sweetie," the pop star grinned.

Demetrius's jaw dropped. "Wait, you and Rebekah?!"

"Surprised?" The tomboy turned to the criminal, and the other people in the gallery.

"Huh… Somehow I figured you'd end up with Christopher's sister." Jerusha hummed with Shauna nodding in agreement.

"Damn," Spikke let out. "Congrats."

"Thanks, Spikke," Rebekah smiled.

"Okay, now that we've finished with that shocking reveal, let's see what everyone thinks of what challenges will be upcoming now that the merge has hit!" Bill announced.

"I wonder if that Wheel of Food challenge will make a return?" Abigail said. "Even though it did take out Spikke, some of the food that was shown was cool."

"Oh, I'd love another horror-themed challenge!" Jerusha piped up. "I want a chance to show off more of my demonic creations!"

"Can I help?" Terra asked.

"Sure!"

"Well, the show is based in Canada, so maybe more Canadian-themed challenges? Like that one time in Ridonculous Race, that first episode, where they had to climb the CN tower stairs? Or take the elevator, and go on the EdgeWalk?" Juliette asked.

"That would be so cool," Mackenzie let out.

"I agree," Abigail nodded. "Though I wonder if they can handle it."

"With some of the stuff they've all been through already, I'd be surprised if they couldn't." Fernando chuckled.

"Joseph, any thoughts on any upcoming challenges?" Bill turned to the winner of the previous season. The man in question wasn't even in his seat, as he appeared to have left the studio.

"Again?!" Bill let out. "Goodness, what is up with that man?"

"We're kind of going through a lot of family problems right now." David answered. "Most of them are centered around him."

"Yikes," Bill shivered. "Okay, before we close the show, let's ask our alumni who haven't been selected for the season on their thoughts on who they think will win the show. We'll get Joseph's answer later. Jerusha, we'll start with you."

"Honestly, from what I saw from all of them, I think I'll go with Tracy. She's tough, but at the same time she kind of feels like the underdog in this situation. Caught in the middle of two groups as the merge is starting, she might end up like a fish out of water."

"Okay, Abigail?"

"Honestly, I want Dante to win, but if he doesn't, then my second choice is Lin."

"Walter?"

"I believe Lin has the best chance this time around. There is a new contestant that I have my eyes on as a potential winner but, if I may, I'd like to keep that a secret. If they do not make it to the end, I'll reveal who my choice was."

"You're mysterious," Demetrius rolled his eyes a bit. "But I'd have to go with Brittany. Sure, she's not playing the villain role right now, but she's scary, strong, and someone you don't want to mess with."

"Terra?"

"Just like last time, Lin-Lin for the win-win!"

"Rebekah?"

"Man, this is tough," the tomboy let out. "But I think I'm gonna go with Lin."

"Miguel?"

"Lucille. She's actually doing pretty well in the game," the movie star said.

"Alright, some mixed answers, but most of you are rooting for Lin. Interesting choices," Bill said. "Maybe your answers will change as the merge goes on. But for now, that's the end of the show! We'll see you again when the next four losers have been eliminated! This has been the Total Drama Canadian Travels Aftermath show! Goodnight everyone!"
