NOTES: This story is in celebration of the 55th anniversary of the Scooby-Doo franchise.
This is my own version of the cancelled movie that Warner-Bros. Discovery shelved for tax cuts.
This story is a collaboration with a friend.
It was the holiday season. The members of Mystery Inc., Fred, Velma, Daphne, Shaggy, and Scooby-Doo were in their van, the Mystery Machine, driving through the snowy mountain. They were going to spend Christmas at the Holiday Hamlet, a resort which was owned by Fred's Uncle Ned.
Fred: Well, gang, we're almost at the Holiday Hamlet. Uncle Ned said that he would have our rooms ready for us when we get there.
Daphne: It's cool that we're spending the holiday season there!
Velma: Great place to relax.
Shaggy: Just as long as there are no scary monsters there, only an all-you-can-eat buffet.
Scooby: Reah! (Yeah!)
Soon, they showed up to the Holiday Hamlet resort, and got their stuff from the van before heading in. When the gang got inside, they took a look around the resort, and everyone was amazed at seeing the festival holiday decorations around the main room. Fred's uncle Ned, who was a middle-aged bald man with blond hair on the side, saw Mystery Inc., and greeted the gang...
Ned: Hello, Fred, kids. Happy Holidays!
Fred: Happy Holidays, Uncle Ned.
Daphne: So, are our rooms ready?
Ned: Yep, and you're not the only ones who are staying here either.
Ned pointed behind them, and the gang saw a girl with her parents behind them. She had brilliant orange-colored skin, moderate red-colored hair, brownish red-colored eyes which were visible, with purple eyeshadow and was wearing white earrings, and fancy winter clothes, plus, she was holding her doll named Genevieve. Her parents had the same-colored skin, and they both had black eyes, but the mother had red hair, and the father had brown hair.
Girl: (laughs) Oh, Merry Christmas, peasants. I'm Cantaloupe Sinclair, a member of the Lifetime 'Lil Ladies Club from Big City. And you're all in the way of my luxury.
Daphne: (rolls her eyes) Well, look who's speaking.
Cantaloupe was fuming when she heard that.
Shaggy: (nervously) Daphne, it may not be a good time to get this little girl mad.
Scooby: Res! (Yes!)
Cantaloupe: That's a better choice for you. Well, it's time for me and my parents to go to our first-class room. Later, peasants. (chuckles)
Velma: (snarks) The nerve of that girl.
Fred: Yeah, she doesn't seem very friendly.
Ned looked over to Fred, Daphne, Velma, Shaggy, and Scooby-Doo, and motioned for them to come closer...
Ned: Let me warn you kids... for over 4 decades, there have been rumors than Krampus the Christmas ghost shows up here every holiday season, coming past here, in the snow outside. I'm glad you're here, because Krampus has been much getting much closer by the resort. and I'm worried that he could scare away any potential tourists. As professional detectives, would you all search the Holiday Hamlet and found out if there's anything important?
Fred: Sure thing, Uncle Ned. (turned to Daphne, Velma, Shaggy, and Scooby) Come on, gang. It looks like we have a mystery to solve.
Shaggy and Scooby immediately lit up in fright...
Shaggy/Scooby: (teeth chattering) Zoinks/Roinks!
Velma dragged Scooby and Shaggy outside...
Velma: Come on, guys. I think there's something suspicious about this ghost.
Shaggy: I hope Krampus doesn't come tonight!
Scooby: Reah!
Mystery Inc. then went outside, then headed to their van.
