Fred, Velma, and Daphne were shocked after reading the story of what happened...
Velma: Chef Dave, was that fancy chef's outfit that's hanging up there the same one that guy wore back then?
Dave: (nods) It was. It's also said that he died while working in the kitchen.
Shaggy and Scooby were frightened, and shuddered in fear...
Shaggy: Let's get our staff and get out of here!
Scooby: Reah!
Both of them quickly ran upstairs. However, on the way to their room, they saw that all the artwork picture in the aisle started flying off the wall. This scared Shaggy and Scooby even more, and they ran back downstairs to the kitchen, where to their (and the gang's) surprise, more scary stuff was happening. The lights began to flicker, dishes were crackling, and there was a loud howling sound. Shaggy, Scooby, Fred, Daphne, and Velma didn't know what was happening...
Fred: We have to find out what's going on.
Velma: Good idea, Fred.
Shaggy: (scared) Do we have to?
Fred: If we're going to solve this mystery, then yes.
Scooby and Scooby nervously gulped.
Velma: We going to have to split up to look for clues.
Fred: Shaggy and Scooby, you guys search the Holiday Hamlet, while we go outside.
Fred. Daphne, and Velma then headed outside, while Shaggy and Scooby searched inside the resort, to their fear...
Shaggy: (nervously) I hope we don't run into that monster.
Scooby: Reah!
Not long after the two had started to search, Scooby suddenly had fallen into a trap door...
Scooby: (screaming) Relp! (Help!)
Shaggy, after seeing that, freaked out, they ran all around the resort to find his friend. Meanwhile, Fred, Daphne, and Velma were looking around outside, when they heard Scooby howling in the distance...
Daphne: Jeepers! That sounds like Scooby!
Velma: I hear him! This way!
The trio ran to the direction they heard Scooby howling. When they found him, which was inside a small cave, they were surprised at what they saw. Fred, Daphne, and Velma saw that Scooby was stuck in a big hole.
Daphne: How are we gonna get Scooby out of there?
Fred: There must be something here we can use.
Where the trio were looking around, Shaggy ran arrived at the cave, and found where Scooby was...
Shaggy: (happy) Oh, Scooby Doo, I found you!
Scooby barked in happiness.
Velma: Shaggy, help us look around here for something to get Scooby out of the hole!
After briefly searching the cave the rest of the gang, Shaggy realized something...
Shaggy: I just remembered; I have some butter with me! If I spread it around Scooby, we could get him out.
Daphne: Let's try it.
Shaggy got out a stick of butter from his pocket, and rubbed it all over Scooby.
Velma: Why did you carry a stick of butter with you?
Shaggy: I guess, after my buttered my toast this morning, I forgot to put it back.
After Shaggy finished buttering Scooby...
Fred: Alright, gang, let's pull Scooby out!
The gang held onto each other, and Shaggy grabbed Scooby's arms. Soon, Scooby was able to slip out of the big hole, and landed on the ground. Mystery Inc. had successfully pulled Scooby free.
Fred: We did it!
Scooby himself was glad to be out of that hole. Fred, Velma, Daphne, Shaggy, and Scooby took a look at the area they were in.
Daphne: Where are we?
Velma: (points at something) Hey, look at that!
Everyone turned to look what Velma was seeing. They saw a bunch of creepy toy dolls on a shelf. And, to their surprise, they saw that the dolls had red paint on them, and their heads were missing! And, at that very moment, Krampus crept up from behind them, and roared very loudly.
When the gang saw that Krampus was there, they all screamed and ran away from the area as fast as they could...
Shaggy: (scared) Let's go, before that ghost catches us!
However, Scooby stopping running when they were outside, because he was curious to see why Krampus was here. He bravely stayed behind, and crept back inside, and he saw that Krampus was painting all the dolls red, then turned their hands, and was removing them one at a time. The ghost had a wagon full of those dolls' hands. Scooby had to tell the gang about this. He then ran out of the cave before the ghost saw him there.
