When everyone was in the lobby, the gang told them what happened, and showed them the box they found, and everything in it...
Velma: These letters are over 200 years old!
Cantaloupe: (amazed) What?
Dave: Incredible!
Daphne: We also found black gems in the box. However, many people that tried to find those gems have never come back.
Everyone was shocked, and began asking questions...
Dave: Why would Krampus try to keep those letters a secret?
Cantaloupe: How much are all those gems worth?
Ned: Kids, why does that ghost want to paint all of those dolls red and take their hands?
Fred: I think the answers to those questions must be in the letters.
Fred, Daphne, Velma, Shaggy, and Scooby opened the letters. Then, they, Ned, Dave, Cantaloupe, and her parents read them. They all found out answers about the ghost of Krampus, what the red dolls were about, and more information about the black gems.
First, the red dolls represented every child who came up missing, which scared Cantaloupe. The rich girl went closer to her mother and father, who hugged her...
Cantaloupe: If every child who ended up missing is because of that ghost, could that happen to me, too?
Velma: Well, Cantaloupe... we believe that would happen, but Krampus isn't going to kidnap anyone while We're here.
Fred: Uncle Ned, could we use your phone, so we can call the police?
Ned: Certainly.
Fred went to the desk, and called the police on his uncle's phone. While everyone was waiting for the police to show up, they all stayed in the lobby together, to protect each other. Soon, two cops, a male and a female officer, came into the Holiday Hamlet, and everyone told what had been happening...
Velma: We found this small box that Krampus had been trying to find.
Daphne: Yes, the box has these black gems.
Fred: I think I discovered what these kind of gems are, but could you look at them, just to be sure.
The two cops looked at those gems, and after inspecting them, they nodded...
Male Cop: These things are happening because these gems are toxic.
Fred: I had an inkling they were.
Female Cop: Yes, it's the gems that are making that ghost act this way.
Questions were asked...
Cantaloupe: Where are all the missing children?!
Ned: Why are the gems making Krampus act like that?!
Dave: What do we do about all this?!
Shaggy: (scared) How do we stop this ghost?!
Scooby: Reah?!
A plan was about to be explained...
