Gumball was hitting it off nicely with Sunny Daze and Peachy Pies. He wondered how he can get girls like this. Was it his charm? His looks? The way he acts? Or it was probably because ue was alien to these fillies and not from the beautiful world of Equestria?
Perhaps when a creature is extremely rare in a world or universe, it makes the species all the more interesting.
The cat boy was at Sugarcube Corner with Fluttershy and the two fillies that he had just met near the lake. The owners, Mr and Mrs Cake were running their business as usual, and Pinkie Pie as their (always) happy helper. Pinkie did not hesitate to give Gumball some free cupcakes and ice cream for him to indulge and enjoy.
"Be careful, Gumball." Said Fluttershy. "You might get a tummy ache if you eat all of that."
"Pfft, I eat a ton of junk food every day. There is no amount of sugar or fat that can hide me a lethal stomach ache." Gumball boasted before chomping on some more ice cream chunks.
Fluttershy still looked a little worried about her friends' well-being but decided to just let him be happy and eat as much sweets as much as he can eat.
"So are all cats in your world like this?" Asked Peachy Pie
"Like you all talk and walk on two legs?" Said Sunny Daze, looking as curious as her best friend.
"Well not everyone in my home world are a bunch of talking cats like me. My mom is a cat and my dad and sister are rabbits."
"What?" Said the two fillies, looking completely confused.
"I know it's weird." Gumball sang. "But my world is a very weird and crazy place to live in."
"Sounds like it." Sunny Daze smirked. The entrance bell was heard at the entrance of the sweets shop, and it was revealed to be the two fillies and colt that Gumball had met before. Diamond Tiara, Silver Spoon, and Pipsqueak.
It looked like they were all looking for Gumball. "Ag, there you are." Pip smiled, seeing his first friend from another world. "We've been looking all over for you, Gumball."
"Yeah, we were just about to give up looking for you when we remembered that Fluttershy is your new mother."
"Well, I don't know about that." Gumball said. "But I do know is that; she is a good friend to me. And... I wish my mom was more like her."
The yellow Pegasus looked really touched by Gumball's kind words. "Aww, that's sweet of you." She picked him up and hugged him tenderly.
"But, alas," Gumball sighed. "My mom is... I can't say it. But she's... a neurotic bottle of crazy sauce."
"Well I wouldn't say that." Fluttershy pointed meekly, "his mother has... emotional problems."
"Hate to tell you this, Fluttershy, but, that would be an understatement. I've known her way longer than you have."
"Fair enough." The yellow Pegasus chuckled before saying in a more serious voice: "But she is still your mother."
"I know. I just hate that she screams and yells, and makes a big deal over nothing. But... I hope she is doing ok."
"Oh, I am sure she is fine." Fluttershy gently patted her friends' back gently.

Things in the Watterson household in the California town of Elmore were not really... bright and dandy like it would normally be. No, Darwin, Richard, and Anais looked over to Nicole, who was pouting and looking sad and bitter in the dining room table after all that had happened.
Nicole was just drinking as much whiskey and gin as she can gulp down her throat. She appeared to be drunk and inebriated that it was hard for her to keep her balance, and her eyes looked crazy as she was inebriated.
"Dad, maybe you should go talk to her." Darwin said. "See if you can talk some sense into her."
"Why me?" Richard asked
"Because you're her husband!" Anais exclaimed in an exasperated voice. "She husbands should always be supportive of their wives!"
"Well what can I do? She looks really grumpy. Well... more grumpy than usual."
"Just go talk to her." Darwin scowled.
"Ok! Ok! I'll do it for her." Richard said before slowly walking up to her with a nervous look on his fat face. Nicole didn't really look at him at first when she is gulping down some whiskey.
But when she did notice him, she said: "oh! Hi Richard!" She began chuckling in a crazy way. "When did you get in here?"
"Uhhhh... I live here?" Richard looked uncomfortable.
Nicole let out another hearty chuckle from herself and wrapped her right arm around her husband, making him feel uncomfortable. Her breath was already reeking of booze and it was not a very pleasant smell. "Richard, Richard, Richard." She hiccuped. "You are so funny."
"Honey, we're getting worried about you." Richard said, trying to sound as calm as possible. "I know that you are mad at Gumball for running away with Fluttershy, but-"
"Fluttershy? Hic! I hate her so much!" Nicole looked angry. "She took my precious baby away from me! Hic!"
"Oh, you don't mean that." Richard nodded his head.
"Yes I do. I love Gumball, and I love you, Richard. Who wants a hug?" Then she began embracing him in a really sloppy matter, struggling to keep her balance.
"Look, Nicole, I think you've had enough whiskey for one day." He slowly took the bottle away from her.
"What? Why do you think I have had enough? Hic!" Nicole looked confused.
"Because you are poisoning yourself!" Anais decided to try and help. "You're killing your own liver, mom! Get a hold of yourself!"
"Pfft, Anais, you poor naive girl- Hic! I am not poisoning myself. I'm just realizing what a horrible mother and loser I am!" She began laughing maniacally.
"Snap out of it, Mrs Mom!" Darwin said before he grabbed Nicole by the shirt and slapped her to come to her senses.
Looking shocked at what she had just received, she took a deep breath. "l... I'm sorry." She realized. "I'm just going through a really tough time right now."
