Chapter 130

And with the vows they had written spoken the smiling robed man looked down a list, "yup, all checked off, well, we're here at last, so, Georgie, Wyatt, by the powers vested in me as a Superior Court Justice of the State of New York it is my honor and privilege to pronounce you husband and wife. I'd kiss before the crowd surges if I were you two" he said as the crowd erupted and they kissed.

Two days earlier, both Georgie and Lou waited for Amy at the back door parking area at Pegasus. She had run in to the ranch house to hang her dress in the guest room closet for safe keeping. It fit perfectly, not just to the three of them but more importantly to Mathilde who had the final say.

"Sebastian will be happy, your dress will turn heads Amy."

"I thought Georgie was supposed to turn heads."

"Don't worry, they'll forget all about you when Georgie walks but it will make Ty happy." Mathilde laughed.

"As it should be on both accounts." Amy agreed.

While Amy ran into the house Georgie texted Annie who was also coming along on the trousseau trip. Immediately after Amy's ultrasound they'd be picking her up at the huge house the Morris family had taken over for the wedding courtesy of Bridgette's arrangements. She had about an hour to get ready. Wyatt had absolutely refused a similar shopping trip so he was accompanying Peter, Mitch and Peter's brothers on a fishing trip. They saw Chuck lining up horses as they drove around the front of the house.

They took the Mustang, it was a nice day and as it got later and warmer they decided they might have a shot at pulling back the soft top. Both the Mustang and Ty's GMC had been looked at and completely restored by the Ithaca vintage car shop, including the car's push button convertible top which now worked like it was new. With the new paint job it was a real looker and garnered attention from passerby.

They pulled up at the Obstetrics and Gynecology office and parked next to what had become known at Cornell as Ty's Jag which he had taken to school early before coming here and they joined him actually minutes after he had parked. He was leafing through a maternity magazine when Amy came in and immediately stood to kiss her and smile. "How's the dress ?"

"Perfect" she answered "I should check in."

Lou leaned over to kiss Ty and sat down next to Georgie to wait while Amy was taken off for a blood sample before the ultrasound.

"How did I do ?" Georgie asked.

"Passed with Distinction, congrats Georgie, well done."

"First year down I guess, it really is a relief."

"What are we taking about ?"

"I passed mom, I'm officially a second year."

"With Distinction Georgie, it means something." Ty added.

"Frances will be out in a minute Amy, do you need a bottle of water ?"

Amy smiled "I think I'm good."

Ten minutes later Lou and Georgie stood behind Frances, the practice's ultrasound technician while Ty sat with Amy, as the mixed sounds of two hearts beating came through the speakers and she turned the sound down.

"This one will take a little longer Amy. Sounds pretty good in there, let's see if they'll cooperate for measurements. Your fundal length is good Amy. Let's see up close." She said moving the wand around for a few seconds before noticing that Amy had moved her hand to the underside of her belly. "Feel that ?"

"Yes, what is that ?" Amy confirmed and asked.

"That's a leg, baby A is stretching, good boy" Frances whispered as she clicked the mouse. "Good growth, here it comes on the other side, there, feel that. That's it little man, stretch it out for me, good, good."

"Here Amy, want to see ?" Frances asked turning the monitor.

"They look huge."

"They don't look like horses at all do they ?" Georgie muttered.

Ty laughed followed by Frances and the rest. "No they don't Georgie."

For this scan, technically about half way through Amy's pregnancy they'd be taking ultrasound images and measurements of the twins' faces, brains, spines, hearts, kidneys, diaphragms, chests, stomachs, bladders, genitals, limbs, feet and hands, as well as their umbilical cords. As always Frances would also be checking the size of the fetuses, look at the location of the placenta and measure the level of amniotic fluid, their heart rates, as well as Amy's cervix to make sure that it's clear of the placenta, closed and long.

40 minutes later Frances sighed "Well, I got most of it, twins are always hard and apparently identical twins are worse. It all looks good and by the textbook Amy. From my perspective you're doing great. Ok, Ty why don't you take Lou and Georgie out to the waiting room and we can get Amy cleaned up.

"Miriam should just be getting done with another patient." Annie told her when Amy came out to join the family a few minutes later.

"Well they've got most of their parts, so that's good."

Amy laughed at Georgie's comment, "yeah, welcome to identical twins, apparently they like to hide and" she said taking Ty's hand "stretch."

"Wow, so that little, whatever it was, that's it huh ?"

"They call it a flutter, I guess it is, you felt it though ?"

"Barely but I definitely felt something, wow."

"Trust me they'll get more pronounced." A woman who walked out with Dr. Goldstein said in passing while she walked up to the counter. How far along are you ?"

Amy smiled "5 months give or take, you ?"

"7, twins though."

Amy nodded "me too."

"Yeah, you'll feel them." The woman answered laughing. "Good luck and don't worry, take time for yourself."

"Thanks, I plan to, I'm mostly off all summer."

"Teacher ? So am I, where do you teach."

"Vet school actually, you ?"

"Cortland High School."

"Kindred spirits then, I'm Amy Fleming."

"Michelle Nordstrom, good to meet you Amy." She said walking over and shaking Amy's hand. "Oh excuse me, my husband Ty, sister Lou and niece Georgie."

"Good to meet you all."

"Sorry to interrupt" Annie said "It's time to get you set up Amy, just you and Ty please."

Ty sat to the side while Amy was seated on the exam table. She wore a roomy dress to facilitate both her ultrasound and the exam she was about to undergo. Miriam, her OB/GYN was in the room minutes after she was ready.

"How have you been doing Amy ? Sleeping Ok ?"

"Some nights better than others but overall pretty good I'd say."

"Well your weight's improved and I doubt your bloodwork will show anything, sugar is fine." She said reading through the exam folder. "Apparently you've been feeling them, that's good obviously and it will get easier and more bothersome."

They'd moved from the exam room to Miriam's office and were now seated across from her. "Ok, schools over so maybe we should talk about a regular exercise regimen."

"Exercise ?"

Miriam laughed "I know, it sounds weird for someone like you but the simple fact is that as your pregnancy progresses you'll naturally prefer being stationary which is fine and normal but when I say regime I'm not talking about gym workouts, just walk more, jog, swim, join a yoga group or a pregnancy exercise group, like that. You're not riding anymore Amy you need to keep toned."

"I thought the point was weight gain."

"Good healthy weight Amy and the exercise will help with that. Rumor has it you'll be spending a bunch of time at a pool over the summer so make sure to not just lay at the pool but swim in it. Take walks and really look into a pregnancy group, it helps and stop looking at me like I'm a psycho, you're not riding Amy, your metabolism alone will not take care of excess fat and pregnancy can be notoriously deceptive when it comes to keeping in shape."

Ty laughed "we'll work walks into our day Miriam and we'll put Jackson on the Fleming swim team, he'll get her in the pool."

"Everyone at home good and excited ?"

"More excited by the day, we're all fine."

"Excellent, I'll walk you out, I think I have a coffee break scheduled." She said rising from behind the desk and reaching to the printer where she had 4 pictures printed out for them to take along.

While Amy made her next appointment Ty introduced Lou and Georgie to Miriam not realizing that she had seen Georgie as a patient a few weeks before.

"Good to see you again Georgie, all Ok ?" Miriam asked.

"No problems doc, all healed and ready to go."

"So Saturday ?"

"Saturday it is, trousseau shopping today."

"Sounds like fun, congratulations, the adventure begins, anyway I've got to return some phone calls before we get busy, it was nice meeting you Lou."

Outside they split up with Ty heading back to meet Bert at Cornell and Georgie's crew off to pick up Annie.

"Morning all, how was the appointment Amy ?"

"Fine Annie, apparently with all this eating comes exercise."

Lou laughed "I did stretching and yoga with Katie."

"I remember Lou, I'm looking into some maternity classes and when the crowd disperses I'll start hitting the treadmill and taking romantic walks with my husband."

"Ok Amy, where should we start ?"

"Lingerie Georgie, head up to Cortland."

"I'm not much for lingerie."

"You don't wear panties and a bra, a camisole every now and then, nightgowns ?"

"Of course I do."

"Then let's start with that and maybe you'll see something that entices you. Ty loves it."

"And you ?"

"I have to admit I like them, and I like that Ty likes them. I don't buy the weird shit Georgie but when I wear a dress, my bras and panties and camisoles match. When I get dressed up I wear stockings and a garter. Sexy long silk nightgowns or just plain nice pj's. It's really all girly stuff but between you two."

They were approached immediately upon entering Venus by a smiling young blonde woman in slacks and a blouse.

"Amy ! It's good to see you and with an entourage."

"Good morning Carley how's everything been going ?"

"Things are great, how can I help ?"

"Georgie here is my niece and she's getting married Saturday, we're trousseau shopping. This is my sister Lou and Georgie's mom and this is Annie, Georgie's step-mom."

"Good to meet you all, so what are we looking for ? How about we start with under the wedding gown ?"

"Go with Carley Georgie, she'll measure you and show you what she's got."

"How about you three poke around and we'll pick some stuff." Carley said smiling "Amy, whole new rack of maternity stuff ?"

"I'll check it out, thanks Carley."

They watched as Georgie was led away and Lou smiled "She knows your name Amy."

"She does." Amy said pulling out a camisole and panty set from the rack and holding it out in front of her. "No shopping you two ?"

Annie frowned "You know what's weirder than taking your step-daughter for sexy undies ? Shopping for your own sexy undies with your husband's ex-wife."

Amy laughed "How did I not think about that ? Anyway, mom's have been filling their daughters' trousseaus for years. I'm taking this and this." She said holding out the same set in both white and black.

"Amy, Georgie is asking for you, fitting room A."

"Ok, thanks Carley, uhm, here, hold these for me. Lou there's a Starbuck's right down the block, could you get me an iced decaf chai latte please ?"

"Georgie, it's Amy." She said after gently knocking on the door.

Amy knew the fitting room was large and stepped in when Georgie opened the door while standing behind it.

She was wearing a black one piece Teddy, part lace and mostly satin. It fit nicely as far as Amy was concerned.

"Well ?"

"Well what Georgie, it looks amazing and black is definitely your color."

"Yeah, not white so much but I got that set for the wedding and white seamed stockings. It's got a blue flower."

Amy nodded, "they're made that way for the something blue,"

"So, what do you think Wyatt will think ?"

"How does he get to the good bits ? He'll love it Georgie." Amy laughed.

"So you'd wear this ?"

Amy scrunched up her face a bit "Truth is, I think I have that one, maybe not black, maybe green or blue, maybe both, some are very close. How do you feel ?"

"Truth ?"

"Of course, spit it out."

She could see the blush rising in Georgie's cheeks "I love it, I need to get some dresses."

"Trust me you can wear those under jeans and a blouse too. We'll go for dresses after lunch, show me what else you have in that pile and we'll fill in."

Once she and Amy had picked through the pile Georgie had in the dressing room they went in search of the mothers and more staid items, like pjs, both short and long which included some camisole sets, some nightgowns, also short and long. Georgie would have no part in either Lou or Annie choosing the more provocative lingerie being boxed by a sales associate.

"Seems you did pretty well Georgie, glad you listened ?" Amy said as she climbed awkwardly into the passenger side of the Mustang.

Georgie smiled as she got behind the wheel "well, who knew ?"

"Where next ?"

"Lunch Lou, pregnant woman has to eat for three." Amy answered.

"Robin's free, can we pick her up ?"

"Sure thing Georgie, head south on 13, next left."

"My turn to pay." Annie said "where to after lunch ?"

"More everyday dresses, I'm sorely lacking in just plain stuff. All the dresses I think I really wear are Great Grandma Lyndy's stage stuff. A couple nice and some hanging out dresses would work."

"How are you with linens Georgie ?"

"The loft came with like 6 sets and at least 100 towels. I might never need either again mom."

"Definitely not a 100." Amy muttered. "I like them well stocked, you never know." They were at a stop sign when she said it and Georgie leaned over to kiss Amy's cheek.

Robin was waiting with a big smile when Georgie pulled up. "Off for two weeks." She said getting into the Mustang putting Lou in the center. "Where are we going for lunch, I'm paying."

"You don't have to pay Robin, Annie and I will cover it."

"Nope you two buy the stuff Lou and I'll pay for lunch."

"Burgers ?"

Georgie laughed "craving or suggestion Amy ?"

"Can't tell you, burgers just popped into my head."

"Let's go to Glenwood Pines Georgie, we can sit out on the terrace, it's really pretty this time of year."

"Good choice Rob." Georgie agreed.

"Excellent, Double Pines Burger, macaroni salad and pink lemonade."

Robin laughed "That's what Chuck gets Amy."

"And what do you get Robin ?" Annie asked.

"Haddock sandwich, it's so good and usually some of Chuck's macaroni salad and a coke."

"It's really pretty simple fare Annie, a lot like Maggie's."

"Sounds great."

Glenwood Pines was one of those places where you ordered at the counter and they bring it to your table when it's done. It was situated outside the city proper on the side of a mountain. Taking advantage of this view it had huge windows and an outside two level deck with picnic tables covered by huge umbrellas where the group grabbed a table. They checked menus and Robin and Georgie went in to order while the others sat.

"I'm paying for the dresses Lou, please don't argue." Annie said as they looked at their surroundings. "This is nice."

"It is nice and after that excursion be my guest."

"She bought a lot Lou." Amy said.

"I know and she became pretty frugal when she moved out, they wouldn't let us buy them anything really, I can't imagine what her undies drawer looks like."

"I really don't know how my life would have turned out if Ty and I had done that, I know I never would have adopted those three kids."

"Don't obsess over it, it's never worth it." Annie added putting her hand over Amy's and patting.

Amy smiled "It never is, still, it does pop up every now and then. Anyway, I'm pretty sure Georgie's undies drawer probably looks like most working undergrad to grad student drawers look. At least those that aren't born into the Ivy League but come anyways, I have no idea how they afford it."

"Loans, ridiculous loans, quarter million bucks for law school according to Wyatt." Georgie said wielding a tray with 4 drinks. Robin carried her own.

"Show me you were a waitress without words." Amy said as Georgie laid the drinks in front of everyone one at a time without putting the tray down.

"Yeah, you never forget drink balancing." Georgie said sitting down sipping her unsweetened iced tea.

"So what did you get already ?" Robin asked looking across at Georgie.

"So far just Venus Robin." Amy said.

"Ohh, you took me, fun and weird."

"I stayed away from the weird." Georgie added.

"I looked at everything, some really weird. Like what's the point stuff and ouch, no thank you stuff."

"There's no accounting for taste sweetheart." Amy told her laughing along with the rest.

"You'll probably get more from tonight Georgie, Amy and I did."

Annie nodded "I guess that's pretty standard for a bachelorette party. What do you have planned Robin ?"

"Well, we split up so Yvette's making stuff for us and Pavel for Wyatt. There's beer and wine and a bottle of tequila from Trev. There's a hot tub and two pinball machines, music and we can bowl if we want. Georgie said absolutely no strippers or cocaine." She finished giggling.

"That last part was a good choice Georgie." Lou added laughing as they all moved their drinks to accommodate their lunches being brought over.

Both Lou and Annie ordered Pine Burgers with Amy ordering her double. Georgie ordered a Chef's Salad and Robin her beloved Haddock sandwich. They had decided to order table sides since they were fairly large.

Annie swallowed and took a sip "What are you doing with your time off Robin, I mean besides the wedding ?"

"The first week just hanging around, Chuck promised a trail ride everyday and we'll probably have a picnic or two, just being together and we need to buy Chuck some not working clothes, he gets filthy. Then we're going to Canada with Georgie and Wyatt."

"We're going to stay at Fairfield and be there for the grand return to an updated Heartland ranch house." Georgie added. "I'm so excited."

Amy smiled "Lisa is too, so you're all going next Saturday and you Lou, that Tuesday ?"

"Actually Monday night we'll all be at Fairfield and the ranch house walk through will happen on Tuesday morning." Lou corrected. "Katie's going back with Dad and Casey this Sunday for school Monday morning. She's staying with them.

"How's the upgrade going, any idea ?" Amy asked.

"They're apparently done with the outside, heat and air are done and the power plants and batteries are all connected. This is all finish work, bathrooms and kitchen now."

"How about your place Amy, what's your schedule ?"

"Meg and I are hoping to go up June 15 for a week but I need the floors and walls done so I can see the space before I buy furniture. We're going up to the baby center in Syracuse this week to pick baby furniture for Ithaca and the Adirondack space. You can come with Robin."

"Just tell me the day and I'll let Chuck know."

"Should we get dessert ?" Annie asked "I can use a cup of coffee."

"We should go to Purity for dessert, they have coffee."

"Ice cream, definitely." Georgie agreed.

"Can I leave a tip ?"

Robin nodded "Nope, all taken care of, we can go."

Amy had Georgie park in the shared foundation lot and they had decided on the way back into town to take a break and do some walking and shopping before ice cream though they did stop at Gimme coffee for drinks to go. Coffee for Annie, Lou and Georgie, decaf lattes for Amy and Robin. It was Robin who described the dress attack plans.

"We have to go to The Loft first, it's really the best dress shop in town and it's near Purity so after we can get ice cream and then walk the square, you know the smaller clothes stores and consignments."

Amy agreed "Sounds like a plan, the girls love The Loft and they love the consignment shops."

"Where do you shop Amy ?"

Georgie laughed "Amy ? Amy shops in Manhattan."

"I've shopped other places Georgie."

"Like ?"

Lou laughed "Antwerp, Zurich and Paris. My sister likes her shit these days Annie."

"Mostly Manhattan lately Annie, Sebastian makes most of my dresses and I have a personal shopper."

"That works."

"Certainly works for me."

Georgie picked 5 or 6 dresses going through the racks with Robin while Lou and Annie searched on their own. At 8 dresses Georgie headed off to the dressing rooms with Robin along to help. Amy occupied herself in the maternity area picking several bathing suits which seemed to have adjustment systems which made sense. She followed Georgie to the dressing room passing Annie and Lou.

"What do you have Amy ?"

"Bathing suits Lou, all my suits were bought pre pregnancy. I need to see how these work."

"You know I don't think I had to deal with bathing suits with Katie."

"We never swam in Alberta once we got older and before that mostly river and lake stuff. Briar Ridge had a pool but by then I never went to Briar Ridge if I could help it, so…."

Amy stepped into the dressing room next to George and Robin and chose her first suit to try on. Next door she could hear Georgie and Robin. She was trying on a dress that was apparently a fitted wrap that closed with a bow up front.

"I don't know Rob, the only thing holding this thing closed is this bow and that button."

"It's a pretty dress and looks great on you Georgie, at least it's easy on, easy off. If your worried just wear it at home, I bet Wyatt will love it."

Georgie laughed "once he learns its' secret he will, what do you think ?"

"I think you should buy two." Robin answered giggling.

Georgie laughed "You're something else Rob. I'll get this one, just one, Wyatt likes zippers and buttons."

"Ohh look at this one Georgie." Robin said holding up a red dress with yellow flowers, a low bodice and buttons up the front. "The buttons work, that should be fun."

"Not everything is about enticing my husband Rob."

"Why not ?" Amy asked from the next room "I mean it's not the only reason to wear a dress, I love the freedom and the girlishness of it and Ty loves dresses. I mean he loves jeans but dresses are more playful and since I'd never wear one to work, I know I'm not working, I actually think they help me relax. Get the buttons Georgie, Robin's right."

When they settled at Purity for their postponed dessert, aside from the lingerie Georgie was up 4 sports bras, 12 pair of plain colored cotton bikini panties, 6 assorted blouses, 3 bikinis and 4 new summer dresses including the wrap and the buttoned front dress. Amy had picked 4 maternity bathing suits, 2 full and 2 maternity two pieces suits that she thought would make it until at least August.

"Two scoops fresh strawberry, pineapple and hot butterscotch topping, whipped cream and three cherries."

Georgie laughed "How long's that been rolling around in your head ?"

"This bathing suit I saw with strawberries on it maybe, oh, oh." Amy exclaimed and grabbed Robin's hand laying it against her belly.

"Oh, I feel it, is that the baby."

"Baby A's foot I'd say."

"Wow." Robin whispered.

"Baby A ?" Annie asked.

"Frances, the ultrasound tech always refers to the baby most on the left as Baby A, probably because it's the side closest to her I guess so down here, anyway anything on the left is baby A." Amy answered.

Robin wiped off the table with a napkin while they sat "It must feel amazing to be pregnant."

"I wouldn't say amazing over odd or different, physically at least."

"Well I sort of meant up here Amy" She said pointing at her head.

"Yeah, I guess I'm not over that part yet. What are you getting Robin ?"

"Chocolate Brownie in a waffle cone. I'll help carry Georgie." Robin said as Georgie wrote down the orders.

"Robin, can she ?" Lou asked Amy when Robin had left along with Georgie.

"Most down syndrome patients are sterile, it's odd to find a couple that can have a baby, one or the other is usually incapable. Personally I think they'd be good parents and might try to adopt. We'll see if they bring it up."

After a short walk from Purity, they were in a somewhat higher end consignment shop called Petrune just off the Ithaca Commons where Georgie was trying on several outfits they'd found on the racks when Amy called over the sales associate and asked if there was a place for her to sit.

"You Ok Amy ?" Lou asked seeing Amy walking over to a small seating area she hadn't noticed or recalled.

"Backache, when I walk a lot, it's nothing Lou."

"I remember the backache, it came later though I guess.'

"According to Miriam all those thing show up earlier with twins. I'm really Ok Lou, might as well sit while I can though."

Lou nodded "feet swelling ?"

"Not so far, just lower back ache sometimes. Only one more store worth checking on foot if Georgie wants."

"She sounds pretty shopped out to tell you the truth."

Amy sighed "there's always room for one more store Lou, I can get someone to drive me home."

"I can call you an Uber, really not a problem." Lou said pulling out her iPhone.

"Don't bother I saw Charlie's car in the foundation lot." Amy said lifting her phone and pushing a button.

"Hey kiddo, how are you doing, how's the shopping shindig ?"

"Still going on, you busy, still at the offices ?"

"Not at all and yes."

"I'm at Petrune, on the square, come take me home please, I'll buy you a drink."

"Sounds like a plan, 5 minutes, I'll beep."

"Thanks Charlie, make it 7 minutes, I have to pee."

"I'll stop in the lot down the block, just text and I'll drive by and pick you up.'

"Thanks Charlie."

On her way out she popped her head around the curtain to Georgie's dressing room. Georgie was just turning back and forth looking at a dark burgundy dress covered in flowers, it had short sleeves and would look great with a nice pair of boots.

"That looks great on you Georgie," Amy said "I'm heading back to the ranch for a rest, see you both later."

"How are you going, we can be done after this."

"I don't want you to stop on my account Georgie, Charlie's picking me up, have fun, buy that dress."

Robin leaned out and kissed her and Georgie stepped out for a hug and to show Annie and Lou the dress.

"Definitely buy that one Georgie, it'll be great for a night out with Wyatt." Annie said while giving Amy a hug.

"See you at home Lou." Amy said hugging her as well before heading to the door and texting Charlie.

He pulled up in his white Maserati sedan immediately as Amy walked got the curb and she climbed in slowly a few seconds later. Her days of jumping in a car a memory for the time being.

"Thanks Charlie, this is great."

"You're very welcome and it's nice, we haven't had the time we used to I guess."

"I'm sorry Charlie, that's probably more my side."

"Come on Amy, this is a good thing. Have you been out to the jumping facility lately ?"

"I drive by but since they've closed it off and started on the inside, I guess a week maybe….. between finals, guests and the wedding….."

"Me either, feel like quick stroll or is that the reason we're heading to Pegasus ?"

"No I'm Ok for a quick look."

They pulled in to the lot closest to what was the street side or front of the facility featuring a marquee for competitions and shows and a row of glass, wood and steel doors that were made for either single entry or pushed off to the sides opening sections or the whole front to the outside. This was a feature the thoroughbred stables did not have as they were never open to the general public. Amy planned to one day host shows and competitions but that would be further into the future.

There was one set of doors open and the unmistakable odor of freshly cut wood permeated their senses as soon as they walked through the doors.

"Certainly smells like you designed it Amy." Charlie said as they walked into the entryway and they turned towards the sound of the work.

"It's pretty much a big fancy barn Charlie, they're pretty much all made out of wood. I love the post and beam feature." She said pointing to the ceiling as they walked.

They both popped their heads into various rooms along the way. Amy walked in and tested a bathroom which surprisingly had water and worked. The walkway they took still had a covering to keep it from staining and about 20 yards in they came across a long double row of stables, wood framed with dark green cast iron accents. The stalls were nice and roomy and the building obviously temperature and humidity controlled. After walking what felt like 20 or 25 stalls distance they came upon a 4 door section on the inner side of the walkway where they stopped, shrugged at each other and went for it.

"This is the larger jumping ring, the competition one." Amy said looking around. "It looks finished."

"It is finished, hey Charlie, Amy, impromptu inspection ?"

"Matthew, it's good to see you, it looks beautiful, we just stopped in on the way home." Amy said turning in place.

"The jumps are coming next week and about a 200000 lbs of fine sand. They still have to connect and install the sound systems, clocks and some of the spots, that's also next week. We're right on time to take the first of the horses on the fifteenth. We're mostly working on the offices and the apartments now."

"And the house ?" Charlie asked.

"Bryce told me that Nick and Claire wanted to be here for the construction so they'll live in the two bedroom and we'll start with the foundations when we're done here."

"The pools and rehab stuff ?" Amy asked.

"Yeah, probably not safe for you to get close to that, stop by beginning of next week. They're treating floors down there and" he said nodding at Amy's belly and smiling "you're probably better off not breathing that in considering."

"I should be heading to the house anyway, how about a tour Tuesday ?"

"Tuesday will be great Amy, just text me a time."

"Thank you Matthew, sorry to pull you away.'

"No problem Charlie, come along next week and we'll walk the whole facility."

As Charlie backed away from the almost finished facility Amy was thinking "How did he know we were there ?"

"Probably a motion detector and video feed to his iPhone. Welcome to the 21 century Amy."

"I was wondering why nothing was locked."

"Did you see anything to steal ? They lock up at night and obviously the motion sensors and video feeds work."

"Just take the access road." Amy said as Charlie drove onto the county road and not the hard packed dirt road that would lead to the houses.

"I'm not driving my custom white Maserati over a dirt road when 3 minutes extra will get us to the same place."

"Fine, I guess that makes sense."

They found Jack, Lisa and Betty sitting around the kitchen table talking in front of slices of Sally's Tart Cherry Cake and Charlie immediately invited them to the library, "when you three are done join us in the library for a Manhattan on Amy."

"Little early for a drink Charlie."

"Almost 4 o'clock Jack the perfect time to find out if you need a nap before dinner, one Manhattan won't kill you."

"I'm convinced, by the way, I'm done with weddings on this ranch for awhile after Georgie's."

"I'm with you Gran." Amy said passing with a steaming cup of tea.

"Where are my children ?"

"The girls are working with Jackson and Turq. Most of the family horses are out with riders. That Olivia girl came in after lunch with her boyfriend ? fiancé ? I don't know, they're out. Wyatt's and Peter's crew are still out."

"The horses must be loving all the attention." Amy said stopping at the hallway for a sip.

"Can I bring either of you a slice of cherry cake ?"

"None for me Betty, I just had a sundae."

"Me either, I just tried on my suit for the wedding this morning." Charlie said laughing, "it's fine but felt wrong."

"I know that feeling." Amy said laughing and walking out into the hallway.

Amy settled in her roomy leather chair after setting up a pillow. She sighed on the way down and swung her feet up on the ottoman. Charlie headed straight for a pitcher at the bar.

"How much leeway do I have on furniture Charlie ?"

"Don't worry about it Amy, the market's up, real estate is up and business is good. Oh, they're building a line of condo's on Boylston right around the corner from the Cornell bus stop. I hear they're top notch, there's also a house you should look at, 1890, all refurbished."

"How about the city search ?"

"Fall going into winter is the best buyer's market in Manhattan, if that's still what you want."

"Definitely Manhattan and both are still a secret. How did Wyatt do ?"

"Like Georgie, first year with distinction."

Amy nodded and took a seat as Charlie settled across from her.

"Trudy would have approved of Georgie and Wyatt and would have been thrilled about their coupling with Robin and Chuck."

"I haven't spent much time with Wyatt and Chuck but Robin and Georgie have a great time together. Robin seems to have opened up so much with her."

"Chuck and Wyatt also, tonight should be interesting."

Since the wedding was to happen away from the main compound, the original plan was to have two comfortable prep and wait tents set up for Georgie and Wyatt. This was where both would dress and wait with their family and friends until the ceremony but it really made no sense. The day would be warm and no matter what the tents would have exposure to the elements and probably bugs and the like. It would be hard keeping snacks and drinks cool and no matter what they were still tents. Sitting with Erma at one of the last planning meetings it was decided that instead they'd use two of the Pegasus Prevost Motorhomes and one of the horse carriers for Wallace and Phoenix.

At about 2 hours before the ceremony Georgie and her entourage drove up to one of the busses and while people loaded her things onto the bus she walked over to the wedding pavilion accompanied by Annie, Lou, Lisa, Casey, Robin, Amy and Erma for her final inspection. They walked the large open tent and looked at the tables, the small stage where the ceremony would be held. It wasn't quiet as there were crews still setting up. The air smelled like roses and white and blue lilacs which were both the table centerpieces and set up around the stage. Off to one side the band was setting up and on the other side the kitchen staff was busy getting things ready for service. Georgie looked out at the meadow where she could see a dozen handsome thoroughbreds wandering while Bryce was leading a second dozen onto a further field.

"What do you think Georgie ?" Lou asked.

"It looks amazing, like a dream. This really is the perfect spot Amy."

"I always thought it would, I've always loved this part of the ranch, we used to picnic here all the time when the kids were younger."

"Sorry you didn't get married in the spring ?"

"No Lou, I loved my wedding but I always dreamed the girls would be married out here and I'm thrilled you took me up on the offer Georgie."

"Well, you couldn't have described it any better." She answered as they turned when two other SUV's pulled up.

"Brin and Meg are here Georgie, time to start getting ready. Wyatt's crew should be here in about a half hour." Erma said checking her iPad.

They had fully expanded both motorhomes with Georgie getting the master bedroom to herself. The other two expansions would be where the others in the wedding party would dress and get ready if they were staying rather than heading back to the main compound for their preparations. Assorted snacks, cold drinks and champagne were readily available. Several floral bouquets added to the festive nature of the occasion.

Meg and Brin had set up in Georgie's room. They'd be doing her hair and make-up and would be around to help others with theirs once Georgie was ready.

Once inside Erma took over. "Georgie, have something to eat and drink before they start getting you ready. No champagne or coffee until after the ceremony."

"How much time do we have Erma ?" Georgie asked when Lou sat her down at the small table.

"About 2 hours until guests are seated, they'll start bringing them over in about an hour. Plenty of time, Mathilde and Sebastian will be here in about 60 minutes to start getting the dress ready. Sit and eat Georgie." Erma said heading out the door to some task or other.

She was hungry but not famished and chose a few scoops of assorted prepared salads and a toasted bagel along with a bottle of water. Amy and Lou sat with her as several others wandered out and over to see either the horses or Wyatt's bus and the set-up they had leaving Georgie alone with her small inner circle, more to keep her calm than anything else.

"It's a beautiful day for a wedding Georgie." Amy said picking at a plate she made for herself.

"How hot will it be you think ?"

"70's at the height of the afternoon, heat really shouldn't be an issue and there are exhaust fans in the parapets if the heat builds up in the tents. Leave it to Erma."

With just about an hour to go and Georgie having eaten something Meg came out and smiled. "Let's start on your hair Georgie and I'll help the rest when Brin's making you up."

"Let me just wash up Meg, give me a sec." Georgie said taking a deep breath and heading into the bathroom.

"Wash your face with soap Georgie and give it a good rinse." Brin said as Georgie closed the door.

She chose to keep her hair long and down for the wedding and together with Meg, Lou and the twins chose a loose half updo with pearls which would keep her hair long but out of the way and keep her face exposed. Her hair was trimmed especially for this style the day before at the spa. Her bouquet would be white roses scattered with blue, Forget Me Nots and a flower called Love in Mist which Georgie fell in love with when she saw them, a delicate blue flower with a white center and a sweet aroma that went well with the natural scent of the roses. The make-up plan with Brin would use gold to highlight her eyes which would work great with the blue floral accents and the vintage lace of the wedding gown.

She'd be wearing the Mabe Pearl earring and necklace set Amy wore at her wedding and Amy's Diamond Patek watch on one hand and Lou's charm bracelet on the other as her something old though the earring and brooch set certainly qualified.

It took about 40 minutes to get Georgie's hair done. Meg started with a curling iron and spent the most time on setting the light updo with the pearls. Georgie could watch bits and pieces of what she was doing in the full mirror set up but just couldn't get the whole picture especially the back with the pearls until Meg was done and pulled the loosely braided stretch across the top. She was thrilled when Meg was done and turned and hugged her as it was almost exactly what she had chosen.

"Take a few minutes and relax Georgie, have a bottle of water and I'll grab Brin."

Once the door was opened several people poked their heads in including Katie and the twins who came in smiling. "How are you doing Georgie, your hair looks amazing."

"Thanks Katie, I love your dress, all your dresses."

"Your dress is here by the way, and dad's in Wyatt's bus. I told him I'd get him when you were dressed."

"That would be great Katie, how's mom doing ?"

"Anxious. Annie and Casey are keeping her together, you know mom."

"Did you see Wyatt ?"

"Fidgety."

Georgie smiled "it's how he gets, who's with him ?"

"Ty, his mom and Mitch, Brick's there, Charlie and Chuck, he's covered."

"Where's Robin ?"

"With Erma looking around, she was here while your hair was getting done, should I get her ?"

"I'm here, I'm here.' Robin said at that moment walking in. "Oh Georgie, your hair is just like the picture, it's beautiful. You Ok ?"

"I think so, probably won't hit me until they're lifting the dress over my head."

"Ready Georgie ?" Brin asked stepping in.

"All yours Brin."

Brin nodded and walked over to Maddie "Sorry Sweetie, I have to work and you are too much of a distraction in that gown."

"We'll all go." Katie said following the twins out.

"Stay or go Brin ? Georgie."

"Can she stay Brin ?"

"Oh, you can stay Robin, no problem."

Brin started by cleaning Georgie's face with rounds of pads designed to take care of any naturally occurring oils before starting on the very light foundation they had chosen. Next up was a powder blush called Cameo which highlighted her high cheekbones and dimples. Brin touched up her brows next. They'd been trimmed and plucked at the spa the day before so Brin didn't fuss before moving on to to gold flecked eye shadow and the gold accents Brin added to shape Georgie's almond shaped eyes. Lastly a matching Cameo lipstick that Brin gently brushed on. She spent a couple minutes studying Georgie's face, touched up two spots and grabbed for the hand held mirror to show her subject.

"That's amazing Sabrina, it's perfect, thank you so much."

Sabrina smiled and nodded "You're very welcome Georgie, you'll be an absolutely stunning bride. Robin ?"

"It's beautiful Brin, you're beautiful Georgie."

Sabrina took a few seconds to grab everything she used into a small bag that she would have close by through the wedding. "Mom and I'll touch you up back here before the first dance Georgie, I'll let Mathilde know you're ready. Hug ?"

Georgie smiled and hugged her before Brin stepped to the door. "See you afterward Georgie, remember to breath, I think I have to play now."

"I'm going to check the other side Georgie, I'll be back in a few minutes." Robin said "You'll be Ok ?"

"I'm great Rob, tell Wyatt I love him very much.'

"I sure will, here's Mathilde."

Mathilde came in wheeling the dress on a wire form followed by Lou and Annie.

"Oh, I need Amy first, alone please."

"Georgie ?"

"Please mom, 2 minutes."

Lou and Annie walked out and Amy walked in a moment later. "Georgie ?"

"Shut the door and help me with this garter and stockings please."

"Go pee first, trust me that'll help for later."

"Makes sense, I'll be right out."

Amy sat on the edge of the bed watching Mathilde fluff out the dress and check the seams, probably for the millionth time until Georgie came out "Ok, garter."

Amy laughed, "it goes on like a bra with hooks in the back."

"I got that part it's hooking them to the stockings."

"Get it on and I'll get the backs for you."

"I could have helped Georgie, I've dressed a 100 brides."

"I know Mathilde, Amy calms me down."

"There Georgie, now do the fronts. That's it through the tab and down and now stand and straighten them out, perfect."

Georgie took a deep breath "Ok, ready, get the mom's, let's get me suited up."

Her tea not half finished Amy couldn't stifle the yawn and everybody in the library both saw and heard it. She smiled and blushed. "Sorry, I was hoping to see the kids but if I'm to make an appearance at Georgie's shindig tonight I need a nap. Betty, Ty should be back soon could you ask him to wake me at 6 please."

"I'll make sure of it sweetheart, have a good nap."

To her it felt like no time at all when Ty's hands on her cheek and belly woke her. She didn't open her eyes at first but smiled and placed her hands over his "kiss please."

"Go ahead, I can wait for a kiss." Jackson said as Ty leaned over and kissed her gently.

"Jackson ?" Amy said finally opening her eyes.

"Sally's here to take me back for the night, gran checked my bag and I wanted to say goodnight."

Amy shooed Ty to the side and turned to sit up on the edge of the bed. "Come here and give me a hug my love." She said opening her arms as Jackson fit himself into her embrace. "You behave yourself and listen to Sally please and I'll see you after school tomorrow. I love you JT."

"I love you too mom, Sally says hi by the way and she'll see you tomorrow."

"Say hi back sweetheart, go on scoot."

"Hug." Jackson said lifting his arms to Ty who was watching him.

Ty smiled and leaned over for his hug "go on, Sally's waited enough."

"I have to pee, can you wait ?"

"I have time before I have to meet anyone. Something important ?" He said as Amy made her way across the room.

Amy called out from the bathroom "No, we haven't spent any time together is all."

"Then we have now." He said making his way to his leather arm chair.

Amy washed her hands and came out towards her own chair and then stopped only to walk an extra step to sit on Ty's lap.

He smiled as his arms wrapped around her, "hello wife."

"Hello sweet husband." She said leaning her head up to catch his lips on hers. "How"s your day been ?"

"It's worse reading veterinary essays than writing them."

"It's a necessary evil to teaching sweetheart." Amy said kissing him again and then standing with a little help from Ty and moving to her own chair.

"That's what Bert said."

"Was he grading ?"

"Funnily enough he handed them all to me, apparently they give him a headache."

"I considered handing mine to Georgie." Amy muttered.

"The seconds all passed with honors in case you hadn't heard."

"So did Wyatt according to Charlie, we're not supposed to know about that one."

"Mallory and the rest of the Alberta crew coming in tomorrow I guess"

"Mallory's flying in with full suitcases and leaving with mostly empty ones. Less stuff to drive up I guess. I guess I should get changed, I hear the girls." Which she said simultaneously with a text coming in from Betty letting her know that this girls were on there way up to get washed and changed.

She was going to have Ty call the girls in but before she could there was a low knock on the door.

"Come." Amy answered as the door opened and the dogs rushed in followed by the girls at a more even pace.

"Hey mom, Pappa, everything good ?"

"Everything's great Charlie." Amy answered "We'll go at 7, did you eat something ?"

"We had snacks, we're good." Maddie said "you feeling ok ?"

"I'm fine, just got up from a nap, I'm going to grab a quick shower and get dressed, you two should do the same. How are my horses ?"

"Pretty happy, lot of trail rides for the regulars and we're ready for a new batch of rescues."

"They do love the attention, are we picking up Brin ?"

"Dropping off, she's at Erma's practicing with April so they'll bring Brin when they come. How late are we staying ?"

"Not too late Mad, school tomorrow, figure we'll say our good byes to be home by 10. Go on, get ready."

Amy settled onto a loveseat next to Erma who had come to Georgie's bachelorette party accompanying April who Georgie invited with Erma's permission. Georgie had asked April to be her flower girl once they decided Jackson would be the ring bearer.

"That's a goodly amount of food sis."

"I'm hungry and these guys want food all the time." Amy said taking a bite of her sandwich.

"Eat away, I don't think I stopped at all with Kimmie."

Amy laughed "you did eat a lot, oh well, my weight and fundal length is good according to Miriam and I'm all about that staying the case. This is good potato salad."

"Yvette adds pickle juice to the mayo."

"Hmmmm, pickle juice huh, I'll mention that to Betty. So 2 calves so far."

"They're absolutely adorable but they all are I guess. Going to be busy over the next few weeks."

"You let us know if you need help Erma, we've all birthed calves, Grandpa and Ty, who knows how many at this point. Georgie too."

"How is Jack, you know after the procedure."

"He's doing great, Trish checked him yesterday, all normal and he'd love to give you a hand."

"I'll let August know, he really loves Jack, reminds him of his dad."

"They have doughnuts." April said walking over holding Brin's hand "may I have one ?"

Erma smiled "Yes you may and a cup of milk and then I think we should probably get ready to go."

"Is it an hour ?"

"It will be soon sweetie." Brin said.

"Ok."

"Thanks Brin." Erma said with a small "you two all set for your song ?"

"I'll be by for another practice tomorrow but we're ready."

"Song ?"

"April and I are preparing a song for the wedding."

"That's sweet Brin, what song ?"

"That's a secret." April said "doughnut please."

Brin giggled "come on April, I'll help."

"Her and Brin make quite the pair."

"They've always been like that, Brin has a way with kids. She's been spending time with Robin and Georgie too and that horse Isabelle and Georgie's working with her reining for the hunters."

"That's right, the twins told me they're helping Jackson and Bobby's helping Cars."

"I like the separation of effort, the girls idea I hear."

Amy nodded "I hadn't heard but it makes sense. I trained them separately."

"I remember you saying it was weird."

"Seems I'll be doing that again." She said patting her belly.

"I'm sure you'll have tons of help this time around."

"First comes the battle of me getting them on horses 18 years before Ty thinks it's Ok."

"Oh he won't be so bad."

"We'll see, I guess it's time for you to go." Amy said as Brin walked April over.

"We have to say goodbye to Georgie."

Erma smiled "then let's you and I go find her and we get you to bed."

"Ok, bye Brin, thanks for staying with me."

"It was my pleasure April, see you tomorrow after school ?"

"Yup, last practice."

Brin smiled and nodded and leaned over to hug Erma, "Friday brownies ?"

"Friday brownies, night Brin."

Erma wouldn't let Amy get up for a hug and instead leaned over "good night sis, see you tomorrow."

"Good night Erma, night April."

"Goodnight Amy."

Amy watched Erma open the door and smile. "Georgie, do you know these people ?"

"Who's that ? I thought everybody was here." Georgie called back walking over.

"Katie !" Georgie exclaimed "I thought you guys were all coming tomorrow."

"Mom arranged it, she didn't like that we weren't here for this." Katie explained coming through the door.

Katie was first and followed by Jade, Sloane and Casey. Georgie hugged each as they came in.

"Good surprise Georgie ?"

"Amazing mom, thanks so much."

"It was only right Georgie, we figured it out and the school agreed that your wedding in NY and Brick and Katie missing a day at this stage wasn't the worst thing in the world so ….."

Amy had gotten up and stood to the side when Katie noticed her smiling and waiting for her hug.

"Oh, look at you !" Katie exclaimed with a huge smile mimicking Amy's. "You look amazing, how do you feel ?"

"I feel good Katie, a little slower than I was. You're Ok I guess ?"

They were interrupted by Casey who just moved in for a hug, "how are you sweetheart, I'm so sorry I couldn't come earlier."

"I'm fine Case, how are you and dad doing ?"

"We're doing great Amy."

They were now interrupted by Lisa, the girls and Jen who made sure that Brick was fine and deposited with Ty and Jack at Wyatt's party just next door at Charlie's house.

Both Mitch and Tim were holding down the fort and coming in Friday afternoon.

Once the hellos and hugs were meted out Amy wandered over and grabbed a donut and a cup of milk and settled back into the little sitting area she had occupied with Erma and took a sip of milk after a bite of donut.

"Mind if I join you ?" Lisa asked.

Amy smiled "I didn't even see you there, of course Lisa." She said patting the chair beside her.

"What are thinking about ?"

"I'm just looking at Georgie, well all of these women really, when I was her age I had no idea what direction my life would take. My girls are the same age I was when my Mom died and Ty showed up. I thought Ashley was positively evil and Georgie, she's so together, so sure of herself and what shes about to do."

"Well, you two didn't make it easy on yourselves and Georgie has it somewhat easier because of you, as do your girls. Your growth as a person spurs theirs on, you should take pride in that Amy, you've become strong and a lot of women look to you as a mentor."

"Something I never expected I guess."

"But nonetheless, a mantle you have taken on and that suits you."

"Excited about the, what are we calling them, upgrades ?"

"You have no idea how happy I will be to lower myself into my own tub with unlimited hot water."

Amy nodded "I miss it, I'm not a warm water person when it comes to bathing."

"Hot showers though."

"Not the same but yes and they are enjoyable. The pool will be nice."

"Spa tomorrow, remember last summer, it seems so long ago, we went to the spa together."

"That's true, that was a nice day."

"It was, Ty wasn't even here yet, seems weird to think about it. I should start gathering the girls, it's time."

Saturday dawned beautifully, no rain was expected, lightly cloudy with a high in the mid-70's. You couldn't have ordered a more perfect display. The tent was huge with two pinnacles, and all four sides were opened. The meadow they were in was actually a knoll, rising just a few feet above the meadows surrounding it. There were constant refreshing breezes that ran through the tent. At any time and from any side you could see horses grazing quietly and if lucky, see one drop to the ground and frolic a bit on the grass or simply go to sleep. Off to the side there was a small grove of pink flower laden apple trees and in the distance dozens with flowers whose color ran from white to pink.

The table flowers were planters of tulips and early lilies set together but able to be separated. A note on each plate explained that guests should feel free to take and plant a flower and those that were left would find a place close to Wyatt and Georgie so that they could visit it and remember this day.

Among all the highlights of the day, the most unexpected was a performance by April Potter and Sabrina Caldwell which came during a lull in the festivities, the entrée, where not surprisingly the most ordered dish was Fried Chicken and Waffles followed closely by the Vegan Pasta Bolognese.

The teens had volunteered to have the younger kids at their table to leave the adults free to relax so when Erma nodded to Brin all Brin had to do was smile at April to get her response.

"It's time ?"

"It's time sweetie, you ready ?"

April stood and nodded "ready !"

They walked hand in hand over to the piano which everyone seemed to notice and then Brin had to adjust the stool for April. Ever the performer Brin decided to talk. "So this piece will technically be what is known as piano four hands or in À quatre mains, in French, Zu vier Händen or Vierhändig, in German or A Quattro Mani in Italian which is a type of piano duet involving two players playing the same piano simultaneously. The more popular duet is where the players play separate instruments and is generally referred to as a piano duo. Ok, I guess we're ready, April and I looked at and listened to a lot of music before picking this song but we both loved it so much. Here goes."

Brin had rewritten the music of their choice "Can you Feel the Love Tonight ?" From "The Lion King" to a more elementary piano piece where although she would obviously lead the piece there were parts where she stayed back and April took the lead. Brin sang for the most of the piece with April soloing on just two lines of the chorus "And can you feel the love tonight, It is where we are" which was lovingly received by the crowd with happy sighs.

Can You Feel the Love Tonight lyrics © Wonderland Music Co. Inc., Wonderland Music Company Inc.)

"There's a calm surrender
To the rush of day
When the heat of a rolling wind
Can be turned away
An enchanted moment
And it sees me through
It's enough for this restless warrior
Just to be with you

And can you feel the love tonight?
It is where we are

It's enough for this wide-eyed wanderer
That we got this far

And can you feel the love tonight
How it's laid to rest?
It's enough to make kings and vagabondsBelieve the very best

There's a time for everyone
If they only learn
That the twisting kaleidoscope. Moves us all in turn
There's a rhyme and reason To the wild outdoors
When the heart of this star-crossed voyager Beats in time with yours

And can you feel the love tonight?
It is where we are

It's enough for this wide-eyed wanderer
That we got this far

And can you feel the love tonight
How it's laid to rest?

It's enough to make kings and vagabonds
Believe the very best
It's enough to make kings and vagabonds
Believe the very best"

The evening ended after a wonderful display of donuts and other sweets were rolled out accompanied by a gourmet coffee station and after dinner drinks. Georgie and Wyatt were walked to the Mustang by Jen, Mitch, Lou, Peter, Annie, Ty and Amy. The car was spotless and detailed and waiting for the short trip around the ranch and over to the treehouse.

The newlyweds hugged each of them and thanked them all for the beautiful wedding which was everything she had ever imagined. They'd rejoin the family for breakfast at the ranch house in the morning as Amy and Ty did at their wedding. They'd leave after for the Adirondack home for the week before heading to Canada.

The small luxury buses were on their way bringing the guests to their cars, while the family said their goodnights. Amy and Ty sat at an empty table with August and Erma waiting for the last bus. Betty and the girls had already left with Jackson and April who was staying over.

"I guess the girls will be next."

"Not for awhile yet August." Amy started "when does all this disappear Erma ?"

"You're impossible you know that, first thing in the morning it'll all be gone."

They wandered over to the kitchen tent to say goodnight to Pavel and Yvette whose crew was packing any leftover foodstuffs into a truck. The used pots and dinnerware were already gone. They'd leave the warmers, ovens and portable sinks to be taken away in the morning.

Back at the house they found the girls settling in with Katie in the spare room and Jackson and April fast asleep on sleeping bags in the center of his room. Amy sat and removed her makeup and brushed out her hair before heading to the bathroom for a good wash. She smiled coming out in her pajamas seeing that Ty was already in bed and slid under the blanket into his waiting arms.

"They looked so happy together." Amy said leaning back against him.

"They've put a lot into getting to this day. I'm happy for them."

"What do you have planned for tomorrow my love."

"Fishing at dusk with Jackson and Cars, I guess rounds before that, breakfast with the family and seeing Georgie off. You ?"

"No fishing but the rest sounds pretty accurate with some paperwork thrown in. I think I'll try to take it easy and get my breath. Shopping later in the week."

He sighed "well I like the taking it easy part."

She giggled "Ty you really have to stop the hovering, I'm not the first pregnant woman in history."

"You're the one I'm married to and and I'm not hovering, I just ….."

"I know sweetheart, I love you too, sleep now."

Ty sighed, his eyes were already closed, "sleep sounds good."
