Lynn's POV:

We landed in the desest sector in front of a Way Tower. "No sign of Xana." I scanned the area for monsters. Xana likes to switch things up, keeping us on our toes. Sometimes monsters will attack the moment we're virtized. Other times, they'll ambush us. Now might be one of those times.

"Don't let your guard down." Kya ordered. "We might have the advantage now, but it won't take long for Xana to realize we're on Lyoko."

"Than let's get moving!" Alexei began running in a random direaction. Implusive as usual.

"Do you even know where to go?" I called to him.

Alexei came to a stop. "Oh right." He looked upward. "How about some directions and a ride, Kya?"

"Get to the edge of the sector. She's been pinned down by kranlets." There was a short pause. "Cam still hasn't taught me how to bring up the vechiles. Looks like your going on foot."

"For the last time Mara. I haven't seen Alexei since our last class." Cam said for the fifth time. He tried to step around Mara, only to have her block him. "I don't have time for this Mara!" It would be just his luck that Mara cornered him outside of the library. He made a mental note to be less predictable. Everyone in their grade knew Cam could be found in the library when he wasn't with his friends. So Mara finding him wasn't that surpising. She'd found him there before. However, those times didn't involve a Xana attack.

Narrowing her eyes at Cam, Mara crossed her arms. "If I stick with you, I'll run into Alexei eventually." There wasn't play practice today, which lowered her chances of seeing Alexei. She convinced Alexei to aduince for the play in hopes of spending more time with him. Sly Alexei signed up for stage crew instead of aduincing. Not what she'd planned, but she still got to see him during pratice, since he was to busy any other time.

"We're not glued to the hip Mara." Cam groaned. "Alexei has his own hobbies and other friends. I see him even less than you do."

Mara rolled her eyes. "Like I'd believe that."

Cam shook his head. The one time he isn't lying to her and she doesn't believe him. "I'm sure you've noticed our 'group' has been spending time together less often lately." After materializing Emi, the groups' indiviual schudles had grown increasingly busy. Lynn was leaving school almost every afternoon to meet with AD. Kya's practices have increased. Alexei's helping with the play. While Emi's been adjusting to her new life and attending a different school. Cam, himself, has been working on everything from debugging the materializion program to completing the vechiles. With the discovery of three additional sectors, he's been trying to gather data on them. Not to mention updating the sub-hacking progams. The improved Locator program has been the only thing he's managed to check off his to due list.

"Doesn't matter." Mara smirked. "He'll show up at some point."

So talking to her isn't going to work. Time for plan B. "Fine, follow me." Cam shrugged, pretending to not care. "Alexei will love that your stalking, instead of studying." He readjusted his bag on his shoulder. "Guess he won't be going shopping with you. Since, you'll be taking review classes with Mr. Z if you fail the next test."

Mara's eyes went wide. "Not fair!"

Cam smirked. "How's that unfair? Mr. Z announced to the entire class that any one who fails the next test will be spending their Saturdays reviewing with him."

Mara's habit of not studying was no serect. If Ally wasn't nagging her to do her homework, Mara tried to push the work onto others. As a result, her grades were 'passable'. "You know Mr. Z has a no fail poicly. He's only trying to help his students." Cam added.

Mara couldn't aruge. Mr. Z wanted his students to successed. To ensure this, there was an unwritten rule. Those who failed two tests, attended weekend study seesions with Mr. Z until the next test. That would mean spending even less time with Alexei.

"Fine, I'll leave." Mara grumpled. "Tell Alexei not to cancel our plans for this weekend." She than left without another word.

Cam waited till she was out of sight before making his way to the manison. Arriving at the clearing, Cam ducked behind a tree. An unknown man blocked the way. Cam peeked out, getting a better look, he noticed Xana's symbol.

Shaking his head, he retraced his steps back to the school. Once there, he quickly made his way to the gym. From there, he found the basement enterance to the access tunnels. Mr. C had revealed the existion of this area the night of the school dance when Xana had sent kranlets to the real world. Thanks to Mr. C's information, the Lyoko Defenders had been able to make it to he manison to deactivate the tower. Since then, this would be the first time any of them would use it. While it was closer than the enterance in the woods, it was also easier for someone to spot them. They couldn't risk that and agreed to only use this enterance point if there was no other choice.

As he made his way to the manison, Cam sent a text to Kya giving her an update. Moment later, his cell rung. "Hurry Cam, I don't think they'll make it in time." Kya's voice may have sounded calm, but Cam could hear the underline panic. "Emi's just been sent to Sector 5. The guys have been battling a wave of hornets to get there."

"I'm almost there Kya." Cam reassured her. "Try to buy sometime until I arrive."

Kya gave a huff, assuring she'd do her best. There was only so much she could do from the lab. She was better suited to battles on Lyoko than working the supercomputer. However, she knew this role was just as important. If not more so. Until Cam arrived, she'd be supporting Alexei and Lynn as best she could.

Alexei's POV:

"Anytime now Kya." Lynn dodged a stray laser, than tossed his charkam. The cirular weapon slice through the hornet, before returning to him. "We're having a blast!"

"Oh hush." Kya ordered. "Let's see you try montioring for any sign of Xana's attack, while contacting someone, and guiding you guys on Lyoko. It ain't easy!"

My sai made quick work of the remaining two hornets in time for another wave to arrive. "Enough brickering, more typing!" Honestly, that's something me and Cam would be doing. The two of them doing it isn't funny when we're on Lyoko. Espcailly when it's a race against the clock. Emi's in Sector 5 alone. We've only been there once. There are so many things we have et to discover from there.

"Got it!" Kya cheered as the transporter came. It scooped us up, traveling through Lyoko until we reached the enterance of Sector 5. When waited until a path opened, than dashed inside.

"Where's Emi?" I asked, as we entered into the labyrinth that is Sector 5. "Woah." I stopped just outside of labyrinth. The layout had completely changed from how it was last time. New twist and corrdoirs awaited us. "How are we suppose to nagivate our way through this!?"

"Relax, Cam said there's a map I can use to guide you." Kya announced. "Problem is, I can't find it."

"So we're gonna run around blind?" Even for me that's to reckless. Xana's gotten strong enough to create new monsters and different ways to attack. Who knows what else could be hidden inside. "Can you aleast see Emi?"

"She's directly ahead of you..in a sense." Kya answered. "To bad you can't just climb through the wall to get there."

Lynn placed his hand on the wall in front of us. Closing his head, he spoke. "Forcefully activating Eagle's Eye isn't a good idea in this unknown sector. However, I can use it to get an idea of the layout." Eagle's Eye's a create ability that allows Lynn to see enemies before they arrive. It a passive skill through, which means it actives randomly. Lynn can forcefully active it, however it can be painful and puts a strain on his body. He won't be able to move for a few mintues, leaving him defenseless.

"Got it." Opening his eyes, Lynn turned to me. "There's no way we'll make it to her location before theScyphozoa does." He looked upwards. "Tell Emi take the path on her right. There'll be some monsters, but it'll take her in the opposite direction of theScyphozoa."

"Okay. I'll try to help Emi avoid monsters, while you guys make your way towards her." Kya stated.

"Lead the way." I hope Lynn can lead us to Emi before Xana gets to her.

Emi's POV:

Waking up in Sector 5 is on list of least fun things to do, right under Scyphozoa. To say I was annoyed and scared would be an understatement. This is the second time Xana's gotten me to Sector 5. It is, however, the first time he's gotten me onto Lyoko. Either way, this isn't good.

"I can't stay here. I've gotta find away out." I thought aloud, as I looked at the four paths before me. After getting out of the transport, I exited the dome to find myself in a labyrinth.

"Take the right path." Kya's voice suddenly ordered.

"Kya is that you?" I asked.

"Yes, it's me." Kya answered. "Cam's on his way, while Alexei and Lynn are headed towards you. Sine I'm still figuring out how bring up a trackinh map. Lynn will use Eagle Eye to locate you. Until than, I'll guide you away from the Scyphozoa. Just be careful of other monsters."

The labyrith of Sector 5 had many twists and turns. Pathways lead to more paths or deadends. Thanks to Kya, I was able to avoid the room with the Scyphozoa. Trade off, was more encounters with monsters.

"Emi, take the path on the left!" Kya instructed. "The guys should come out on the other side."

"Tell them to hurry, everything's starting to change." As I moved towards the life most path.

To late, a corrdoir opened. Several Creepiers emerged, firing lasers and forcing me to retreat.

"It's not nice to attack guests." Alexei's voice alerted his arrival. Two shruiken flew through the air destorying two Creepiers. "Next time you seek adverture, remember to bring your Knight with you." Alexei joked, before taking out another Creepier.

"Enough of your bad flirting, Alexei. We need to get out of here." Lynn held his hand out for his chakram. "Take Emi and run. I'll home them off."

"Yes, that's a great idea. Take Emi and run through the unexplore sector that's full of monsters." Alexei said saracaically.

"Your not funny." Lynn moved in front of me, blocking incoming lasers.

Lynn played defense, protecting me and himself as Alexei took out the remaining Creepiers. Their team work made quick work of the monsters. More began to enter the room, luckily the room finished changing, sealing off that enterance.

"We've from Mi'lady, now let's get out of here." Alexei shealthed his sais. "Lead us out Kya."

"About that..." Kya's tone wasn't good. She sounded confused and annoyed. "Your on your own. I'm still trying to get the map up. I can't guide you out without it. Your best chance to is to head back to the dome."

The three of us looked around the room. Everything was completely different from when we entered. Chances are, the way back is either blocked off or different from when we first entered. Going back that way isn't an option.

"Who knows how the layout's changed." Lynn stated.

"He's right." I agreed. "Kya we can't go that way even if we wanted to. It's been sealed off now that the rooms changed. There's only one way out now."

"Guys this isn't all bad. We wanted to explore Sector 5 anyway, now we've got the chance." Alexei suggested.

"Yes, by all means. Take a lesuriely stroll in an unknown sector while there's an actived tower and no Cam to help us if something happens." Kya sighed. "Lynn do you think Eagle Eye can help?"

"I'd rather not use it." Lynn stated. Forcefully activating Eagle Eye phyiscally drains Lynn and sometimes causes him pain. It's best avoid forceful activation. "But we've got no other choose."

"Sorry Lynn. Cam will be here soon." Kya wished she could do more than helplessly sit at the computer. She wanted to do something useful. Until Cam arrived, the best she could do was guide her friends through the dangers of Lyoko.

The elevator clunked open, drawing Kya's attention. She waited with baited breath for someone to step out. At best it would be came, worst Xana.

"What's the situtation?" Cam rushed out of the elevator.

Kya turned back to the screen to find it blank. "What happened? They were looking for an exit after meeting up with Emi." She frantically entered every command she could think of.

"Calm down." Cam calmly ushered Kya out of the chair. "Head for the scanners. You'll head for the activated tower first. The others will meet you there." Working his 'magic', Cam brought up the screen and map. "Hey guys."

"Nice to hear from you General." Alexei deflected a laser. "Kindly, GET US OUT OF HERE!"

The guys palced Emi between them. Creepiers swarmed them from every angle. The jadded edges of the corridor provided the Creepiers with an advangit point to attack. Lynn's charkam was their best weapon against those to far for Alexei's sais to reach. Even his shuriken could only reach so far.

"There's another exit not to far. Take the path that's behind you." Cam guided. He contiued to guide his friends through the labrythrin of Sector 5, while starting the virtualiztion program for Kya. "The elevator will you to a Celestail Dome, the exit's there."

Alexei drew the attention of the Creepiers, letting Emi and Lynn escpae first. The two made their way into another opening that led out into a cliff. Lynn pulled Emi to a stop before she could fall off. "That must be the elevator." Lynn pointed to the platform that zoomed by.

"What are you two waiting for? An invite?" Alexei dashed into the opening, knocking into Emi and Lynn. The three fell onto the platform.

Lynn glared daggers at Alexei. "Be more careful! You klutz!"

Alexei rolled his eyes, "Yesh. Someone's missed his naptime."

Emi glanced between the two, shaking her head. "Look, the exit." She pointed to the new path the elevator had stopped at. She hopped off first, ingoring the guy's protest. Lynn and Alexei dashed after her.

"Cam, there's nothing here." Alexei was suripsed. The path lead to a single platform outside of the doom that overlooked a void below. "Now what?"

"Wrong again Alexei, look." Lynn pointed Emi.

Emi examined the interface at the platform's edge. "Cam there's an interface here. I might be able to access information from it." Not waiting for Cam's answer, she accessed the interface. On the surface, it was simliar to the one's she used in the towers and Lyoko. However, it was far more complex. Code after code redirected anything she searched. Emi had to find back doors to find information without being redirected. The process felt slow, but was suripsingly fast. Maybe it was because Sector 5 was deep within Lyoko? Sector 5 could be a hub of information. "Woah, Cam you won't believe this. Sector 5 is where Xana lives!"

"Are you sure Emi?" Cam asked. "That would make Sector 5 highly dangerous."

Emi nodded, "It's true. There's programs and information I've never seen before, along with things I normally can't access from the towers. Not to mention there's several codes only seen when Xana attacks."

Alexei sighed, "So we've been walking right into Xana's home?"

"How about we discuss this later? Look!" Lynn pointed to the binary code on the walls. Abulge pushed out of the wall, forming manta like shape. "Cam, we need to get out of here. Now!"

"I'm trying to bring your vechile up." Cam typed in the code for the vechiles, but was met with several error signs. "I can't use the supercomputer while Emi's using the interface."

"Mi'lady." Alexei glanced at Emi. "We need to leave."

"Another moment." Emi ingored her friends' pleas. This was a rare opputiny! Xana was a powerful enemy that was evolving. Any info they could get would help. "We might never get another chance."

Mantas emerged from the wall, towards the group. Lynn and Alexei took up defensive postions on either side of Emi. Because the mantas flew, Alexei's sais were useless in attacking. This left Lynn to both defend and attack.

"Emi, we'll come back another time." Cam explained. "But we can't if everyone get's trapped by Xana."

"Not to mention there's a tower to deactivate." Lynn reminded. "How're things in the lab?"

Cam checked the manison's camaras. "Not good, our friend's made is way to the manison." He switched commication to Kya, who was in the desert sector. "Kya, you need to clear a path to the tower. We don't have much time."

"Easy for you to say, your not pinned down!" Kya peeked over the blounder to see two krabs had joined the group of kranlets attacking her. "It'd be easier if I more moblivaty."

"I'm trying." Cam returned commincation to Sector 5, seeing that more mantas were about to emerge. "Emi!"

"And done!" Emi logged off the interface. "All your's Cam."

"Two vechiles coming up." Cam entered the command for two cyberbikes, than gave Kya her cyberjet. "We don't have much time. I'll open one of the data tunnels."

Alexei hopped on his cyberbike with Emi, while Lynn had already taken off. It took Alexei a moment to rememeber that teh cyberbikes had a second form that allowed them flight. The two front and two back wheels merged to form one wheel in the front and back. Both wheels than came out to lay flat on there sides. This created the force that allowed the cyberbikes flight.

Lynn tossed his chakram, destorying a manta that followed Alexei. It wasn't enough. Two more circled around to attack the friends. Alexei used one hand to parry lasers and another to pliot the cyberbike. "We're getting on where at this rate." Alexei streeled the cyberbike over to Lynn. "Take Emi, I'll distract them."

"Your crazy." Emi was not about to jump off one bike in mid-flight to hopefully land on another.

"We don't have a chose." Alexei explained. "I can't fight at this distance. But getting closer is to risky with you. So off you go." He pushed Emi on Lynn's cyberbike. "Sorry, Emi. You'll forgive me."

Emi grumbled insults, as Lynn shot off towards the tunnel. He focused on deflecting lasers and avoiding mantas, leaving Alexei to do the fighting. Lynn's goal was to get Emi out of Sector 5 and to the tower.

Now that Emi was save with Lynn, Alexei could be his usual reckless self. Angleing the cyberbike over a manta, he jumped off. Two sais sliced into the eye on the manta's back. Alexei quickly pulled them out before the manta explosed it. Jumping off the manta, he landed back on the cyberbike. He repeated this tactic several more times, until only two mantas reminded. By this point, Lynn and Emi had made it to the tunnel. They hovered just beside it, waiting for it to open. Alexei tossed two shuriken at the remaining mantas, than caught up to his friends.

The tunnel opened, just as Alexei regrouped with Lynn and Emi. The two made their way through the tunnel, that let out into the desert sector.

"Where are they Cam!?" Kya forced the cyberjet to a stop, as the krab fired a laser. "I've got one krab left, than the tower will be open." She zoomed the cyberjet towards the krab, faking it out by doing a loop above it. The cyberjet twisted upside-down, allowing Kya to touch the krab's back. "Freeze!" Ice built up in her gloves and discharge onto the krab.

"I'm done." Kya landed the cyberjet.

"The others are almost there." Foucsed on the situation on Lyoko, Cam just noticed the man had entered the manison's library. "You've got to be kidding me." There was no time to stop him from above, meaning stopping the elevator was his only option. Five mintues would be the max the elevator would stop for, before restarting. They needed to deactivated the tower within that time frame.

Lynn was the first to arrive to Kya's location. He didn't make it totally to her, as a trantaula caught him off guard. Laster barreled into the cyberbike, destorying it and devituraizing Lynn. Kya rushed over on her cyberjet. Sheild activated, she protected both of them from lasers. Emi used the moment to get on the cyberjet Kya had jumped off of. Kya gestured for Emi to go as she attacked the trantaula. Powerful arms slammed into her, knocking her back.

Alexei pulled up, just as Kya was knocked down. He set the cyberbike on full speed, knocking the trantaula into the digital sea. As this was happening, Emi had reached the tower. Cam had deactivated the firewall moments before she arrived. Entering the tower, Emi was taken to a second platform here. She entered Code:Lyoko to stop Xana once again.

Back in the lab, Cam had activted the return to the past.

"Well that was fun." Alexei leaned against Kya's bed. "Turns out Sector 5's more dangerous than we thought." Once again, they'd repeated the school day thanks to Xana's attack. Now they sat in Kya's dorm at Kanna discussing their latest discovery. "What's the plan General?"

"There's so much to do, I don't even know where to begin." Cam sighed. "First, there's the new Island and Tundra sectors we're still investagting, along with Sector 5. Plus Emi's visions and debugging the materialzition program. Not to mention finishing the vechiles, analying the data we've managed to collect, and upgrading the sub-hacking programs." He continued to list everything they had to do. "Oh, there's also the mystery of the Heritmage and possbliy the mansion."

"There's also Xana's newest monsters; trantanulas, creepers, theScyphozoa, and now mantas." Emi explained.

"That's not including what he can do on earth." Kya groaned. "Possizing people and creating secptors! Does it ever end!"

Lynn glanced around the room. His friends were oddly, depressing. This wasn't like them. Sure things were bad, but it's not like they were completely clueless. "We're thinking about this all wrong." Grabbing pen and paper from his bag, he created a chart. "Divide and conquor, it's the only way to beat Xana."

On the right side of the chart, he listed everything Cam stated and than placed each of their names on the left. "Cam and Emi should foucs on everything techie, while Alexei and I continue searching the Heritmage and mansion. Yes, we've already searched the Heritmage and most of the manison, but I'm sure we've overlooked or missed something." He showed them the chart. "Meanwhile, Kya will support both groups and learn the nessarcy info for Sector 5. In case she ever has to guide us again."

"We should also plan when to explore both the three newest sectors." Alexei suggested. "Starting with Sector 5. It's Xana's home, I'm sure there's something we can learn from there."

Kya thought for a moment. "We should consider rotating roster for exploring." She held up a finger for each of her points as she explained her reasoning. "Two of us show go at a time to the Island and Tundra sectors in case there's an attack. Unless it's Sector 5, Emi shouldn't alway be going. At least for now."

Emi didn't like this idea, but understood it was nessarcy. She was the only one how could deacitave the towers. If something happened to her, they wouldn't be able to stop Xana. "If we're doing that, I think Cam and I should rotate guiding everyone." When everyone looked at her, she giggled. "Don't give me at look. If we're splittig up duties, we might as well include this into it. Think about it, even with my help, Cam can't do everything. I've worked with Cam enough to be able to help and I'm the only other one who can fully use the supercomputer."

"In other words, while one of us is guiding the exploration, the other is either resting or working on something else." Cam sighed. "Fine, let's begin tomorrow with searching the manison and working on completing the vechiles."

The four friends were surpised Cam gave in to splitting up most of his work. Each one of them knew how hard Cam worked, so they were happy to know he was relying on them more.

"And Alexei," Cam's smile worried Alexei for what he was about to say. "Mara's been looking for you. I told her where you are."

At that news, Lynn, Emi, and Kya raced out of Kya's dorm. None of them wanted to be there when Mara came to 'hangout' with Alexei.
