OK Everybody! Here is a sequel to the White Ronin so just so everybody's clear the events of The White Ronin happened in October of 2007 one year after the Mutant Animals gained civil rights in 2006 so now the story starts in the spring of 2008 almost two years have passed since the Mutants gained civil rights and hence why there has been plenty of time of the free mutants to start having a lot of 'Mutant Babies we make our dreams come true…' Sorry don't know what got a hold of me there!

After the 'White Ronin Incident' in the October of 2007, the Ninja Turtles along with the other cold-blooded mutants went to hibernate in Forest's Great 'Hibernation Tree' shortly after Christmas.

The other three Turtles noticed that Leo seemed WAY too anxious for hibernation this year. His brothers feared that after nearly getting his best students killed he just wanted to hide from the world and not even be conscious!

Donatello in particular felt incredibly guilty...He had been spending so much time of lot on First Earth being a husband and Father he felt like he had been neglecting not only his own family but his own 'people' so to speak the Mutant Animals of Third Earth who were not the same as the Humanimals of First Earth so even though he felt confident now that things would not turn out like they did in the world where Shredder took over he knew his family and his world still needed him for other things.

"I'm going to hibernate with my family this year…" Don said as he bid his Water Dragon-Wife Belladonna good-bye "...There is something about when we all hibernate together...Even if we don't remember a thing while we're hibernating there is something about waking up together in the Spring...Plus...I'm worried...I'm afraid that Leo...Might do something...Something cowardly...To run from his shame."
"I understand." Belladonna said as she nuzzled her husband "I have my own friends who can help me with Andromeda...And I'm not going to be drawn back to work no matter how much they beg at the radio station!"
When spring finally came the Mutant Animal Students gathered in front of the Dojo but it was still locked and no sign of any of the turtles anywhere...Then Stripes the Tiger noticed a note taped to the door, she unfolded it and read it...It was a message from Leo that he had been talking with Eleanor about it was time to open a REAL school for the purpose of teaching the new generation of Mutants who had been born in Forest reading, writing and arithmetic.

While this was true that they really should begin building a real school for the new generation of Mutants who had been born in these previous one and half years since Mutants first gained civil rights and it really showed that progress in developing their Mutant community really had stagnated...Many of the students particularly the youngest cubs who really idolized the Turtles really wanted to keep learning martial arts with Leonardo and the other turtles!

So most of the youngest cubs simply went back home as it seemed there would be no class today...But Stripes and the other 'Elites' the ones who unfortunately had to suffer the trials of the White Ronin went to the WVBA Gym to hang out with the Boxers, even though it wasn't their scheduled day to teach them...Since Leo's school wasn't open they would just hang out with the human boxers and tell them what happened.

When they explained what happened Rover the Timber Wolf noticed a look in the eyes of both Glass Joe and Von Kaiser...Neither of them said 'Good riddance' or anything equivalent to that but Rover knew they were both still very angry because of what nearly happened if they hadn't done everything they could to organize a rescue because Bacon Bit the Mutant Piglet was Von Kaiser's adopted daughter and Dana the Mutant Doberman who wasn't even Leo's student because she was an adult thus it was a sign the White Ronin overplayed his hand in asking for her...Even though Leo apologized profusely it was clear both the French and German Boxers felt they would never forgive the blue banded turtle for nearly getting the mutants they loved killed!

Bear Hugger the Boxer who Rover idolized the most must have been noticing the conflicting emotions in the young Wolf's face face and said "How about we take a break and just go for a walk? It's a nice and warm spring day after all!"
And so the Canadian Lumberjack and a Teenage Mutant Timber Wolf walked side by side in New York City and people just walked past treating it as if it was perfectly ordinary thing even though Mutants had only been walking freely for one and half years.

"You guys are of course my idols…" Rover said quietly "...But...Leo taught me a bunch of other stuff...You guys can teach me how to box but Leo taught me the way of the sword...We still need him Bill…"
Bear Hugger told Rover and Stripes that they could call him 'Bill' whenever they wanted because Bear Hugger is a bit of an awkward name.

"Rover…" Bear Hugger said "...We're pretty good chums...You're biggest fan. But we're not as close as Joe and Dana or Von Kaiser and Bacon Bit...Heck Aran Ryan and Goku are closer! Having that Pup to play with really has helped Aran calm down and Aran still hasn't given up his vow that if he ever gets the chance he'll sucker punch Leo if he ever shows his blue banded face where Aran can see it!"
"I know…" Rover said "...But we WERE the ones who nearly lost our lives so doesn't our opinion count for something?! I've talked with Dana and Bacon Bit and they're not nearly as angry about nearly getting killed as their human family members are! They understand why Leo felt he had to do as he was told! He and his brothers have had weird adventures thrown at them for nearly all their lives! I mean have you ever had a weird time traveling lady fall on you and take you to the Middle Ages? Or played with a weird artifact and ended up in a world of giant wasps?!"
"No I can't say I have…" Bear Hugger sighed "...And I guess that is why you Mutants are more forgiving aren't you? You understand the weirdness because quite frankly you are weirdness! Or part of the weirdness...You're part of the magic of this new world we're now living in so you understand it better than most humans do...And speaking of...Great Tiger hasn't been doing so well since the White Ronin incident either...He's basically had a...Crisis of faith…"
So what I wrote in the notebook wasn't long enough so I wrote my idea for Rover's conversation with Bear Hugger which does save more room in my notebook for more 'juicy' chapters also I really like that I'm showing Rover is becoming the leader of his group similar to Leo
