Chapter 1
Harry woke up on the last day of his 7th year. Harry was glad that he decided to return for his 7th and final year at Hogwarts. When he awoke, he was the first to be awake so he grabbed his robes and trunk as silently as possible and headed into the loo.
Once he was finished getting ready he woke Neville and Ron–His only roommates this year–and they got ready before grabbing their belongings and heading down to the common room. They met up with Ginny and Hermione before heading to the great hall. He admired how well they managed to get the school back in good condition after the battle.
When everyone had arrived in the great hall Professor Mcgonagall tapped her wand on the head table and the food appeared on the tables. Once everyone finished breakfast everyone except for Ginny, Ron, Harry, Hermione, Neville, Luna, Draco, George, Bill, Percy, Charle, Fleur, and Baby Teddy loaded onto the carriages to leave school. The people who remained made sure they had all the belongings they needed as well as Teddy's before heading to the Room of Requirement.
They all grabbed onto a time-turner as planned and traveled back to July 2nd, 1973. When they arrived they all grabbed their identification information before leaving the Room of Requirement. Then they headed to the gargoyle in front of the headmaster's office.
The gargoyle muttered "password" and Harry replied, "We're here to speak with the Headmaster about applying for teaching positions." The gargoyle muttered "One moment please" before muttering "Go ahead he's waiting for you."
Once everyone was in Professor Dumbledore's office Harry explained where they were from and what they were there to do. Dumbledore handed them some forms to sign to become professors and told them to list what position they would like to be the teacher for.
Everyone filled out the forms everyone's positions are: George for History Of Magic, Luna for Care Of Magical Creatures, Ron for a Quidditch director to help out during practices and help with the scheduling, Ginny and Harry for Defense Against The Dark Arts, Draco for Wizarding customs a class they all agreed needed to be included, Hermione for Muggle Studies, and Neville for a Herbology 1st-5th years while Sprout continued with NEWT level classes. Fleur for ballroom lessons. Bill for curse-breaking lessons which is optional for NEWT levels. Percy would be teaching how to write Wizengamout report papers for anyone interested who had completed their OWLS only.
Dumbledore quickly agreed and asked them for a full lesson plan before the week is out. They all agreed and Draco told Professor Dumbledore he wanted the Wizarding Customs class and ballroom lessons to be required for all students and Muggle Studies to be required for all Half-Bloods, Wizard Raised, and Pure-Blood students and that it was optional for muggle-born and muggle-raised. Dumbledore agreed, called his house elf Tipper, and asked him to take the new professors to their quarters.
When the professors arrived in their quarters they began unpacking and placed their belongings in the chest and drawers. Then everyone set down at the table.
