Naruto laid in his hospital bed on a bright sunday morning. Enjoying the sedative sensation of the painkillers as he awaited the final results of the test. Ida Norio had been quite brutal in last night's rampage, and he wanted to make sure he went into next week feeling one hundred percent.

The doctor came back a few minutes later and said, "Uzumaki-san, good news, good news. Outside from some minor bruising which should go away with some cream as usual, so you will be good to go for next week's event,"

Naruto sighed in relief, "So, I'm good to go then? When will I be discharged, Nahara-sensei?"

"You are currently being discharged as we speak and can go within the hour," the doctor stated and then left the room.

Naruto got up and started getting ready to leave after spending a night at the hospital for observation following a six match marathon and the attack.

He was soon discharged, and his father came to pick him up. He got in the car, where his father greeted him, "How are you doing son?"

"Same old, same old," Naruto said, "Thanks for picking me up dad,"

"So, you're doing a cage match next week," Gorou said as he drove the vehicle, "Your mom is not gonna like that, you know she hates those matches,"

"Yeah, well, it's gonna be a hell of a show," the blond replied, reclining his seat a bit, "I either win and become the new champion, or I get she finally gets her wish for me to stop fighting,"

Gorou sighed, Miki and Naruto had a small point of contention when it came to their eldest son's choice of career. Miki did not like to see her child fighting every Saturday night, but there he was. Fighting fifty two times a year, sometimes waking up Sunday morning in the hospital.

The worst bump was during an extreme rules match, when he got a severe concussion that left him not remembering most of the night

But Gorou also saw where his adopted son came from. He didn't know if it was a quality of the blond's biological parents, or maybe something when he was a kid, or perhaps it was his lack of friend in his real life and rather lonely days. If he wasn't at school he was working, and if he wasn't working he was at the gym working out or practicing his martial arts.

But Gorou didn't have the heart to deny his son, when he looked so happy every time he fought. And Naruto was a bit like himself, a workaholic dedicated to doing his job.

Even when he was doing martial arts he could be found at midnight practicing and refining his skills.

But wrestling was a whole nother study.

In the year he had seen his son wrestle every Saturday night. Naruto had been a workhorse. Whether it was short five minute matches, or whether it was a main event spot, the whiskered boy gave it his all sometimes to his own detriment.

And the crowd, seeing his son in the short span of a year go from a complete unknown to getting people behind him, that was amazing. And even Miki couldn't help but feel proud.

Who knew the boy they brought home would become such a rising star? And it wasn't like he slacked in his work or school either.

Honestly, only if Issei could be a bit more like him instead of the hyper fixation on boobs and harems. Not that he blamed his younger son mind you, he himself had wanted a harem when he was younger. But then he met Miki and he realized she was everything he ever needed.

"You sure you don't want a nice and quiet office job?" Gorou asked Naruto after their silence.

"No offense pops, but you look like shit," Naruto replied, "If working on an office is gonna make me look like you, nah,"

They looked at each other as the car came to a stop at a red light. Making eye contact with each other, and then they burst out laughing.

They spent the rest of the ride in silence. And when they got home, they found Miki in the kitchen area preparing dinner. She greeted them both with a smile, "Welcome back, dinner will be ready in a couple hours,"

"Thanks mom," Naruto stated as he readjusted his bag in his shoulder, "I'll take a nap, I didn't exactly get much sleep at the hospital,"

And then he took his leave. And did just as he said he would, take a nap.

Later that night, after dinner he was watching a movie with Issei. When his little brother asked him, "Hey, Naruto? Why do you actually fight?"

"Where is this coming from?" Naruto asked, raising his head to look at the brown haired boy.

Issei scratched the back of his head, "Well, I never considered it before. Because you've been doing martial arts since I could remember, but this wrestling stuff seems dangerous. But yet you still do it, so why? There's so many other ways you can still make money,"

"Well, it's true. There are other ways I could make money," Naruto answered slowly, as he sat forward, resting his elbows on his thighs, "But I don't do it for the money. You see Issei, I really do love to fight, and at least at KEW I can fight to my heart's content. Do it fairly safely, and entertain people while at it,"

He paused for one moment, recalling, "Do you remember last year, just a month or two before I started wrestling?"

"When you went to that sleepover?" Issei asked, tilting his head.

Naruto nodded, grimacing, "See, I didn't actually go to a sleepover, Issei, I got arrested for getting into a fight with someone,"

"I don't remember much of what actually happened that led up to that fight, probably something stupid," Naruto stated, "I don't know why our parents decided to hide that from you. But I got arrested, and I would have gone to prison, but that cop who was doing my arrest saw something in me and he contacted mister Miyagi. Losing that apprenticeship, I lost my spirit."

He looked at the ground in contemplation as he continued, "That day I disrespected my family, lost my old job, and disrespected myself. and I should have gone to prison. But I got a second chance, And Mr Miyagi put me to work. And man, I'm addicted, addicted to the high I get when I step into the ring, and the crowds are cheering. Addicted to the adrenaline when I'm competing and me and whoever im fighting give it our all, telling a story and having a conversation with every punch and kick and move we do,"

He looked back at Issei and finished with, "I don't do it for the money little brother. I do it for the love of the game, for that adrenaline rush of coming out victorious or in defeat, to how electric the crowds get, and every achievement and accolade i collect, helping to put food on the table so that mom can cook her amazing dinner and helping out with the bills so dad doesn't have to work as much."

"Wow, you're basically like Goku, but you're real," Issei said as he sat back on the couch, "I'm surprised you don't have a harem or a girlfriend,"

"Issei, Harem are for chinese kings," Naruto said laughing, "Besides, fighting is simple. Girls are complicated man, As popular as I am in wrestling, I don't think I'll ever find a girlfriend,"

Issei frowned, "But what if you become a really famous wrestler? Won't girls flock to you?"

"But will they love me for me? Or will they be in love with the image of the character that is Naruto Uzumaki?" Naruto asked with a raised eyebrow, as his shoulders slumped, "I don't think I'll ever have a girlfriend. That's just not in the cards for me, but that's fine. I don't have friends at school either, you know that. But as long as I have wrestling, as long as I have my family, as long as I can keep doing the charity work with KEW then I am truly happy with my life, I don't need a girl. Unlike your horny ass,"

They both laughed, and finished the rest of the movie.

The following day, Monday, saw Naruto going to school. It was a bit odd, because Kuoh academy was from elementary through college and yet all the classes were in the same humongous campus.

Honestly he had gotten so lost on his first day of school. Classes went as they usually did, which was boring. Especially for a business major such as him.

What? He was a wrestler, not stupid.

Eventually the day had come to an end and he was looking forward to going home and resting a bit before he had to go to work.

But first he had something to do, he had promised some tickets to someone, and he had to deliver them.

He walked around the halls for a bit as he looked for the white haired girl, before deciding it would likely be better if he waited by the entrance. However as he walked down the stairs he found the person he was looking for.

"Oh, little one, there you are," Naruto said as he pulled out an envelope from his jacket, "I got your tickets right here."

"Naruto-san," the white haired girl with amber eyes greeted him and took the envelope, and then took his hand as well as she said, "follow me,"

"Uh, little one, where are we going?" Naruto said as he was dragged by the small but surprisingly strong girl, as she dragged him down the stairs.

"Koneko, my name is Koneko," the girl said stating her name, "And I'm going to introduce you to Buchou and you will explain wrestling to her,"

"Okay…" Naruto said knowing he had little choice in what was about to go down.

Koneko dragged her prey towards her current target, her king. Rias Gremory in the old school building. She wasn't going to be going alone for next week's match, as she had convinced her king to go with her.

But first she needed Rias to know the importance of the main event of next Saturday night so she could enjoy it to the fullest along with the white haired rook.

But there was one little problem, aside from the fact that Rias knew practically nothing about wrestling. Koneko was not someone who enjoyed speaking all that much, much less when she was watching something.

So she decided to kill two birds with one stone by making Naruto go with her to the club room so he could explain things to Rias so that Koneko herself could just enjoy the replay of last Saturday's matches without any interruptions to herself.

She dragged the blond wrestler into the club room, where Rias was doing some of her paperwork. She announced her presence, "Buchou! I have brought Naruto-san to explain the matches to you as we rewatch them. That way you know what's going on for Saturday,"

Rias looked up and blinked, surprised at seeing the tall blonde behind her rook. Her glasses accentuated her eyes as she looked at the blonde, before coughing weakly into her hand and saying, "Sure, Koneko. Naruto-san can grab a seat and you can get the TV ready, i still have a bit of paperwork left to finish,"

Koneko frowned at that, and led Naruto to the big couch and looked up at him with her wide amber eyes and said, "Sit!"

The blond immediately did as ordered, looking quite awkward and sheepish as he did so. Then the rook walked up to her king, took her pen away from her, and grab her by the hand and dragged her over to the couch, where she quite demanding ky told her to sit, and said, "Now introduce yourselves,"

And left them there to put the match on the tv.

Naruto rubbed the back of his head and said, "Uh, I am Naruto Uzumaki,"

"Rias Gremory," the red haired devil said as she shook his hand, "Pleasure to meet you,"

Koneko spoke as she came back, a tray of sweets in hand for herself of course, and the remote in hand, "Now watch, any questions to Naruto-san please,"
